의상학 관련 국가기술자격증의 취득실태 및 인식 (The Acquisition State and Perceptions about the Clothing-related National Skill Qualification Certificates)

  • This study aims to survey the perceptions held by students and field workers regarding the clothing-related qualification certificates, which can serve as the base for becoming clothing professionals, to compare and analyze the actual state of qualification certificates on the basic research level, and thus to search for the directions suitable for the clothing-related qualification certificates. The questionnaire method was selected for the study. The responses of 406 copies from students and 81 copies from field workers were used, and frequency analysis and t-test were done with the assistance of spss 10.0 statistics program, The findings are as follows. First, as to the qualification certificates perceived by the students, the certificates of colorist engineer and colorist industrial engineer were known most. 237 students, or 58.4% of the student respondents, had obtained the information about the qualification certificates mainly through the internet and mass media, and 77.3% of the students had a plan to get the qualification certificates. Second, as to the qualification certificates perceived by the field workers, the respondents indicated that school grades(43.2%) would be given the highest additional points at the time of employment, while the clothing-related qualification certificates gathered low responses of 11.1%. The field workers perceived that the qualification certificate of Western suit engineer(pattern) was needed for the job, while 45.4% of them perceived that no qualification certificate was required for the job. Third, both the students and the field workers showed low acquisition levels of the qualification certificates, and in view of their perceptions that the qualification certificates of languages or computer skills were more useful, the improvement is needed in order for the national certificates for the clothing-related skill qualification to develop in the more job-related directions.

Perceived Susceptibility, and Cervical Cancer Screening Benefits and Barriers in Malaysian Women Visiting Outpatient Clinics

  • Aims: A main reason for increasing incidence of cervical cancer worldwide is the lack of regular cervical cancer screening. Coverage and uptake remain major challenges and it is crucial to determine the perceived susceptibility to cervical cancer, as well as the benefits of, and barriers to, cervical cancer screening among women. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 369 women attending an outpatient centre in Malaysia and data were collected by administering a self-report questionnaire. Results: The majority of the participants (265, 71.8%) showed good level of perception of their susceptibility to cervical cancer. Almost all responded positively to four statements about the perceived benefits of cervical cancer screening (agree, 23.1% or strongly agree, 52.5%), whereas negative responses were received from most of the participants (agree, 29.9%or strongly agree, 14.6 %) about the eleven statements on perceived barriers. Significant associations were observed between age and perceived susceptibility($x^2$=9.030, p=0.029); between employment status (p<0.001) as well as ethnicity and perceived benefits (p<0.05 [P=0.003]); and between education and perceived barriers to cervical cancer screening (p<0.001). Conclusions: Perceived susceptibility, including knowledge levels and personal risk assessment, should be emphasized through education and awareness campaigns to improve uptake of cervical cancer screening in Malaysia.

경력단절여성의 재취업 경험에 대한 질적 연구 : 경력단절여성과 채용담당자가 경험한 어려움을 중심으로 (A Qualitative Study of the Difficulties Experienced in the Reemployment Process : Focusing on The Experience of Career-interrupted Women and Recruiters)

  • 본 연구는 경력단절여성들이 재취업 과정에서 경험하는 어려움을 피고용인과 고용인의 차원에서 다면적으로 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 연구참여자는 재취업 경험이 있는 여성집단과 경력단절여성의 채용 경험이 있는 채용담당자 집단으로 구성되었다. 각 집단은 연구참여에 동의한 경력단절여성 6명과 채용담당자 6명으로 구성되었으며, 포커스집단인터뷰를 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 경력단절여성은 '존재감 상실과 우울', '나이로 인한 채용단절을 느낌', '욕구와 동떨어진 일자리와 조우', '효용성 낮은 자격증', '직장에 소홀할 것 같은 여성', '가사와 육아는 여성들의 몫', '현실적이지 못한 육아지원제도', '경력개발 및 정보 획득을 위한 자원부족'을 경험하였다. 채용담당자들은 '초기고용비용에 대한 소실', '직업의식이 부족한 여성', '여성에게 맞는 일자리 부족', '현실과 다른 여성의 눈높이', '고용연계시스템 개선에 대한 바램'을 경험했다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 경력단절여성재취업 활성화를 위한 몇가지 제언을 하였다.

대학수학능력시험 직업탐구 영역 수산·해운 선택과목 응시집단 특성 변화에 대한 전공 교사의 인식 (Perception on Changes of the Characteristics of Examinee's Group for the Elective Subjects of Fisheries and Shipping Industry in Vocation Education Division CSAT by Fisheries and Shipping affiliate Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends that the Fishery and Shipping Department teachers at specialized vocational high schools have noticed about the characteristics of the applicant pool taking the College Scholastic Achievement Test(CSAT) since the vocational education division was first introduced in the CSAT in 2005. In addition, surveyed data from the study is highly desirable for researchers to understand the changes in the characteristics of the applicants for the fishery and maritime department in the CSAT. This study not only provides solid improvement on the selection of questions for the CSAT but also facilitates in the process of writing contemporary and relevant exam questions. The survey included 76 Teachers from 12 High School of Fisheries and Shipping Industry. The results were as follows. First, the reduction in the number of applicants for Fishery and Maritime department in the CSAT after 2010 is due to the new governmental policy that encourages students in vocational schools to find employment rather than pursuing further education. Second, the biggest group of students who forgo taking the CSAT after 2010 is those with high marks at school. Third, prediction of outcome after declining to take the person for the time being would be kept to a minimum sustained was staring personnel at some point.

전문대학 RNTC(부사관학군단) 제도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Test Application of RNTC System in College)

  • 현재 육군 부사관 획득은 임관목표인 6,500명 대비 80% 수준이며, 인력 운영은 88%로 정원 대비 약 9,500명이 부족한 실태이다. 이를 해결하기 위한 대책으로 2015년부터 RNTC 제도를 도입해 시범적용 하였고, 향후 전국의 전문대학까지 확대할 검토도 이루어지고 있다. RNTC 제도는 2020년부터 편제화되어 정식 운영되고 있지만, 시범적용 기간 중 논쟁이 된 쟁점을 검토 및 보완하지 않았다. 군과 대학의 공통적 목표는 '다양하고 우수한 인력을 획득 및 확보' 하는 것이다. 하지만 특정학과에 편중된 선발이 이루어지고 있으며, 이는 곧 다양한 병과 획득에 제한되었다. 대학에서도 전체 학과 학생을 대상으로 균등한 선발이 되기를 기대하였으나 제한적이었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 시행중인 RNTC 제도가 완전히 정착될 수 있도록 제도적인 검토의 필요성을 인식하고 이에 대한 발전방향을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 직업교육훈련제도를 고찰하여 직업훈련기관에서 시행하고 있는 교육훈련의 실태를 조사 $\cdot$ 분석하여 직업교육훈련의 활성화를 위한 기초적인 자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 현재 시행되고 있는 직업교육훈련제도는 건설업의 특수한 고용구조를 반영하지 못한 채 시행되고 있어 건설관련직종에 대한 기능인력양성에 부응하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 건설일용직근로자들의 직업교육훈련에 대한 부정적 시각으로 인해 대다수의 직업교육훈련기관에서는 교육생의 모집에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 건설업의 특수성을 고려한 직업교육훈련제도의 개선과 건설일용직근로자들이 직업교육훈련을 기피하는 근본적인 원인파악 및 이에 대한 대응방안의 수립이 필요하다.

The Effects of Social Support Perceived by Career-interrupted Women On Career Preparation Behavior: Focus on Mediating Effects of Career Decision Self-efficacy

  • 본 연구는 경력단절여성들의 인식을 바탕으로 진로에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 사회적 지지와 진로결정자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향과 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 여성취업지원기관에서 직업훈련에 참여하고 있거나 구직등록을 한 경력단절여성 227명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사법을 이용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경력단절여성들이 인식한 사회적 지지는 진로결정자기효능감과 진로준비행동에 유의미한 상관관계로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지의 하위요인 중 정서적 지지가 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 진로결정자기효능감의 하위요인 중 목표설정과 직업정보는 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 사회적 지지와 진로준비행동의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 경력단절여성들을 대상으로 진로지도 시 기술적인 측면보다 심리적 측면을 더 중요하게 다루어야 함을 시사해 준다.

외식·조리전공 대학생들의 사찰음식에 대한 인식 및 대중화 방안에 관한 연구 (Recognition and Propagation for Temple Food among University Students with Food-related Majors)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the perspective and popularization of temple food among university students with food related majors, and to provide basic data for the popularization and the fostering of professional lecture in temple food. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was applied to 453 university students at six universities with food related majors. The questionnaire was designed to examine interest, recognition, consumption, popularization and curriculum of temple food. Results: The study population consisted of 19.2% men, and 80.8% women, and the most common response to desired career after graduation was food related employment (53.9%). Overall, 49.0% replied that they had an interest in temple food, which was relatively low. 59.9% of respondents who had been known throw TV, Internet, newspaper, and magazines about temple food were showed the highest results. Additionally, as for the perception of temple food, 'Prevention of lifestyle related disease' was the highest score (4.10). Overall, 64.9% of the subjects had not tried temple food, and 84.7% of these responded that this was because they had not encountered temple food. Among subjects who had tried temple food, most had encountered it at a temple (73.0%), and 78.0% replied that the taste of temple food was suitable. The intention to try temple food was 73.3%, and 64.8% of respondents said there was a necessity to establishment curriculum regarding temple food. Finally, interest, popularization, and intention to try temple food were significantly positively corelated. Conclusions: The results showed high interest in temple food and willingness to participate in education regarding temple food, as well as awareness of the need for popularization. Therefore, it is necessary to increase intake opportunities to raise interest in temple foods. This can be accomplished utilizing publicity materials, as well as by offering opportunities for temple food education through curriculum.

병원 간호사의 환자안전관리활동 영향요인 연구 (Factors Affecting Patient Safety Management Activities at Nursing Divisions of Two University Hospitals)

  • This study was conducted to find out factors affecting patient safety management activities at nursing devisions of two university hospitals. The indicators of patient safety activities used in the study were selected from Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture which was developed by The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in the United States. Data were collected from 372 nurses working at inpatient wards at two university hospitals located in Seoul and Won-Ju cities through the self-administered questionnaires, and analyzed using frequency analysis, t-test, correlation, and regression analysis. The result of this study were as follows. First, The mean of patient safety management activities was 3.41 which was a little bit higher than the average level. The mean of communication within the ward was the highest, whereas that of patient safety management culture was the lowest. Second, there were significant differences in the perception of nurses on patient safety management activities in terms of the educational background, length of employment, and work hours per week. Third, three variables of communication within the unit, attitude of top management, and attitude of nurses have significant positive effects on patient safety management activities. Fourth, 37.4% of the variation in the patient safety management activities was explained by the study variables. In conclusion, hospital administration and nursing managers should make an effort to learn the knowledge of patient safety program, show their deep interest on the patient safety to the employees and motivate them to communicate effectively each other within the work unit to develop a good patient safety culture and system.

경호관련학과 학생들의 경호영어 능력 실태 및 발전방안 (A Study on the Security English Ability Status and Progress Plan of Security Related Department Students)

  • 이 연구는 경호관련학과 학생들의 경호영어 능력 실태와 그 발전방안에 관한 연구에 목적을 두고 있다. 연구의 방법으로는 영어 능력에 관한 설문조사와 경호지식에 관한 간단한 테스트를 통하여 실태를 파악하였다. 일반 영어 및 경호영어 능력에 있어서 학생들의 현 실태는 전반적으로 매우 낮고 미흡한 것으로 나타났으며, 이로 인하여 개인들과 학교들의 적극적인 노력이 필요함을 인식하였다. 국내외 주요 인사 및 VIP를 경호하는 경호요원들은 국제적인 역량에 있어서 영어 의사소통능력이 필수적이며, 이를 위하여 졸업 후 원활한 취업 및 진로 준비에 도움이 될 수 있도록 경호관련학과 학생들은 대학 과정 중에 반드시 영어 의사소통 능력을 향상시켜야 할 필요가 있다. 교양영어 프로그램의 다양화를 통하여 일반영어 능력을 향상시켜야 하며, 더불어 전문적인 경호영어에 관한 능력 구비를 위하여 체계적인 학습과 노력이 필요하며, 또한 이를 위하여 각 대학들이 경호영어 커리큘럼 편성을 장려하여야 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 한국 경호관련학과에 경호영어의 중요성과 인식에 있어서 전환과 발전이 있기를 바라며, 그럼으로써 더욱 국제적인 자격과 역량을 갖춘 경호요원들이 많이 배출되기를 기대한다.
