Purpose - The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of choice of cause on the purchase intention by dividing it into the situation selected by the consumer and the company. This study also examines the moderating effect of cause options diversity and company-cause fit on the relationship between choice of cause and purchase intention. This will provide the theoretical information necessary to gain an in-depth understanding of the consumer's intention to purchase the cause-related marketing campaign, and in practice, it is expected that companies will be able to obtain useful information for effective planning and execution of the cause-related marketing campaign. Research design, date, and methodology - This study's survey was carried out on the college students of university located in Shandong, China. It was from November 4-11, 2018, and a total of 440 questionnaires were distributed, with 424 collected. Of them, effective questionnaires used in the final study were a total of 400 except 24 that couldn't be used. In this study, empirical analysis was done with frequency analysis, reliability analysis, analysis of variance and simple effect analysis by using Statistics Package SPSS 20.0. Results - The results are reported below: first of all, in the cause-related campaign consumers are more willing to buy the products when they are allowed to choice the focal cause of charity than when the company selects the cause of charity. Furthermore, the positive effect of allowing consumers to choice the cause of charity (vs. company choice) on purchase intentions is greater for high cause diversity to select. Finally, the positive effect of allowing consumers to choice the cause of charity (vs. company choice) on purchase intentions is greater when perceived fit between the company and the cause charity is low. Conclusions - This study extends the scope of the consumer perspective from consumer purchase intention research to the choice of cause in the cause-related marketing. When consumers select the cause, it would be better to provide the cause charity in diversifying selection and provide options for low fit between company and cause charity.
The primary purpose of this study is to examine empirically the effect of foreign crew's cultural and organizational characteristics on their self-efficacy and organization commitment. Currently, the restrictions on the employment of the foreign crews are being eased in the Korean shipping industry and many problems are occurring consequently. However, specific and empirical studies on the relevancy of cultural characteristics to the crew's self-efficacy and organizational commitment on board the vessels with combined crews have not yet been carried out. To solve these problems, we examined how the cultural characteristics such as acculturation and accommodation of different culture related to the improvement of cultural homogeneity of vessels with combined crews influence on the self-efficacy, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the foreign crews through SEM analysis. According to the results, hypothesis 1 and 2 were all supported with statistical significance. To conclude, this study suggests that foreign crew's cultural homogeneity and their self-efficacy should be firstly enhanced in order to improve organizational commitment on the vessel with combined crews. Furthermore, a study on self-efficacy of crew organization is urgently needed to enhance the effectiveness of an organization in a vessel with combined crews that has special environment. The result of this study will contribute a lot to the organization management of a vessel with combined crews.
Nowadays, the third-party logistics is getting special attention as one of the most useful ways to perform the logistics management effectively. In this current trend, however, there are many firms which carry out the logistics activities by themselves and strengthen the competitiveness. In respect of contingency theory, the firms' logistics management types should depend on their logistics environment and characteristics, and then the logistics performances vary with this suitability. In this context, this study analyzed empirically the difference of the logistics performances due to the fitness between their logistics characteristics and the management types. According to the finding, the study showed that the third-party logistics is more suitable when the importance and weight of logistics operation and the weight of their export are greater respectively, and the self-logistics is more suitable when the logistics cost is higher. Futhermore, the study indicated that the firms whose relationship between the characteristics and the management types is fit in their logistics are better than the others in the outcome of logistics cost reduction and the effectiveness of logistics operation.
The purpose of this investigation is to analyze the synchronization between the representative global freight index, the Baltic Dry bulk Index (BDI) and the China Container Freight Index (CCFI) with monthly data from 2000 to 2016. Using the non-stationarity of the business cycle that is able to include common trends, we employ the Engle-Granger 2 stage co-integration test and found no synchronization. On the contrary, we additionally estimated the causality between the markets and revealed the causality, which implies that the Chinese economy has a significant effect on the global market. The results of this empirical analysis demonstrate that the CCFI of China is appropriate for analyzing the shipping industry. In practice, this means that it is more appropriate to include CCFI in the global market outlook than use it as a substitute for the global freight rate index, the BDI. This is a case study of the synchronization of the economic fluctuations of the shipping industry. It suggests that the economic fluctuations of China need to be considered in the unstable global market forecast. In particular, this case applies to the fluctuations in the shipping industry synchronism and provides important results in scientific terms.
Reliability evaluations of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) pipe with respect of thermal exposure time have been investigated in accordance with RS M 0042, which is a reliability standard for polymer pipe. As the thermal exposure time is prolonged, a progressive increase, until 250 days, in tensile strength and a slight increase in hardness are observed, while a proportional decrease in elongation at break is showed. These results can be explained by the increase of crystallinity, followed by the increase of crosslinking density, chain scission and the decrease in chain mobility, due to thermal oxidation as the exposure time increases. Long term hydrostatic pressure test result implies the existence of transition point from ductile to brittle fracture. Oxidation induction time (OIT) test is employed to monitor the thermo-oxidative degradation of LLDPE pipe. This result shows that after the exposure time is 250 days, the depletion of antioxidants added in LLDPE pipe occurs. An empirical equation as function of exposure time, under $100^{\circ}C$ thermal-degradation condition, is proposed to assess the remaining amount of antioxidants owing to thermo-oxidative degradation. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results show the increase of carbonyl (-C=O) and hydroxyl (O-H) function groups on the surface of thermally exposed LLDPE pipe. This result suggests that the hydrocarbon groups locally undergo the oxidation on the LLDPE surface due to thermal-degradation.
The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of emotional intelligence in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. To achieve this research purpose, theoretical and empirical studies related to transformational leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and emotional intelligence were carried out simultaneously. A field survey was undertaken through questionnaire sampling a population of public organization in Chungchungnamdo. The established hypotheses related to transformational leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and emotional intelligence were verified by the hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS. The result of this research are as followers : First, hypothesis1 proposed that emotional intelligence will be moderate the effect of charisma on organizational citizenship behavior. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed that moderation term was insignificant. The interaction term for charisma and emotional intelligence had a insignificant and positive relationship with organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis1 was not supported by the data. Second. hypothesis2 stated that emotional intelligence will be moderate the effects of inspirational motivation on organizational citizenship behavior. Hypothesis2 The result of the hierarchical regression analysis show a insignificant interaction between inspirational motivation and emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis2 was not supported by the data. Third, hypothesis3 stated that emotional intelligence will moderate the effect of intellectual stimulation on organizational citizenship behavior. The result of the hierarchical regression analysis show a significant interaction between intellectual stimulation and emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis3 was supported by the data. Fourth, hypothesis4 proposed that emotional intelligence will moderate effect of individualized consideration on organizational citizenship behavior. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed that the interaction term for individualized consideration and emotional intelligence had a significant and positive relationship with organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, hypothesis4 was supported by the data. This study revealed that emotional intelligence moderate the relationship between intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, and organizational citizenship behavior. It concludes that organizational citizenship behavior varies with coalignment of transformational leadership and emotional intelligence.
The purposes of this study are following. First, we want to review the relationship between trust and precedent variables including shared value, communication and opportunistic behavior in the on-line and off-line channel. Second, building the relationship among variables from previous research, we develop the research model. Third, based on the empirical analysis, we want to build the relationship among variables. Fourth, based on results of analysis, we want to elicit implications for marketing management from the trust in on-line channel in order to enhance the relationship commitment and customer loyalty. Theoretical implications of this study are following. First, under the multiple channel retailing environment, trust in on-line channel is influenced by the trust in off-line channel that the company is operating. Previous researches couldn't found this result because these researches divided on-line and off-line channel separatedly, Second, under the multiple channel retailing environment, on-line or off-line relational attributes including shared value, opportunistic behavior and communication have a effect on trust or relationship commitment So, shared value, opportunistic behavior and communication are very important variables having a effect on trust and relationship commitment in not only off-line channel but also on-line channel. Third, trust and relationship commitment were important mediate variables in multiple channel environment. This result goes with previous researches in single channel.
The study of the validity test on the self-monitoring scale for nurses In this study, both the literary survey as well as empirical research has been executed to test the validity of the scales that measure the construct of the self-monitoring scale. The self-monitoring scale could not be classified into five factors as Snyder suggested. Many other scholars (Briggs, Cheek and Buss, 1980) suggested 3 different classifications which was accepted by Snyder and Gangestad (1986). John, Cheek and Klohnen(1996) claimed a two-factor classification. As has been discussed, factor analysis is used to prove convergent validity within the factor and discriminant validity between the factors. However, depending on the researchers, many variations in classification of the factors were found and a lack of content and discriminant validity were found in the previous research findings. It is also important to note that Snyder's self-monitoring scale did not factor-load at over. 30 for all 25 items, regardless of how many factors could be classified. According to findings of this study, the self-monitoring scale neither classified as five, three or two factors nor factor loaded as hypothesized. It is also clear that Snyder's self-monitoring scale lacks convergent validity as the sub-factors of the scale failed to prove its uni-dimensionality. The A self-monit oring scale not only fail to overcome the problems of Snyder's self-monitori ng scale but even lost the attractiveness of the self-monitoring scale. In this study it was also found that the A self-monitoring scale was not classified in either in a two or three-factor classification as hypothesized. It is, of course, not desirable to use any scale that lacks convergent and discriminant validity even though it has been widely used and has held a great deal of influence on the field of social psychology. To overcome the shortcomings of Snyder's self-monitoring scale, Lennox and Wolfe(1984) suggested 13 items. This study was dedicated to test the validity and reliability of the scale, in which we found that the data presented in validity as the two factors were class ified and loaded as expected. Reliability was also proven by checking Cronbach's α for each factor and for the total items. In addition, a confirmatory factor analysis was executed for the 13 items using LISREL 8.12 program to confirm convergent validity in a two-factor classification. The model was fitting and sound : however, the self-monitoring scale was unfitted and not validated. Thus, it is recommended to use not the original nor the abbreviated self-monitoring scale but the 13 items in future studies. It should also be noted that items 7 and 13 should be removed to obtain better uni-dimensionality for the 13 items. These items loaded at over. 30, too high for the two factors in the test results of Factor analysis. In addition, it is necessary to double-check the cause of two-hold loading at over .30 for the two factors. It could be a problem caused by data or by the scale itself. Therefore, additional studies should follow to better clarify this matter.

While economy in Africa began booming since 2000. Influenced by Global Financial Crisis and European Debt Crisis, economy in Africa slightly slowed down, but it was rebounding apparently from 2010. The urgent demand for energy and the sharp increasing in foreign exchange reserve pushes China to seek overseas markets. As Africa keeps a well relationship with China and the complementarity between China and Africa economy, Africa becomes one of the target markets for China's foreign development. Recently more and more enterprises begin to invest in Africa market. But till now the study on Africa mainly focuses on theoretical research based on real cases, and empirical research are very few and need to be increased. This thesis studies the influence of enterprise feature; local market feature and investment in foreign market on the result satisfaction of Chinese enterprises that invest in Africa markets. At the same time this thesis also studies and analyzes the market access strategy and marketing strategy for Chinese enterprises after entering overseas markets and put forward effective recommendation and suggestion for these enterprises. In order to proceed this study, 317 Chinese enterprises which invest in Africa have been investigated by me. And frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and simple regression analysis have also been conducted by SPSS18.0 APP to verify the hypothesis. The study result suggests that onlu investment in foreign market affects the Performance satisfaction of Chinese enterprises. And the market access strategy and marketing strategy play a role of the mediational effects when Chinese enterprises are investing in Africa.
