A Study on the Characteristics of Human Resources Required in Electronics Company (미래 융합기술사회에서 전자기업의 인재상 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of talents required in electronic companies in the 4th industrial revolution. we conducted a network analysis on the key talent of the companies presented in over 100 job announcements to companies in the electronics industry. The results of the study are as follows. First, electronic companies showed the most favored creative talents, preferring collaborative talent and challenging talent. Second, looking at the core definitions of talent, change, response, problem solving, performance creation, communication, challenge, professionalism, enthusiasm, development, aggressiveness and spontaneity were used. In other words, key keywords emerging from the 4th industrial revolution were being used continuously. Third, in the Centrality analysis, talented people who emphasize humanity also appeared. Based on the study, it suggested that manpower training of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Optimal Surveillance Trajectory Planning for Illegal UAV Detection for Group UAV using Particle Swarm Optimization (불법드론 탐지를 위한 PSO 기반 군집드론 최적화 정찰궤적계획)

  • The use of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) have been regarded as a promising technique in both military and civilian applications. Nevertheless, due to the lack of relevant and regulations and laws, the misuse of illegal drones poses a serious threat to social security. In this paper, aiming at deriving the three-dimension optimal surveillance trajectories for group monitoring drones, we develop a group trajectory planner based on the particle swarm optimization and updating mechanism. Together, to evaluate the trajectories generated by proposed trajectory planner, we propose a group-objectives fitness function in accordance with energy consumption, flight risk. The simulation results validate that the group trajectories generated by proposed trajectory planner can preferentially visit important areas while obtaining low energy consumption and minimum flying risk value in various practical situations.

Drone Location Tracking with Circular Microphone Array by HMM (HMM에 의한 원형 마이크로폰 어레이 적용 드론 위치 추적)

  • In order to reduce the threat by illegal unmanned aerial vehicles, a tracking system based on sound was implemented. There are three main points to the drone acoustic tracking method. First, it scans the space through variable beam formation to find a sound source and records the sound using a microphone array. Second, it classifies it into a hidden Markov model (HMM) to find out whether the sound source exists or not, and finally, the sound source is In the case of a drone, a sound source recorded and stored as a tracking reference signal based on an adaptive beam pattern is used. The simulation was performed in both the ideal condition without background noise and interference sound and the non-ideal condition with background noise and interference sound, and evaluated the tracking performance of illegal drones. The drone tracking system designed the criteria for determining the presence or absence of a drone according to the improvement of the search distance performance according to the microphone array performance and the degree of sound pattern matching, and reflected in the design of the speech reading circuit.

  • A 3-GSymbol/s/lane transceiver, which supports the mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) C-physical layer (PHY) specification version 1.1, is proposed. It performs channel mismatch correction to improve the signal integrity that is deteriorated by using three-level signals over three channels. The proposed channel mismatch correction is performed by detecting channel mismatches in the receiver and adjusting the delay times of the transmission data in the transmitter according to the detection result. The channel mismatch detection in the receiver is performed by comparing the phases of the received signals with respect to the pre-determined data pattern transmitted from the transmitter. The proposed MIPI C-PHY receiver is designed using a 65 nm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process with 1.2 V supply voltage. The area and power consumption of each transceiver lane are 0.136 ㎟ and 17.4 mW/GSymbol/s, respectively. The proposed channel mismatch correction reduces the time jitter of 88.6 ps caused by the channel mismatch to 34.9 ps.

  • The robot has been widely applied to all parts for the improvement of the life quality of human beings. It is expected that the parts industry for robots is rapidly growing to one of the majority of the future robot industry. The electronic components of robots are connected to the central processing unit and an organic part of a robot system. The central processing unit must be controlled to operate more efficiently by configuring some control systems of the robot. In this paper, we propose a new platform model that centralizes several parts of a robot through the CAN based communication system and simplifies their connection structure.

Consideration of Domestic Category Killers for Distribution Environment

  • The category killer that has been rapidly growing mainly in advanced countries since early 1990's, is a mew distribution model which aims for obtaining market controlling power by surpassing competing businesses in a specific area of products. The domestic situation of category killers is very different from that of advanced ones abroad since it has just been introduced into the Korean market. At the moment, there are only 10 or so companies operating in the market : Geopyung's , Taeheng's , Midopa's , of Sinsegye Department store, adn of Yerim International. The purpose of this study is to examine problems of domestic companies in the present market by analysing the operation status of category killers in domestic markets as well as foreign ones, and to suggest a counter-strategy of category killers for the distribution environment of the 21st century to improve the competitiveness of Korean distribution industry. The competitiveness of category killers lies above all in products lines. Category killers are equipped with the greatest number of products lines among those of competing businesses due to maximized product selections in an limited range. Another source of competitiveness may be found in balanced strategy positioning. That is to say, category killers are in a position where they can adjust policies towards any of the three purposes while aiming at them altogether : prices of discount stores, products range of specialty stores, and customer service level of department stores. It is also necessary for efficient store operation to use information technology such as electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic pose system(EPOS) and electronic funds transfer (EFTPOS). As for the cost structure, category killers can gain an advantage over other business since operating cost of various sections can be saved. There are, however, certain risks that category killers with strong competitiveness may influence on other businesses a great deal and even facilitate their decline. Yet it seems that the growth of category killers will be more viciously restrained by continuous challenges from other businesses. The distribution industry is supposed to develop through such competition and restraint.

  • Recently, various platforms utilizing blockchains have appeared. In order to develop the blockchain, it is required to improve related laws and institutions. In this respect, we analysis of the laws and systems related to domestic blockchains, draw out the limitations, and suggest directions for improvement. The research method was analyzed the literature and related laws through literature review. It is difficult to analyze the whole law and system at one time, so we examined the necessary laws and systems to revitalize the blockchain. It is confirmed that legal improvement is needed on the scope of electronic transactions and electronic financial transactions, electronic commerce, digital signatures, import and export, personal information protection, blockchain industry promotion and research. Through this, we expect a balanced development of effective blockchain revitalization and protection of national fundamental rights. Individual studies on the legal provisions and systems for each item in the future can be conducted.

Defect Diagnosis and Classification of Machine Parts Based on Deep Learning

  • The automatic defect sorting function of machinery parts is being introduced to the automation of the manufacturing process. In the final stage of automation of the manufacturing process, it is necessary to apply computer vision rather than human visual judgment to determine whether there is a defect. In this paper, we introduce a deep learning method to improve the classification performance of typical mechanical parts, such as welding parts, galvanized round plugs, and electro galvanized nuts, based on the results of experiments. In the case of poor welding, the method to further increase the depth of layer of the basic deep learning model was effective, and in the case of a circular plug, the surrounding data outside the defective target area affected it, so it could be solved through an appropriate pre-processing technique. Finally, in the case of a nut plated with zinc, since it receives data from multiple cameras due to its three-dimensional structure, it is greatly affected by lighting and has a problem in that it also affects the background image. To solve this problem, methods such as two-dimensional connectivity were applied in the object segmentation preprocessing process. Although the experiments suggested that the proposed methods are effective, most of the provided good/defective images data sets are relatively small, which may cause a learning balance problem of the deep learning model, so we plan to secure more data in the future.

  • This study is about development of technology system for MIS(Minimally Invasive Surgery) robot of S. Korea analysed by the application of scenario planning. MIS robot industry receive attention as a new growth industry for national and international and is noticeable for the leading industry of future era in Korea. In this paper was examined the characteristics of an MIS robot technology and its components. It was investigated about the technology of an overseas MIS robot(especially U.S.A) and Korean domestic MIS robot and understood such as the country's policy propulsion issues then, was searched about development direction of the future. As a result, the future policy for MIS robot of S. Korea is to further spur the development of new MIS robot technology and more improvement of the technology level of MIS robot with AR(Augmented Reality) display.

Analysis of Performance of Patent for National R&D Project of ICT (ICT 분야 국가 R&D 과제의 특허 성과 분석)

  • As rapidly growing industry, ICT industry is emphasized for its importance and the demand to figure out for the performances of investment of R&D for ICT have been increasing. The performance for investment of R&D analyze mainly as commercialization, sales, hiring employee and intellectual property and so on. In this paper, we propose an analytical method for performance as focusing an application time of patent that are acquired as a result after perform the national project of ICT. We classify 4 subdivision technologies and 17 detailed classification of Korean industrial standard for 35,551 item of ICT area among national R&D project. This paper proposes computational method for required time about patent's performance. As a analyzed result we verify that the activity of technology's commercialization is most active in communication as 1.2 year of ICT among national project.
