This research compares and analyzes the legal deposit of national online electronic publishing and related laws that were recently amended in order to preserve the exponentially increasing number of electronic books(e-books). Based on the analysis, it also seeks ways to initiate a legal deposit system of e-books in South Korea. The research, therefore, defines the exact range and types of e-books. This research proposes three conditions to introduce the legal deposit system in order to preserve South Korean e-books. The first is to establish a clear definition and classification of e-books as data subject to legal deposit for preservation purposes. The second condition is to establish a legal system in order to deposit and collect network(online-exclusive) type e-books. The final condition is to reflect the opinion of publishers and to create security measures against any loss of the companies.

The development of digital technologies and the appearance of computers have brought inevitable changes on the conventional printing publishing system and forms of books. An electronic book has marked its birth, sending out the contents of a book in digital and not using paper books but tile exclusive terminal. As far as systems are concerned, reading and publishing are going the separate ways is kind of impediments should be overcome by introducing the on-line order and sales service and constituting a network interworking service which delivers digital book contents on-line. This paper concerned the book publishing mode which would help to overcome the impediments. The last system is the one with broadcasting and communication as well as computers and the Internet mixed in a very complex way.

If you are sharing a manual created in small organizations, webzine, and other publications, the original or a PDF file or a file created with a word processor to facilitate the sharing of publications and the members of the organization through the data downloaded from the mail or the web most have been used. However, users often do not want to see one online source or download the file. In this paper, If the original file of the word processor on windows-based systems, in this paper, only the upload progress in implementing e-book publishing system automatically e-book system is viewable on the Web by providing a range of information for users and small members and we propose a system construction that can be shared.

The increase of vehicles stagnations leads to the increasing attention to the way customers pay and a large number of projects on electronic cash system. Tranport system is comprised of a number of advanced technologies, including information processing, communications, control, and electronics. Recently many research on a system which provides contact in order to protect driver's vehicle passage have been carried out. And some potential problems from that system are being reviewed by electronic cash system. In this papers, we suggest RF protocol developing technology using the concept of electronic cash. ATM electronic cash developing is consist of component of pre-developed coin throw, Integration of component using its, and production of more requirement-satisfactory ITS solution. Result increase 15∼40％ pre-type vehicles stagnations. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments.

New business The e-book industry is creating a convergence of ICT and printing culture. Even so, the system changes is not great in Korea. Global market players are going to creating a membership or community-type business model to take advantage of the terminal, platform, network, but the creative content production in Korea is limited. Since the discussion is limited to such devices or network services most, we suggest the possibility of modeling a multi-faceted. And the development of technology and services platform content is also important as a strategic approach to the development of the e-book industry. Most of all, we propose the application of content, technologies and services are developed.

In this paper, we design and implement A4 sized, web-based POP(Print On Demand) system using multi-layer technique. We Propose the framework of POP system, which uses multi-layer technique, uses highly accessible web-service, produces template, enables a user to easily edit, and allows the user to instantly print edited files. This system will be widely used in web-based electronic publication and e-book.

This paper proposes a new "Live Book Service" that is combined the analog contents such as paper books and digital contents with various digital multimedia elements, and this service can project the additional digital multimedia contents on the analog paper. Also, we developed a monolithic stand type system which is composed of camera and pico projector, so that it can demonstrate the proposed contents. We also devised the low computational cost algorithm in bare-hands recognition which can be used as the interface between the system and users. In addition, to recognize the bare-hands which can be used as the interface between the digital and users, we make the low cost algorithm. Therefore this can be the interaction between the system and users. As a result, our proposed system can be used as a useful tool for various e-book or u-learning fields that requires high efficiency and much immersion.

This research surveyed college students in Korea on their satisfaction for e-book services provided by university libraries. Their usage behavior was investigated, and the satisfaction rate for e-book usage and its service quality were analyzed to comprehend the status of e-book usage. The analysis showed that overall satisfaction for e-book service of university libraries was 2.93 on average. Moreover, the more frequently a student used the service, the more satisfied the student was; junior/senior-level and graduate school student groups showed higher satisfaction for e-book service than freshman and sophomore students. The most influential factor for satisfaction based on the e-book service quality was the content of the service, followed by the library support service system. Based on the findings, reinforcement of library public relations and user education, and the maintenance of the variety and up-to-date status of the contents were proposed to stimulate future university library e-book services.

본 논문은 e-book으로 명명된 전자 원문자료(전자책)를 구조화하여 이용자 편의성을 극대화하는 방안을 연구하였다. 대상으로 특정 컨텐트(텍스트, 이미지, 아이콘 등)를 선택하는 경우 관련정보를 웹브라우저에 의해 웹사이트에서 제공할 수 있는 내용검색기반의 전자원문 고도화 방안 연구를 목적으로 하고 있다. 연구결과 전자원문 서비스체계, 전문정보(專門情報)의 분류체계 적용, 검색효율성 및 편리성을 증진시킨 인터페이스 등의 결과를 부품소재정보망(MCT-net)에 적용하였다. 또한 전자원문의 자동구축방안, 다양한 검색기능 강화방안, 효율적인 전자원문 관리방안을 모색하였다
