저온소결 (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 세라믹스의 분극전계에 따른 압전 및 유전특성 (Piezoelectric and Dielectric Properties of Low Temperature Sintering (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 Ceramics with the Variation of Poling Electric Field)

  • In this paper, the influences of poling electric field on piezoelectric properties of $0.95(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5})NbO_3$-$0.05Li(Sb_{0.8}Nb_{0.2})O_3$ (abbreviated as KNN-LSN) ceramics were investigated. The specimens was sintered at sintering temperature of $1050^{\circ}C$. They showed orthorhombic phase structure without secondary phase. Electromechanical coupling factor (kp), dielectric and piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) increased with poling electric field. However, mechanical quality factor (Qm) decreased. Take into account of poling conditions and piezoelectric properties of KNN-LSN ceramics, the optimum poling condition for KNN-LSN ceramics was poling electric field of 4.5 kV/mm. At the time, kp of 0.458, Qm of 43.97, $d_{33}$ of 278 pC/N, and dielectric constant of 1079 were shown, respectively.

  • In this study, in order to develop low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator, PZN-PZT ceramics were fabricated using $Li_2CO_3,\;Bi_2O_3$, CuO and ZnO as sintering aids, their structural, piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated according to the amount of ZnO addition, At the sintering temperature of $870^{\circ}C$, the density, electromechanical coupling factor(kp), mechanical quality factor(Qm), dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$) and piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) of 0.4 wt% ZnO added specimen (sintered at $870^{\circ}C$) showed the optimum value of $7.812g/cm^3$, 0.535, 916, 1399, 335 pC/N respectively. Taking into consideration above piezoelectric properties of the specimen sintered at low temperature, it was concluded that PZN-PZT ceramics using 0.4 wt% ZnO as additive showed the optimum characteristics as the composition ceramics for low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator application.

  • The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of Pb(Mn$\_$1/3/Nb$\_$2/3)O$_3$-Pb(Zr,Ti)O$_3$ceramics were investigated as a function of Zr/Ti ratio. Curie temperature was increased with the increase of Ti amount. At the Zr/Ti ratio of 0.495/0.505, dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling factor(kp) showed the maximum value of 1159 and 0.523 respectively.

  • In this study, to develop the low temperature sintering ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric transformer, PSN-PNN-PZT system ceramics were manufactured as a function of CuO addition. Its dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics were investigated. With increasing the amount of CuO addition, grain size was increased and density increased until 0.3wt% CuO. Taking into consideration electromechanical coupling factor(kp) of 0.53, mechanical quality factor(Qm) of 423 and ${\epsilon}r$ of 1759, it can be cincluded that the CuO 0.5wt% added composition sintered at $920^{\circ}C$ is suitable for piezoelectric transformer application if Qm is improved.

  • In this study piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-Pb(Zr,Ti)O_{3}$ ceramics were investigated with $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}$ substitution. As the $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}$ substitution was increased, dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling factor (kp) were increased while mechanical quality factor decreased.

  • In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering multilayer piezoelectric actuator, PMN-PNN-PZT system ceramics were fabricated using $Li_2CO_3-Bi_2O_3$-CuO as sintering aids and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated as a function of heating rate. At sintering temperature of $900^{\circ}C$, with increasing heating rate, electromechanical coupling factor(kp), mechanical quality factor(Qm) and dielectric constant $({\varepsilon}_r)$ were increased.

  • In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric actuator, sensers, transducers, PMN-PNN-PZT ceramics were manufacrtured with the sintering temperature, and their piezoelectric and dielectric properties were investigated. At the composition ceramics sintered at $900^{\circ}C$, desity, dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}_r)$, electromechanical coupling factor(kp), piezoelectric constant$(d_{33})$ and mechanical quality factor(Qm) showed the optimal value of $7.86g/cm^3$, 1417, 0.634, 410pC/N and 1138, respectively.

  • In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric actuator, 0.07Pb$(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-xPb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-(0.93-x)Pb(Zr,Ti)O_{3}$ ceramics system were fabricated using $Li_{2}CO_{3}-Bi_{2}O_{3}$-CuO sintering aids and the specimens were sintered at $930^{\circ}C$. Thereafter their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated with the amount of PNN substitution. At 9[mol%] PNN substitution, electromechanical coupling factor (kp), mechanical quality factor (Qm) and piezoelectric constant ($d_{33}$) showed the optimum value of 0.60, 1323 and 387pC/N, respectively.

  • Particle size and piezoelectric characteristics of PNW-PMN-PZT ceramics with the variations in attrition milling conditions were investigated for the piezoelectric transformer application. Particle size and distribution were decreased with increasing milling time. Dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}r$), electromechanical coupling factor (kp), mechanical quality factor (Qm) and density showed the optimum value of 1563, 0.53, 2342, 7.63, respectively at 7h milling time.
