  • In this paper, electrification pipe modeled on the oil path that insulating oil flow in the high power transformer is manufactured in order to prevent the accident cause from streaming electrification generated when insulating off flow at a solid-liquid interface, and the streaming current is measured and analyzed according to the shape of oil path in electrification pipe. From the result of this study, the streaming current increases linearly with increasing of a oil velocity and it increases at lower temperature and decreases at higher temperature than [$46^{\circ}C$]. The smoother the flow of insulating oil is the more the streaming current decreases.

  • The static charges are generated by streaming electrification phenomena when insulating oil flowing by force for the purpose of cooling at the internal of Ultra-high power transformer. In this thesis, their elimination method was studied. The falter represents a greet much electrification characteristics because falter has large interfaces with liquid. In this paper, the streaming-electrification phenomena of insulating oil by metal filter were measured by mesh number, oil flow rate, oil temperature and a kind of mesh and The effect of charge elimination by metal filter generated minus ion was measured.

  • The characteristic of streaming electrification and static charge diminution in Cu, Fe and Sus pipes were investigated. The Cu and Fe pipes are charged positively, whereas the Sus pipes are charged negatively. Electrification rate in Cu and Fe pipes increases with increasing a pipe length for no-charged insulating oil. The electrification rate in Cu and Fe pipes abruptly increase with increasing the temperature and flow rate of insulating oil but decrease in Sus pipes. The current flows as a direction of insulating oil in all pipes.

  • In this Paper, the streaming electrification of transformer oils generated at the interface of transformer oils and the AC breakdown with impurity is studied. The electrification current is measured by the electrometer connected the faraday cage. And a oil velocity is maintained equally. In case of the AC breakdown test, the temperature are 30[$^{\circ}C$], 50[$^{\circ}C$], 80[$^{\circ}C$] and 90[$^{\circ}C$], repetitively. As a result of breakdown experiment, the dielectric breakdown strength is decreased in low temperature region and is increased in high temperature region according to increase of contained sodium. In case of streaming electrification experiment, the streaming current is more increased with the specimen contained sodium than the original specimen.

  • In this paper, the streaming electrification phenomena of insulating oil by metal filters and the charge elimination method were investigated. When BTA and surfactant is molten in insulating oil, BTA appear the prevention of electrification from about 5ppm and surfactant (SP-S10, SP-S30) appear the prevention of electrification from about 20ppm. BTA increase the conductivity of insulating oil but surfactant and antioxidant(DBPC) isn't affect that.

  • The electrostatic is well known phenomena. The fires and explosions caused by electrostatic occur often in the coating mechanical system. This paper presents various cases of electrostatic hazards, reasons why electrostatic hazards are happened, and methods for preventing electrostatic hazards. Generally the electrostatic can be lead to corona discharging, streaming electrification, and impinging electrification in the coating process. Corona discharging happens at electrostatic spray gun with 70 kV. Streaming electrification occurs at mixing process between paint and thinner, and transportation process with thinner. Impinging electrification is shown when the thinner are sprayed to drums. For the purpose of preventing the electrostatic discharge and damage, conductors should be ground, surface electric potential of should be decreased in using electrostatic shielding and ground, and flow of thinner should be controlled acceptable velocity.

  • This paper studied the streaming electrification with the spinning cylinder system, and compared and analyzed it with the conventional forced flowing system which used a pump or gas for oil flowing As results, in spinning cylinder system, characteristics of the streaming electrification to its rotational speed and oil temperature are same tendency as those of the forced flowing system and it showed the spinning cylinder system is useful to study the streaming electrification. The spinning cylinder system has a simple mechanical structure and needs smaller amount of insulation oil than the conventional forced flowing system and the ef fects of various materials on the streaming electrification could be investigated more conveniently than other methods.

  • Phenomena of streaming electrification of insulting oil(T.O) is studied where the oil is contacted with solid insulating materials when it is pumped through a circulating system in a large power transformer. The leakage current, the electrical potential at the neutral terminal point of the transformer and the surface electrical potential of the oil are investigated. And the leakage current from the neutral terminal point is measured as a function of a bias polarity applied to a transformer case to investigate the polarty of ion which is absorbed in the case at the interface between the case and oil. As a result, it is found that insulating materials, and it is suggested that the leakage current is the sum of the relaxation current by positive charge from insulating oil to the neutral terminal point and by electrification current from negative charge electrified by the contact with solid insulating materials.
