Effects of Kigong Theraphy in Cocentration of Catecholamines and Cortisol and some Tests on Testing-Stressed (기공외기요법(氣功外氣療法)의 항(抗) 스트레스 효과(效果) 연구(硏究))

  • To investigate anti-stress effects of Manual Kigong, Manual-Apparatus Combined Kikong, and Systemic Kigong, this experiments were performed changing of plasma catecholaminess and serum cortisol measured. Also using D.I.T.I(Digital Infrared Thermongraphy Imaging), Pulse Analyzer, Electric Current on Neurometer, and Digital Flicker on Testing-Stressed. And following results were abtained. 1) Menual-Appartus Combined Kikong decreased significantly increasing concentration of plasma epinephrine and norepinephrine level in Testing-stressed. 2) Manual Kigong decreased increasing concentration of serum cortisol level in Testing-stressed. 3) Manual Kigong and Manual-Aparatues Combined Kikong increased decreasing thermomerty on the palm's center caused Testing-stressed. 4) All of three treats are small change in SET(Systolic Ejection Time) by Pulse Analyzer caused Testing-stressed. 5) More changes of Electric Current on the Neurometer Diagnosis caused Testing-stressed are as followed. Manual-Apparatus Combined Kikong >Systemic Kigong >Manual Kigong From the results, it may be concluded that Manual-Apparatus Combined Kikong Theraphy having more anti-stress effects than Manual Theraphy.   • In this paper, we intend to develop optimized design algorithm by deciding design parameters which are considered in the first design stage of inkjet printer head. thus, the parameters are such as electric pulse, input voltage of actuator to operate actuator, shape dimension of actuator an so on. in the first design stage, according to such parameters, a lot of time and money to develop inkject printer head are needed. to reduce trial and error and to save development time in the first design stage, optimized design algorithm is required all the more. design algorithm was developed via commercial FE analysis code(ANSYS & COENTOR) for the readability and convenience of algorithm. the reasonability of algorithm was verified by implementing analysis of system stage based on the data of piezoelectric actuator which was designed through algorithm.

  • This paper presents the modeling and analysis of dynamic characteristics of hydraulic snubber in electric power plant. The nonlinear state-space model of 14th order to describe the dynamics of the snubber was established by Simulink. The simulation results show that the hydraulic snubber reacts as like the conventional shock absorbers against the high pulse shock load. The snubber also shows the peculiar characteristics to the small step load, which temporarily lock the control valves up, however maintain same steady-state pressures of all internal chambers in the long run. Two case studies for the analysis of the snubber were addressed. Practical pulse testing method was also proposed to identify the frequency response characteristics of the snubber.

  • This paper deals with the difference of the static and kinetic thrust characteristics of a linear pulse motor(LPM) without and with feedback control for a total artificial heart(TAH). In general, the kinetic thrust of LPM without feedback control decreases as increasing the mover velocity. The kinetic thrust characteristics of the LPM with feedback control are improved approximately 30% as compared with the LPM without feedback control in the high velocity range.

  • The non-thermal pasteurization of foods using High Voltage High Current Pulsed Electric Fields (HVHC-PEF) is a promising technology and a sound complement or replacement to traditional thermal pasteurization. The conventional thermal method also inactivates bacteria and other microorganisms harmful to humans, but degrades natural color, flavor, texture and nutrients. At this point, a nonthermal pasteurization technique, HVPEF is thought to be a new processing technique which is able to produce a good quality foods nutritional as well as sensuous. In this paper, the system for HVHC-PEF pasteurization is presented. It use square wave pulse instead of exponential ones. So, power rating of system is reduced considerably. Design considerations for 20kV 500A class equipment are analyzed and experimental results are discussed.

  • This paper looks into the field inside the wide rectangular box structure that is excited by the High Power Electromagnetic(HPEM) source as a potential threat to electric grid and communication networks causing malfunction or destruction. The rectangular box is assumed power/ground planes and its internal field is calculated by the cavity model with the lightning strike excitation as an HPEM pulse. The accuracy of the calculation method employed here is validated through a $156mm{\times}106mm{\times}508{\mu}m$ parallel metallic plate case which is manufactured and tested, and is applied to the size of a building. With the help of the cavity model that takes into account loading, the level of the electric field is shown to decrease when a metal pillar is loaded between the power and ground planes.

  • This paper describes the method of position error reduction in Linear Pulse Motor (LPM). Though the micro step exiting method is applied, the vibration and position error caused by trust distortion from mechanism still remains. This paper presents the method for reduction of position error on moving the mover at whole cycle, by compensating a scale factor through real-time control of the PWM pulse width corresponding to exiting current command and absolute position error from linear encoder.

  • The characteristics of a PZT transducer with a cylindrical rear surface were investigated theoretically and experimentally. The transducer was assumed as a set of finite rectangular ceramic elements for applying the staircase model to the theoretical analysis and the KLM equivalent circuit model was modified for analyzing its electric impedance and pulse-echo response. All results were compared with those of a conventional plane transducer which has a constant thickness of average value for the cylindrical arc. It was noted that the transducer with a cylindrical rear surface has several subsidiary resonant frequencies which are able to widen bandwidth.

  • In this paper, we presented a new algebraic iterative algorithm for the optimal control of the nonlinear systems. The algorithm is based on tow steps. The first step transforms optimal control problem into a sequence of linear optimal control problem using the quasilinearization method. In the second step, TPB(two point boundary condition problem) is solved by algebraic equations instead of differential equations using BPF(block pulse functions). The proposed algorithm is simple and efficient in computation for the optimal control of nonlinear systems. In computer simulation, the algorithm was verified through the optimal control design of Van del pole system and Volterra Predatory-prey system.

  • We have been investigated phase-change with temperature and electric field in chalcogenide Ge$_2$Sb$_2$Te$\sub$5/ thin film. T$\sub$c/(crystallization temperature) is confirmed by measuring the resistance with the varying temperature on the hotplate. We have measured I-V characteristics with Ge$_2$Sb$_2$Te$\sub$5/ chalcogenide thin film. It is compared with I-V characteristics after impress the variable pulse. The pulse has variable height and duration.
