Temporal Analysis of Opinion Manipulation Tactics in Online Communities (온라인 공간에서 비정상 정보 유포 기법의 시간에 따른 변화 분석)

  • Online communities, such as Internet portal sites and social media, have become popular since they allow users to share opinions and to obtain information anytime, anywhere. Accordingly, an increasing number of opinions are manipulated to the advantage of particular groups or individuals, and these opinions include falsified product reviews and political propaganda. Existing detection systems are built upon the characteristics of manipulated opinions for one particular time period. However, manipulation tactics change over time to evade detection systems and to more efficiently spread information, so detection systems should also evolve according to the changes. We therefore propose a system that helps observe and trace changes in manipulation tactics. This system classifies opinions into clusters that represent different tactics, and changes in these clusters reveal evolving tactics. We evaluated the system with over a million opinions collected during three election campaigns and found various changes in (i) the times when manipulations frequently occur, (ii) the methods to manipulate recommendation counts, and (iii) the use of multiple user IDs. We suggest that the operators of online communities perform regular audits with the proposed system to identify evolutions and to adjust detection systems.

Secondary electron emission characteristics of a thermally grown $SiO_2$ thin layer (건식 열산화로 성장시킨 $SiO_2$박막의 이차전자 방출 특성)

  • The secondary election emission (SEE) yields for the thermally grown $SiO_2$ thin layers were measured by varying the thickness of the $SiO_2$ layer and the primary current. $SiO_2$ thin layers were thermally grown in a furnace at $930^{\circ}C$, whose thickness varied to be 5.8 nm, 19 nm, 43 nm, 79 nm, 95 nm, and 114 nm. When the $SiO_2$ layers were thinner than 43 nm, it was found that SEE curves followed the universal curve. However, for samples with a $SiO_2$ layer thicker than 79 nm, the SEE curves exhibited two maxima and the values of SEE yields were reduced. Additionally, as the current of primary electrons increased, the SEE yields were reduced. In this experiment, the maximum value of the SEE yield for $SiO_2$ layers was obtained to be 3.35 when the thickness of $SiO_2$ layer was 19 nm, with the primary electron energy 300 eV and the primary electron current 0.97 $\mu\textrm{A}$. The penetration and escape depth of an electron in the $SiO_2$ layers were calculated at the primary electron energy for the maximum value of the SEE yield and from these depths, it was calculated that the thickness of the $SiO_2$layer.

Reproducibility of non-invasive measurement for left ventricular contractility using gated myocardial SPECT (게이트 심근 SPECT를 이용한 비침습적 심실 수축력 측정방법의 재현성)

  • Purpose: We tried to establish the reproducibility of the measurement of maximal elastance (Emax) and to compare the degree of the reproducibility of two estimation methods: single pressure-volume loop method and parameter optimization method. Materials and methods: In 47 patients (42 males and 5 females, $53{\pm}10$ years old) with suspected coronary artery disease (election fraction; 22-68%), gated Tc-99m MIBI myocardial SPECT and arterial tonometry were acquired. In 11 patients among these 47 patients, gated SPECT and tonometry were performed twice consecutively with patients in situ. Emax and void volume (Vo) were estimated using single pressure-volume loop method of Lee and parameter optimization method based on linear approximation of Yoshizawa. Correlation between the consecutive measurements by each method and correlation between the two estimation methods were compared. Results: Reproducibility of Emax (r=0.96) and Vo (r=0.99) by single pressure-volume method was better than the reproducibility of Emax (r=0.89) and Vo (r=0.64) by parameter optimization method. Correlations of Emax and Vo were fair between the two methods. The correlation of Emax (r=0.77) was better than that of Vo (r=0.55). Conclusion: Reproducibility of Emax measurement by single pressure-volume loop method using gated myocardial SPECT and arterial tonometry was excellent. Reproducibility by parameter optimization method was also fair but was less than that achieved by single pressure-volume method.

  • The button is a part of costume. But it has the symbolism of costume in itself and reflects the sociocultural phenomena. The purpose of this study is to clarify symbolism of button of eighteenth and nineteenth century which had been most popular. This study is based on the library research. Through this paper, I reached conclusions as follows. The symbolism of button is found in various ways. First, Aesthetics is found in material, color, design and type etc. of button. Especially Indian silver button of abstract type shows well distinctive aesthetics of Indians. Second, The material and the number of button vary with one's status and show off one's privilege. I England, there was the rule, in which the symbol of the King was a silver button with a figure of lion. The livery button represents his family to the nble and shows the meaning of obedience to the servant. Third, The button on uniform varies with ranks. This is prominent in a uniform of a soldier or a policeman. Fourth Material and craft of button show one's economic position. The button gives a Very good picture of what one's life was then. Precious button with gold, silver, and other jewels is an index to one's property. Fifth, The button of political event is used for election, which shows the face and the name of runner. Besides that, there were buttons designed for the flag or the slogan for political event. Sixth, The button of social event reflects a social phase of life in war or revolution, for example, it satirizes the burning of the Bastille in the French Revolution, or the taxpayer bearing the burden. Seventh, the buttons that symbolize a historic event are made to commemorante an epochal and critical occurrence or an important person's birth, death, visit to some place, etc., Eighth, there were well-known persons, for example, a president, a king, a queen, a singer, or an artist in the buton of personality. Nineth, The button of one's company shows one's community in figures or pictures, that is, this button is used as a symbol one's community. Tenth, The button varies with the development of science and technology. It gives a very good picture of what it was and what the technological level was. Eleventh, The buttons that symmbolize on occupation most impressively are uniform buttons. Symbolic marks related with a particular occupation are carved on the buttons of compary employees' uniforms. Twelfth, Various natural phenomena are designed to appear on buttons, Some express themselves simply as they are, and others appear as a symbolic form such as environmental relationship between men and nature, four seasons, a constellation and all other natural things occurring during a year. Finally, The button of rebus is a motto expressed by a combination with objects figures, letters, words, or phrases.

Brand Identity and Architecture of the 4 Comprehensive Programming Channels (종합편성채널의 브랜드 정체성와 브랜드 체계)

  • This research aims to analyze the characteristics of the channel brand components, identities in accordance with the organizational strategies of the programmes, and brand structures of the comprehensive programming channels. The channels promote themselves mobilizing a variety of channel brand components and, ecxept Channel A, JTBC, TV Chosun, and MBN coined its names which are reminiscent of their parents corporations. The organizational strategies of the programmes are related with the channel identities. TV Chosun, for instance, branded themselves as 'conservative advocate' while focusing on news programs, and Channel A also takes conservative bias strategy focusing on the news programmes, especially after the 2012 presidential election. JTBC, however, organizes drama and entertainment programmes intensively being equivalent to that of terrestrial broadcasting programmes, and MBN positioned neutral and center with the news and cultural programmes. Referring to the brand architecture, which reveals the structural system of the brand, it is argued that TV Chosun and MBN take the integrated corporate brand strategy, while JTBC tries to mix and balance the brands of the parent corporation and its own independent one. Channel A, exceptionally, doesn't take a name of its parent corporation 'Dong-A'. In conclusion, it is argued that the comprehensive programming channels utilize and take the parent corporate brand, mixed brand, and independent brand in accordance with the brand power and circumstances of their own parent corporates.

  • Busan-port is world's fifth trading port and is playing an important role in medium of revenue expansion and civic growth of Busan metropolitan city. Therefore, Busan metropolitan city aims at establishment of maritime special city with sailing of popular election third times. But this sort of goal can be accomplished when job satisfaction of port's personnel concerned is elevated. So, the object of this study is to research on job satisfaction of Busan-port pier management corporation's employee. Through the examination of preceding studies, duty contents promotion remuneration control sense of responsibility colleague relation guarantee job office quantity working environment. tenure of office sex age education are used as factors of job satisfaction. The finding of this study are as follows; First, promotion and remuneration exert significant influence upon job satisfaction. Second, the job satisfaction of Busan-port Pier Management Corporation's Employee is pretty low.

  • Ramyeon is a wheat-food that has been mixed a dietary culture of China, Japan, American and Korea. Simultaneously it was the first convenience food that made of flour in Korea, which had been relatively few recipes until the early 1960's. To examine the changes of Ramyeon which has been consumed in large quantities since the late 1960s, this paper classified 1963~2012 into 6 periods. From political, economic, social, cultural and international perspectives we considered the changes of Ramyeon through the articles analysis of mass media(DongaIlbo, The KyunghyangShinmun, MBC news). The total number of articles was 3,823 with an average of 76.46/y. Each field was summarized as following sub-topics; In political(Election, North Korea), in economic(Price, Economy), in social(Promotion campaign for eating of flour, Incidents, Donation), in cultural(Consumption, Extreme situations, Nutrition) and in international field(Exporting). Each period was named according to the feature; Early stage, Expansion stage, Domestic growth stage, Overseas stage, Advanced stage, Transition stage. Ramyeon has changed in a closely relation with society for past 50 years.

A Study on the Improving Fiscal Capability of Local Government -Focusing on the case of zeroing debt policy in Yong-in city (지방정부 재정역량 제고에 관한 사례 연구 -용인시 채무제로화 정책을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze debt zeroing policy process of Yong-in city based on the Kingdon's Multiple Stream Framework in order to contribute to strengthening financial capacity and competitiveness of local governments. This study focused on the Yong-in case because the city had a local debt of about KRW 800 billion as of 2012, but it completed the debt repayment in early 2017. The results are as follows. First, policy problem streams are the perception of Yongin City's debt indicator, the failure of the LRT project, and the failure of sale of buildinglots of Yukbuk district. Second, in the political stream, there have been the election of new governors, cooperation of local administration and citizens like budget cut. Third, policy alternative streams are the reduction of large-scale investment projects, the expansion of revenues through the sale of idle shared properties, the increase of tax revenues, and the activation of light rail. As the each streams flowed independently, the window of policy change opened by the revitalization of the real estate market and the sale of buildinglots of Yukbuk distric and combined with other policy factors such as the activation of the light rail. In this process, the role of the policy entrepreneurs such as negotiation and persuasion of the related institutions influenced achieving tight fiscal policy. As a result of this policy output, Yongin City achieved zero debt. This study suggests that it is necessary not only the importance of the role of policy entrepreneurs but also of the administrative and citizen cooperation and the institutional complement such as a large scale of the investment review system.

Physicochemical Properties of Chufa (Cyperus esculentus L., var sativus Boeck) Starch (기름골 전분의 이화학적 특성)

  • Physicochemical properties of chufa starch were investigated The result are summarized as follow: Moisture content crude protein and crude fat were 10.10%, 0.31% and 0.41,% respectively. Amylose content of chufa starch was 41.6% and blue value was 0.49. Lightness and whiteness of chufa starch was 96.36 and 92.23 of Hunter's color value. In iodine reaction, maximum absorbance wavelength (${\lambda}max$) was 628 nm. Water binding capacity was 83% and swelling power and solubility of chufa starch were increased slowly to $60^{\circ}C$, but increased rapidly after $60^{\circ}C$. Scanning election microscope(SEM) showed that granule type of chufa starch was round or elliptic type, and average granule size was $10{\mu}m$. The results by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) revealed that gelatinization patterns were similar to those of potato or rice starch. In rapid viscoanalyzer(RVA) examination, pasting temperature was $79.95^{\circ}C$ and peak viscosity of chufa starch was 385.08.

Quality Characteristics of Sulgidduk (a Traditional Korean Rice Cake) Admixed with Cheese Powder (치즈가루 첨가량을 달리한 설기떡의 품질특성)

  • We explored the quality characteristics of Sulgidduk prepared using different amounts of cheese powder (0%, 6%, 12%, 18%, 24%; all w/w); physico-chemical properties were determined. Proximate composition analysis showed that the moisture content of Sulgidduk decreased with a rise in the level of added cheese powder. Lightness and yellowness values were lowest in control Sulgidduk and highest in Sulgidduk with 24% added cheese powder. Texture profile analysis showed that all of hardness, cohesiveness, springiness, and brittleness increased with a rise in cheese powder level. Scanning election microscopy indicated that the number of air cells fell as the ratio of cheese powder to rice powder increased. Sensory evaluation tests indicated that color, cheese smell, and greasiness rose as the cheese powder level increased, whereas softness and moistness fell. Consumer acceptance testing showed no significant difference in overall acceptability scores among samples. In conclusion, we suggest that cheese powder may be incorporated into Sulgidduk without affecting sensory qualities.
