This study aims to analyze the acceptance factors for expanding the adoption of AI by SMEs and draw practical and policy implications. To this, we conducted an empirical analysis of AI acceptance factors among 315 SMEs in various industries such as manufacturing, service, and information and communication sectors located in Korea. Based on the UTAUT, we examined the influence of decision-making reliability, perceived awareness, policy support, education and training, perceived cost, perceived risk, and system complexity, and found that decision-making reliability positively affects performance expectancy and social influence, perceived awareness positively affects performance expectancy and effort expectancy, policy support positively affects social influence and facilitating conditions, and education and training positively affects effort expectancy and facilitating conditions. Perceived cost had a negative effect on social influence and facilitating conditions, and perceived risk had a negative effect on performance expectancy and social influence. System complexity had a negative effect on effort expectancy but no effect on facilitating conditions. These results are expected to be widely utilized as basic research for the diffusion of AI in industry and provide practical and policy implications for promoting the adoption of AI in SMEs.
Despite that QR codes are spreading worldwide in Pin Tech, logistics distribution, etc., South Korea is staying at the level of using QR codes in limited areas such as website connection and marketing communication. The purpose of this study is to propose measures for more effective use of QR codes by examining the effects of personal innovativeness on user's behavioral intentions by applying personal innovativeness to QR codes. To this end, this study was intended to examine the relationships between performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social expectancy (SE), and personal innovativeness, which are variables used in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model among innovative technology acceptance models, and behavioral intentions. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted with students in collages in the metropolitan area in May 2018 and the results were statistically verified using IBM SPSS 21. The results showed that PE, EE, and SE had significant positive(+) effects on personal innovativeness and behavioral intentions of QR code users. The mediating effects of personal innovativeness were tested and the results indicated that personal innovativeness partially mediates between PE and behavioral intentions and between EE and behavioral intentions but not between SE and behavioral intentions. The fact that since QR codes are expressed as a component to users through other media rather than its internal factors, the personal innovativeness of QR code users plays an important role in increasing the use of QR codes could be identified through this study.

This study empirically investigates the factors influencing the intention to accept mobile technology in Saudi healthcare service delivery using the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model (UTAUT) with perceived reliability and price value. Accordingly, a conceptual model combining behavioral constructs with those linked to the technology acceptance model is developed. This model aims to identify factors that predict patients' acceptance of mobile technology healthcare service delivery. The developed model is examined using responses obtained from a survey on 545 participants receiving healthcare services in Saudi Arabia. Thus, we have conceptualized the developed model and validated seven hypotheses involving key constructs. Results suggest that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, price value, and perceived reliability are direct predictors of user behavior to accept mobile technology in healthcare service delivery. The results provide empirical evidence to the literature on the effect of facilitating conditions and effort expectancy on mobile health (mHealth) adoption. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased the adoption of mHealth services in Saudi Arabia.

Mobile devices have become attractive learning devices for education. The digitalization of the higher education system in Sri Lanka by 2020 is part of the government's effort to modernize and enhance the country's overall education system particularly in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Theoretically, this study contributes to the M-Learning model in higher education institutions via the integration of literature on technology adoption (TAM and UTAUT) with the variables of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Condition. The attitude towards M-Learning amongst higher education students was gauged via an online questionnaire survey. The convenience sample comprised 344 students from the Advanced Technological Institutes (ATI) in Batticaloa District, Sri Lanka. Descriptive statistics, a measurement, and structural model, and hypotheses testing were used to analyze the derived data. The findings indicate that mobile learning is significantly affected by perceived ease of use, social influence, effort expectancy, and facilitating condition, but negatively affected by attitude and perceived usefulness. The exhaustive literature review revealed that there are very few M-Learning studies related to digital learning in the context of higher education in the Batticaloa district.

Uganda is a country blessed with the biggest number of mountain Gorillas in the whole world. These animals contribute at least 12% in revenue generation to the Tourism sector through tracking by both local and foreign tourists who pay for the tracking permits. However, Gorilla tracking is also a big challenge even in the presence of highly skilled and well-trained game rangers. Development and implementation of a secure Computer and Mobile based Gorilla Tracking (GT) system that uses GIS and GPS technologies would be the most ideal technology to use. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the critical factors that would affect the Behavioral Intention of the would-be users to successfully decide to use such GIS/GPS-GT system. We used the existing UTAUT model to integrate six factors such as Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Employee Peer Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Behavioral Intention and System Use. However, Infrastructure Availability and Non-Technical Facilitating Conditions were added to reflect Ugandan ICT context. This amended UTAUT model was used to carry out the survey. The questionnaire was emailed to 220 government employees in the fields of ICT, Tour and Travel, Environmental Groups officials and Farmers who garden near the game reserves. A total of 133 were obtained fully completed, whereas 127 were deemed usable thus yielding a response rate of 58%. The analysis results show that except for non-technical facilitating conditions, effort expectancy, peer influence, performance expectancy and infrastructure availability positively affects behavioral Intention to use GIS/GPS-GT. This indicates that people in Uganda don't bother about regulations and rules in regard to using information system. As long as the system does what they want it to, anything else does not matter. As an employee in an organization is told to use a system by their supervisor, they have no objection to otherwise they risk losing their job. This implies that, supervisors have a great responsibility in the process of developing, implementing and using the system in Uganda.
The introduction of smartphone caused the most revolutionary change in the domestic telecommunications market after the digital revolution. However, due to the saturation of the local market, it is expected to post negative growth in 2016 and the sales of national communication carriers is in stasis. Thus, the smartphone industry is starting to shift its marketing efforts to secure the silver generation who still has room for increase in the rate of smartphone usage. As the silver generation has physical limitations and differences in needs, the marketing strategy based on the smartphone utilization is not appropriate. This study suggests the new silver generation, who has high income level and similar characteristics to the younger generation, as the new customer segment for smartphone. We analyze the effects of the major variables of UTAUT on smartphone use, as well as examine how these relationships differ between the new silver and the net generation. We verified the hypotheses using a survey with 309 smartphone users. The research findings supported the hypotheses regarding the effects of performance expectancy, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions on smartphone use, but did not support the hypothesis on the effect of social influence. The result of the group comparisons showed that both generation have similar characteristics on innovativeness and cognitive absorption, but the moderating effect of age on performance expectancy, effort expectancy and use is stronger in conjunction with the new silver generation. The study results are expected to be used in establishing a marketing strategy for the new silver generation.
This study aimed to analyze the degree of consumers' expectations for their performance and efforts in using overseas direct purchase, impact of overseas direct purchase on the society, and effect of price value to their intention to use overseas direct purchase in the future. In addition, the significance of overseas direct purchase on the user-perceived availability is empirically analyzed. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and price value showed significantly positive effect on the intention to use overseas direct purchase in the future. With respect to the perceived availability in using overseas direct purchase, it was found out that effort expectancy and price value had significantly positive effect; however, it appeared that performance expectancy and social influence had no significant effect on the perceived availability of the users.

Information technology and the need for timely and effective communication during the Covid-19 have made most governments adopt technological approaches to provide their services. E-government services have been adopted by most governments especially in developed countries to quickly and effectively share information. This study discusses the reasons why governments in the Gulf region should develop a new model for information technology knowledge management practices. To achieve this, the author identified possible benefits of adopting information technology knowledge management practices and why most governments in the Gulf find it hard to adopt them. Knowledge management allows for learning, transfer as well as sharing of information between government organizations and citizens and with the development of technology, the effectiveness of electronic services can easily be achieved. Also, effective adoption of information technology can improve knowledge management with the help of techniques that enhance capture, storage, retrieval as well as sharing of information. The author used systematic literature review to select 28 journals and articles published post 2019. IEEE, Google Scholar and Science Direct were used to select potential studies from which 722 journals and articles were selected. Through screening and eligibility assessment, 21 articles were retained while the back and forward search had 7 more articles which were also included in the study. Using information gathered from these articles and journals a new conceptual model was developed to help improve information technology knowledge management for governments in the Gulf region to effectively deliver e-services during Covid-19. This model was developed based on the process of KM, Theory of Planned Behavior and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. Based on the developed model. From UTAUT model, performance expectancy, effort expectancy as well as social influence had a great impact.
This study analyzed the factors that influence the domestic SMEs that have introduced smart factories on their intention to accept at a higher level for qualitative advancement. 375 copies collected through an online survey were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS with UTAUT and the extended two-stage information system continuous model. Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions have a statistically significant effect on user satisfaction and user satisfaction and CEO's will have an effect on the intention to accept the advancement. However, the suppliers' technology didn't have a direct effect on the advancement acceptance intention and user satisfaction has a mediating effect between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and the advancement acceptance intention. SME's advancement for smart factory, it is important to improve the satisfaction level and the CEO's will to become smart.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and examine the factors influencing customer satisfaction and subscription intention in order to propose useful implication regarding subscription economy model. Methods: This study adopts the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model (UTAUT2) as the theoretical framework. On the basis of literature review, this study suggested 9 related hypothesis. To examine the hypothesis proposed, the study designed surveys with 32 questions and 456 answers were collected for the analysis. The study adopted a structural equation model and path analysis, using AMOS and SPSS programs. Results: The results of this study are as follow: All hypothesis except performance expectancy and effort expectancy have significant influence on customer satisfaction. Performance expectancy and effort expectancy have no significant influence on customer satisfaction and facilitate condition is significant but negatively associated with customer satisfaction. Conclusion: Result of this study is expected to suggest data regarding subscription economy and customer satisfaction for business with subscription model. In detail the result implies that highly sophisticated curation system would create more customer satisfaction and subscription intention rather than how a subscription-based platform is easily used. Moreover, curation system of subsription-based music platform should function with high accuracy on recommendation in a creative visual form in order to gain comparative advantage while most platforms have built own curation service.
