Smart home and artificial intelligence technologies are developing rapidly, and various smart home systems associated with artificial intelligence (AI) improved the quality of living for people. In the present research, we examine the role of individuals' motivational system in their responses to the application of AI in smart homes. In particular, this research focuses on individuals' prevention motivational system and investigates whether individuals' attitudes toward the application of AI in smart homes differ according to their level of prevention motivation. Specifically, it is hypothesized that individuals with strong (vs. weak) prevention motivation will have more favorable attitudes toward the application of AI in smart homes. Consistent with the hypothesis, the results reveal that the respondents in the strong (vs. weak) prevention motivation reported significantly more favorable attitudes toward the six types of AI-based application in smart homes (e.g., AIbased AR/VR games, AI pet care system, AI robots, etc.). Our findings suggest that individuals' prevention motivational system may be an effective market segmentation tool in facilitating their positive responses to the application of AI in smart homes.
The purpose of the study is to verify whether literature therapy program for prevention of smartphone addiction is effective for adolescents. The subjects of this study were 150 students of J City, K middle school. After completing the program, they were conducted post-test for both the experimental and control groups. The study found that the program was effective in mitigating smartphone addiction but not in reducing the directed life problem. It was also found to be effective in reducing tolerance and loss of control and problems of withdrawal and emotional experience. The study suggests that institutional arrangements are needed for linking with related organizations in the region because it is difficult to effectively prevent the increasing problem of smartphone addiction unless an adolescents program for youth is linked to the school. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct parent education for prevention of smartphone addiction in computer curriculum of school subjects.

Objectives: To analyze the characteristics of smoking prevention programs for the adolescent, and to synthesize the common effect sizes on smoking prevention programs for the adolescent. Methods: Seventeen studies for meta-analysis were selected from dissertations, these, and papers that had been published from 1996 to 2005 and had a randomized or nonequivalent control group in a pre test-post test design. The analysis of the data was computed by using the meta-analysis software package developed by Song(2003). Results: Smoking prevention programs for the adolescent have resulted in a significant effect size on smoking-knowledge( .62), smoking-attitude( .55) of smoking prevention programs for the adolescent showed more than 'medium effect' size. In smoking-knowledge and amount of smoking, the effect size was smoking-attitudes, the effect size was large in the studies which consists of more than 10 sessions of intervention. Conclusion: From the above results, we notice that the smoking prevention programs for the adolescent were effective in increasing the smoking-knowledge, smoking-attitudes, and the intention of smoking-cessation.

A total of 279 parents with four- and five-year-old day care children participated in this study. The following are the main results of this study. Background: Oral cancer is the most common cancer among men and second only to breast cancer among women in Pakistan. For the effective control and prevention of oral cancer, Pakistan needs to recognize the importance of research and generation of the evidence-base which can inform policy making and planning and implementation of intervention programs. The objective of this review was to quantify oral cancer research output in Pakistan. Materials and Methods: A systematic electronic search in "Medline", "ISI-Web of Science" and "Pakmedinet", supplemented by a Google search, was carried out in January and February, 2014, to identify literature from Pakistan relevant to oral cancer. The selection of publications for the review was carried out according to preset criteria. Data were recorded and analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Results: A total of 166 publications comprising 62 case series, 36 cross sectional, 31 case control, 10 basic laboratory research, eleven reviews and two trials, were included in this review. Some 35 % of the publications focused on risk factors for oral cancer. COMSATS Institute of Information Technology was the institution with the highest contribution. Conclusions: There is a lack of research in the field of oral cancer research in Pakistan. Focused efforts should be put in place to improve both quality and quantity of oral cancer research in the country.

The effects of the program were analyzed using dating violence awareness, sex role, anger and aggression. Collected data was analyzed using SPSS 19.0. Result: We posted the results on our website (http://www.stopviolence.co.kr) to complete our web-based dating violence prevention program. The program was conducted as group education on a small scale for 90 minutes per session during 8 sessions in total. The Web-based dating violence prevention program was effective in increasing awareness of middle school students on the dating violence, changing sex role attitudes positively, and decreasing anger and aggression in trouble situations. Conclusion: We strongly recommend using this web-based dating violence prevention program to prevent dating violence.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the educational satisfaction of trainees in implementing violence prevention education by workers in the emergency room and insufficient education. Methods: The participants of the study were 65 emergency room employees in S area. Results: First, education was helpful if you actively participated in education, and if you did not actively participate in education, education was shown to be of little or no help (χ2(p)= .000 p-value<.05). Second, formal education (53.3%) was identified as the problem of preventive education currently in place of education, and statistics show that the biggest problem with applying emergency room violence prevention education at worksites is a lack of active support (41.7%) from the police and hospitals. Third, 48.3 percent of the respondents thought that the education methods invited experts were appropriate for emergency room violence prevention education. Conclusion: The problem with the current emergency room violence prevention education is that it is necessary to establish a connection program between hospitals and police stations and give lectures by experts in violence prevention education to apply the contents of the educational curriculum in the workplace with one time and formal education.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors affecting COVID-19 infection prevention behaviors among teachers and administrative staff of elementary schools. Methods: A total of 204 participants, who were elementary school teachers and administrative staff, completed a pack of self-report questionnaires. The variables were COVID-19-related knowledge and COVID-19 infection prevention behaviors. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, 𝑥2, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results: The participants' COVID-19-related knowledge was 3.67±0.85 and their COVID-19 prevention behaviors were 4.60±0.36. COVID-19 prevention behaviors had a positive relationship (r=.15, p=.031) with COVID-19-related knowledge. Factors affecting COVID-19 prevention behaviors were occupation (administrative staff), age, sex (male), COVID-19-related knowledge, and subjective health (good). Conclusion: It is expected that findings of the study will be used as essential data for developing strategies promoting school health. Considering the results, there is a need to create effective interventions that can increase COVID-19 infection prevention behaviors and COVID-19-related knowledge of teachers and administrative staff of elementary schools.
