비전통 위협에 대한 국방 업무수행체계 유지방안 (감염병 위협 중심으로) (Consideration for defense preparedness against non-traditional security threats (focused on the threat of infectious diseases))

  • 국방은 감염병과 같은 비전통 위협에 대한 직·간접적인 영향에서도 중단없는 의사결정 업무 수행이 필요하다. 모든 업무는 정보시스템을 활용하기에 정보시스템의 가용성을 보장하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 특히, 국방업무는 보안관리 측면에서 네트워크를 국방망과 상용인터넷망으로 이원화하여 수행되고 있다. 본 연구는 효과적인 국방정보체계 운용을 통해서 인터넷에서 수행되는 업무의 효율성과 보안의 효과성을 고려한 업무수행 방안을 제시하였다. 국방망과 상용인터넷이 연결되는 네트워크 접점을 최소화하고 다양한 업무 중 우선순위가 높은 것을 선정하여 효율적으로 운용하는 방안이 필요하디. 이를 위해 A기관을 대상으로 실제 사례를 조사하고 특성을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 국방업무의 효과성을 향상하고 보안성을 보장하기 위한 대상 업무와 운용방안을 통해 감염병과 같은 비전통 위협에서도 업무수행의 가용성을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 정해진 시간 내에 프레임을 전송해야 하는 텔레메트리 시스템에 적용하기 위한 실시간 운영체제 기반의 PCM 엔코더를 제안한다. 대형 비행체의 경우 각 센서 및 주변장치로부터 많은 상태 정보들을 계측하므로 시스템의 복잡성이 높아지는 추세이다. 또한 계측 데이터가 많아지면서 정해진 시간 내에 프레임을 전송하기 위한 PCM 엔코더의 역할이 중요해지고 있다. 기존 일반적인 엔코더는 규격이 변경되거나, 추가 기능 구현 시 유연성이 떨어지므로 이를 보완하기 위한 설계가 필요하다. 이에 작은 임베디드 소프트웨어에 탑재가 가능한 실시간 운영체제인 uC/OS-II를 적용한 PCM 엔코더 설계를 제안한다. 또한, 타당성을 확인하기 위해 태스크의 실행시간을 측정하는 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 성능을 확인하였다.

최소운송비용의 선형계획모형을 통한 K-LandBridge의 타당성 연구 (A Feasibility Study of the K-LandBridge through a Linear Programming Model of Minimum Transport Costs)

  • 최근 중국은 일대일로 국가전략을 표방하고 이를 세부적으로 실행함과 동시에 세부계획 등을 지속적으로 수정보완 중에 있다. 그러나 우리나라를 포함한 한반도는 여기에 전혀 포함되지 못한 채로 우리나라 주도의 독자 국제물류정책들을 남발하고 있다. 지금은 유명무실화된 한중열차페리시스템이 다시 제기되는 등 동북아 국제복합운송시스템에 관한 움직임은 마련되어야 하고 유지되어야 한다. 본 연구에서 그 실행계획으로써 K-LB(Korea LandBridge)를 소개하고 이에 관한 타당성조사를 실시하였다. K-LB는 새만금신항을 중심으로 하는 대중국 열차페리시스템인 left-wing과 영일만항을 중심으로 하는 대러시아 열차페리시스템인 light-wing으로 하는 양 날개를 우리나라 기존 철도시스템으로 연계하는 시스템을 말한다. 본 연구는 K-LB가 현 조건과 상황에서 실효성 있는 국제물류시스템이라 확신하며 이의 도입에 관한 타당성을 제시하였다. 보다 엄밀히 말하면 도입 타당성을 확보하기에 앞서 계량화가 가능한 운송비용을 최소화 시키는 목적함수하의 선형계획모형을 통하여 K-LB의 효율성이 확보되는 운송비에서의 가용범위와 조건을 제시하였다. 연구결과는 해상운송보다 열차페리가 34.5% 정도 저렴한 비용 수준을 확보할 수 있다면 열차페리에 의한 K-LB에 경쟁력이 확보될 수 있음을 밝히고 있다. 이는 열차페리가 컨테이너전용선보다 신속한 통관시간과 절차뿐만 아니라 양하역비가 절감되는 유연한 양하역작업을 감안한다면 그 임계수준이 크지 않으며 동북아 국제물류시스템에서 충분히 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는 시스템임을 의미한다.

YOLO 기반 외곽 사각형을 이용한 근접 돼지 분리 (Separation of Touching Pigs using YOLO-based Bounding Box)

  • Although separation of touching pigs in real-time is an important issue for a 24-h pig monitoring system, it is challenging to separate accurately the touching pigs in a crowded pig room. In this study, we propose a separation method for touching pigs using the information generated from Convolutional Neural Network(CNN). Especially, we apply one of the CNN-based object detection methods(i.e., You Look Only Once, YOLO) to solve the touching objects separation problem in an active manner. First, we evaluate and select the bounding boxes generated from YOLO, and then separate touching pigs by analyzing the relations between the selected bounding boxes. Our experimental results show that the proposed method is more effective than widely-used methods for separating touching pigs, in terms of both accuracy and execution time.

독일 지방자치단체환경영향평가제도 연구 (A Study on the local Environmental Impact Assessment in Germany)

  • Environmental protection and precaution are the most frequently considered issues in the recent research fields for our present and future surroundings. However, it seems that these environmental issues were less reflected in local-level development plans, and caused several cases of environmental pollution, therefore it became a major concern of local governments and the communities. The role of a 'Local EIA(Environment Impact Assessment)' can be a core issue for the positive preferences of the local-level development plans. Cases of Local EIA in Germany which have been implied successfully are reviewed to generate a local EIA movement and to produce a guideline for Korean local governments. The local EIA in Germany was broadly commenced in the middle of 1980s, and a decade later it was carried out for over 200 of local governments. To produce a better suggestion for Korean local EIA, comparison and analysis of detail data of the German local EIA was carried out, and tested for fourteen cities in Korea based on five categories: i) assessment subject, ii) assessment procedure, iii) main office for assessment, iv) assessment factor and v) assessment standard. Prior suggestions for greater preference of local EIA in Korea are: it is necessary that I) launch of a support system in central government to help the movement of local government; Ⅱ) a knowledge-based expert group in local government which has by all means of exclusive responsibility far any action(new application or performance of local EIA) : 111) establishment of 'environmental protection measure' in local government level for environmental precaution based on individual environmental character and values in their communities.

Environmental-Friendly Amendment of the Non-Resident Supervision Systems for the Private Small Buildings

  • Current supervision systems have been changed by the demands of social, physical and institutional environment, and have a role of preventing safety accident and in improving the construct ability through the analysis of issues in quality, time, construction, safety, and environmental management. The public sector "Construction Technology Management Act", a general and private sector "Building Act" and "Certified Architects Act", the residential building "Housing Act" are dealt with supervision systems, respectively, but private small building construction is excluded from the discussion of the main targets because of their relatively small scale and the lack of social interests, Thus, this study focused on the small buildings for improving the non-resident supervision systems. Survey results revealed that the non-resident supervisor needs to be selected not by clients but by officers in order to obtain its publicity. Based on the proper selection and execution of the supervision system suggested in this study, the potential effects can be summarized as 1) recovering of publicity, 2) correcting abnormal practice, and 3) realizing design intention for increasing the public value of buildings. In addition, findings in this study will be effective to amend current non-resident supervision systems for improving the quality of buildings and communities as well as for adopting the environmental-friendly energy-efficient smart building technologies.

무기체계 실사격 시험의 시스템공학 적용 (Systems Engineering based Live Fire Test of Weapon Systems)

  • We propose the live fire test process model based on systems engineering which consists of 4 phases i.e., review, setup, conduct and result. We also suggest the 4 phases acquisition model consisting of planning, execution, evaluation and disposal for test infrastructure. CMMI, TMMi and PMBOK are referred and hierarchial analysis method are adopted in developing the models. Thus, the detailed sub-processes are designed after defining higher level processes first. The higher level processes are defined by extracting common areas of all the test types. The low level processes for each specific test are designed by tailoring the higher level processes. By applying the proposed test process models into collaboration tool and information system, effective and systematic test processes for weapon systems are established.

공유메모리 다중처리기에서 효율적인 프로세서 동기화 기법 (An Efficient Processor Synchronization Scheme on Shared Memory Multiprocessor)

  • Many kinds of large scale multiprocessing and parallel-processing systems have recently been developed. The contention on the shared data caused by multiple processors may degrade system performance. So, processor synchronization has become one of the important issues in these systems. To solve the synchornization issues, a lot of software and hardware schemes based on spin lock have been proposed. Although software schemes are easy to implement, hardware schemes are preferred in many systems to gain optimized performance. This paper proposes an efficient processor synchronization scheme, called QCX,and describes its design considerations, hardware, algorithm, protocol. Also, in this paper, the performance of QCX has been evaluated with QOLB[5] and LBP[7] using a simulation. The simulation, with varying the number of processor and the contention on shared variables, measured the average execution times of a workload. The simulation results show that the performances of QCX is best when practicability is considered. QCX is more efficient than QOLB and LBP in two aspects. First, the hardware of QCX is more simple and cost-effective because the cache structure need not be changed. Secondly, QCX is more general because it uses a generic atomic instruction.

  • In order to implement the real-time operating systems for robot controller, this paper proposes a systematic method for implementing the real-time kernel under the DOS environment. So far, we designed the robot control software and its own operating system simultaneously. Though robot operating systems have simple structure, it allows the developer to have a surplus time and effort to implement complete robot systems. In addition to this, in most cases of this type, operating systems does not support multitasking function, thus, low level hardware interrupts are used for real-time execution. Subsequently, some kinds of real-time tasks are hard to implement under this environment. Nowadays, the operating systems for robot controller requires multitasking functions, intertask communication and task synchronization mechanism, and rigorous real-time responsiveness. Thus, we propose an effective and low costs real-time systems for robot controller satisfying the various real-time characteristics. The proposed real-time systems are verified through real implementation.

  • Construction project is completed through several stages and problems of each stage affect directly not only now but also next. Defect of 2D drawings influence in construction phase, and it make many loss on project. Nowadays we practically use real Mock-up test in construction sites to solve the problems. But it also has many problems which are waste much money and time. Therefore, this study tries to analyze effect that is occurred by appling BIM Mock-up simulation instead of real Mock-up execution. These analysis is conducted by comparing two construction building site. These have same shape but one is made for BIM Mock-up, and another is real Mock-up. Comparison points of view are cost, time and operator's satisfaction. It is expect that BIM Mock-up is more effective at low cost and on shorter time. But our analysis show that each are conducted different part of function. So new Mock-up type is required. Hybrid Mock-up is combine real mock-up with BIM simulation and it can minimize risk of project.
