  • 정보 매체로서 자리잡은 인터넷은 초고속정보통신망을 통한 종합정보통신망이 된다는 것은 이제 기정 사실이 되었다. 교육 분야에서도 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 점차 가르치는 교수중심에서 배우는 학습자 중심으로 변모해가고 있으며 전통적인 교실에서의 수업보다도 공간과 거리감에 구애를 받지 않는 가상공간(cyberspace)이라는 인터넷을 통하여 가상대학(cyber university)을 설립하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 급속히 변화되는 교육환경에서 교육정보서비스의 개선과 사용자중심의 디자인을 제공하기 위한 방법으로서 WDS (Web Identity Development System)을 적용한 웹사이트디자인을 개발하였다. 그리하여 WDS 적용한 웹사이트 개발 모델를 통하여 가상공간에서 보다 개선된 홈페이지디자인 개발을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

항해계열 실습생의 승선실습 교육 만족도에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Cadets' Satisfaction about Shipboard Training)

  • It is one of the most important factors Seafarers Ducation Quality Assurance and Management in Higher Maritime Educational Institution. The educational process and result of Higher Maritime Educational Institution should be evaluated according to the 1995 Amendments to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers(STCW), 1978. Actually above-mentioned evaluation is deemed to make foundation in order to enhance the efficiency of shipboard education by surveying the satisfaction of shipboard training for nautical part cadets by the group. In this paper, we carried out the questionnaire survey to study satisfactory value and the reason of dissatisfaction of 113 cadets being trained on board the Training Ship in Maritime College of Korea Maritime University(K. M. U.). The results were calculated by frequency and percentage ; the significance of difference among Department groups like Maritime Transportation Science, Maritime Police and Ship Operating Systems Engineering was analysed by $X^2$ inspection. The major results of above analysis were as follows : First training chance for dadets was very little for being overflowed on board the training ship of the K. M. U. Second, special type of Training Ship HANBADA and HANNARA made the adaptability to merchant vessel's handling restricted. Third, cadets could not manage ratings directly, therefore the education in regard to seafaring management was limited to the theoretical instruction which leads to the low level of satisfaction. And lastly, low value of satisfaction for Drydocking Education in Shipyard was caused by cadet's leaving the Training Ship on account of the safety problems including ship and cadets.

  • This paper deals with enhancement of the high school equalization assignment system to be executed by the allied entrance examination after the applicants graduated from their middle schools. In prevailing opinion, because educational demander's will has not been considered under the current system, it whose merits have been covered is required to be improved. If the application system of the entrance examination for the high schools will be returned, a situation that it will result in irregularity of the middle school education and in overheating entrance examination seems to appear explicitly. Since the averages of the allied entrance examination score of all the high schools, achieved by the equalization-application nearest assignment system which is named by writers of this paper, are equal, our system is good for maintaining the merits of the current system. More than 50% educational demander's will has been reflected by our system, so that we come to the conclusion that our system is excellent in all the systems verified up to now. Assigning students to the high school to make an average difference between three and five score, we expect that relection rate of the educational demander's will be increased more than 60%.

  • 교육시스템에서 분산된 교육 정보를 검색, 공유하는 새로운 기술로 이동 에이전트가 주목을 받고 있다. 효율적인 검색을 수행하기 위해 많은 양의 컨텐츠를 전송받는 대신 검색을 수행하는 에이전트를 직접 서버에 전달하는 방식을 이용한다. 본 연구에서는 이동 에이전트를 이용하여 교육용 사이트에 분산적으로 존재하는 질의응답 게시판과 유즈넷의 자료를 검색, 공유하는 시스템의 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템의 효율성을 살펴보기 위해 기존의 검색 모델과의 비교 실험을 하였으며 교육용 서버로 에이전트가 이동함에 따라 네트워크 트래픽이 감소됨을 볼 수 있었다 또한 이동 에이전트가 검색 위치로 이동 후 게시판과 유즈넷의 자료 변환을 위한 최적 검색 시간이 단축되었다.

고등학교 기숙사 운영시스템 만족도 평가에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Dormitory Users' Satisfaction with Facility Operation Service System)

  • The Korean government has recently implemented the public policy, so-called the Dormitory-based Public High-School Operation. The policy aims at providing the community-based high-quality education for the high-school students in the regional areas including agricultural, sea-side, and mountainous territories. Since the schools will be open for 24 hours a day during a whole year, they need to develop educational programs after regular school hours and violence prevention systems to maintain stable surroundings for study. In doing so, it is required for the schools to set up a systematic dormitory operation & administration program reflecting the demands of the dormitory users. Most of the schools, however, have not experienced operating a dormitory, thereby do not have any clues to successfully build the dormitory system. The main objective of this research is not only to provide the information on the demands of the dormitory users and their concerns with the demands but also to suggest guidelines to better build the system through conducting questionnaire survey to the students in a currently operated dormitory-based high-school.

Unintentional and Involuntary Personal Information Leakage on Facebook from User Interactions

  • Online social networks (OSNs) have changed the way people communicate with each other. An OSN usually encourages the participants to provide personal information such as real names, birthdays and educational background to look for and establish friendships among them. Some users are unwilling to reveal personal information on their personal pages due to potential privacy concerns, but their friends may inadvertently reveal that. In this work, we investigate the possibility of leaking personal information on Facebook in an unintentional and involuntary manner. The revealed information may be useful to malicious users for social engineering and spear phishing. We design the inference methods to find birthdays and educational background of Facebook users based on the interactions among friends on Facebook pages and groups, and also leverage J-measure to find the inference rules. The inference improves the finding rate of birthdays from 71.2% to 87.0% with the accuracy of 92.0%, and that of educational background from 75.2% to 91.7% with the accuracy of 86.3%. We also suggest the sanitization strategies to avoid the private information leakage.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the layout types by the characteristics of 24 high school sites in Gyeonggi-do. These 24 high schools were built to establish the learner-oriented education in high schools to comply with the 7th Curriculum of the Ministry of Education. The 7th Curriculum has been altered from the supply-oriented to the demand-oriented and learner-oriented one since the year of 2000 to meet the demands of the fast moving society. For this study, the following researches have been conducted; 1) Literature were reviewed to examine the educational systems that supported architectural planning of existing high schools. 2) The environment and characteristics of the high school sites were investigated and current move in planning of high school site was examined. 3) Layout types were classified by the configurations of existing high school buildings. The output of this study was used to find the architectural data such as building site, building coverage, floor area ratio, the number of floors, site shape, direction and front of building.

  • 다양한 교육현장에서 인터넷과 멀티미디어 시스템 및 기술의 발달로 인해 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 활용한 가상교육이 증가하고 있다. 기존의 교수자와 학습자가 얼굴을 대면하며 교육하는 면대면 교육과 달리 온라인 교육은 시공간의 한계를 뛰어넘어 다양한 매체와 교육 콘텐츠를 통해 자신의 학습 수준과 진도에 따라 반복학습과 자율학습을 가능토록 해준다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 가상교육이 효율적으로 진행되고 학습자들을 효과적으로 학습시킬 수 있는 전자상거래용 교육 콘텐츠를 설계하고 구현한다. 또한, 설계되고 구현된 콘텐츠가 학습자에게 효과적이었는지 설문을 통해 조사하고 통계 값을 추출한다.

고등학생의 협력적 소비에 대한 교육경험과 기대 혜택이 참여 의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of High School Student' Educational Experience and Expected Benefits on the Participation Intention of Collaborative Consumption)

  • Collaborative consumption (CC) occurs in organized systems or networks in which participants conduct sharing activities in the form of renting, lending, trading, bartering, and swapping of goods, services, transportation solutions, space, or money. Information and communications technologies (ICTs) that have emerged with CC. CC is expected to alleviate social problems such as hyper-consumption, pollution, and poverty by lowering the cost of economic coordination. In this study, we investigate the influence of educational experience and expected benefits of CC participation (intended to using and providing CC) of Adolescent Consumers. The subjects for the study were 418 high school students. Data was analyzed through frequency analysis, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS Win 21.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, the significant positive relationship found between CC participants (intent to use and provide CC), educational experience (home education, school education, and mass media) and expected benefits (social benefit, economic benefit, enjoyment, community effect, and reputation). Second, enjoyment, mass media, reputation, social benefit, home education and school education values were variables that influenced the using participation intention for CC. Third, the major variables influencing the providing participation intention CC were home education, enjoyment, gender, community effect, and mass media values.

우리나라의 교육투자 수익률 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Rates of Return to Education)

  • The purpose of the study was to estimate and analyze the rates of return to educational investment. The study was designed to estimate the social and private rates of return to educational investment by school level and sex in order to measure education's economic value with a viewpoint of human capital theory. The produced result of this study are as follows. The social rates of return to education turned out to be male high school 7.94%, male junior college 3.74%, male university 8.50% female high school 4.30%, female junior college 10.11%, female university 6.92%. The private rates of return to education turned out to be male high school 8.41%, male junior college 3.39%, male university 8.38%, female high school 7.90%, female junior college 10.34%, female university 7.33%, In order to measure economic value of educational investment, rates of return to education were compared with those to physical capital investment. Social rates of return to education turned out to be profitable for female junior college, while for private rates of return to education turned out to be profitable in all school levels except for male junior college.
