Use of Digital Educational Resources in the Training of Future Specialists in the EU Countries

  • The article proves that the main goal of informatization of higher education institutions in the EU countries is to improve the quality of education of future specialists by introducing digital educational resources into the education process. The main tasks of informatization of education are defined. Digital educational resources are interpreted as a set of data in digital form that is applicable for use in the learning process; it is an information source containing graphic, text, digital, speech, music, video, photo and other information aimed at implementing the goals and objectives of modern education; educational resources on the Internet, electronic textbooks, educational programs, electronic libraries, etc. The creation of digital educational resources is defined as one of the main directions of informatization of all forms and levels of Education. Types of digital educational resources by educational functions are considered. The factors that determine the effectiveness of using digital educational resources in the educational process are identified. The use of digital educational resources in the training of future specialists in the EU countries is considered in detail. European countries note that digital educational resources in professional use allow you to implement a fundamentally new approach to teaching and education, which is based on broad communication, free exchange of opinions, ideas, information of participants in a joint project, on a completely natural desire to learn new things, expand their horizons; is based on real research methods (scientific or creative laboratories), allowing you to learn the laws of nature, the basics of techniques, technology, social phenomena in their dynamics, in the process of solving vital problems, features of various types of creativity in the process of joint activities of a group of participants; promotes the acquisition by teachers of various related skills that can be very useful in their professional activities, including the skills of using computer equipment and various digital technologies.

  • To improve the educational system of Korea Maritime Police Agency(KMPA), the authors investigate and evaluate the present course and curricula in details comparing with the systems of USCG and JCG. As a result, it is suggested that KMPA find the diverse route to recruit good-quality officers, develop the future-oriented system, coordinate the course and curricula to meet the role and mission of KMPA. Besides, KMPA build the own training facility and train special instructors.

  • The importance of training for NC, CNC and Machining Center has been greatly increased. This paper presents implementation of a DNC system and operating software for educational purpose. This system is able to connect 8-32 CNCs to Control PC with RS232 multi-port serial card. Therefore, it allows much efficiency in training even after costs are considered. The KISCO DNC S/W for above system includes various communication function, communication parameter setting, program editor, tool management and user-friendly environment.

교육용 게임에서 맥락의 의미 고찰 (Exploring meaning of the context into the educational game)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 게임 활용 학습에서 맥락이 갖는 의미를 고찰해 보는 것이다. 사회적 상호작용활동이 활발하게 이루어지는 게임에서 맥락이 어떠한 의미를 담고 있는지, 교육적 함의를 탐색해 봄으로써 게임의 교육적 활용과 개발에서 염두 해야 할 중요한 요소로서 인식시키고자 한다. 맥락은 학습자가 게임 활동과정에서 효율적으로 게임 상황을 파악하고 학습 문제를 인식하며, 문제해결과정에서 자기 주도적 학습을 촉진하여 게임에 내재되어있는 교육목표를 효과적으로 달성할 수 있는 촉매제 역할을 한다. 맥락은 상황에 따라서 가변적이고, 유동적이다. 또한 게임 속에서 펼쳐지는 다양한 환경에서 플레이어 마다 인식하는 범위가 다르다. 게임을 학습에 활용하는 측면에서 지식구성환경으로서 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 맥락이 고려된 설계와 개발이 선행 되어야 한다.

교육투자의 한계효용에 관한 이론적 고찰 (A Study on the Marginal Efficiency of Educational Investment)

  • Economic development is usually identified with the increased of G.N.P and capital formation connected directly wi:11 the net increase of land, structure, commodity, stocks and foreign claims, etc. The increase of G.N.P. is driving at capital formation. The usual concept of capital formation for economic development misses the important productivity factor of human capital. Because it is now increasingly realized that a massive injection of material into production will 11 not necessarily explain a successful productivity unless that country already possesses 1 suitable human capital. Human capital is built of educational investment which is related to the physical capital. Many statistical investigations identified this reality. Of late years, a great crowd of economists studying an the problem of economic development have turned their attention towards human capital. Thereupon, this paper has dealt with the fact that educational investment affects physical capital and employment. The qualitative increment of human capital will increase the productivity but excessive expenditure on human capital will squander a physical capital. In designing a strategy of human capital for economic development, one needs to consider tile level of educational investment because educational investment of developing countries will be accasionaly made or marred by investment level and direction.

과학고등학교 공간계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Planning for Science High Schools)

  • This research aims at proposing the space planning and architectural guideline required in designing the Science High School. It investigates specific features of the science high school which are distinguished from the general high school and analyses the compositional figure of teachers and students, the teaching methods and its educational curriculum, especially the revised educational curriculum in 2009. Meanwhile, it explores the administrative systems and facilities of the existing science high schools through both the document survey and on-the-spot interview. Such endeavor results in proposing the space classification, the space composition methods and a classroom managing system, which would be suited to the science high school. Finally it presents the architectural guidelines for planning the special subject learning area that is composed of a special subject classroom, a specified lab, medial space, a project and research room and teacher's room. The result of this study could be the fundamental resources for programming the special purposed high school as well as the science high school building.

  • 교육망의 보안 인프라는 통합관리시스템을 기준으로 다양한 정보보호시스템의 보안 이벤트를 수집하고 분석을 통하여 위협을 관리하고 대응한다. 이러한 체계는 관리자에게 유용하고 자세한 정보를 제공하지만, 다양한 위협 상황과 동시 다발적인 위협에 대해서 효과적인 대응 프로세스와 관리체계를 제공하지 못하고 있는 문제점을 많이 가진 교육망에 대한 해결방안으로 관리자에게 다양하고 세부적인 정보 제공보다는 관리자가 초기 위협에 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 관리기술과 다양한 보안 이벤트들의 처리 스케줄링을 통해서 통합보안관리가 가능하도록 보안 에이전트를 제안 개발하였다.

  • 디지털 콘텐츠를 보존하기 위한 아카이빙 시스템은 주로 도서관, 박물관에서 활용되고 있다. 이 중 대학교 도서관에서는 논문, 연구 보고서 등 연구업적에 대한 보존 활동이 주로 이루어지고 있지만, 상대적으로 교육자료에 대한 보존활동은 주목 받지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 교수업무의 전반적인 과정을 장기적으로 보존할 수 있는 리포지토리를 설계하고 이를 구축하는 것이다. 교육 리포지토리 설계를 위해 아카이빙 대상을 먼저 선정한 뒤, 교육자료의 장기적 보관에 적합한 디지털 포맷을 논의한다. 설계가 완료된 후 이를 바탕으로 대표적 리포지토리 소프트웨어인 DSpace, EPrints, Fedora, 그리고 Omeka를 이용하여 리포지토리를 구축하고 이에 대한 비교분석결과를 제시한다.

Clark의 통합교육모형(IEM)을 적용한 과학 수업이 초등과학영재반의 학업 성취도와 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Science Instruction using Integrative Educational Model(IEM) in Elementary Science Gifted Classes on Academic Achievement and Scientific Attitude)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of science instruction using integrative educational model on academic achievement and scientific attitude in gifted classes on elementary science. Integrative educational model (hereafter referred as IEM) was developed by synthesizing the findings from brain research, the new physics, general systems theory, and educational psychology. 77 6th graders of B Metropolitan City's Elementary Gifted Education Center were took part in this study. The experimental group, consisting of 39 students, was applied to the instruction using IEM, while the comparison group, 38 students, was applied to instructor- led instruction. The results of this study were as follows: First, the science instruction using IEM had a positive effect on improving achievement in gifted classes on elementary science. Second, the science instruction using IEM had an influence on inquisitiveness and openness of the lower domains of learners' scientific attitude. Third, the science instruction using IEM had a positive response to learners' interest, comprehensibility about lesson contents, and ability to concentrate on classes.

  • It is one of the most important factors Seafarers Education Quality Assurance and management in Higher Maritime Education Institution. The educational process and result of Higher Maritime Educational Institution. The educational process and result of Higher Maritime Educational Institution should be evaluated according to the 1995 Amendments to the International Convention on Standards of Training Certification and Watchkddping for Seafares(STCW) 1978. Actuall above-mentioned evaluation is deemed to make foundation in order to enhance the efficiency of shipboard education by surveying the satisfaction of shipboard training for Marine Engineering part cadets by the group. In this paper we carried out the questionnaire survey to study stisfactory value and the reason of dissatisfaction of 89 cadets being trained on board the Training Ship in Maritime College of Korea Maritime University The results were calculated by frequency and percentage; the significance of difference among Department groups like Marine Engineering Maritime polic and Ship Operating Systems Engineering Engineering was analysed by $x^2$ inspection.
