라오스 주민의 건강행위에 영향을 미치는 요인: 건강통제위 매개효과를 중심으로 (Factors influencing health behavior of residents in Lao People's Democratic Republic: Focusing on mediating effect of health locus of control)

  • Purpose: This study sought to investigate health behavior (HB) and its affecting factors based on Anderson's behavioral model in Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR). Also, it attempted to identify the mediation of the health locus of control (HLC) between HB and the affecting factors. Methods: Secondary data from 694 people without noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) from a survey conducted by the Ewha Womans and the Laos University were used. The measurements included predisposing, enabling, and needs factors, HLC, HB (current non-smoking, low-risk drinking, physical activity, fruit and vegetable consumption, medical checkup). The mediating effect was analyzed using Baron and Kenny's method and the Sobel test. Results: Predisposing (gender, educational level, ethnic), enabling (social support, item ownership in household) and the needs factors (body mass index) were affecting HB. Internal HLC had a positive influence on HB. The stronger the others and chance HLC, the lower the HB. Chance HLC mediated the relationship between the educational level and HB. Conclusion: There is a need to recognize the importance of chance HLC as a mediator between the educational level and HB. Through this result, high-quality nursing education for the prevention of NCDs should be developed considering the impact of chance HLC.

Alignment between National College Entrance Examinations and Mathematics Curriculum Standards: A Comparative Analysis

  • Measuring alignment of various educational components is an important issue in educational research because with aligned educational system, we can have clear expectations about what to teach and assess. In this study, we examined the alignment between mathematics curriculum standards and college entrance examinations from Korea and China. The results indicate that curriculum standards and high stakes assessments from both countries are not well aligned to each other. Their Surveys of Enacted Curriculum (SEC) indices were lower than what previous studies have found and the critical values (Fulmer, 2011; Liu & Fulmer, 2008; Liu et al., 2009). There are several topics that are not assessed in both countries' national assessments. Also, discrepancies between the most frequently covered topics in the curriculum standards and the most frequently assessed mathematical topics in the national assessments caused topic level misalignment. We also found misalignment in cognitive level. Both national assessments included more perform procedures and demonstrate understanding items than their respective curriculum standards. Thus, previous findings about the inclusion of more items with higher cognitive demand in assessments is only partially true for either country. With these results, it is difficult to say that whether mathematical topics in the curriculum standards appropriately represent and support students to do well on the CSAT and the NCEE or that the mathematical items in the CSAT and the NCEE validly assess students' level of mathematical understanding.

Analysis of the Input of Education and Innovation on Economic Growth in Kazakhstan

  • Purpose: this study is aimed at assessing the contribution of education and innovation to the economic growth of Kazakhstan, the correlation between them is checked based on two levels on a national scale and a regional scale. Based on the literature review, it was revealed that in the vastness of the scientific community, there are many views concerning the influence of educational and innovative factors on economic growth. Research design, data and methodology: the research methodology is divided into two levels, at the first level, a correlation analysis is carried out between key factors and the economic growth of the country (GDP), at the second level, the same factors are analyzed, but the impact on the economic growth of the region (GRP) is estimated. Statistical data on educational and innovation potential is taken from the Bureau of National Statistics for the period 2003-2021. Results: in this study, it was revealed that the economic development of regions could be influenced by such indicators that cannot affect the entire state in aggregate and vice versa. In addition, the correlation analysis results showed that investments in innovations affect economic growth at the country and the regional level. Conclusions: based on the results of the assessment of educational and innovative potential, policy recommendations and further research in this area were proposed.

제7차 중학교 기술.가정 교육과정 상황과 투입 평가 -가정영역을 중심으로- (Context and Input Evaluation of the 7th Technology.Home Economics Curriculum in the Middle Schools focusing on Home Economics)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제7차 가정 교육과정에 대해 CIPP모형을 적용한 상황과 투입을 평가하여 차기 가정과 교육과정의 발전에 기여하는데 있다. 본 연구는 경상남도에 소재한 중학교 가운데임의 표집한 250 개교에서 제7차 교육과정 기술 가정교과의 가정 영역을 담당하고 있는 교사를 대상으로 설문지를 발송한 후, 응답 수집된 109명의 설문지를 최종 분석 자료로 사용하여 이루어졌다. 자료에 대해서는 SPSS 10.0 for Windows 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 비율, 평균, 표준편차를 산출하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상황 평가(교육 상황 평가)로 보면 가정 교육과정의 교육목표와 성격에 대한 요구 조사에서 '진로탐색'에 대한 요구도가 높게 나타나고, '가정생활에 대한 이해를 높임'에 대한 요구도는 낮게 나타났다. 담당 교사의 자신감도 부족하지만, 교과에 대한 학생의 흥미와 관심도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째. 투입 평가(교육 계획 평가)로 보면 기술 가정 교육과정의 가정 영역에 대한 적절성에서 시간 배당, 내용 수준, 내용 분량에 대해 적절하지 못하다고 여기는 것으로 나타났으며 학교 수준에서 기술 가정 교육과정 구성과 교사의 수업지도안도 충실하게 이루어지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 조사 항목 중에서 평가에 대한 학교 수준 계획 수립이 상대적으로 충실한 것으로 나타났고, 이에 비하여 교과 협의는 충실하게 이루어지지 않아 다양한 내용들을 제대로 협의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

중학생의 성취수준에 따른 기하 문제해결의 특징 탐색 (Research for Distinctive Features of Geometry Problem Solving According to Achievement Level on Middle School Students)

  • 본 연구는 국가수준 학업성취도에 따라 구분된 학생들의 성취수준별로 기하 문제해결에서 어떤 특정을 보이는지를 탐색하려 하였다. 기초학력, 보통학력, 우수학력 학생 3 명씩을 동질그룹으로 구성하여 교사의 도움 없이 비정형적인 기하 문제를 해결하게 하였고, 관찰을 통해 성취수준별로 기하 개념 발달 수준이 어떠한지, 문제 해결의 방법을 선택할 때 어떤 접근을 하는지를 분석하였다. 기초학력 학생들은 모양과 실용 기하의 개념 수준에서 문제해결에서 무엇을 할 수 있는가에 초점을 둔 물리적, 구체적 행동을 보였고, 보통학력 학생들은 실용 기하와 유클리드 기하의 수준에서 문제해결을 위해 무엇을 해야 하는가에 초점을 두어 문제해결의 여러 가지 방법을 탐색했으며, 우수학력 학생들은 실용 기하와 유클리드 기하의 수준에서 일반화와 정당화를 통해 문제해결의 본질에 접근하려 하였다. 본 연구는 이에 따라 학생들의 수준별 수학 학습을 지도하는 것에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.

수도권 소재 일부 대학병원 일반직 근로자의 노조몰입과 조직갈등의 경험에 관한 연구 (Organization Conflict and Affecting Factors on Labor Union Commitment among University Hospital Employees in Seoul and Gyeong-Gi Province)

  • The aims of this study were to analyze affecting factors on labor union commitment among university hospital employees and provide basic data in two general hospitals. The subjects of this study were 357 hospital employees in one university hospital in Seoul and the other university hospital in Gyeong-Gi province from May 21 to June 10, 2010 through survey questionnaires. The main results of this study were as follow : First, labor union commitment level among subjects was increased as 40 years old, lower educational level, lower job position and union leader. Second, organization conflict level among subjects did not statistical differ significantly regarding age, education level, wedding, and job position, but job year. Third, correlation between labor union commitment level and organizational conflict increased. Finally, from the results of multiple regression analysis to identify major affecting factors of labor union commitment level, it depends on lower educational level, high conflict, and union leader between individual and group but not significantly. Therefore, it was necessary to continued to be supported for labor union. New research was required regarding organization culture and commitment.

사회 및 환경요인에 따른 뇌졸중 환자의 기능적 독립성 비교 (The comparison of functional independence in stroke patients according to the social and envitonment factor)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance level of functional independence of the stroke patient. Methods : In order to find out the functional independence of stroke patient, 160 peoples, 80 peoples in a large city and 80 peoples in small-to-medium sized city, were questioned. Result : The results of this study were as follows: 1. Functional independence level due to social factor; The comparison of functional independence level between two groups showed significant difference in educational level, religion, family member, vocation, and medical fees(P<.05). However, the two groups did not show significant difference in spouse. 2. Functional independence level due to environment factor; The comparison of functional independence level between two groups showed significant difference in place of residence and residental environment(P<.05). However, each group did not show significant difference. Conclusion : These results suggest that realization of stable housing, educational level, various physical activities, and diversified family members is essential. Also, stable environment and social satisfaction are needed to maintain and improve the health of patient.

화학공학분야 교육비전 수립 연구 (A Proposal for the Education Vision for Chemical Engineering Field)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish and propose educational vision of chemical engineering field in order to search for academic identity and future education direction in chemical engineering field. In order to achieve this research purpose, we investigate the literature and data on the vision, educational goals, and curriculum of the department of chemical engineering in domestic and foreign universities. We also analyze the SWOT of internal and external environmental factors respectively. The validity of the proposal was verified through delphi survey with delphi panels and the vision was developed by revising and improving upon the opinions of professionals. The vision is comprised of the value and mission of learning, the educational purpose, and the educational goal. The first stage is value and mission of chemical engineering. The educational purposes and the educational goals are divided into 'Department of Chemical Engineering' and 'Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering'. The application of the educational vision of chemical engineering field is as follows. First, we expect that the vision to be a valuable, philosophical, and theoretical basis for establishing educational objectives and goals in the field of chemical engineering. Hopefully, it will be used as a general education goal for the top-level education. Second, we hope that the vision will be used to develop customized vision, customized educational purpose, and educational goals that reflect the characteristics of region, departments, graduates, and educational needs in the field of chemical engineering. Finally, we hope that these results will be the starting point to discuss the educational vision in the department of chemical engineering.

노후 성격적응성향과 노인이 지각하는 기혼자녀와의 갈등관계연구 -장남부부와의 관계를 중심으로- (A Study on the Relation of the Later Personality Adjustment Types and the Aged Perception of the Conflict with their Married Children -Focus on the Relationships with their Eldest Sons and Wives-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relation between the later personality adjustment types and the elderly percepted conflict with their married children. The subjects for this study are the aged over 60 years in Seoul both having the eldest sons' couples and perceiving their own economics level as the middle-upper. The results based on this are as followed: 1) The Active Integrated Coper is appeared in the higher educational level group in the better health condition in the 11-30 thousand won of personal expense in the professional and management occupation and in the more vigorous for social activity. The Failing Overcoper the Dependent Passive Coper and the Self-negating Undercoper is appeared in th female elder group in the later group of the older age in the lower educational level in the worse health condition in the group without spouse in one without income in the below 10 thousand won in the less preparation for the later life. 2) The problems of emotion and iew of values bring about the conflicts between them and theirs rather than the financial problem. when they are in the worse health condition in the group without religion in the group not cohabiting their eldest sons' couples and in the group not well-prepared for their later life as the socio-demographic variables the old recognized the seriousness of the conflict with their eldest sons' couples. 3) The lower the Active Integrated Coper is and the higher the Failing Overcoper is the more intense the conflict between them and their eldest sons' couples is. 4) The t-test to examine the difference in the old's conflict with their eldest sons' couples among the later groups shows that it is in the less the Active Integrated Coper and in the more the Failing Overcoper that the conflict is more surfaced. 5) The educational level the level of the later life preparation the contact frequency with their daughter the level of their social activity as the socio-demographic variables and the Failing Overcoper as the later personality adjustment type answer for 22 percentage of the conflict.

학교장의 교육정보화 인식이 학생들의 ICT 리터러시 수준에 미치는 영향 분석 (An Analysis on ICT Lietracy Level of Elementary School Student according to Pricipal's Awareness of Educational Information Technology)

  • 본 논문에서는 초 중등학교의 교육정보화 수준과 학생들의 ICT 리터러시 수준 결과를 연계하여 분석하였다. 특히 초등학교를 대상으로 학교장이 인식하는 학교의 교육정보화 수준에 따라 해당 초등학교 학생들의 ICT 리터러시 수준이 다르게 나타나는가를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 전체 초등학교 4~6학년의 1%인 12,759명을 표집하여 ICT 리터러시 수준을 측정하였다. 그리고 표집된 학생들이 재학하는 250개 초등학교의 교육정보화 수준 측정 결과를 교육부 자료에서 추출한 후 두 자료를 서로 연계하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학교장이 재직하고 있는 학교의 교육정보화 수준이 전체적으로 잘 되어있다는 인식이 높을수록 초등학생의 ICT 리터러시 수준이 높아지는 경향이 있지만 물적 영역과 활용 영역에서는 단정하기 어렵고 주로 인적 영역에서 확신이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과에 비추어 볼 때 초등학교에서의 교육정보화는 물적인 인프라 구축과 자원의 활용성 강조보다는 교사들에 대한 역량 강화 및 인식 제고를 위한 노력이 더 필요한 것으로 판단되어지며, 향후 교육정보화 정책을 추진함에 있어 물적인 인프라 구축 지원과 함께 교사들에 대한 역량 강화 및 인식 제고를 위한 노력을 강화할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
