Purpose: To identify the differences in perception of and adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guidelines among health care workers, patients, and the general public and to use them to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Methods: From October 16 2020 to November 30, 2020, a survey was conducted among 85 health care workers, 85 patients, and 82 general public regarding the perception of and adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guidelines. Results: Patients scored significantly higher than the general public in the adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline, and there was no difference between health care workers and general public, and patients and health care workers. In the multivariate analysis, the factors that influence the adherence of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guide were found in women and the perception of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline. Conclusion: In order to promote the implementation of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline, it is necessary to increase the perception of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline and provide additional education in men. It is necessary to investigate the reason behind why men have low adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline.

기록관리전문가의 역할은 전통적인 기록관리 뿐 아니라 정보기술을 기반으로 전자기록관리까지 주도적으로 실행하는 역할로 확장되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기록관리전문가 양성과정인 기록관리학 대학원 교육지침서의 구성요소, 지식범주, 지식내용의 적절성과 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 전문가 델파이 평가를 실시하였다. 전문가 평가 결과 교육지침서의 구성요소는 서문, 교육 내용, 교원 요건, 교육 과정, 행정적 지원, 결론이고 교육 내용은 8개 지식범주와 44개 지식내용으로 구성되었다. 본 연구는 교육지침서 모형 개발을 통해 기록관리학 대학원에서 준수해야 하는 최소한의 기준인 구성요소를 제시하고, 이론과 실무 역량을 갖춘 기록관리전문가 양성을 위한 교육내용을 제시하였다. 본 연구 모형은 향후 교육지침서 제정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Asthma is a prevalent and serious health problem in Korea. Recently, the Korean Asthma Guideline has been updated by The Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (KATRD) in an effort to improve the clinical management of asthma. This guideline focuses on adult patients with asthma and aims to deliver up to date scientific evidence and recommendations to general physicians for the management of asthma. For this purpose, this guideline was updated following systematic review and meta-analysis of recent studies and adapting some points of international guidelines (Global Initiative for Asthma [GINA] report 2014, National Asthma Education and Prevention Program [NAEPP] 2007, British Thoracic Society [BTS/SIGN] asthma guideline 2012, and Canadian asthma guideline 2012). Updated issues include recommendations derived using the population, intervention, comparison, and outcomes (PICO) model, which produced 20 clinical questions on the management of asthma. It also covers a new definition of asthma, the importance of confirming various airflow limitations with spirometry, the epidemiology and the diagnostic flow of asthma in Korea, the importance and evidence for inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and ICS/formoterol as a single maintenance and acute therapy in the stepwise management of asthma, assessment of severity of asthma and management of exacerbation, and an action plan to cope with exacerbation. This guideline includes clinical assessments, and treatment of asthma-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease overlap syndrome, management of asthma in specific conditions including severe asthma, elderly asthma, cough variant asthma, exercise-induced bronchial contraction, etc. The revised Korean Asthma Guideline is expected to be a useful resource in the management of asthma.

Purpose: This purpose of this study was to develop evidence-based practice guideline for isolation in health care settings to prevent transmission of infectious diseases utilizing guideline adaption process. Methods: The process of guideline adaptation was performed according to the Korean hospital nurses association's guideline adaptation manual which consisted of three main phases, 9 modules, and 24 steps. Results: The adapted isolation guideline consisted of introduction, overview of isolation guideline, summary of recommendations, recommendations, references, and appendices. The guideline includes 224 recommendations in 4 sections which are organizational administration, standard precautions, transmission-based precautions, and education/counselling. Conclusion: The adapted isolation guideline is recommended to be disseminated and utilized by nurses and clinicians nationwide to improve the isolation practices for infected or colonized patients with communicable diseases and to decrease the transmission of infections in the healthcare settings.

Regarding the role of infrastructure in the university and education sector, which is the most important factor for securing future competitiveness of a country, timely application from qualified applicants is an important factor. Thus, this study is to propose creative value regarding education and certification for smart IT sector, which will be a major topic in continuous technology development over the next 10 more years, and to bring out ripple effects by policy research regarding education and certification for smart IT sector in the software-oriented society. This research on policy regarding education and certification for smart IT sector in the software oriented society can be used as a guideline in education and certification for smart IT sector at colleges and can be also used for establishing groundwork for completing practical education required in smart ICT field at colleges and for cultivating mobile app program developers required by enterprises.

Recognizing a tremendous increase in the Internet users and popularity of E-learning through the Internet, this study attempted to analyze interactive financial education web sites for children. Using meta search engines and major search engines, interactive financial education web sites identified based on the three criteria and analyzed in terms of the appropriateness for specific age groups, the coverage of contents related to the basic knowledge for financial literacy, and the interactive activities. The results showed that financial education web sites for children were needed to be improved in terms of both quantity and quality. The study also provides a guideline how to search for an appropriate financial education web sites for children when parents want teach about money to their children.

This study had a purpose to investigate elements of teamwork skill for engineering students. For this, literature review and delphi method were used. The delphi survey was conducted with 20 experts consisting of experts in engineering, education, and industry field. 22 elements of teamwork skill for engineering students were finally developed. Teamwork skill included knowledge, skill, and attitude for engineering students. Further, the results of this study present a guideline to develop teamwork skill in engineering education.

Purpose: This study was conducted to adapt the previously developed intravenous infusion guidelines with good quality for development of the evidence-based intravenous infusion nursing practice guideline in Korea. Methods: Guideline adaptation process was conducted according to guideline adaptation manual version 2.0 developed by NECA (Kim, Kim et al., 2011) which consisted of three main phases, 9 modules including a total of 24 steps. Results: Adapted intravenous infusion nursing practice guideline was consisted of 19 domains and 180 recommendations. The domains and number of recommendations in each domain were: general guide, 4; assessment, 1; vascular access device selection, 4;site selection, 14;site preparation, 5;site care, 29; maintaining patency, 11; blood sampling via vascular access, 4; vascular access device exchange and removal, 9; add-on device selection, 27; infusion related complications, 63; education, 7; and documentation and report, 2. There were 11.9% of A, 28.4% of B, 58.7% of C in grade of recommendations. Conclusion: Adapted intravenous infusion nursing practice guideline is expected to contribute providing an evidence based practice guides for intravenous infusion. The guideline is recommended to be disseminated to nurses nationwide to improve the efficiency of intravenous infusion practice.

Objectives : This study is aimed to survey Korean Medicine Doctors's perceptions in Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline and Standard Korean Medicine Clinical Pathways for its spread(to increase utilization in clinical sites). Methods : The research population was set at 14,831 Korean medical institutions registered with the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service for sampling representative of Korean Medicine Doctors, and the final 2,007 subjects were selected in consideration of the research period and budget. This survey was conducted based on a telephone survey, and in some cases, a fax or e-mail survey was also conducted together. Six questions were asked about the perception of 'Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline and Standard Korean Medicine Clinical Pathways', and three questions about the characteristics of the respondent. Results : The rate of recognizing Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline was 36.1%. Those who worked at Korean medicine hospitals, were under 39 years of age, and had less than 11-20 years of experience as an Korean medical doctor were more likely to be aware of it. Regarding the experience of using Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline, the rate of 'not used in the past and not used now' was very high at 82.9%, but the intention to use it in the future was high at 60.7%. About the Korean Medicine Clinical Pathways, 79.9% of respondents answered that they did not know. 80.6% of respondents recognized the need for the development of clinical manuals such as Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline and Standard Korean Medicine Clinical Pathways. Conclusion : Their low awareness of Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline seems to affect its low utilization. Therefore, active education and public relations are required in the future.

The purpose of this study was to propose a theoretical model for an integrated medical humanities curriculum based on a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) education framework and to provide a guideline for curriculum integration. Three dimensions of integrated curriculum development are competencies, core contents, and elements of integration. Competencies imply the purpose of the medical humanities of a medical school and the exit outcomes of the curriculum. Core contents imply the goals and objectives of the curriculum. We compared the goals and themes of the medical humanities with core attributes of professionalism. Four elements of integration were proposed: units (cases, problem activities, core contents, disciplines/subjects), types (multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary), contexts of integration (life cycle of patients, scope of society), and stages of student development (from student to doctor). It is expected that this theoretical model for an integrated medical humanities curriculum can be used as a guideline for curriculum development and an evaluation criterion for instructional designers and subject matter experts.
