Concept of intergenerational and intercultural approaches in the education for the third age people in Saint Petersburg (Russia)

  • The concept of intergenerational and intercultural approaches in education and learning are changing nowadays. Intergenerational approach in the third age education and learning programs can be defined as planned activities that link various generations with the goal of exchanging knowledge, experiences and receiving mutual benefits. The goal is to connect people by using mutually beneficial activities that encourage understanding, cooperation and respect between generations, as well as contribute to the society. Intercultural approach in the third age education is connected with activities that link people of various cultures aimed at receiving mutual benefits. This paper discusses the development of third age education in Saint Petersburg, Russia and shows how the intercultural and intergenerational approaches are used in this type of education. The third age universities in Saint Petersburg do not have a lot of experience in this. In the article examples of the using intercultural and intergenerational approaches in the third age education are showed.

공업고등학교 안전교육 내용 체계 개발 연구 (Study on the Development of a Safety Education System for Technical High Schools)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a safety education system and its contents for technical high schools including textbooks and instruction manuals for teachers. Methods: Reference materials and surveys were both employed in the study. Basic theory and relevant contents were estimated. The contents of safety education included in the current curriculum in technical high schools were evaluated and the laws and regulations related to safety education in such schools were analyzed by researching references. In addition, the status of safety education in technical high schools and the demand for safety education were reviewed. Results: The goal of safety education has been established based on the status and theory of the estimated safety education, The goal was classified into an overall goal and sub-goals, setting five areas of safety education. Furthermore, the contents of safety education, total 17 hours per year for each grade, were organized into 20 content goals and 47 activity elements. These activity factors of safety education has been systemized by grade. Conclusion: All technical high-schools need to carry out safety education based on the contents related to safety education. The operation of this systematic safety education will be more efficient and effective than the current system and the knowledge, attitude, and behavior regarding safety at technical high schools are expected to undergo positive changes. Moreover, the result from this study will contribute to the establishment of various policies for safety education in technical high schools.

  • 산학협력을 통한 애니메이션교육의 궁극적인 목표는 올바른 교육을 통해 우리나라 애니메이션산업을 국제경쟁력을 갖춘 산업으로 발전시키기 위한 것이다. 이는 대학만의 노력으로는 안 되고 산학관이 모두 협력하되 창작애니메이션에 대한 주문식 교육에 초점을 맞추어야만 좋은 결실을 얻을 수 있다.

  • 교양교육으로서의 소프트웨어(SW) 교육의 중요성과 필요성은 사회적 공감이 이루어졌다. 하지만, SW 교양교육 학습자의 학습 동기는 다양한 이유로 인해 낮게 유지되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 SW 교양교육에서 학습동기 및 이의 변화에 관한 이해가 필요하지만, 관련 연구가 부족한 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 SW 교육 학습자들의 한 학기 동안의 학습동기 변화를 살펴보기 위해 3 × 2 성취목표 모델을 이용해 성취목표 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들의 성취목표는 집단수준과 개인 수준 모두에서 안정적이었으나, 각 하위 성취목표의 순서는 기존 연구와 차이를 보였다. 또한, 교실목표구조의 숙달목표는 기존 연구보다 높은 강한 상관관계를 보였으나, 수행목표는 일부 회피 목표와만 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 SW교양교과에서의 학습동기는 기존 교양교과와 다른 특징을 가지고 있으므로 SW교과에서 사용하는 교실목표구조 유형에 따른 추가 연구가 필요함을 의미한다.

초등학교 안전교육 내용 체계 개발 연구 (A Study on Development of the Contents System for Safety Education in Elementary School)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop the system for safety education needed to develop the textbooks and teachers' teaching-manual for the safety education in elementary schools. Methods: For this study, literature study and survey for the method were combined. the data were analyzed the basic theory on safety and its related contents, utilized the current elementary textbooks for the analysis of safety education and again analyzed the laws and regulations associated with school safety. Furthermore, through the survey, the status of safety education at elementary schools and the requirements for safety education were examined. Results: On the basis of the reality and theory analyzed for safety education, The authors have set up a goal of safety education. The goal is composed of a summative goal and subordinate goals, and the authors categorized safety education areas into 6. Also It is organized the safety education contents based on 17 hours per year by grade into 25 content-goals and 76 activity-factors. The authors, systematizing those activity factors of safety education, suggested a formation by grade. Conclusion: The result of the study is that it is necessary to carry out the safety education at schools on the ground of the contents system related to the safety education. It is expected that this systematic operation of safety education will be a measure which is more efficient and more effective than the current ones and there will be a positive change in the knowledge of, attitude to and behavior for the safety in elementary schools.

중학교 과학과 교사들의 환경교육 의식에 관한 연구

  • The ultimate goal of environmental education can be said to change students' consciousness and attitude of environment. From this point of view, this study has examined the definition of environment, the necessity of environmental education, the basic principles of environmental education, and significance of teachers in environmental education by surveying previous studies as theoretical background. Then, we have investigated teachers' consciousness and opinion about the real state and problems of present environmental education in schools. The result of this study is as follows. First, though most teachers are conscious of the importance of environmental education in school, they actually cannot practice it because of various preventing factors. Second, for the improvement of teacher's quality, we need studies and trainings on environmental education, Third, as we lack materials and programs necessary for the lectures on environmental education, it is impending to develop and provide it. Fourth, the content and goal of environmental education should be reconstituted and systematized so that they may conform to the viewpoint of students.

야외교육의 전문성 이해와 교육적 지향 (Understanding and expertise in outdoor education and education-oriented)

  • 야외교육은 학습자에게 기대하는 내적 성장부터 생태와 환경까지 다양한 체험을 강조한다. 더불어 야외교육의 공동체성, 생태적 관점 등의 중요성은 시대적 요구이기도 하다. 이러한 야외교육은 우리나라 국가수준의 교육과정에도 반영되어 문서로 제시하고 있다. 하지만 야외교육에 대한 교육목표가 뚜렷하지 않고, 철학적 고민이 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 야외교육에 대한 교육목표를 명확히 하고, 전문성에 대한 담론을 분석해서 지향점을 제시하였다. 야외교육의 전문성에 대해 논의하기 위해 '교사' 전문성, '체육 교사'의 전문성을 분석했다. 야외교육의 지향점으로는 첫째, 총체적 체험과 문제해결능력, 둘째, 반성적 실천가로의 지향으로 구분했다. 이는 야외교육은 효율적 지도방법만을 추구하는 것이 아니라 지도자 자신의 삶과 행위를 통해 지속적으로 성찰하고 실천하는 전문인으로 거듭나야 한다는 것이다. 결론으로는 첫째, 야외교육 체험에서 안전에 대한 문제 해결을 위한 매뉴얼 개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 야외교육을 가르칠 수 있는 전문인 양성을 위한 교과정 개발이 필요하다. 셋째, 야외교육을 학교교육으로 한정하지 않고, 비제도권 교육에 포함시켜야 함을 제시했다.

수상인명구조 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향, 몰입경험 및 자아성취감에 관계된 요인 (Relationship of Goal Orientation, Flow Experience and Self-Accomplishment among College Students Receiving Lifeguard Education)

  • 본 연구는 수상인명구조원 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향, 몰입경험 및 자아성취감에 관계된 요인을 파악하기 위해 시도하였다. 첫째, 수상인명구조원 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향 중 과제관여는 인지몰입과 행동몰입에 자아관여는 인지몰입에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 수상인명구조원 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향의 하위변인인 과제관여는 자아성취감의 자아실현, 능력발휘, 능력개발에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 자아관여는 자아실현에 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 수상인명구조원 교육 참여 대학생들의 몰입경험의 하위변인인 인지몰입과 행위몰입은 자아성취감의 자아실현, 능력발휘, 능력개발에 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 수상인명구조원 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향은 몰입경험과 자아성취감에는 직접적인 관계, 몰입경험을 매개로 자아성취감에 간접적인 인과적 관계가 있다. 이러한 결과들로 보아 수상인명구조원 교육을 주관하는 단체에서는 프로그램 개발을 통하여 자발적으로 교육에 참여하는 교육생들에게 양질의 체계적인 실무 훈련 교육을 통해 인명구조에 대한 자신감 및 교육의 효과를 얻을 것으로 사료된다.

간호시뮬레이션 실습교육이 간호대학생의 학습성과와 수업경험에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Nursing Simulation-Based Practice Education on Learning Outcome and Classes Experience in Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of nursing simulation-based practice education on learning outcome and teaching experience in nursing students. Pretest-posttest design with nonequivalent control group was utilized to analyze the effects of nursing simulation-based practice education. The subjects were 96 students of a nursing college. All subjects participated in 6 week. The data were analyzed by the SPSS win 17.0 program. The results were as follows; There were statistically significant differences in learning outcome and teaching experience effects of nursing simulation-based practice education in nursing students. In conclusion, we required nursing simulation-based practice education and small group discussion analysis of factors are associated with goal-setting skills and self-presentation skills, goal setting skills. We required nursing simulation-based practice education training to strengthen the ability of self-directed learning program utilizing the repeated study.

공과대학생의 그릿-생애목표 군집유형과 성실성 간의 관계 (A Study on the Relationship between Grit - Life Goal Cluster Types and Conscientiousness of Engineering Students)

  • This study examined the relationships among grit, life goal, and conscientiousness of engineering students. In this study, students' goals were categorized into either achievement-oriented goals or life-oriented goals for analysis. A cluster analysis was conducted using students' grit and life goals to analyze their psychological characteristics focusing on conscientiousness A sample of 123 engineering college students participated in this study. Results of correlation analysis showed positive correlations among grit, life goals, and conscientiousness. Results of cluster analysis suggested that student could be categorized into three different groups: Low-grit and high-goals (Group 1), high-grit and high-goals (Group 2), and low-grit and low-goals (Group 3). Among those three groups significant group differences were found in several sub-scales of conscientiousness. Group 1 and 3 showed significant differences in industriousness from Group 2. Group 1 showed significant differences in perfectionism from Group 2 and 3. Based on the findings of this study, theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
