사이버대학 건설 공학 교육 수요와 만족도 조사 (A Study on the Demand and Satisfaction of Construction Education in Cyber University)

  • 사이버대학교에서의 건설공학 교육은 짧은 기간에 수요가 급속하게 성장하고 있으나, 질적 측면에서의 발전 여부에 대한 조사와 평가가 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 사이버대학교 건설공학과 신 편입생들의 특성과 이들의 입학 목표 및 동기를 파악하고, 재학생과 졸업생의 현재 교육에 대한 만족도 조사를 통하여 사이버대학교 건설공학 교육의 부족한 부분에서의 보완할 부분을 파악하고, 보다 더 바람직한 교육을 제공할 수 있는 가이드라인을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 사이버대학교 건설공학 교육의 발전을 위해서는 교육의 내용이 오프라인 대학의 교육과는 차별화가 필요하다. 또한, 전문 건설인이 되기 위하여 신 편입학한 학생들이 자격증 취득 목표를 달성할 수 있고 만족할만한 교육을 제공해야 한다. 다양한 목표를 가지고 있는 학생들을 위하여 기초에서 전문과정까지 폭넓고 다양한 교과목을 제공하여 본인의 목표에 맞는 과목을 선택할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

보육교사의 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 직무환경의 인식 차이 (The Difference of Child-Care Teachers' Perception on the Working Environment by Social and Demographic Characteristics)

  • This study aims to analyze teachers job satisfaction according to the working environment of teachers working in child-care centers and to investigate which variables of the working environment relate to job satisfaction of child-care teachers. The main results of this study were as follows. First, married teachers are more satisfied with the job itself, supervision, and colleague relations compared to teachers who are not married. Teachers with certificates are more satisfied with the job itself compared to teachers without certificates. Second, teachers's job satisfaction is significantly correlated with their salary, welfare, and colleague relations. Also teachers' job satisfaction is correlated with responsibility in the case that teachers have a good relation with their principal and child-care parents. Third, the results of this study show that teachers consider substitute teachers, vacation systems, day care systems, compliant with the ratio of teacher and children, job security, order of legal status as important. With regard to external compensation, teachers want salary increase, payment on overtime labor, flexible work-time, use of both full-time and part-time teachers, expansion of educational materials, increase on purchasing cost for textbooks and materials. To improve the quality of child-care teachers' working environment as well as their satisfaction, practical policies need to be implemented.

국내·외 초음파사의 아랍에미리트 취업 과정에 대한 고찰 (Analysis of Healthcare Employment into United Arab Emirates : Focused on Korean and Overseas Sonographers)

  • This study was intented as an investigation of the employment process into UAE for Korean and overseas sonographers to understand requirements for working abroad in regards to primary education curriculum and employment expansion abroad. A total of 10 candidates are selected who were working together with a job title of a cardiac sonographer in the same department under one hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The candidates had clinical experience over 2 years in other countries after graduation and for 1 year at least in UAE. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, a web search and literature reviews. We analyzed the process regarding their curriculums studying in colleges, educational courses and certificates related medical fields. The findings were created with four essential themes: first, there are specific colleges or diploma courses corresponding academic major in United states, Portugal, Turkey, India and Pakistan. Secondly, healthcare professions were systemized by certifying as a specialist relevant medical fields. Thirdly, it is mandatory to be employed in UAE that are clinical experience for 2 years at least after graduation of specific courses. Lastly, It is required to work in UAE that is a license of healthcare authority under each state by taking a national examination or transferring own certificates to a current license in UAE. In conclusion, the results indicate that employing process for healthcare professionals depends on the educational requirements or clinical experience accumulated due to the various systems to be certified in each country. We believe that this study suggests experimental information for Korean job seekers considering working abroad in the medical ultrasound fields.

노인병 인정의 양성 교육: 만족도와 현실성 (Certificate Education for Geriatric Physician: Satisfaction and Feasibility)

  • Objectives : Korea faces a number of challenges to meet demands in the area of geriatric professional medicine in a country with a rapidly ageing population. We evaluated the satisfaction and feasibility of the current education certification for geriatric physicians. Methods : Geriatric physicians who were deemed qualified by the Korean Geriatrics Society during the period of 2001 to 2005 (n=2,200) were asked to complete structured questionnaires sent to them by mail about their satisfaction of and need for certificates of education, as well as their opinions on their geriatric specialty training. A total of 419 physicians responded. Descriptive analysis and hierarchical regression were performed to rate the respondents' satisfaction, the characteristics of the need for clarity and utility in education certification, and the characteristics of their patients. Results : Although most respondents were satisfied with their education certification, those who had more elderly patients, aged 65 or older, and those who had more cognitively impaired patients, rated their education as significantly lower than did other physicians. Both groups expressed the need for more the comprehensive care and assessment concerning of their education. Multiple regression analysis indicated that satisfaction with geriatric physician qualification was associated with a physician's age, specialty, and percentage of elderly patients. Conclusions : This study suggests that the current system of education certification is limited in terms of feasibility and physician satisfaction.

저출생 현상 대책을 위한 상향식 유아교육·보육정책 방안 수립 연구 (Research to Establish Bottom-up Early Childhood Educational/Child Care Policy Plan for Preventing Low Birth Rate)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 저출생 현상의 심각성을 공감하고, 저출생 현상과 관련하여 그 원인에 대한 분석과 이에 대한 유아교육·보육정책 방안 수립에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 특히 기존의 상부하달의 하향식 유아교육·보육정책 방안 수립에서 탈피하여 유아교육·보육 관련 구성원의 목소리가 정책에 반영될 수 있게 하는 상향식 유아교육·보육정책 방안을 수립하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 델파이 기법을 활용하여 연구를 수행하였고, 유아교육 및 보육 분야 전문가 20인을 전문가 패널로 구성하였다. 본 연구에서는 저출생 현상 대책을 위한 상향식 유아교육·보육정책 방안으로 '기회' 준거에 7개의 정책, '서비스' 준거에 11개의 정책, '재화/상품권/세금감면' 준거에 8개의 정책, '현금급여' 준거에 7개의 정책, '권력' 준거에 5개의 정책이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서 제안된 저출생 현상 대책을 위한 상향식 유아교육·보육정책 방안은 우리나라 저출생 현상을 해결함에 있어 구체적인 시사점이 되기를 희망한다.

윤리교과교육의 학문적 정체성비판과 근본적 문제 (The Criticism of Scientific Identity of Moral Subject and It's Basic Problem)

  • 한국 사회에서 도덕, 윤리 교육의 위기는 학문적 정체성을 명확히 확립하지 못한 데에서 출발한다. 일제시대에는 식민지 의식을 고취하기 위해 '수신'과목으로 출발하여, 미군정기 이후에는 '국민윤리'로서 개칭되면서 순수한 의미의 도덕교육과 일종의 반공교육과 정치 이데올로기 교육을 결합시켜 정체불명의 교과목을 만들어 정권 선전의 의도와 역할을 공공연히 담당하도록 만들었다. 그러나 윤리교육의 학적 근거는 윤리학이며, 윤리학은 철학의 분과 학문이다. 이러한 명확한 사실을 피하기 위해서 일부 학자들은 도덕, 윤리 교과의 학제적 성격은 말하지만, 이것이 오히려 기존의 도덕, 윤리 교과의 학적 근거를 다른 학문에 나눠주는 예상치 못한 결과를 초래하여 교육학에 교사 자격을 허용하게 만들고, 나아가 사회학에 교과가 통합될 위기에 처할 빌미를 제공해버리고 말았다. 윤리학의 모학문인 철학은 이미 고대로부터 학제적 성격이 아닌 통합학문의 이념을 가지고 있었으므로 다른 학문들에서 학적 근거를 찾을 필요가 없다. 이제 도덕, 윤리 교육은 다시 순수한 의미의 도덕, 윤리의 역할을 되찾을 필요가 있다. 과거의 체제수호적인 반공교육이나 사회과학적 정치 교육은 해당 과목에 귀속시키고 윤리교육의 본래적 목적을 구현하여 현행 도덕 교과서의 학습 목표에 따라 다양한 도덕 문제들을 "합리적으로 해결할 수 있는 판단능력"과 "삶의 이상과 원리를 체계화하여 실천할 수 있는 도덕적 성향을 길러" 주는데 역점을 두어야 할 것이다.

실용음악 전공학생들의 취업 활로 모색에 관한 고찰 -자격증의 필요성과 활용 방향에 대하여- (A Study on Employment Channels to Find A Way for Practical Music Students -About the Need and the Direction of Use of The Certification-)

  • 30여 년의 결코 짧지 않은 실용음악과 역사 속에서 수많은 졸업생들이 배출되었음에도 불구하고 학생들의 취업은 여전히 풀 수 없는 과제로 남아있다. 졸업생들의 대부분이 학원 강사 혹은 밴드활동 등으로 취업을 하게 되는데, 모두 안정적 생활을 기대할 수 없는 비정규직이다. 국력신장과 더불어 K-POP의 비약적인 발전은 우리의 삶 또한 바꿔놓았고 그로 인해 과거, 사치로만 인식되었던 문화 예술분야가 대중에게 급격히 다가오게 되었다. 단순히 관람만이 아닌 직접 배우고, 익히고, 체험하는 형태로 우리 삶의 질 향상에 매우 큰 영향을 끼치고 있다. 이는 국가적인 정책에도 반영되어, 초, 중, 고등학교에서의 문화예술분야 교육프로그램운영을 비롯한 각 지역 주민센터에서 주민복지 향상을 위한 예술프로그램 운영 등으로 나타나고 있다. 이젠 해당 분야로도 취업 안목을 넓혀야 할 것이며, 이에 따라 자격증 취득관련프로그램을 활성화시켜 취업에 도움이 될 수 있도록 매진해야 할 것이다. 이와 아울러 현재의 음악전공 중등교사 자격증과는 다른 실용음악분야 중등교사 자격증 과정을 만들어야 한다. 4년제 대학의 교직과정 이수, 혹은 실용음악 전문 교육 대학원 설립 등이 매우 절실한 상황이다.

우리나라 소년범(少年犯) 교정교육(稿正敎育)의 실태(實態) 문제점(問題點) (A Study of Correctional Education for Juvenile Delinquents in Korea)

  • Nowdays the prison is the only correctional for juvenile delinquents not to be the second offenders in Korea. Originally the correctional education aims to let criminals go back to the society as a decent citizen after correcting them and prevent them from comminitting crimes repeatedly. Being considered to increase the second offenders in juvenile delinquency, the purpose of this study is to investigate the actual condition and problems of juvenile correctional education in Korea and to find out the solution of problems. First of all, this study examines the actual condition of the juvenile delinquency in Korea. The number of juvenile crimes has been increased from 1985 to 1995. In 1997, the current education in correctinal institutions for juvenile delinquents is inferior to that of developed countries. On the basis of this investigation, improvement plans which will be fit for the circumstances in Korea are suggested. The conclusion of this study are summarized as follows 1. Correctional institutions will be improved to accommodate the proper number of convicts. 2. Correctional officers should be qualified proffessinals who can achieve the aim of correctional education successfully. 3. In order to cultivate he social adaptability of convicts, the expansion of open prison is needed. 4. It is neccessary to classify convicts by means of moderized and scientific methods. 5. Correctinal education consist of various practical courses on jobs, After complenting these vocatinal training, the convict can obtain certificates. 6. The government has to has to plan policies that the released convicts can get jobs for living. 7. Owing to keeping prisons sanitary, it is very helpful for convicts to have thebelief that they are not abandoned by the member of their society. 8. Convicts are given opportunities to participate religious activities by their free-will. If above improvement plans are sufficiently accomplished, correctinal education will obtain good results, It is also effective to minimize the repetition of offence by ex-convicts.

Parasitic Diseases as the Cause of Death of Prisoners of War during the Korean War (1950-1953)

  • To determine the cause of death of prisoners of war during the Korean War (1950-1953), death certificates or medical records were analyzed. Out of 7,614 deaths, 5,013 (65.8%) were due to infectious diseases. Although dysentery and tuberculosis were the most common infectious diseases, parasitic diseases had caused 14 deaths: paragonimiasis in 5, malaria in 3, amoebiasis in 2, intestinal parasitosis in 2, ascariasis in 1, and schistosomiasis in 1. These results showed that paragonimiasis, malaria, and amoebiasis were the most fatal parasitic diseases during the early 1950s in the Korean Peninsula. Since schistosomiasis is not endemic to Korea, it is likely that the infected private soldier moved from China or Japan to Korea.

인적자원 개발과 활용 관점에서 본 전업주부정책 (The Full-time Housewives Support Policy from the Perspectives of Human Resource Development and Utilization)

  • This study was performed to discuss how to develop policies to support social participation by full-time housewives, from the perspectives of human resource development and utilization. This study focused on three areas of potential human resource development: (a) labor force participation (b) social education (c) volunteerism. It analyzed the related "social infrastructures," especially labor market situation and child care systems. The current governmental policies and other social programs implemented by various institutions as well as the relevant literatures were reviewed. The preliminary policy proposals outlined in this study were evaluated by the policy developers and experts through several hearings and discussions. Programs proposed from this study were as follows : (a) programs to support housewives who wish to find employment or create a self-owned business, (b) educational programs exclusively offered for full time housewives, and (c) programs to award certificates and rewards and to create paid employment tied to volunteer work. In addition, the ways how to ameliorate the gender discrimination by changing the labor and social environments and institutionalizing the child care were discussed.
