현장 항만 콘크리트 구조물에 대한 염소이온 침투 해석 (Analysis of Chloride ion Penetration for In-Situation Harbor Concrete Structures)

  • 본 논문에서는 확산과 수분이동에 의한 침투를 함께 고려할 수 있는 염소이온침투 모델을 제시하고 이를 바탕으로 유한요소 프로그램을 개발한다. 개발된 프로그램을 이용하여 습도와 온도가 연속적으로 변화하는 현장상태에 대한 염소이온 침투 해석을 수행한다. 해석과정으로 먼저 수분확산해석을 수행한다. 이 해석에 의한 각 유한요소의 상대습도를 바탕으로 염소이온 침투해석을 위한 재료상수를 구한다. 이러한 재료상수를 이용하여 염소이온 침투해석을 수행하게 된다. 각 유한요소들은 시간과 재령에 따라 연속적으로 변화하는 재료상수 값을 가지게 된다. 내외부의 상대습도 차이가 크면 수분이동에 의한 염소이온 침투의 영향이 커지지만 내외부의 상대습도의 차이는 수분확산에 의해서 재령에 따라 감소하므로 수분이동에 의한 염소이온 침투의 영향은 재령에 따라 감소한다. 반복 습윤은 수분이동에 의한 염소이온 침투의 영향을 증가시켜 철근 주위의 염소이온 농도를 커지게 한다. 현장상황과 같이 건습의 반복이 장기적으로 발생하게 되면 수착과 확산을 함께 고려한 염소이온 침투량이 수분이동을 고려하지 않은 염소이온 침투량보다 매우 크다. 따라서, 항만 콘크리트 구조물에 대한 염소이온 침투해석을 장기재령동안 수행할 경우에는 수분이동 메커니즘을 포함한 수치 모델링을 바탕으로 건습의 반복을 고려하여 해석을 수행하는 것이 해석의 오차를 줄일 수 있을 것이다.

Age-related Changes in Plasma Leptin from Early Growing to Late Finishing Stages of Castrated Holstein Steers: Utilizing Multi-species Leptin RIA

  • This experiment was performed to understand the changes in plasma leptin in association with plasma IGF-1, body weight and ADG from early growing to late finishing stages of Holstein steers. Blood collection was performed by arterial vein puncture at selected monthly ages of 1 (54 kg), 2.6 (103 kg), 7.2 (205 kg), 13.5 (314 kg), 16.9 (414 kg), 22.2 (550 kg), 24.9 (626 kg) and 27.4 months (695 kg). The blood was analyzed for leptin using the multi-species leptin RIA with recombinant bovine leptin (rbleptin) as standard, plasma IGF-1 was also measured using RIA. Against the standard rbleptin, the multi-species Leptin RIA system's sensitivity, cross reactivity, slope and recovery of 41.0 ng/ml rbleptin in plasma were 4.9 ng/ml, 11.22%, -1.396 and 97.8%, respectively. Plasma leptin measured were more than 5.0 ng/ml, which enable multi-species RIA system to investigate plasma leptin in normal growing steers. Body weight resulted to a highly significant second-degree polynomial relationship with plasma leptin (q=0.54, p<0.0001) and plasma IGF-1 (q=0.44, p<0.0001) from 1 to 27.4 monthly ages. However, the second-degree polynomial curve of plasma leptin and IGF-1 differs showing a concave and convex curvilinear relationship, respectively. ADG was not significantly associated to plasma leptin (r=0.06, p>0.05) and plasma IGF=1 (r=0.06, p>0.05) from 1 to 27.4 monthly ages. Low coefficient, but significant associated increase of plasma leptin and IGF-1 (r=0.12, p<0.008) from 1 to 27.4 months was observed. The uncoordinated increases of plasma IGF-1 at growing and plasma leptin at fattening period, may indicate (1) indirect involvement of endogenous IGF-1 on leptin secretion, and (2) IGF-1 level may signify lean and bone accretion while plasma leptin may mirror body fatness across the monthly ages of Holstein steers.

조기 유학 후 귀국한 초등학생의 발음 이상에 대한 음성학적 연구 (Phonetic analysis of Korean elementary students who had overseas study at early ages)

  • 목 적: 해외귀국학생들의 수가 매년 증가하고 있다. 이들은 우리말의 체계가 완전히 확립되기 전 다른 언어의 영향을 받고 성장하여 우리말의 이해가 어렵고, 발음이 어눌하여 학업이나 교우관계에 문제가 발생하게 된다. 본 연구는 해외귀국학생의 한국어발음 특징을 음향, 음성학적 방법으로 분석하였다. 방 법: 우리말의 파열음(ㅂ, ㅃ, ㅍ, ㄷ, ㄸ, ㅌ, ㄱ, ㄲ, ㅋ) 9개를 VCV 형식으로 녹음하여 폐쇄구간과 기식구간 길이와 비율을 측정하였다. 해외귀국학생 군과 국내거주학생 간 파열음의 조음오류의 비율과 유형을 비교하고 조음위치와 발성유형에 따른 음향음성학적 특성을 분석, 비교하였다. 결 과: 해외귀국학생 군과 국내거주학생 군 간 조음오류 비율은 해외귀국학생 군 19.4%, 국내거주학생 군 2%로 나타났다. 해외귀국학생군의 발음 오류 중 가장 많이 나타난 유형으로 발성 유형의 오류는 경음화, 조음 위치의 오류는 비음화 이었다. 해외귀국초등학생 군이 국내거주 초등학생군 보다 모든 조음위치와 발성유형에서 파열음의 폐쇄구간, 기식구간 길이가 유의하게 길게 나타났다. 그러나 대상군간 폐쇄구간 대 기식구간의 길이의 비율을 비교한 결과 유의하지 않았다. 결 론: 해외귀국학생은 국내거주학생보다 파열음 산출에 조음 오류가 더 자주 일어나며 국내거주학생보다 각 조음위치에 따른 발성유형을 분류하여 정확한 발음을 찾아 산출하는 우리말 발화속도가 느리다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 해외귀국초등학생 발음의 음향음성학적 문제점을 이해하고 추후 해외귀국초등학생의 조음을 평가하는 객관적인 자료에 도움이 될 것이다.

골격성 전치부 반대교합 아동의 치아성숙도에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE DENTAL MATURATION IN CHILDREN WITH SKELETAL ANTERIOR CROSSBITE)

  • 전치부 교환기의 반대교합 아동에서는 골격적 특성이 강할수록 상하 치아의 성숙도에 현격한 차이가 있음을 쉽게 관찰할수 있다. 파노라마 방사선 사진으로 평가가 가능한 상하 치령의 차이가 III급 부정교합의 조기 징후로 개연성이 있다면, 이것은 조기 감별진단의 한 도구로써 가치가 있을 것으로 판단되었다. 부산대학교치과병원 소아치과에 내원한 Hellman 치령 IIA, IIC의 환자를 대상으로, 측두방사선사진, 파노라마 방사선사진, 석고 모형과 임상사진을 조사하여 정상교합군과 전치부 반대교합군 각 50명을 선택하였다. 이들의 파노라마 방사선사진을 이용하여 Demirjian법으로 각 군의 상하 치령 및 제1대구치 맹출율을 구하고 그 차이를 비교, 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 정상교합군과 반대교합군 모두에서 역령에 비해 치령이 높게 나타났으며 성차는 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). 2. 정상교합군과 반대교합군의 상하 치령의 차이는 각각 0.22세와 0.69세로 반대교합군에서 더 큰 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 3. 정상교합군에 비해 반대교합군에서 상하 제1대구치 맹출율의 차이가 크게 나타났다(p<0.05).

Modeling of Compressive Strength Development of High-Early-Strength-Concrete at Different Curing Temperatures

  • High-early-strength-concrete (HESC) made of Type III cement reaches approximately 50-70 % of its design compressive strength in a day in ambient conditions. Experimental investigations were made in this study to observe the effects of temperature, curing time and concrete strength on the accelerated development of compressive strength in HESC. A total of 210 HESC cylinders of $100{\times}200mm$ were tested for different compressive strengths (30, 40 and 50 MPa) and different curing regimes (with maximum temperatures of 20, 30, 40, 50 and $60^{\circ}C$) at different equivalent ages (9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 100 and 168 h) From a series of regression analyses, a generalized rate-constant model was presented for the prediction of the compressive strength of HESC at an early age for its future application in precast prestressed units with savings in steam supply. The average and standard deviation of the ratios of the predictions to the test results were 0.97 and 0.22, respectively.

Fracture property of steel fiber reinforced concrete at early age

  • This research is focused on obtaining the fracture property of steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC) specimens at early ages of 1, 2, 3 and 7-day, respectively. For this purpose, three point bending tests of nine groups of SFRC beams with notch of 40mm depth and different steel fiber ratios were conducted. The experimental results of early age specimens were compared with the 28-day hardened SFRC specimens. The test results indicated that the steel fiber ratios and curing age significantly influenced the fracture properties of SFRC. A reasonable addition of steel fiber improved the fracture toughness of SFRC, while the fracture energy of SFRC developed with curing age. Moreover, a quadratic relationship between splitting strength and fracture toughness was established based on the experiment results. Additionally, afinite element (FE) method was used to investigate the fracture properties of SFRC.A comparison between the FE analysis and experiment results was also made. The numerical analysis fitted well with the test results, and further details on the failure behaviors of SFRC could be revealed by the suggested numerical simulation method.

유아 조기특기교육의 실태와 어머니 양육신념과의 관계 (Relationship between the Actual State of Extra Curricula Education for Kindergarteners and Maternal Beliefs Regarding Child Rearing)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between the actual state of extra curricula education for kindergarteners and maternal beliefs regarding child rearing. This study included 238 mothers who had a child that was either four or five years old and currently attending private kindergarten in Seoul, Korea. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) 222 of the subjects indicated that their children participated early in extra curricula education, and 56 of the respondents reported that their children were involved in four types of extra curricula education. 2) In general, the respondents indicated that they felt extra curricula activities were more important for instilling values regarding humanity to children of very young ages than for learning and that the environment in which a child is raised is more important than maturity when rearing children. 3) Parental beliefs regarding humanity and learning were significantly correlated with the actual state of extra curricula education in kindergarteners.

청소년 전기 남학생의 인체 계측치에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Body Measurements of Early Adolescent Boys)

  • The purpose of this study was to systematize accurate data about the body measurements of early adolescent boys, as there was a broad individual variance between their bodies, and it's additionally attempted to identify the unique physical characteristics of different age groups. The subjects in this study were boys who were at the ages of 10 to 14 in the capital area. Their bodies were measured by anthropometric and photographic method, and data on 549 boys were analyzed. The total of 100 items(47 anthropometric items, 10 indexed items and 43 photographic items) were selected to be measured. For data analysis were performed descriptive statistics, ANOVA and Duncan test using SPSS Ver. 10. The results of the study are as follows. According to the result of comparing the body measurements of early adolescent boys, a period of active growth and a period of slow growth were repeated alternately as they aged and the age of active growth tended to get younger.

  • This study reviewed the characteristics of concrete made of performance improving mixture materials based on KOH as a means to resolve the problems of initial quality reduction that result in concretes with blast furnace slag powder. Summarizing the results, first as the characteristics of fresh concrete, liquidity was found to reduce in general with increased BS substitution ratio. Objective range of liquidity was not satisfied in all mixes according to the use of performance improving mixture materials. Air capacity was satisfied to the objective range in all mixes. As the characteristics of hardened concrete, while compressive strength showed a decreasing trend with increasing BS substitution ratio at early age, increasing trend was shown by the plain with increasing BS substitution ratio at later age. On the other hand, K1 and K2 were only effective among mixture materials at early age, but K1F30 showed excellent strength at both early and later ages.

Monitoring of Strength Gain in Concrete Using Smart PZT Transducers

  • This paper presents the feasibility of using electromechanical impedance based active sensing technique for nondestructive strength gain monitoring of early-age concrete by employing piezoelectric lead-zirconate-titanate (PZT) patches on concrete surface. The strength development of early age concrete is actively monitored by performing a series of experiments on concrete specimens under moist curing condition. The electrical admittance signatures are acquired for five different curing ages and compared with each other. The resonant frequency shifts of PZT patches with increasing days is observed which is on account of additional stiffening due to strength gain of concrete during curing and level of stiffening being related to strength obtained from compression tests on companion cylinder specimens. The proposed approach is found to be suitable for monitoring the development of compressive strength in early-age concrete. It is also observed in this study that root mean square deviation (RMSD) in admittance signatures of the PZT patches can also be used as an indicator of concrete strength development.
