  • The B2B e-Marketplace connected a number of suppliers and buyers offers the opportunity to form more flexible supply chain and requires to transform the business process of purchasing transactions between suppliers and buyers to new environment. So, firms in e-Marketplace will become increasingly aware of need to improve and extend their existing processes. In order to provide the reference model for these firms, we have developed a standardized model of business process for retail industry that incorporates several important features of purchasing process in e-Marketplace. The paper describes these features and discusses the use of the model in retail industry.

Reliability Characteristics of Class-E Power Amplifier using Class-F Driving Circuit (Class-F 구동회로를 사용하는 Class-E 전력 증폭기의 신뢰성)

  • A class-E CMOS RF(Radio frequency) power amplifier with a 1.8 Volt power supply is designed using $0.25{\mu}m$ standard CMOS technology. To drive the class-E power amplifier, a Class-F RF power amplifier is used and the reliability characteristics are studied with a class-E load network. After one year of operating the power amplifier with an RF choke, the PAE(Power Added Efficiency) decreases from 60% to 47% and the output power decreases 29%. However, when a finite DC-feed inductor is used with the load, the PAE decreases from 60% to 53% and the output power decreases only 19%. The simulated results demonstrate that the class-E power amplifier with a finite DC-feed inductor exhibits superior reliability characteristics.

  • To improve the aerodynamic effciency of TR-E2, a new configuration so called TR-E2Sl was introduced. TR-2251 is composed of different wing airfoil section and T-tail shape compared with TR-E2. Wind tunnel test for TR-EBS1 had been performed by changing the incidence angles of wing and deflection angles of control surfaces such as elevator and rudder. Also the on/off effect of ventral fin attached underneath of AFT fuselage was tested. Test result showed that variations of wing incidence angle did not cause any severe differences in aerodynamic characteristics. Longitudinal and directional characteristics of TR-E2S1 show stable for the pitch and yaw motions. However, the lateral stability of TR-E2S1 is not stable for a certain control surface deflection.

  • 게임 시장은 신기술과 함께 꾸준한 발전을 해왔다. 최근 NFT, 블록체인, 메타버스, XR, AI, P2E등 새로운 기술과 신개념이 홍수처럼 쏟아져 이슈가 되면서, 산업계와 학계는 자연스럽게 그 어느 때 보다 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 하지만, P2E는 예전부터 유사한 형태로 존재해왔음에도 불구하고, 규제에 발목이 잡혀있으며, 유저들은 우회하는 방식을 통해 P2E게임을 플레이 하거나, P2E전용 게임이 아닌 게임에 대해서도 많은 현금거래를 하고 있다. P2E게임 규제 실효성과 플레이어들의 인식에 대해 연구하고자 하고자 한다.

  • The dependency on technology has increased with the increase in population. Technology plays a crucial role in facilitating, organizing and securing people's life nowadays. The Internet has penetrated every face of present-day lifestyles. Yet another ubiquitous use of digital technology today is evident in transferring money and speeding cross border payments that are done through digital transactions. This paper investigates transferring money and data through banks and companies by using the Blockchain concept through decentralized distributed system. The present research also peruses several contexts in which this technology has already been implemented successfully and demonstrates the advantages of replacing the paper money with digital money. Using cryptocurrency will facilitate people's life by reducing time, securing the process of money transfer, and increasing data integrity. The primary benefit of this content analysis is that it addresses an innovative subject, in a new light and using timely recent research references drawn from 2018-2020. Thus, our study is a contemporary and conclusive source for all present and future endeavours being undertaken in the domain of using blockchain for e-transactions.

Designing and Efficient Web Service Transaction Protocol Using 2PC and THP

  • Web services provide an effective means to carry out coordinated transactions between multiple, independent business parties. While there are several specific protocols currently being discussed to address the coordination of web services-enabled business transactions, we consider the tentative hold protocol (THP) that allows the placement of tentative holds on business resources prior to actual transactions in order to provide increased flexibility in coordination. In this paper, we present a formal coordination framework for applying THP in conjunction with 2PC to the problem in which service providers independently manage resources and clients seek to acquire the resources from multiple providers as a single atomic transaction. The proposed framework facilitates the performance optimization of THP through effective parameterization with the notion of overhold size and hold duration. The simulation results show that the proposed adaptive approach yields a significant improvement over other non-adaptive policies.

  • As Temporal DataBase Systems(TDBSs) manages both the historical versions and the current version of each data item, a temporal transaction may access more data records than atransaction in traditional database systems. Hence, the concurrency control subsystem of temporaldatabase management system should be able to correctly and efficiently detect actual conflicts amongconcurrent temporal transactions while the cost of detecting conflicts is maintained in low levelwithout detecting false conflicts which cause severe degradation of system throughput.In this paper, Two-Level Conflict Detection(TLCD) scheme is proposed for efficient conflictdetection between concurrent temporal transactions in TDBs. In the proposed TLCD scheme, sincechecking conflict between concurrent temporal transactions is performed at two levels, i, e., logicallevel and physical level, conflicts between concurrent temporal transactions are efficiently and correctlydetected,Furthermore, we also evaluate the performance of the proposed TLCD scheme with those oftraditional conflict detection schemes, logical-level conflict detection scheme and physical-level conflictdetection scheme by simulation approach, The result of the simulation study shows that the proposedTLCD scheme outperforms the previous conflict detection schemes with respect to the averageresponse time.

A Broker Based Synchronous Transaction Algorithm For Virtual Market Place (마켓 시스템에서 거래를 위한 브로커 기반 동기화 거래 알고리즘)

  • Internet-based electronic trade has been growing fast. But most users are not yet familiar with the system and find it very difficult to purchase and sell the products in the cyber market place. To handle these problems, agent-based virtual market place system has been proposed where agents instead of individuals participate in trading of goods. Most of the proposed models have been in the two general categories. The first is the direct transaction among sellers and buyers, and the second is the agent-based transaction. However, the transaction is not fair and the best deal can't be guaranteed for both models. In this paper, we propose a new broker based synchronous transaction algorithm which is fair to both parties and guarantees the best deal. Our algorithm is implemented using Visual C++ and the experimental results show that our method is better than the two traditional transaction models in every performance metrics, Number of transactions are increased up to 21% and price adjustment is up to 280% better for some transactions.

  • Since the end of World War II, the standby letters of credit have been used as a surety device, serving as a performance bond and guarantee in the world. In Korea, the standby letters of credit have been also being used in international transactions. But there have been a few studies on the standby letters of credit. This study is carrying out to reveal the characteristics of the standby letters of credit and the documentary letters of credit and also between the standby letters of credit and guarantees. Secondly, this study is carrying out to indicate types of practical use of standby letters of credit in international transactions, i.e. bid bonds, performance bonds, advanced payment guarantees etc.. Finally, this study is carrying out to indicate governig rules regarding standby letters of credit, i.e. URCG, URDG, UCP, UN Convention on Independent Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit, ISP etc..

  • There are increasing needs for an individual or enterprise to interchange documents electronically through communication network to enhance the efficiency of business, owing to rapid process of transactions. But e-commerce encounters the problems regarding the handling the electronic documents, that is to say, deposit and proof of the electronic documents. This paper deals with Authorized Electronic Data Depot as an integrated system for processing, relaying and proving documents that. Authorized Electronic Data Depot operates as e-enabler in exchanging documents in trust among administrative agencies and a comprehensive government directory, digital government seal certification system and DNS system. Authorized Electronic Data Depot leads public and private sectors to save the paper-related costs. But the regulations concerning an authorized electronic data depot is introduced in the course of revision of Electronic Transactions Act. The purpose of this paper is to suggest some guidelines in legalizing the authorized electronic data depot.
