e-Learning 질향상을 위한 교수자 연수과정 개발사례 (A Case Study of Developing an e-Learning Teacher Training Program for Promoting Quality e-Learning Teaching)

  • 정보통신기술의 발단과 함께 학교교육에서도 e-Learning이 급격히 증가하고 있지만, 새로운 교수방법의 활용에 따른 교수자 연수 프로그램의 보급은 미흡하다. 이에 한국산업인력공단에서는 공단에서 실시하는 e-Learning의 질 향상을 목적으로 e-Learning에서 교수활동을 제공하는 교수자의 능력향상을 위한 e-Learning 강사과정을 개발하였다. 과정개발을 위하여 e-Learning 교수자의 역할 및 역량을 탐색하고 현재 개발된 과정에 대한 분석과 설문조사를 실시하여 내용구성이 이루어졌다. e-Learning에서의 교수자 역할을 콘텐츠개발과 운영으로 나누어, 개발 및 운영에 공통적으로 필요한 이론적 기반의 공통 모듈, 콘텐츠개발 모듈, e-Learning 운영모듈 등 3개 모듈로 개발하였다. 이들 모듈은 e-Learning 콘텐츠 개발과정 및 e-Learning 운영과정 등 2개의 과정으로 교수자의 역할에 따라 선택적으로 학습할 수 있도록 하였으며, 각각의 과정에 공통모듈이 포함되도록 하였다. 이들 과정은 e-Learning에 참여하고자 하는 교수자에게 e-Learning에 대한 인식제고 및 교수활동에 실제적인 도움을 주어 e-Learning 발전에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • e-Learning은 면대면 접촉 없이 정보기술을 기반으로 학습이 진행된다는 측면에서 전통적인 집합교육과 다른 학습행태가 기대된다. 이 논문은 e-Learning을 수행하는 학습자들의 학습행태에 대하여 살펴보고, 아울러 학습자 특성 및 e-Learning 수강 경험에 따른 e-Learning 학습행태의 차이를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 지난 2년간 e-Learning 강좌 수강 경험이 있는 성인학습자를 대상으로 학습행태 관련 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, e-Learning 학습행태는 학습자들의 성별, 학력, 직업, 등의 학습자 특성과 소속기업 규모 및 업종 등의 업무 환경에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 수강한 강좌의 특성도 학습행태에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다.

유통산업 인력 역량강화를 위한 이러닝 콘텐츠 정보공개 항목에 관한 연구 (A Study on e-learning Contents Opening Information for Distribution Industry Labor Competence)

  • Purpose - Although e-learning has this advantage, currently many organizations have failed to recognize the necessity for basic e-learning educational training. It follows that practitioners working in the above organizations face the difficulty of having to find educational training processes of boosting their capabilities by themselves, rather than being able to utilize the educational training processes offered by e-learning. So of their own accord, learners have considered the necessity of information relating to being able to choose between high quality educational training processes. The purpose of this study is to propose opening e-learning content information for enabling an efficient choice of learning processes related to e-learning. Research design, data, and methodology - To pinpoint the items of e-learning content information, the study was initiated according to the following process. First, information relating to e-learning content (offered on e-learning websites) was researched. Second, based on the items of information which emerged from the research, selection and validity verification took place with 5 e-learning specialists as the subjects. Third, the opinions of adult learners at K University were collated relating to the items of information which emerged from the research. Results - The e-learning content information was comprised of 16 items in order to improve the choosing process for learner's e-learning contents. The analysis results showed that when learners were choosing e-learning processes, the most highly considered item was 'mobile support' (4.35). Following this (in order) were 'tuition fees' (4.30), 'certificate issuing' (4.23), and 'awareness of educational institution' (4.18). The least considered items were 'recruiting learners' (3.01) and 'tutor support' (3.18). Conclusions - The 16 items of e-learning content information in this study, were deemed to be helpful to learners in providing them with a choice of desirable e-learning process when this process was offered to them. Following this, there is a need for service institutions offering e-learning processes to make public the information suggested by this study. Research into educational methods additionally points to a necessity for not only e-learning forms, but also offline educational methods and a combination of blended learning to be offered and run parallel to e-learning.

대학생의 e-러닝 학습양식과 성격유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the learning styles in an e-learning and Psychological Types in University Student)

  • 이 연구에서는 성격유형 검사 도구와 e-러닝 학습양식 도구를 이용하여 대학생의 계열별, 성별, 인터넷 사용량과 e-러닝 학습양식의 관계를 알아보고, e-러닝 학습양식과 성격유형의 관계를 알아보았다. 연구 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 계열별(공과계열, 인문 사회계열, 예 체능계열) 대학생간에 e-러닝 학습양식의 유형은 같다. 대학생들이 주로 사용하는 e-러닝 학습양식은 환경의존적 자기주도 학습형, 적극적 협동 학습형, 독자적 자율 학습형, 소극적 학습형의 순서이다. 둘째, 성별 e-러닝 학습양식은 다르다. 남,녀 모두 환경의존적 자기주도 학습형이 많지만 특히 여학생의 경우 더 높게 나타났으며 남학생은 적극적 협동학습형이 상대적으로 높다. 셋째, 인터넷 사용량에 따른 e-러닝 학습양식의 차이가 없다. 넷째, 성격유형 즉, 외향/내향, 감각/직관, 사고/감정, 판단/인식형에 따른 e-러닝 학습양식의 차이는 없다. 따라서 성격유형은 e-러닝 학습양식에 영향을 미치지 않는다.

공과대학생의 이러닝 강좌 수강행태, 수강동기, 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Learning Behavior, Learning Motivation and Satisfaction of Engineering Students in e-Learning)

  • The purpose of this study is to give the preliminary data and suggestion for introducing and spreading e-learning engineering education through analyzing learning behaviors, learning motivations, and satisfaction of e-learning engineering students. Especially, this comparative study analyzes each research domain according to majors and grades, thereby suggesting more specific and practical results. 2,745 students registered in 38 subjects of e-learning in 2 Universities were analyzed for this study. The study result shows that engineering students are attending around 2 e-learning subjects with a duration of about 30 minutes once a week. The main of learning motivation for e-learning was not easy test level and feasibility of acquiring credit but advantages of e-learning such as freedom of time and space, learning by repetition. The satisfaction scores of e-learning were lower compared to the aspects of system and contents Based on these results, first, an active spread of e-learning to engineering education is necessary because the demand from the engineering students is high enough and they have desirable learning behavior and learning motivation for it. Second, the characteristics of grades need to be taken into consideration on operation of e-learning. Third, a successful e-learning process needs more meticulous and active operation.

기업교육 이러닝 콘텐츠의 동향과 발전 방향 (Trends and Future Directions of Corporate e-learning Contents)

  • Purpose - One of the biggest problems in the e-learning distribution process is the lack of quality content and learners' discredit in e-learning content. In order to respond to the various demands of the corporate education field appropriately, it is necessary to search for directions of new e-learning models that are out of traditional e-learning contents. The purpose of this study is to identify recent trend issues related to corporate e-learning and to suggest directions for development. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on the literature review, trend issues that should be considered important in corporate e-learning were derived. Online survey was conducted to evaluate the importance-feasibility of each issue to 13 experts on e-learning and corporate education. The contents of the questionnaire are as follows: 1) recognition of importance and feasibility of trend issues to be considered important in the future corporate education field; 2) factors to be considered in developing future e-learning contents. Results - Six trends derived from a comprehensive literature review. The most important e-learning trends for corporate education field were 'mobile learning', 'micro learning', 'blended learning', 'social learning', 'adaptive learning', 'engaged learning'. As a result of evaluating the importance and feasibility of each issue, experts point out that 'mobile learning' and 'micro learning' should be actively considered for introduction and utilization at present. In addition, 'social learning' and 'blended learning' need to be actively considered in the near future. On the other hand, experts recognized that 'adaptive learning' and 'engaged learning' need to be prepared from a long-term perspective. Conclusions - There are two main reasons for this result. First, in corporate e-learning, it is important to 1) be able to update on time, 2) the connection with the workplace is important. Second, it requires realistic verification of the expected performance of the learning model. To be considered part of the future are as follows: First, the value and effectiveness of the new e-learning type should be studied. Seconds, e-learning contents should be developed through adopting SAM or Agile methodology. Through this process, we would be able to enhance the quality in e-learning content.

블렌디드 이러닝(Blended e-learning)환경에서 간호대학생의 내재동기, 이러닝 학습전략이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Intrinsic Motivation, and e-Learning Strategies on Learning Satisfaction of Nursing Students in Blended e-Learning Environment)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of intrinsic motivation and e-learning strategies on nursing students' learning satisfaction in blended e-learning environment. Method: The survey was performed with 111 undergraduate nursing students who have taken community health nursing in 1 university. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed with the IBM SPSS statistics 20.0, using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: The mean score for intrinsic motivation was 3.25, for e-learning strategies, 3.56, and for learning satisfaction, 3.69. Significant positive correlation among intrinsic motivation, e-learning strategies, and learning satisfaction. The regression model explained 41.4% of learning satisfaction. Both intrinsic motivation and e-learning strategies were significant predictor of learning satisfaction. Conclusion: In order to improve the learners' learning achievement and learning satisfaction in blended e-learning environment, intrinsic motivation should be strengthen and e-learning strategies should be developed.

e-learning 컨텐츠 품질에 관한 연구 (A Study on e-Learning Contents Quality)

  • The remarkable growth of the Internet since mid-l990s has expanded the e-learning market and brought the transformation of educational environments and methodology. It can be said that the e-learning has changed the educational paradigm. Korean government is firmly determined to support the diffusion of e-learning because of the benefits of e-learning. People seem to accept the e-learning when its contents have high quality. A lot of research have been conducted on e-learning, however, it was mostly about user's usage intention, satisfaction and educational effect. It can't seem that sufficient research efforts have been put into figuring out the role of e-learning contents quality in the expansion of e-learning. In this paper, we present the empirical study on the influence of e-learning contents quality on user's satisfaction and educational effect. We conducted an questionnaire survey on college students to collect data and found that the quality of e-learning contents has significant influence on the users' satisfaction.

Relevance of E- Learning and Quality Development in Higher Education

  • This is an extended paper explaining the role of E-learning and quality development in the current situation. Amid Covid:19, E-Learning has achieved a new miles stone in imparting education and all levels of institutions have transformed their learning platform from face to face to virtual learning. In this scenario E-Learning is facing two major challenges, first to ensure the ability of computer systems or software to exchange and make use of information on virtual platform (interoperability) and secondly, developing quality learning through e-Learning. To impart learning and teaching (L&T) through E-learning, Middle East University (MEU) has adopted Learning Management Services (LMS) through Blackboard. The university has three types of L&T methods; full online, Blended and Supportive. This research studies the concept, scope and dimensions of interoperability (InT) of E-Learning in MEU then the connection and interdependence between with quality development. In this paper we have described the support and the importance of finest standards and specifications for the objectives of InT of E-Learning and quality development in MEU. The research is based principally on secondary data observed from MEU E-Learning deanship. Also sample of 20 E-Learning experts at MEU were given closed ended as well as semi closed questionnaires for evaluating the assurance of InT of E-Learning and quality development. These experts are mainly certified online facilitators and admin staff. Results provide the verification of application and presence of InT of E-Learning and assured the quality development process in MEU.

  • 최근 급격히 확산된 광역 인프라를 기반으로 탄생된 e-Learning 은 학교에서의 교육혁신 및 사회에서의 인적자원개발을 위한 새로운 수단으로 각광받고 있을 뿐만 아니라 디지털 콘텐츠 산업의 주요 핵심으로 등장하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 e-Learning 소프트웨어의 기반 기술의 특성을 분석하고 e-Learning 소프트웨어의 품질시험 및 평가를 위한 품질특성을 분석하여 e-Learning 소프트웨어 품질 평가모델을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 관련 국제 표준을 도입하여 e-Learning 소프트웨어에 대한 품질평가 체계를 확립하고 품질평가를 위한 평가모델을 개발하였다. 이를 통해, 품질평가를 효과적으로 수행하여 경쟁력 있는 e-Learning소프트웨어 제품의 개발을 촉진할 수 있을 것이라고 사료된다.
