A Study on the Adoption of Electronic Contract Service (전자계약서비스의 문제점과 해결방안)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the activation of e-contract service for one stop e-trade by analyzing the problems and its solutions in e-contract service at home and abroad. In order to achieve the purpose of this thesis, case studies are done on e-contract service providers such as CECTRUST service of NTT DATA in Japan and HanCM.com of Haansoft in Korea and user companies such as Taisei Corporation using CECTRUST service and Hyundai Card using HanCM.com. The problems in the e-contract service are the lack of e-contract service providers, rare publicity of e-contract service, limited use of e-contract service at only home, higher pricing for e-contract service, short time management of e-contract documents by service providers, no application of newly developed security technology to e-contract service, unsatisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party, absence of lower pricing e-contract service by service provider, authorizing key error in electronic signature under recognized authentication system in case of fail in renewal of digital certificate and reproduction of digital certificate. The solutions of these problems are the upbringing of e-contract service providers, broad publicity of e-contract service, development of e-contract service on a global basis, establishment of lower pricing for e-contract service, long time management of e-contract documents by service providers, application of newly developed security technology such as bio technology to e-contract service, satisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party by designation of recognized e-document repository, development of lower e-contract service by way of application service provider(ASP), introduction of time stamping of e-contract document and signature key value. The limitation of this thesis is that the problems and its solutions could not meet with the broad recognition as they are conferred by intuition because of few e-contract service provider.

A Study on the Effects of Chinese Live Commerce Service Quality Characteristics on Users' Continuous Use Intention (중국 라이브 커머스 서비스 품질 특성이 이용자의 지속이용의 도에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze users' continuous use intentions using the characteristics of live commerce in China. Design/methodology/approach - Social presence, influence of information source (Wang Hong), convenience, marketability, reliability, personal innovativeness, and social influence were selected as elements that affect the perceived value of users, and an assumption that perceived value would affect continuous use intention was set. 515 samples were obtained from Chinese consumers through a Chinese online questionaire survey. IBM SPSS 26 and AMOS was used for statistical testing. Findings - First, social presence, Wang Hong, convenience, marketability, and reliability, which are the quality characteristics of live commerce services, affect the perceived value of users and user's continuous use intention. Second, the perceived value of users plays a mediating role between the quality characteristics of live commerce service and the continuous use intention. Third, personal innovativeness plays a moderating role in the effect of live commerce service quality on the perceived value of e-commerce users. Fourth, among the relative effects of the service quality characteristic variables, the relative effect of reliability is the greatest followed by that of convenience, marketability, and Wang Hong, in order of precedence, and the effect of social presence is the smallest. Research implications or Originality - South Korean government's plan to support for advancing into live commerce in China were presented as strategic implications for exporting South Korean products to China through online services including live commerce.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to apply the purchase preference of a user in on-line shopping mall. To analyze the preference, we use topic preference vector. The topic is purchase count of products. In this structure, we construct the association the four factors; Purchase Hit meaning the purchase count of product, Count meaning the purchase count by other users in interesting product, Preference meaning product preference, and product meaning information of the product. By this structure and the method, we could show that proposed method displayed the product applying user preference, effectively.

  • This paper describes the biometrics system for user authentication in electronic commerce. At present, social demands are increasing for information security techniques against the information wiretapping in open communications network. For this, these techniques such as anti-virus, firewall, VPN, authentication, cryptography, public key based systems and security management systems have been developed. This Paper discusses the user authentication for the implementation of efficient electronic payment systems. In particular. user authentication system has keen developed using biometrics techniques and the effectiveness of this paper is demonstrated by several experiments.

Performance of Database Driven Network Applications from the User Perspective

  • An understanding of performance of database driven network applications is critical in combating slow performance of e-commerce web sites, besides efficient web page design, and high quality and well-maintained web server equipment. This paper describes a method of measuring performance from the user viewpoint, which can help enormously in making realistic assessment of true performance of database driven applications. The performance measurements were taken at user locations by using several specially designed JavaScript functions along with ASP scripts. A performance study is presented in this paper, comparing performance of data access using stored procedures with the traditional way of querying a database. It is generally believed that stored procedures have performance benefits as they are pre-compiled. However, our study shows that the data access approach using stored procedures provides significant benefits(by about 30%) over the traditional approach for querying a commercial MySQL database, only when retrieving a substantial amount of data(at least 10,000 rows of data).

  • Providing trading partners with personal information to establish an e-commerce financial transaction is inevitable. Most e-commerce companies keep personal information and transaction data for user's convenience and develop additional services as their applications. However, keeping personal information increases the likelihood of identity theft causing direct or indirect damage while it may simplify repetitive financial transactions. This study introduces risk management methods based on quantitative and qualitative analysis including demand-supply curve model and Gordon & Loeb model to analyze the risks for security management. The empirical analysis with survey results from KISA (Korea Information Security Agency) shows that the root cause of different statistics of personal information leakage incidents according to core business of internet companies is the difference in their Loss Expectancy caused by them. Also we suggest disciplinary compensation and higher standard for personal information protection as a solution to prevent the variation of investment on it between individual companies.

  • Objects such as products, product reviews, and user profiles are important in e-commerce domain. Vector is one of the most widely used object representation scheme. Information of e-commerce objects may be modeled by vectors in which the featured values are assigned to various dimensions. E-commerce objects are in general quantitatively large while some are similar or even same in reality. It Plays, therefore, an important role to measure the similarity between objects. In this paper, we survey the state-of-the -art vector similarity measures. Similarity measures are analyzed to feature the algebraic characteristics and relationship of those, and upon which we classify the related measures accordingly. We then present such features that standard vector similarity measures should convey.

  • As developed wireless internet and performance of wireless terminal, E-commerce of wire internet move to wireless internet. This I-commerce in wireless internet environment called M-Commerce, recognized user authentication and data security as very important technology such as E-commerce in environment of wire internet. So authentication technology such as WPKI and Hermes system and XML digital signature was studied. But WPKI is difficulty to implement system, if authentication system that consisted in WPKI environment was heterogeneous. And Hermes system is not interoperate to XML digital signature system. So, our paper suggested XML digital signature system based java card to interoperate among the digital signature system, to apply XML digital signature used in wire internet. Our system offer XML digital signature in wireless internet, can interoperate among the XML digital signature systems.

Effect of E-Service Quality of Fashion Mobile Applications on Flow, User Satisfaction, and Service Loyalty (패션 모바일 애플리케이션의 e-서비스 품질이 몰입 및 사용자 만족과 서비스 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • Due to restrictions on offline activities caused by COVID-19, the use of mobile applications is increasing along with interest in online shopping, which are non-face-to-face commerce. Accordingly, mobile applications and various industries are combined, and the number of cases of using mobile applications in the fashion industry is increasing. In this study, the effect of e-service quality of fashion mobile applications on user's flow, user satisfaction, and service loyalty was examined. To conduct this study, a survey of 274 people who experienced the 'ABLY' fashion mobile application was used for analysis to verify the hypothesis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that informativity and responsiveness among the e-service quality of fashion mobile applications had a positive (+) effect on flow. And it has been confirmed that informativity, reliability, and responsiveness affect user satisfaction. In addition, flow has a positive (+) (+) effect on user satisfaction, and user satisfaction has a positive (+) effect on service loyalty. However, among the e-service quality of fashion mobile applications, reliability did not have a positive (+) effect on flow. And ease of use did not have a positive (+) effect on both flow and user satisfaction. Finally, it was confirmed that flow did not directly affect service loyalty. Through this study, we intend to contribute to the establishment of marketing strategies for fashion mobile application users, who are increasing with the development of mobile technology, and provide practical implications for the post-COVID-19 era.

Development of Human Sensibility Based Web Agent for On-line Recommendation Service (온라인 추천 서비스를 위한 감성 기반 웹 에이전트 개발)

  • In recent years, with the advent of e-Commerce the need for personalized services and one-to-one marketing has been emphasized. To be successful in increasingly competitive Internet marketplace, it is essential to capture customer loyalty. In this paper, we provide an intelligent agent approach to incorporate human sensibility into an one-to-one recommendation service in cyber shopping mall. Our system exploits human sensibility ergonomics and on-line preference matching technologies to tailor to the customer the suggestion of goods and the description of store catalog. Customizing the system`s behavior requires the parallel execution of several tasks during the interaction (e. g., identifying the customer`s emotional preference and dynamically generating the pages of the store catalog). The recommendation agent system composed of five modules including specialized agents carries on these tasks. By presenting goods that are consistent with user interests as well as user sensibility, the accuracy and satisfaction of the recommendation service may be improved.
