In order to succeed in e-Trade Project in Korea, the related parties endeavor to introduce the e-title registry model such as Bolero model(Title Registry Model) and TEDI model (Repository Service Provider Model). Prior to mentioning the Model of e-Title Registry, desirable Global e-Trade Platform is the platform connecting Global e-Trade Platforms in each country and Bolero's Core Messaging Platform and e-Title Registry must be established in each country. Each e-Title Registry must be connected with another registry. Like Korea, Recognized Electronic Document Repository must be established as proxy for preserving, attesting, carrying out sending and receiving electronic document to prevent from disputes between parties and to carry out notarizing electronic documents and related transaction. The purpose of this paper is to promote the introduction of e-Title Registry in the e-Trade and to streamline the procedures of the electronic bill of lading.

This paper discussed which of the three basic entries of serials that changed their titles-earliest, latest, or successive entry cataloging-is the most efficient, informative, and economical in a manual and an online environment. The results of the study are as follow: 1. Earliest entry cataloging or as an alternative, successive entry cataloging advocated by Cutter in 1976 was replaced in ALA Cataloging Rules by latest entry cataloging and with AACR1 and AACR2, latest entry cataloging was replaced by successive entry cataloging again. 2. Entry method of serial cataloging should be determined in consideration of goals of catalog, efficiency of catalog retrieval, theoretical and practical standpoint of entry methods, average cataloging time and cost, the state of adaption. 3. In a card catalog environment, if the numbering and class number of the serial that title proper changed into initials itself continue and the title history must not be too complicated, the serial is desirable to entry under the latest title. Except for above case, successive entry cataloging enables serials to be more quickly and economically made available to users than with either earliest or latest entry cataloging. 4. In an automated catalog environment, successive entry cataloging has more potential of satisfying and impairs the efficiency of both accessing and processing a library's serials collection. However, when initial cataloging by MARC format is done, careful screen design and complex programming will be needed. And subfield containing the local record number should be added to the programming means to link the various records together, i.e., 780 (preceding title) and 785 (succeeding title) fields for all related titles.

This study aims to propose guideline for uniform title of legal works. To achieve this objective, this study (1) reviewed the uniform title and authority access points of legal works targeting RDA, NCR, KCR2 and KCR5, (2) analyzed the actual application methods by investigating the guideline and bibliographic data for uniform title for legal works targeting LC, DNB, and university libraries, (3) examined the scope of application of uniform title in the bibliographic data of the National Library of Korea and suggested points to consider when developing guidelines for uniform title. Based on this, (4) a draft guideline for creating uniform title for legal works was formulated. The draft was revised after review by a librarian and consultation with experts, and then the final draft was proposed. The data were obtained through literature reviews and case studies, and additional data were obtained through e-mail interviews and expert advice.

This paper is an attempt to design and implement a multimedia title for the lesson of' Creatu Environment' which appears in the textbook of the second semester for the fourth graders. The title make the most use do multimedia features so that students my be able to reach the best result of activities. The title adopts the Cocktail program developed by Hite-Media Co. It is designed to resolve that are associated with sequential and letter-centered simplicity. As a result, students can interact on the other and the amount of their lessons. The title can effectively combines visual and aural (i. e. information to bring in motivations and participations in learning activities. This title is believed to help students to solve many classroom questions and to try individual learning. Finally, it is hoped that the title helps students to understand the ultimate go subject. 'Environment does affect the life of plants'.

Bolero Project initially had the support of TEDIS, and now is a joint-venture between SWIFT and IT Club. After the successful testing of an original pilot project, The Bolero Association was formed in 1995 by a group of interested cross industry companies. A Bolero Bill of Lading replicates the basic functions of a paper-based bill of lading via title registry service and core messaging platform. A Bolero Bill of Lading consists of BBL Text and Title Registry Record. A Tittle Registry Record carries out the function of a document of title and a BBL may be transferred by changing the roles of users in this Title Registry Record. TEDI Project had been conducted from the April 1999 to the September 2000 on the basis of the EDEN Project(Dec.97- Mar. 1999) and International Trade Guidances Project (Nov. 1998-Mar. 1999). Through TEDI Project, the RSP Model was introduced as e-trade solution like Bolero's Solution. The RSP Model Solution will be furnished through TC (Trade Chain) Server and RSP(Repository Service Provider) Server. The purpose of this paper is to study the problems and solutions in the pilot test of electronic Bill of Lading using TEDI's RSP and to promote the introduction of electronic Bill of Lading.

This empirical study investigated the effect of choice of record field(s) upon which to search on retrieval performance for a large operational bibliographic database. The query terms used in the study were identified algorithmically from each target set in four different ways: (1) controlled terms derived from index term frequency weights, (2) uncontrolled terms derived from index term frequency weights. (3) controlled terms derived from inverse document frequency weights, and (4) uncontrolled terms based on universe document frequency weights. Su potable choices of record field were recognised. Using INSPEC terminology, these were the fields: (1) Abstract. (2) 'Anywhere'(i.e., ail fields). (3) Descriptors. (4) Identifiers, (5) 'Subject'(i.e., 'Descriptors' plus Identifiers'). and (6) Title. The study was undertaken in an operational web-based IR environment using the INSPEC bibliographic database. The retrieval performances were evaluated using D measure (bivariate in Recall and Precision). The main findings were that: (1) there exist significant differences in search performance arising from choice of field, using 'mean performance measure' as the criterion statistic; (2) the rankings of field-choices for each of these performance measures is sensitive to the choice of query : and (3) the optimal choice of field for the D-measure is Title.

Twenty novel tetramic acid derivatives (E)-3-(1-(alkyloxyamino)ethylidene)-1-alkylpyrrolidine-2,4-diones were synthesized by the reaction of 3-(1-hydroxyethylidene)pyrrolidine-2,4-diones with O-alkyl hydroxylamines. The title compounds were confirmed by IR, $^1H$ NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The structure of compound 6r was further verified by X-ray diffraction crystallography. The bioassays showed that most of the title compounds exhibited noticeable herbicidal and fungicidal activities.

Many have been concerned with the entry of serials in cataloging. Thouzh they believc the form of AACR 6 should be revised, the agreement was not yet reached among them. Whercas some librarians advocate no different entry in cataioging between monographs and serials, some agree that all serials are to be entered under its title. Main arguments are on the concepts of "corporate authorship" and "generic titlc". On account of disagreemefit on these concepts, there appear different ways 9T serials entry in various catalogs or bibliogaphies. Being not clearly defined the concept of "corporate authorship" in Korcan Cltaloging Rules, main cntry of a scrial was quite different either in a few national bibliographies or some universities' catalogs in T a e g ~C ity. In consideration 01 the incompleteness and changing authorship or diffused riuthorship of serials, it is desirable to revise and simplif1, - our czttaloging rules as to all the serials are to be entered under its titlc. When a generic term is included in a title, it will not be sn important groblcm as the title mould be usi~ally made up in the form of "corporate name+gcncric term". The concept of effective control is a crucial element for the acquisition as well as maintenance of territorial title. The general meaning of the concept has been described as 'an intentional display of power and authority over the territory, by the exercise of jurisdiction and State functions, on a continuous and peaceful basis'. The concept has been developed through some significant international cases such as the Island of Palmas case (1928), Legal Status of Eastern Greenland (1933), Minquiers and Ecrehos case (1953), Burkina Faso/Mali case (1986) and Nicaragua/Colombia case (2012). In relation to Dokdo, the concept has an important bearing in regard to Korea's claims of territorial sovereignty over the island. This paper reviews the definition, components and ramifications of the effective control with regard to the acquisition and maintenance of territorial title through analyzing the relevant judgements of international courts and tribunals. Furthermore, it exams the legal ramifications of the current effective control on Dokdo and makes some suggestions for the strengthening of Korea's position on the island.
