33-모드 링은 31-모드 링에 비하여 결합상수와 압전상수 d가 높기 때문에 광대역 수중 음향 트랜스듀서로 활용성이 높다. 반면 31-모드 링은 축대칭 구조이므로 수치해석 수행시 2차원 축대칭 모델로 간략히 해석이 가능하지만, 33-모드 링은 3차원 수치해석을 수행해야 한다. 즉, 특성 예측을 위해 많은 전산자원과 계산시간이 소요된다. 따라서 33-모드 링의 전기-기계-음향 응답을 모사할 수 있는 등가의 31-모드 링의 유효 물성을 도출할 수 있다면 소나 트랜스듀서 설계 등에 실용적일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 응답 특성을 모사하기 위해 각 링의 전기, 기계 임피던스 및 변환계수(${\phi}$)가 동일하다고 가정하여 등가 31-모드 링의 유효 밀도(${\rho}_{31_{-}eff}$), 컴플라이언스($s^E_{11_{-}eff}$), 압전 상수($d_{31_{-}eff}$), 유전 상수(${\varepsilon}^T_{33_{-}eff}$)를 유도했다. 도출한 유효 물성을 이용하여 진공상태의 링, 수중에서 공기 배킹의 링, 그리고 수중에서 링 내부에 자유롭게 유체가 드나드는 링에 대하여 수치해석을 하였고 이를 33-모드 링의 응답특성과 비교하였다.

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. Let R be an integral domain and M a torsion-free R-module. We investigate the relation between the notion of e-exactness, recently introduced by Akray and Zebari [1], and generalized the concept of homology, and establish a relation between e-exact sequences and homology of modules. We modify some applications of e-exact sequences in homology and reprove some results of homology with e-exact sequences such as horseshoe lemma, long exact sequences, connecting homomorphisms and etc. Next, we generalize two special drived functor T or and Ext, and study some properties of them.

There is a standard construction of lifting cyclic codes over the prime finite field ${\mathbb{Z}}_p$ to the rings ${\mathbb{Z}}_{p^e}$ and to the ring of p-adic integers. We generalize this construction for arbitrary finite fields. This will naturally enable us to lift codes over finite fields ${\mathbb{F}}_{p^r}$ to codes over Galois rings GR($p^e$, r). We give concrete examples with all of the lifts.

The existence in nature of two isomers of 28-nortriterpenes is known. One is normal D/E cis form and the other is $17\alpha$-hydrogen D/E trans form. Since the latter cannot exist with ring D in the chair conformation, the chiroptical method is not applicable to determination of the absolute configuration. The stereochemical assignment would now be made by NMR data. Confirmation of this view could be provided by the synthesis of $3\beta, 21\beta-{dihydroxy-16-keto-28-nor-17}\alpha, \;18\beta-{olean-12-ene}$ as a model compound.

We study the extended quadratic residue code of length 24 over $\mathbb{Z}_3$ and its lifts to rings $\mathbb{Z}_{3^e}$ for all e including 3-adic integers ring. We completely determine the weight enumerators of all these lifts.

In this paper, we analyze the security of the KMOV public key cryptosystem. KMOV is based on elliptic curves over the ring $\mathbb{Z}_n$ where n = pq is the product of two large unknown primes of equal bit-size. We consider KMOV with a public key (n, e) where the exponent e satisfies an equation ex-(p+1)(q+1)y = z, with unknown parameters x, y, z. Using Diophantine approximations and lattice reduction techniques, we show that KMOV is insecure when x, y, z are suitably small.

Let (R, m) be a Noetherian local ring with maximal ideal m, E := $E_R$(R/m) and let I be an ideal of R. Let M and N be finitely generated R-modules. It is shown that $H^n_I(M,(H^n_I(N)^{\vee})){\cong}(M{\otimes}_RN)^{\vee}$ where grade(I, N) = n = $cd_i$(I, N). We also show that for n = grade(I, R), one has $End_R(H^n_I(P,R)^{\vee}){\cong}Ext^n_R(H^n_I(P,R),P^*)^{\vee}$.

본 논문에서는 표면 마이크로 머시닝 기법으로 구현된 DAML (Dielectric-supported Airbridge Microstrip Line) 형태의 새로운 구조를 이용하여 $180^{\circ}$ 링 하이브리드 결합기를 설계 및 제작 하였다. DAML 구조로 이용하여 제작된 결합기는 60 GHz 중심 주파수에서 3.58 dB의 S31과 3.31 dB의 S21과 61 GHz에서 16.17 dB 이상의 S11과 55 dB 이상의 S41를 얻을 수 있다. 결합기의 크기를 줄이기 위하여 slow wave 구조가 삽입된 결합기를 설계 제작하였으며 크기를 $33\%$ 정도 줄일 수 있는 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.

A new series of 3-alkylthio-6-allylthio-4(or 5)-methylpyridazines (6a-e)-(7a-e) was synthesized from citraconic anhydride (1) for development of candidates possessing anticancer activity. The process involves the formation of pyridazine ring, dichlorination, monoallythiolation, and further another alkylthiolation. Compounds 6a-e, and 7a-e were prepared from 6-allylthio-3-chloro-4-methylpyridazine (4) or 6-allylthio-3-chloro-5-methylpyridazine (5) via nucleophilic substitution reaction with alkylthiol anion as nucleophile. Intermediates 4, and 5 could be converted to target pyridazines 6a-e, and 7a-e using 1~1.5 equivalent of alkylthiol at reflux temperature in methanol in the presence of sodium hydroxide. The structures of the synthetic compounds were characterized using NMR, IR, and GC-MS analyses.

Let A be a polynomial ring over a field and M a simple A-module. We generalize one result of Song about the description of the injective envelope $E_A$ (M) in terms of modules of generalized fractions.
