The aim of this study was to examine the trends (e.g., the distribution of the studies by year, country, research methods, and participants' education level) and fundamental findings [e.g., interaction in Virtual Reality (VR) environments, educational content through VR and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, learning environment in AR, etc.] regarding immersive learning technologies such as VR and AR in English Language Teaching (ELT) between 2010 and 2019. Employing a systematic review research methodology, data was gathered from 59 academic articles published in the following databases: EBSCOhost, ERIC, Web of Science, and Taylor & Francis. The studies were analyzed using a content analysis approach, and findings demonstrated that immersive learning technologies in ELT came to prominence in 2017. Mixed methods research was the most widely employed research method. The most studied language skill was vocabulary for AR and speaking for VR. The results also revealed advantages and challenges with regards to the use of immersive learning technologies in ELT. Further analysis illustrated the findings related to characteristics of immersive learning technologies in ELT. Based on this review, research and design implications for researchers and practitioners are presented.

The study aimed to identify the impact of the application of technical equipment for infrastructure to achieve the quality of e-learning for students in the faculties at Northern Border University, in Arar city. The study applied the analytical survey study method. To achieve the study purpose, the researcher prepared a study tool which is a questionnaire to measure the impact o of applying technical instrument for the infrastructure to achieve the quality of e-learning for students. The study sample size reached (218) students from both groups from the university faculties in Arar city. The results of the study revealed a tendency in the study sample's responses to the availability of the majority of the questionnaire criteria significantly. This indicates the positive impact of the application of technical equipment on the infrastructure to achieve the application quality of e-learning at Northern Border University, the study recommended the following: The need to pay attention to measuring the quality of electronic courses every two years in addition to the need to adjust the quality standards of e-content provided through e-learning platforms. Also, there is the gradual application of e-learning at the university in addition to spreading the culture of e-learning quality among all groups of the university community. Also, it is necessary to direct them towards benefiting from the advantages of e-learning that observes quality standards.

This paper represent a method of U-Learning based on advanced e-Learning. Ubiquitous computing configuration and advanced Information technology. As we know well, the 21th century is called knowledge based informational society. Many scholar stress that the improved 21th century's educational paradigm be able to success based on advanced educational paradigm. Therefore, we discuss the material for e-Learning fields including with necessity, vision, law, quality authorization etc. Also, we discuss the relational technologies including with meta data, standardization, identification etc. Finally, we propose a method for constructing the U-Learning based on advanced e-Learning and Ubiquitous computing configuration.

Today, universities in Korea give a great effort to complement basic college scholastic ability of freshman. Maybe it could be unnecessary effort from university. However, we cannot just leave students who have poor academic performance about 10 to 30% in a university. Universities have to prepare to solve this problem. Thus government and universities investigate a lot of efforts but there is no guarantee. As a result, e-learning could be the best solution to complement poor academic performance of freshman and it also could be the best way to reduce financial burden of university. So, many universities introduce e-learning system and they also support professors to make e-learning content. We need to promote content usage and to improve overall operations. In this paper, we discuss poor academic performance problems under the current middle and high school education systems and review approaches to solve these problems. From this analysis, we propose the design of an effective e-learning system and a method of operation to complement students who achieve poor academic performance.

E-Learning is widely introduced with cyber universities in Korea from 2001 whencyber universities were first authorized by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development. E-learning amplified by cyber university gave a big impact in the campus based university which became the cause for the educational paradigm shift. The changes of status of cyber university shows important trend in college education which was analyzed by enrollment rate, types of cyber university, demography, and study areas. The enrollment rate of cyber universities is ever since 2001 and variety of study areas gives popularity to students. The demography of students is as expected older than traditional students. Female students at the cyber university outnumbered that at campus based university in Korea. For analyzing the trend of e-learning in Korea, there were studies twice in 2001 May-June from 213 faculty members and staff, 630 students and in 2004 May-June with 401 students. Most of e-learning students tent to spend less time yet, students feel more burden with e-learning. Professors tend to load more materials for the e-learning in 2001but in 2004 study, the difference no longer exists. Professors and students feel the academic achievement through e-learning is not as good as from the traditional classes. Difficulties for e-learning in 2001 were the lack of administrative information but in 2004, boring contents and lack of instructional strategies for e-learning. Technical problems still do exist but less serious. Suggestions for e-learning are blended learning, online students prefer video streaming with their own lecturer, new definition of instructor is needed, professional development for content development and online instruction is needed, success story of online learning should be encouraged, guidance for online students needed. The cyber university experiencegave a positive impact on the traditional universities such as rethinking the roles of universities, the quality control of classes, professional development, student oriented educational service of e-learning pedagogy.

E-Learning, a technology-based learning process is the obtaining of knowledge from the basis of IT technology. The development of e-Learning requires corporate educational staff as well as HR staff, who manage e-learning, to drastically change their roles. The main reason for this is that the properly adapted and highly experienced education and training abilities of HR staff could accelerate the adoption and usage of e-Learning but they need to clearly select and define an appropriate curriculum from among the extensive mass-customized content with an e-learning basis. Here the research has analyzed the influence of the introduction and usage of e-Learning in hotels on HR staff and their roles from the viewpoint of hermeneutic phenomenology.

Recently, the social commerce on Facebook.com and Twitter.com, which is represented by SNS (Social Network Service), has been expanding in the form of a combination of SNS market. This study attempted to examine the cost-effect analysis between portal-based advertisement and SNS-based advertisement in order to establish an effective advertising strategy for e-learning content providers. The results showed that portal-based advertisement is more effective than SNS-based advertisement in terms of advertising effectiveness against cost. According to these empirical research results, this article discusses the practical implications for e-learning content providers in an attempt to enable them to take competitive advantage.

Instructor willingness to accept and literacy is an e-leaning important variable to expect a positive effect of the introduction of e-learning from the perspective of university. The role of faculty is not only instructor but also content experts, curriculum designers, graphics professionals, media director or programmer. This study suggest as the role of instructor as pedagogical, managerial, social and technical aspect for effective learning outcomes.

Many aspects of e-러닝 and m-러닝 have been conducted in language learning settings while few studies have examined learners'psychological attitudes in both Internet-based languages learning environment. Althoughe-Learning and m-Learningin the content of language learningshares many common aspects, the study that particularly examinesEnglish learners' psychological attitudes from both learning environments has not been conducted. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate group difference between e-러닝 and m-러닝 in terms of characteristics of both learning environments, including Contextual Offer, Interactivity, Enjoyment, Usefulness, Easiness, Variety, Connectivity, Satisfaction, and Learning Performance. Results showed that even if there was little difference within and among groups in English learners' feelings, learners have different attitude on Enjoyment, Easiness, and Connectivity.

RThe main object of this study is to stipulate the relation between e-learning characteristics and e-learner's scholastic performance through the integrated study model of perspective of educational technology and information technology. Using e-learning system quality, e-learning contents characteristics and interaction as independent variable, e-learner's scholastic performance as dependent variable and learning motivation as mediator, this study has examined the relationship among these variables. Two hundreds and twelve undergraduates in cyber university participated in the survey and filled out questionnaires related to this study. The main results are as followed. First, content's quality, technical quality and the support of school affairs have a significant effect on the e-learner's scholastic performance. Second, Learning motivation plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between e-learning characteristics and e-learner's scholastic performance. The meaningful implication of this study is that to improve e-learner's scholastic performance, we have to offer e-learners more customized various learning plans, learning contents and interaction between e-learners and e-learning systems.
