Dunn investigated algebras and semantics for negations in non-classical logics. This paper extends his investigation to dual negations, more exactly to duals to the negations in Dunn [3, 5]. I first survey and systematize the algebras of dual negations, i.e., (self-dual) subminimal negation, dual Galois negations, dual minimal negation, wB (or dual intuitionistic) negation, (self-dual) De Morgan negation, and (self-dual) ortho negation, based on partially ordered sets. I next provide dual-perp semantics for these (dual) negations. I finally give representations for them by using dual-perp semantics.

This paper gives the expression of dual quaternions and provides differential operators in dual quaternions. The paper also represents the derivative of dual quaternion-valued functions by using a corresponding Cauchy-Riemann system in dual quaternions.

본 논문에서는 dual-rail data encoding방식을 적용하여 비동기식시스템을 설계할 때, 신호천이를 줄이고 소비전력을 줄이기 위하여 4-phase handshaking 프로토콜과 2-phase handshaking 프로토콜을 혼합한 dual-rail data encoding방식을 제안한다. 기존의 dual-rail data encoding 4-phase handshaking 프로토콜은 space state가 존재함으로 말미암아 신호 천이가 많이 발생하게 되고 많은 전력소비를 발생한다. 이론적으로 dual-rail data encoding 2-phase handshaking 프로토콜은 dual-rail data encoding 4-phase handshaking 프로토콜보다 빠르고 신호천이도 적지만 표준 라이브러리를 사용하여 설계할 수 없다. 제안하는 혼합형 dual-rail data encoding 방식의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 Adder블록, Multiplier블록, Latch를 포함한 benchmark회로를 설계를 설계하였다. Benchmark회로를 이용하여 시뮬레이션해본 결과, 제안하는 혼합형 dual-rail data encoding방식은 기존의 dual-rail data encoding 4-phase handshaking 프로토콜에 비해 35%이상 전력소비가 감소되는 결과를 얻었다.

Many geotechnical analyses require the investigation of water flow within partially saturated soil zone to incorporate the effect of climatic conditions. It is widely understood that the hydraulic properties of the partially saturated soil should be included in the transient seepage analyses. However, the characteristics of dual porosity soils with dual-mode water retention curve are normally modelled using single-mode mathematical equation for simplification of the analysis. In reality, the rainwater flow can be affected significantly by the dual-mode hydraulic properties of the soil. This paper presents the variations of safety factor for dual porosity soil slope with dual-mode water retention curve and dual-mode unsaturated permeability. This paper includes the development of the new dual-mode unsaturated permeability to represent the characteristics of soil with the dual-mode water retention curve. The finite element analyses were conducted to examine the role of dual-mode water retention curve and dual-mode unsaturated permeability on the variations of safety factor under rainfall loading. The results indicate that the safety factor variations of dual porosity soil slope modelled using the dual-mode water retention curve and the unsaturated permeability equation are lower than those of dual porosity slope modelled using single-mode water retention curve and unsaturated permeability equations.

인가된 사용자가 패스워드를 입력하는 과정이 타인에게 관찰되어도 패스워드가 노출되지 않는 세계 최초의 패스워드 시스템인 듀얼 패스워드 시스템을 제안하고, 듀얼 패스워드 시스템이 사용자를 인증하는 과정을 제시한다. 듀얼 패스워드 시스템의 패스워드 입력은 first password와 second password의 동일한 위치에 있는 두 기호를 매칭하는 과정을 반복하여 이루어진다. 따라서, 패스워드로부터 first password와 second password를 유도하는 방법은 듀얼 패스워드 시스템에서 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 패스워드로부터 first password와 second password를 유도하는 방법과 관련하여 dual password derivation 문제를 정의하며, dual password derivation 문제의 해에 대한 평가 척도들을 제시한다.

Purpose: Walking in the dual-task condition is a critical skill for hemiplegic patients to live in real-life situations. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of dual-task gait training and general gait training on gait parameters and cognitive function in patients with chronic stroke during dual-task walking. Methods: The study included 23 patients with chronic hemiparetic stroke who were randomly divided into experimental (dual-task gait training) and control (general walking training) groups. The 11 subjects in the experimental group and nine subjects in the control group received dual-task gait training (walking while handling a ball, crossing obstacles, picking up various objects, and problem solving simple cognitive tasks and general over-ground gait training, respectively, for 30 minutes per day 5 days per week for 4 weeks. Spatiotemporal parameters and cognitive tasks in the dual-task gait condition were measured. Statistical analysis of the changes between the pre- and post-intervention measurement variables was performed using ANCOVA. Results: In the gait condition under cognitive tasks, the changes pre- and post-intervention in gait velocity, stride length, double support limb, and step symmetry were significantly greater in the dual-task gait training group; however, the dual-task gait training group showed no significant improvement compared to the general gait training group in terms of the assessment of cognitive tasks. Conclusion: The findings suggest that dual-task gait training may be beneficial for walking ability in dual-task walking condition.

In this paper, we obtain some geometric inequalities for mixed volumes of a convex body and its polar dual. We also develop a lower bound of the product of quermassintegral of a convex body and its polar dual and give a lower bound for the product of the dual quermassintegral of any index of centrally symmetric convex body and that of its polar dual.

In this work, we give some characterizations of rectifying curves in dual Lorentzian space. Also, we show that rectifying dual Lorentzian curves can be stated by the aid of dual unit spherical curves.

In this paper, we investigate the vectorial moments of Bäcklund transformations of a space curve in 𝔼³. Firstly, it is obtained the vectorial moments which named α𝓖 dual curve, β𝓖 dual curve, and γ𝓖 dual curve of Bäcklund transformations. Then we give the Euler elastic bending energies of these curves. Finally, we provide some examples of α𝓖 dual, β𝓖 dual, and γ𝓖 dual, and their Euler elastic bending energies.

본 연구에서는 G/R 비의 실시간 결정을 목적으로 Dual Kalman Filter를 이용하였다. Dual Kalman Filter 는 이중추정(dual estimation)을 기반으로 하는 자료동화기법으로 기존 Kalman Filter와 상이한 상태-공간 모형으로 구성된다. 이에 Dual Kalman Filter와 기존 Kalman Filter의 적용성능을 비교 검토하였으며, 다양한 비교를 위하여 강우의 임계치와 누적시간의 고려여부에 따른 결과를 추가적으로 검토하였다. 두 기법의 적용성능 비교결과 Dual Kalman Filter가 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 Dual Kalman Filter 기법이 G/R 비의 큰 변동성과 이상치를 효과적으로 필터링하고, 시계열 모형의 매개변수를 실시간으로 갱신하여 정확한 예측치를 추정하였기 때문인 것으로 판단된다.
