자동차 도장 건조 공정의 건조 성능 향상을 위한 수치해석 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Improvement of the Performance of a Vehicle Paint Drying Process)

  • In the present study, three-dimensional transient numerical simulations were carried out to improve the performance of a vehicle paint drying process. In order to describe the movement of a vehicle, the techniques of moving boundary condition and multiple reference flames (MRF) were used. For the validation of the numerical analysis, the predicted temperature on the surface of a vehicle was compared to the experimental data, and a good agreement was achieved. With validated numerical procedure, various operating conditions of the temperature and the flow rate of the supply air were investigated to improve the drying performance of the facility. It is shown that the optimization of the operating condition can lead to energy savings and faster line speed of the production.

버어리종 잎담배 건조 환경 개선을 위한 건조실 개발 (I. 건조기간중의 미기상 변화) (Development of curing facility to improve environment for burley curing (I. Changes in microclimate during air-curing))

  • This study was carried out to investigate the changes of curing condition on microclimate of temperature, relative humidity during curing process of burley tobacco leaves. The developed facility, ridge opening type was designed to open the central top roof. The air-cured variety, (N. tabacum cv KB111) was normally grown at the Eumseong tobacco experimental station in 2007. Mean daily temperature of $3^{\circ}C$ in ridge opening type curing facility was lower than that of conventional, whereas mean daily relative humidity of 12.6 % RH was lower in conventional curing facility for the entire stage of curing. The frequency distribution of optimal air temperature at daytime was higher 37.5 % in ridge opening type curing facility than that of conventional, while that of optimal relative humidity was lower 8.2 %. In the ridge opening type curing facility, the excessive drying leaves were low, however the price per kilogram was high. These results suggest that the new developed curing facility may be applied to improved microclimate inside the curing facility for curing burley.

  • 정부는 최근 2050년까지 국가 온실가스 순배출량은 "0"으로 하는 2050 탄소중립 정책을 추진하고 있다. 이에, 축산업 부문 2050 탄소중립을 위한 핵심적인 수단으로 가축분뇨 에너지화에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 가축분뇨 고체연료화 기술은 가축분뇨를 건조 또는 탄화시켜 고체연료로 제조하는 기술로서 가축분뇨 고체연료 제조시설 및 발전시설의 경제성 문제로 인하여 보급 확산이 미미한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 가축분뇨 고체연료 제조 및 이용 촉진을 위하여 가축분뇨 고체연료의 잠재적인 수요처인 가축분뇨 고체연료 발전시설의 경제성을 평가하고자 하였다. 가축분뇨 고체연료 제조원가는 200톤/일 규모의 발효건조 과정에서 97.4 천원/톤으로 가장 낮은 제조원가를 보였다. 가축분뇨 고체연료 발전시설은 신재생에너지공급인증서(REC) 가중치 1.5에서 경제성을 나타냈다. 가축분뇨 고체연료화는 온실가스 저감, 수계 비점오염원 저감 등 다양한 환경적 편익을 지니고 있다. 따라서 가축분뇨 고체연료 생산시설을 확산 보급을 위해서는 다양한 환경 편익을 포함한 경제성 검토가 요구된다.

제2인산(第2燐酸)암모늄 처리합판(處理合板)의 약제흡수(藥劑吸收) 및 열판건조(熱板乾燥)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Studies on the Press Drying and the Chemical Absorption of the Plywood Treated with Diammonium Phosphate)

  • The plywoods commonly used as decorative interior materials for the construction are inflammable and so it is a causative factor for making fire accidents, resulting in the destruction of human life and personal properties. Indeed, it is, therefore, required to produce fire-retardant plywoods. In this study, a special grade of defect-free, Kapur plywood was used. Specimens were cut into 3- by 20cm dimensions from 120- by 240- by 0.33-cm panels(thin panel) or 120- by 240- by 0.5-cm panels(thick panel). Some specimens were treated with diammonium phosphate(DAP), but some were not treated with diammonium phosphate to use as control panels. Chemical absorption, drying curves, drying rates and dynamic Young's modulus were investigated. The results were summaries as follows; 1. The specimens were soaked into 19% diammonium phosphate solution by a full cell pressure process and the diammonium phosphate retained in the thin and thick plywoods was 1.409kg/$(30cm)^3$, 1.487kg/$(30cm)^3$, respectively. 2. Diammonium phosphate-treated plywoods were redried with press-drying process at one of either condition dried on the platen($115^{\circ}C$) for a period of time or dried on the platen($50^{\circ}C$) for 3 hrs plus in a dry-oven($30^{\circ}C$) for 24 hrs. or dried on the platen($60^{\circ}C$) for 2 hrs plus in a dry-oven($30^{\circ}C$) for 24 hrs. The drying rate of treated thin specimens dried at $60^{\circ}C$ plus $30^{\circ}C$ and $115^{\circ}C$ only was found to be 0.04 %/min. and 8.53 %/min. Similarly, the drying rate of treated thick specimens were 0.03 %/min. and 6.77 %/min. respectively. 3. It was evident that highly-significantly different drying rate of treated plywoods was observed between plywood thicknesses and platen temperatures and the rate was increased by elevating the platen temperature up to $115^{\circ}C$. Based on the two-way variance analysis, highly significant drying rate was observed from the interaction between plywood thicknesses and platen temperatures. 4. After redrying, the specimens were weighed and reconditioned to a constant weight in a facility maintained temperature ($20^{\circ}C$) and relative humidity(65%) prior to test dynamic Young's modulus. The test revealed that the thin specimens dried at the platen temperature of $50^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$, $115^{\circ}C$ and untreated specimens showed 1.070E+09 dyne/$cm^2$, 1.156E+09 dyne/$cm^2$, 1.243E+09 dyne/$cm^2$, and 1.052E+09 dyne/$cm^2$, respectively. Likewise, the thick specimens revealed 5.647E+09 dyne/$cm^2$ 5.670E+09 dyne/$cm^2$, 6.395E+09 dyne/$cm^2$ and 5.415E+09 dyne/$cm^2$, respectively. 5. It was evident that significantly different dynamic Young's modulus was observed between the plywood thickness and the platen temperature, but not in the two-way interaction between the plywood thickness${\times}$the platen temperature.

The effect of temperature and storage time on DNA integrity after freeze-drying sperm from individuals with normozoospermia

  • Objective: This study evaluated the effects of temperature and storage time on the quality and DNA integrity of freeze-dried sperm from individuals with normozoospermia. Methods: Normal sperm samples from 15 men aged 24 to 40 years were studied. Each sample was divided into six groups: fresh, freezing (frozen in liquid nitrogen), freeze-dried then preserved at room temperature for 1 month (FD-1m-RT), freeze-dried then preserved at room temperature for 2 months (FD-2m-RT), freeze-dried then preserved at 4 ℃ for 1 month (FD-1m-4 ℃), and freeze-dried then preserved at 4 ℃ for 2 months (FD-2m-4 ℃). The morphology, progressive motility, vitality, and DNA integrity of the sperm were evaluated in all groups. Results: In all freeze-dried groups, sperm cells were immotile after rehydration. The freeze-dried groups also showed significantly less sperm vitality than the fresh and frozen groups. Significantly more morphological sperm abnormalities were found in the freeze-dried groups, but freeze-drying did not lead to a significantly higher DNA fragmentation index (DFI). The DFI was significantly higher in the FD-2m-RT group than in the other freeze-dried groups. Conclusion: The freeze-drying method preserved the integrity of sperm DNA. The temperature and duration of storage were also identified as factors that influenced the DFI. Accordingly, more research is needed on ways to improve sperm quality in the freeze-drying process.

방사성 폐액중의 붕소와 나트륨의 몰비 변화에 따른 농축폐액건조설비 운전 경험사례 (The Operation Experience of the Concentrated Waste Drying System with Variation in the Mole Ratio of Boron to Sodium)

  • 원자력발전소에서 발생하는 방사성 폐액은 일반적으로 액체폐기물처리계통 폐액증발기 및 농축 폐액건조설비에서 증발 및 건조 공정을 통해 수분을 함유하지 않은 분말형태로 변한다. 이 분말형태의 폐기물은, 취급 시와 처분 후 안전성을 확보할 수 있도록, 파라핀과 균일하게 혼합되어 고화된 후 철제드럼에 포장된다. 농축폐액건조설비를 이용하여 농축폐액을 건조시킨 후 분말 형태의 폐기물을 파라핀과 혼합하는 공정을 수행할 때, 방사성 폐액 중 붕소와 나트륨의 몰비가 0.2를 초과하는 경우, 분말형태의 폐기물이 파라핀과 균일하게 혼합되지 않고 층을 이루어 분리되어 드럼에 안정고화가 잘 안되는 경우가 발생하였고 또한 일부는 드럼화 전에 설비 내에 고착되는 현상이 발생하는 것을 경험하였다.

친수시설 홍수위험도 평가를 위한 Nays2D 모형의 현장 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Field Application of Nays2D Model for Evaluation of Riverfront Facility Flood Risk)

  • 최근 기후변화로 인해 강우강도와 홍수 발생빈도가 증가하고 있으며 여름철 태풍으로 인한 침수피해의 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 대하천 사업 이후 하천의 홍수터를 활용하여 생태공원이나 체육시설 등과 같은 다양한 친수시설들이 조성되었으나 태풍으로 인한 하천의 홍수위 상승은 이와 같은 친수시설들에 대한 직접적인 침수피해를 야기할 수 있다. 이러한 홍수터 친수시설에 대한 수리학적 영향 분석이나 안정성 평가를 위해서는 수치해석이 선행되어야 하며, 수위의 상승 및 하강에 의해 발생하는 마름/젖음 현상에 대한 처리가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 마름/젖음 해석이 가능한 Nays2D 모형을 이용하여 마름/젖음이 발생하는 단순 지형에 대한 적용성을 분석하고, 마름이 발생하는 자연하천에 적용하였다. 실제 태풍 사상에 대한 모형의 현장 적용결과를 수위관측소에서 실측된 실측수위와 비교했으며, 그 결과 $R^2$, AME, RMSE 값이 각각 0.988, 0.208, 0.239로 통계적으로 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 또한, 모형의 결과를 이용하여 홍수위험도 지수를 산정하였으며, 연구결과를 통해 홍수터 친수시설 홍수위험도 평가를 실시하였다.

A-산업단지 발생 슬러지의 에너지화를 위한 경제성 검토 (Investigation on Economical Feasibility for Energy Business of Waste Water Sludge Discharged in 'A' Industrial Complex)

  • 우리나라는 1960년대에 들어서 경제개발계획의 수립과 더불어 산업발전 정책이 강력히 추진되기 시작하며 많은 산업단지가 조성되어 있다. 현재는 지속적인 발전이 가능한 산업단지로 만들기 위하여 정부에서는 산업단지에서 발생되는 부산물과 폐기물을 다른 기업의 원료나 에너지로 재활용하는 생태산업단지 구축사업을 추진하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구에서는 연구대상지역인 A 산업단지에서 발생되는 슬러지의 물리화학적 특성을 분석하였고, 슬러지의 에너지화 시설 설치에 따른 경제성 및 부대효과를 분석함으로써 사업화 가능성을 검토하였다. 연구대상지역인 A산업단지에서 발생되는 슬러지발생 업종의 비율은 92%가 석유 화학업종인 것으로 분석되었다. 이렇게 발생된 슬러지는 매립>소각>>재활용>해양투기의 순으로 처리되고 있는 것으로 조사되었으며 슬러지를 채취하여 분석한 결과 발생량 가중치 평균으로 3,891kcal/kg인 것으로 분석되었다. 분석된 기초 데이터를 바탕으로 건조시설과 열병합 발전소를 설치하여 운영 할 경우 설치비용, 운영비용, 운영이익을 산출하였고, 총 8가지 Case로 분류하여 흑자전환유무 및 그 시점에 대한 시뮬레이션을 하였다. 분석결과 건조시설과 열병합발전소를 설치 운영하며 국고지원을 받을 경우 3년에 원금회복 후 4년째부터 흑자를 나타낼 것으로 분석되어 사업화 경제성이 있는 것으로 평가되었다.

섬유 텐터 대기오염물질의 선택적 제거를 위한 싸이클론 및 전기 집진 오일필터의 특성 (Characteristics of Cyclone and Electric Dust Collection Oil Filters for Selective Removal of Fiber Tenter Air Pollutants)

  • Among the dyeing industries, the tenter process is a process that improves the quality of fibers by drying and ironing (heat treatment) dyed fabrics, and drugs such as water repellents, antistatic agents, and fiber softeners are mainly used in these tenter processes. These drugs are vaporized in the process of treatment by high temperatures (180 ~ 230℃), and are observed in a complex form such as white smoke, oil mist, and fine dust, causing odor. To treat the complex exhaust gas at the rear end of the tenter facility, most companies operate by installing a wet scrubber and an adsorption tower alone or in parallel, but there are many problems. In particular, the insoluble oil mist at the rear end of the tenter has significantly low processing efficiency in the cleaning dust collection facility, and there is a problem in the facility by adsorption due to the occlusion phenomenon caused by the oil mist. In addition, the odor gas at the rear end of the tenter contains a lot of aldehydes, and in order to improve these various problems, a complex exhaust purification device using cyclone and electric support collector was developed. This study examined the applicability of economical and efficient technology by removing complex air pollution at the rear end of the tenter and applying improved technology than the existing technology.

GIS와 농업통계자료를 활용한 바이오매스 가용부존량 분석 (Analysis of Feasible Biomass Potential Using GIS and Aggregating Agricultural Census Data)

  • Recently, biomass application for energy is getting more interests from many countries since biomass is widely available over the nation wide, whereas fossil fuels are produced in several limited regions. Recognizing the importance, government is promoting renewable energy use in Korea. The locational characteristics of the existing biomass potential directly can be used to decide scale of power plant for local agricultural facility. Although there are a few studies on feasible biomass potential in local areas, it is expected that both government and commercial sectors recognize the potential of biomass energy and the importance of reducing greenhouse gases. When planning biomass energy systems, biomass price is determined by the costs of collection, transportation, chipping, drying if required. In this paper investigates the economic and spatial characteristic of biomass location by land use map. However typical area of each categories in local region is not correct to agricultural census data. Therefore we concerned about how to calculate feasible biomass potential which it can be describing total amount of plant scale, and to match both of data. Even though its spatial distribution, in rural area in Korea, to expand biomass energy programs in the area, government serve to find areas of higher biomass production with suitable locations for plants to convert to bio-energy in order to increase the usage of renewable energy.
