외상 후 스트레스장애에 대한 한방중재 고찰 - 재해정신보건 한의학적 치료 모델 연구 - (Oriental medical Intervention Research for Post traumatic stress disorder - A Model of Oriental medicine for Disaster Mental Health -)

  • Objectives : These days assaults and other natural and human disasters are increasing. But oriental medical treatment researches in Korea are limited in car accident PTSD patients only. Our object is to explore an oriental medical intervention model for the evidence-based approach to PTSD after diverse trauma including disasters. Methods : Domestic papers for Korean researches are obtained from oriental medical related journals by internet searching. International materials are obtained from PubMed searching and a publication from Department of Veterans' Affairs. After assorting searched articles into RCTs and non-RCTs, we analyzed the articles according to the elapsed time from trauma. Results : We confirmed that acupuncture, CBT, and PMR were effective in acute stage after traumatic event. And EMDR, EFT, and relaxation therapy were effective in chronic stage after traumatic event. Building on the findings, we proposed a model of oriental medicine for Disaster Mental Health. Conclusions : Analyzing previous researches about oriental medicine on PTSD, several interventions were confirmed the effectiveness on specific treatment stage. We could find the possibility of Oriental Medicine as a Disaster Mental Heath and proposed a model of Oriental medicine for Disaster Mental Health.

  • Nowadays, Cars are continuing to grow at an alarming rate but they also cause many problems such as traffic accident, pollutions and so on. One of the most effective methods that prevent traffic accidents is the use of traffic monitoring systems, which are already widely used in many countries. The monitoring system is beginning to be used in domestic recently. An intelligent monitoring system generates photo images of cars as well as identifies cars by recognizing their plates. That is, the system automatically recognizes characters of vehicle plates. An automatic vehicle plate recognition consists of two main module: a vehicle plate locating module and a vehicle plate number identification module. We study for a vehicle plate number identification module in this paper. We use image preprocessing, feature extraction, multi-layer neural networks for recognizing characters of vehicle plates and we present a feature-comparison method for improving the performance of vehicle plate number identification module. In the experiment on identifying vehicle plate number, 300 images taken from various scenes were used. Of which, 8 images have been failed to identify vehicle plate number and the overall rate of success for our vehicle plate recognition algorithm is 98%.

사고 누출 화학물질의 지하수 및 토양 환경 내 거동 및 환경 독성 특성 III: 유기화학물질을 중심으로 (Fate and Toxicity of Spilled Chemicals in Groundwater and Soil Environment III: organics)

  • This study presents a technical perspective to the fate characteristics of phenol and m-cresol, which represent some of the most common organic chemicals found in chemical spill accidents, and likely to persist in soil and groundwater due to their highly stable physicochemical properties. Some cases of domestic and foreign chemical accidents linked to phenol and m-cresol contamination were compiled. Due to their low organic carbon-water partitioning coefficient (Koc), phenol and m-cresol tend to migrate into groundwater and remained as dissolved phase. On the other hands, phenol and m-cresol can be readily decomposed by microbes in soil and groundwater under appropriate conditions. Therefore, the fate characteristics of these chemicals are highly contingent on environmental conditions. Thus, if a great quantity of leakage is occurred by chemical accidents, the up-to-date and correct information about fate characteristics taking into account both the chemical and environmental conditions is greatly needed to minimized the potential hazards from these chemicals.

  • 국내에 최근 세월호 사건을 포함하여 재난 및 안전관리관련 사건이 많이 발생되어 왔으나 재난 및 안전관리와 관련된 IoT 인지서비스 기술에 대한 표준 및 적용은 부족한 현실이다. 또한 M2M 및 IoT와 관련된 개별적인 기술은 어느정도 인지하고 있거나 알려져 있지만 통합적인 관점에서의 IoT를 활용하고 재난 및 안전과 관련하여 효율적인 서비스체계가 구축되어 있지 않다. 정부차원에서 재난 및 안전관리와 관련하여 여러 토론과 회의가 진행되었지만 아직까지 구체화되어 현실화되기에는 어려운 점이 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 IoT 서비스체계에 대해 살펴보고 IoT서비스 중 자동으로 인지하여 처리하는 기술에 대해 서비스관점에서 보다 효율적인 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Improvement Plan for Safety Management System related to Kids Cafe

  • As the number of kids cafes, one of the children's playgrounds, is increasing rapidly, safety accidents in the kids cafe are also increasing rapidly. The facility is also increasing as the need increases, but it is spreading without ensuring safety. In particular, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security for children's play facilities in the kids cafe, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for organic organizations are divided into different departments, so it is not easy for local governments to manage and supervise the actual business, and there are safety blind spots. Kids cafes have changed rapidly according to needs of children and guardians who are users, and there are many problems associated with them. Therefore, we identified problems that may arise due to insufficient safety management systems for kids cafes, investigated the safety management related to kids cafes in advanced countries, and compared and analysed them with domestic systems. As a result of the research, we proposed a safety management reinforcement system, and we hope to contribute to the reduction and prevention of kids café safety accidents.

국내외 지침 비교를 통한 Grommet 작업 안전성 향상 방안 연구 (Improvement of Grommet Work Safety by Comparision of Domestic and Foreign Guidelines)

  • The number of deaths caused by power crane accidents continues to decline. Nevertheless, more than 50 people die each year due to these accidents. Various types of slings, such as wire rope sling, chain sling, belt sling, and grommet, are used in industries, depending on the characteristics of the work involved. To reduce the number of accidents involving these slings, the formulation of technical measures and education of workers are necessary. This study compares and analyzes local and international guidelines as well as those found in manufacturer manuals in relation to grommets, which are widely used in shipyards and construction sites. Moreover, measures for improving the safety of work using grommet are reviewed. This paper further proposes the revision of the technical guidelines of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency such that the information directly affecting the safety of work involving grommets is included. By clarifying the guidelines that manufacturers provide in their manuals, accident prevention through worker awareness is anticipated in the future.

군 해체공사 안전관리 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Safety Management for Military Demolition Works)

  • Since the 2000s, the demand for private demolition works has been gradually increasing as the apartment housing market has been led by redevelopment and reconstruction. In the case of the military, the Ministry of National Defense is consolidating troops from each military unit to reorganize the unit structure in accordance with Defense Reform 2.0; the plan includes reducing the garrison used by each unit to 70% of its current level. Accordingly, the demand for demolition work in the military is also expected to increase. However, the military regulations do not reflect the relevant laws that have been revised recently. This study identifies regulations and system improvements for demolition work suitable for the military based on an analysis of accident cases that have occurred during demolition work, of domestic and foreign laws and regulations related to military demolition work, and of the problems with current military safety management at each stage of planning, design, and construction. The study subsequently proposes improvements for military demolition work, including budget execution adjustment, the establishment of training courses, on-site inspections, the development of guidelines for military demolition work, the provision of risk assessment standards, and the need for the qualification of equipment operators.

  • 전 사업장의 산업재해를 최소화하기 위해 정부는 다양한 안전보건정책을 발굴하여 적극적으로 운영하고 있다. 국내 사업장의 안전보건관리 역량은 사업장의 규모에 따라 큰 차이가 있으며 특히 50인 미만 사업장에서는 안전관리가 어려운 실정으로 이에 재해율은 상대적으로 높은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 이에 정부는 소규모 사업장의 안전보건확립을 위해서 안전보건기술지원사업을 운영하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 안전보건기술지원사업의 혜택을 받고 있는 소규모 사업장의 실태조사를 통해 본 사업의 내실화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

조종사 경력별 공간정위상실(SD) 회복 차이 분석을 통한효율적인 훈련방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Training Methods by Analyzing Differences inSpatial Disorientation Recovery according to Pilot Experience)

  • According to the results of a survey by Boeing, LOC-I (Loss of Control in Flight) was the highest in the number of deaths by fatality accident category in the past 10 years from 2012 to 2021, and the number of deaths worldwide due to LOC-I accidents was 757. It turned out to be the biggest cause of aircraft fatalities, with a figure close to twice the sum of UNK (Unknown or Undetermined), which is the 2nd place, and CFIT (Controlled Flight Into or Toward Terrain), which is the 3rd place. This study set six scenarios related to spatial disorientation that may occur during sensory-dependent flight targeting student pilots and instructor pilots at domestic designated specialized educational institutions using flight simulation training equipment, and in each scenario, the pilot's. The need for SDRT (Spatial Disorientation Recovery Training) is verified by analyzing the flight experience and recovery ability by qualification, and SDRT is repeatedly performed to verify and present the training cycle and time.

항공사 승무원의 운항조건에 따른 피로도 및 피로요인 분석 (Fatigue Analysis according to Flight Conditions of Airline Crew Members)

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many changes in the aviation industry as a whole. Passenger traffic has decreased, but on the contrary, the international transport demand for cargo planes has never been higher. Due to their geopolitical location when flying to major cities around the world, Korea's international pilots are bound to have relatively more jet lag-causing routes than their American or European-based pilots. Through this study, we tried to analyze the degree of fatigue and fatigue weighting factors according to operating conditions for domestic pilots. As a result of the study, the following conclusions were drawn. Despite the variety of models, routes, and fatigue between individuals, it was found that the 3 Pilot operation route was concentrated as a representative fatigue route. Most of the individual fatigue improvement request sections showed higher fatigue as the night flight section was longer among the 3Pilot routes for more than 12 hours, and 43 out of 90 participants (Korean Air pilots) focused on 3Pilot (two captains and one pilot) as fatigue-intensive operating conditions. Therefore, it proposes an improvement in the system of applying 12-hour unification standards according to Korea's geopolitical international operating conditions and time difference standards.
