Static Output Feedback Robust $H_{\infty}$ Fuzzy Control of Nonlinear Systems with Time-Varying Delay (시변 지연이 있는 비선형 시스템에 대한 $H_{\infty}$ 퍼지 강인제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, a robust $H_{\infty}$ stabilization problem to a uncertain fuzzy systems with time-varying delay via static output feedback is investigated. The Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is employed to represent an uncertain nonlinear systems with time-varying delayed state. Using a single Lyapunov function, the globally asymptotic stability and disturbance attenuation of the closed-loop fuzzy control system are discussed. Sufficient conditions for the existence of robust $H_{\infty}$ controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities.

  • 전력계통 운영 중에 발생할 수 있는 외란(Disturbance)에 대한 원인을 분석하기 위해서는 실시간 전력계통 데이터를 저장할 필요가 있다. EMS에서는 대량의 데이터를 매우 빠른 주기(수초 이내)로 취득하여 처리하고 있으며, 이러한 데이터를 손실 없이 저장하고 추후 분석 시 검색 속도를 고려해 효율적으로 데이터가 관리되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전력IT 국책과제로 진행되는 한국형 EMS(이하 K-EMS)의 기능 중에 실시간 전력계통 데이터를 효율적으로 저장, 관리할 수 있는 방법에 대한 설계, 구현한 내용에 대해 소개한다.

  • This paper proposes a new condition about delay-dependent robust $H_{\infty}$ control of uncertain linear systems with time-varying delay and randomly occurring disturbances. The norm bounded uncertainties are subjected to the system matrices. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a sufficient condition for designing a controller gain such that the closed-loop systems are asymptotically stable with $H_{\infty}$ disturbance level ${\gamma}$ is formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, two numerical examples are included to show the effectiveness of the presented method.

  • In this paper, a robust and reliable H$_{\infty}$ control problem is considered for linear uncertain systems with time-varying norm-bounded uncertainty in the state matrix, which performs well despite of actuator outages. Using linear static state feedback and the quadratic stabilization with H$_{\infty}$-norm bound, a robust and reliable H$_{\infty}$ controller is obtained that stabilizes the plant and guarantees an H$_{\infty}$-norm bound constraint on disturbance attenuation for all admissible uncertainties and normal state as well as faulty state of actuators. It provides a sufficient condition for robust and reliable stabilization with H$_{\infty}$-norm bound. Reliability is guaranteed provided actuator outages only occur within a prespecified subset of actuators.tors.

  • In this paper, a memoryless H$_{\infty}$ controller for linear systems with state and input delays is presented. The proposed controller is a delay independent stabilizer which reduces the H$_{\infty}$ norm of the closed loop transfer function, from the disturbance to the controlled output, to a precribed level. The controller is obtained by solving a minimization problem involving linear matrix inequalities.s.

  • Recently, two degrees of freedom PID control systems have attracted attention, because of their better process control quality for both set point variable tracking and disturbance resistivity than that of conventional PID control systems. This paper describes a new auto-tuning method for the two degrees of freedom PID control system based on a newly developed model matching method in the frequency domain. This new method has been introduced into a two degrees of freedom PID auto-tuning controller, named AdTune TOSDIC-21D8. The superior features of the controller and the results of field tests Are presented.

  • The flexibility and evolvability are critical characteristics of modern manufacturing to adapt to changes from products and disturbances in the shop floor. The technologies inspired from biology and nature enable to equip the manufacturing systems with these characteristics. This paper proposes an ant colony inspired autonomous manufacturing system in which the resources on the shop floor are considered as the autonomous entities. Each entity overcomes the disturbance by itself or negotiates with the others. The swarm of cognitive agents with the ant-like pheromone based negotiation mechanism is proposed for controlling the shop floor. The functionality of the developed system is proven on the test bed.

  • This paper addresses the robust fault tolerant controller design problems of static output systems with disturbance. The fault is expressed by the abrupt chattering of system parameters. The design conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities and linear matrix equalities. An illustrative example is provided to verify performances of the proposed controller.

  • This paper proposes the robust observer design for nonlinear systems with delayed output and external disturbance. It is shown that by considering a nonlinear term of error dynamics as an additional state variable, the nonlinear error dynamics with time delay can be transformed into the linear one with time delay. Sufficient conditions for existence of a robust observer are characterized by linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an illustrative example is given in order to show the effectiveness of our design method.

  • When the teleoperated system has a signal transmission time delay between slave and control system , the system stability as well as the position tracking and the force reflecting performances are likely to be deteriorated. This paper proposed a bilateral control scheme and a controller design method for the teleoperated control systems with a signal transmission time delay.
