동적역량, 운영역량, IT역량이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향 : 탐험과 활용을 중심으로 (The Effect of Dynamic Capabilities, Operational Capabilities, and IT Capabilities on Innovative Performance : Focusing on Exploration and Exploitation)

  • 본 연구는 동적역량과 혁신성과 간의 관계를 탐험과 활용의 관점에서 구분된 운영역량과 IT역량이 조절하고 매개하는지를 조사하였다. 178개 기업의 설문지를 분석한 결과, 포착역량과 재구성역량이 점진적 혁신성과와 급진적 혁신성과에 정(+), 탐험적 운영역량과 활용적 운영역량이 점진적 혁신성과에 정(+), 탐험적 운영역량이 급진적 혁신성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다. 또한 유의적인 상호작용항은 점진적 혁신성과에 대하여 '탐험적 운영역량*탐험적 IT역량', '탐험적 운영역량*활용적 IT역량', '활용적 운영역량*활용적 IT역량' 등이며, 급진적 혁신성과에 대하여 '탐험적 운영역량*탐험적 IT역량'이다. 유의한 매개효과가 검증된 경우는 7가지였다. 본 연구의 의미는 동적역량이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 직접 효과와 간접효과로 나누어 실증적인 연구를 최초로 시도하였으며 운영역량과 IT역량을 탐험과 활용 역량으로 구분하여 정밀한 분석을 하였다는 점이다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 기업이 적응하고 진화하는데 동적역량과 운영역량이 상호보완적인 역할을 한다는 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.

일제강점기 정읍 화호마을의 공간구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Organization of Hwaho-Village, Jeongeup, During the Japanese Colonial Period)

  • During the Japanese colonial period, Japan exploited the entire Korean Peninsula and targeted not only cities but also rural areas. The exploitation of rural area was accelerated with the support of Oriental colonization Company and The countryside was a living scene of direct exploitation. However, most of the research was concentrated in representative port cities such as Kunsan, which transports logistics such as rice and grains. There was insufficient research on how Japanese entered the country, how Korean were plundered, and the rural villages that were the target of exploitation. The contents of hi-exploitation were also historical and historical humanities such as colonial land ownership and farm management, and the spatial structure of the existing traditional villages were insufficiently investigated. Hwaho-ri, Shin Taein-eup, Jeollabuk-do, centered on Yongseo Village, there are many traces of farm houses, hospitals, employee residences, schools, churches, and Oriental colonization Company This study aims to study what changes traditional rural villages have brought by the Japanese colonial rule, centering on Hwaho-ri Village.

국내 생물다양성 평가를 위한 지표 선정 (Selection of Biodiversity Indicators for a National Assessment in Korea)

  • This study was conducted to select indicators for assessing national biodiversity. For this purpose, 140 biodiversity-related indicators were identified as a result of inventorying biodiversity-related indicators used in Korea and abroad, and when these indicators were applied to the pressure, status, and response indicator system, it was found that status indicators accounted for the largest number of indicators, with 29 pressure, 59 status, and 44 response. We also categorized the status indicators into genes, species, habitat, function, and quality, and found that species and habitat indicators accounted for the majority. Pressure indicators were categorized into direct exploitation, pollution, alien species, climate change, and habitat change. As a result, it was found that direct exploitation and pollution accounted for most of the pressure indicators. In addition, this study used internationally used indicator selection criteria to establish criteria for selecting domestic biodiversity assessment indicators. Using this list of indicators and indicator selection criteria, we evaluated the prioritization of domestically applicable biodiversity indicators through relevant expert consultations. 1) Vegetation class, 2) Land cover indicators, and 3) Change of protected area ranked highly. In fact, these indicators have been used in many studies due to the availability of assessable data. However, most of the highly scored indicators are based on ecosystem area, and further consideration of ecosystem functions and components(species) is needed.

  • Synthetic membrane processes are widely used in many industrial applications for concentrating and fractionating various components in solutions and suspensions. Advantages for using these processes include no phase change, direct separation without the use of additives, exploitation of large property differences.

정보시스템 분석수준 별 역동적 역량에 기반한 효율적 사용에 관한 연구 리뷰 (A Research Review on Effective Use of IS drawn on Multi-level Dynamic Capability)

  • Purpose The research on the effective use of IS needs to embrace the alignment to organization learning process, which expands the limited focus on dynamic capability of IS use. In addition, it should be done in multi-level analysis with system, user, task, and organization. The current study suggests the inclusion of multi-level analysis of effective use of IS in the perspective of exploration and exploitation. Design/methodology/approach This review selected the representative studies in IS discipline which have investigated the effective use of IS, dynamic capability, operational capability, exploration, exploitation, or organizational learning. In the search of academic archives with those keywords, seventeen papers which have been most cited were chosen and validated whether the focus constructs are directly theorized or validated the suggested keywords. In addition, the level of analysis was verified whether it includes one or more levels of system, individual, task, or organization. Based on the initial analysis of dynamic capability, the further review of research on explorational and exploitational capabilities was implemented. Findings The present review study on previous literature on effective use of IS presented that it is largely implemented in the level of individual but few of them has included organization level. Similarly, the direct investigation of explorational and exploitational use of IS has not been done so much. The needs of study on effective use of IS in depth have been inquired for a decade. However, the review presented that it still lacks profound theories and empirical validations compared to those of adoption stage of IS. Based on the review, future research on the transition between explorational and exploitational use of IS is suggested.

  • 동남아의 1천년에 관한 우리의 얘기는 아직도 쌀의 8천년에 관한 아시아의 얘기를 시작조차 못하고 있다. 그러한 서사가 왜 우리의 역사책에는 실리지 않는가? 적어도 동남아에 있어서 역사는 여전히 민족주의를 맴돌고 있다. 따라서 모든 민족은 농민과 전답이 아니라 제왕과 전투가 역사의 주연으로 등장하는 각자의 얘기를 가지고 있다. 그 줄거리는 정치와 민족성이지 농업과 생태학이 아니며, 그 가르침은 갈등과 경쟁이지 협동과 상생이 아니다. 그렇다면 지금도 숨어있는 것은 쌀이 일찍이 만들었고 아직도 좋아하는 지방의 협동과 지역의 보편성이다(O'Connor 2004, 29).

Dual Cache Architecture for Low Cost and High Performance

  • We present a high performance cache structure with a hardware prefetching mechanism that enhances exploitation of spatial and temporal locality. Temporal locality is exploited by selectively moving small blocks into the direct-mapped cache after monitoring their activity in the spatial buffer. Spatial locality is enhanced by intelligently prefetching a neighboring block when a spatial buffer hit occurs. We show that the prefetch operation is highly accurate: over 90% of all prefetches generated are for blocks that are subsequently accessed. Our results show that the system enables the cache size to be reduced by a factor of four to eight relative to a conventional direct-mapped cache while maintaining similar performance.

Fisheries Resources -A Brief Introduction of the Republic of Senegal

  • Fish is a major source of protein for the Senegalese population. Fishing plays a dominant role in the Government's policy towards generating employment. It currently generates about 100,000 direct jobs (fishermen) for nationals, of which more than 90% are in small-scale fishing. The fishing industry also contributes to Government revenue through different agreements. In addition to associated dues, fishing agreements imply a series of economic, trade and technical counterparts. Under the latest fishing agreement concluded by Senegal and the European Union (1997-2001), direct financial compensation amounts to about CFAF 32 billion. Despite its economic and social importance, the sector has to face serious disequilibria both in resource exploitation and market supply: the coastal demersal (deep lying fish) stocks with high market value (mostly exported) are fully and even over-exploited, with a serious risk of local market supply shortages looming ahead as the fishing effort shifts from locally consumed species to export-oriented ones.

Numerical simulation of compressive to tensile load conversion for determining the tensile strength of ultra-high performance concrete

  • In this study, the experimental tests for the direct tensile strength measurement of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) were numerically modeled by using the discrete element method (circle type element) and Finite Element Method (FEM). The experimental tests used for the laboratory tensile strength measurement is the Compressive-to-Tensile Load Conversion (CTLC) device. In this paper, the failure process including the cracks initiation, propagation and coalescence studied and then the direct tensile strength of the UHPC specimens measured by the novel apparatus i.e., CTLC device. For this purpose, the UHPC member (each containing a central hole) prepared, and situated in the CTLC device which in turn placed in the universal testing machine. The direct tensile strength of the member is measured due to the direct tensile stress which is applied to this specimen by the CTLC device. This novel device transferring the applied compressive load to that of the tensile during the testing process. The UHPC beam specimen of size 150 × 60 × 190 mm and internal hole of 75 × 60 mm was used in this study. The rate of the applied compressive load to CTLC device through the universal testing machine was 0.02 MPa/s. The direct tensile strength of UHPC was found using a new formula based on the present analyses. The numerical simulation given in this study gives the tensile strength and failure behavior of the UHPC very close to those obtained experimentally by the CTLC device implemented in the universal testing machine. The percent variation between experimental results and numerical results was found as nearly 2%. PFC2D simulations of the direct tensile strength measuring specimen and ABAQUS simulation of the tested CTLC specimens both demonstrate the validity and capability of the proposed testing procedure for the direct tensile strength measurement of UHPC specimens.

Performance Analysis of a savonius type direct drive turbine for wave energy conversion

  • Although oscillating water column type wave energy devices are nearing the stage of commercial exploitation, there is still much to be learnt about many facets of their hydrodynamic performance. The techniques of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are applied to simulate a wave energy conversion device in free surface such as waves. This research uses the commercially available ANSYS CFX computational fluid dynamics flow solver to model a complete oscillating water column system with savonius turbine incorporated at the rear bottom of the OWC chamber in a three dimensional numerical wave tank. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of an average wave condition on the performance and internal flow of a newly developed direct drive turbine (DDT) model for wave energy conversion numerically. The effects of blade angle and front lip shape on the hydrodynamic efficiency are investigated. The results indicated that the developed models are suitable to analyze the water flow characteristics both in the chamber and in the turbine. For the turbine, the numerical results of torque were compared for the all cases. The results of the testing have also illustrated that simple changes to the front wall aperture shape can provide marked improvements in the efficiency of energy capture for OWC type devices.
