  • Records on Japanese "Comfort Women" have been individually managed by private sectors or institutions, and some are provided as digital archives on the Internet. However, records of digital archives differ in the composition and representation of metadata by individual institutions. Meanwhile, there is a lack of a consistent structure to describe the relationships between and among these records, leading to their fragmentation and disconnectedness. This paper proposes a knowledge model for interlinking the digital archival resources and builds a knowledge graph by integrating the records from distributed digital archives. It derives common elements by analyzing metadata from the diverse digital archives and expresses them in standard vocabularies to semantically describe multiple entities and relationships of the digital archival resources. In particular, the study includes the refinement of collected data to search and thread dispersed records and the enrichment of external data to provide significant contextual information of records. An evaluation of the knowledge graph is performed via a query measuring the (dis)connectivity between the distributed records. As a result, the knowledge graph is capable of interlinking and retrieving fragmented records, providing substantial contextual information on the records with external data enrichment, and searching accurately to match the user's intentions through semantic-based queries.

  • Intelligent systems are systems that mainly use knowledge rather than data or information. Therefore, knowledge representation is an important factor for intelligent system construction. Conceptual graph is a logical knowledge representation language which has graphical form and it can represent knowledge efficiently. It is, however, cumbersome to use conceptual graphs directly for programming. Various tools were developed to overcome this difficulties. In this paper, we survey on functions and characteristics of conceptual graph tools that can be utilized for constructing intelligent systems by using conceptual graphs. The result of this survey will be very helpful to use conceptual graphs for development of intelligent systems.

  • Knowledge graph is a technology that improves search results by using semantic information based on various resources. Therefore, due to these advantages, the knowledge graph is being defined as one of the core research technologies to provide AI-based services recently. However, in the case of the knowledge graph, since the form of knowledge collected from various service domains is defined as plain text, it is very important to be able to analyze the text and understand its meaning. Recently, various lexical dictionaries have been proposed together with the knowledge graph, but since most lexical dictionaries are defined in a language other than Korean, there is a problem in that the corresponding language dictionary cannot be used when providing a Korean knowledge service. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an ontology based on the parts of speech of Korean. The proposed ontology uses 9 parts of speech in Korean to enable the interpretation of words and their semantic meaning through a semantic connection between word class and word class. We also studied various scenarios to apply the proposed ontology to vehicle services.

  • In this paper, we introduce a music recommendation system that automatically recommends music according to users' musical tastes. The recommendation system uses a graph-based collaborating filtering in which similarities between musics are saved as a graph, and so it can perform fast recommendation based on the implicit preference information. It also has capability of recommending music according to users' dynamically changing preferences as well as users' static preferences. The recommendation server is implemented as an independent server using Java, and communicates with clients according to a specified protocol. A demo web site has been built by using the server and music download data from actual users, and the accuracy of recommendation has been measured through experiments.

  • This paper propose the design method of the constructing the digital logic systems over galois fields using by the galois field decision diagram(GFDD) that is based on the graph theory. The proposed design method is as following. First of all, we discuss the mathematical properties of the galois fields and the basic properties of the graph theory. After we discuss the operational domain and the functional domain, we obtain the transformation matrixes, $\psi$GF(P)(1) and $\xi$GF(P)(1), in the case of one variable, that easily manipulate the relationship between two domains. And we extend above transformation matrixes to n-variable case, we obtain $\psi$GF(P)(1) and $\xi$GF(P)(1). We discuss the Reed-Muller expansion in order to obtain the digital switching functions of the P-valued single variable. And for the purpose of the extend above Reed-Muller expansion to more two variables, we describe the Kronecker product arithmetic operation.

  • This paper proposes the algorithms that design the highly digital logic circuit and assign the code to each node of DCG(Directed Cyclic Graph) of length ${\zeta}$. The conventional algorithm have some problems, so this paper introduce the matrix equation from DCG of length ${\zeta}$ and proposes highly digital logic circuit design algorithms according to the DCG of length ${\zeta}$. Using the proposed circuit design algorithms in this paper, it become realized that was able to design from former algorithm. Also, making a comparison between the circuit using former algorithm and this paper's, we testify that proposed paper's algorithm is able to realize more optimized circuit design. According to proposed circuit design algorithm in this paper, it is possible to design current that DCG have natural number, so it have the following advantages, reduction of the circuit input/output digits, simplification of circuit composition, reduction of computation time and cost. And we show comparability and verification about this paper's algorithm.

  • Recently, many social networking services using mobile devices are spread. Also, many studies based on location and time are increasing. However, existing studies have been difficult to resolve queries by place, time, and events. In the paper, we propose time and space modeling method for social services. We propose Human Activity Graph and Quad Relation Factors through time, place, event, and social activity of users, and we design the database scheme for data collect and analysis.

  • Highly informative admissible heuristics can help to conduct more efficient search for optimal solutions. However, in general, more informative ones of heuristics from planning problems requires lots of computational effort. To address this problem, we propose an Delete Relaxation based Action Costs-based Planning Graph(ACPG) and Action Costs-based Heuristics for solving optimal planning problems more efficiently. The ACPG is an extended one to be applied to can find action costs between subgoal & goal conditions from the Relaxed Planning Graph(RPG) which is a common means to get heuristics for solving the planning problems, Action Costs-based Heuristics utilizing ACPG can find action costs difference between subgoal & goal conditions in an effective way, and then consider them to estimate the goal distance. In this paper, we present the heuristics algorithm to compute Action Costs-based Heuristics, and then explain experimental analysis to investigate the efficiency and the accuracy of the Action Costs-based Heuristics.

  • The notions of digital k-homotopy equivalence and digital ($k_0,k_1$)-homotopy equivalence were developed in [13, 16]. By the use of the digital k-homotopy equivalence, we can investigate digital k-homotopy equivalent properties of Cartesian products constructed by the minimal simple closed 4- and 8-curves in $\mathbf{Z}^2$.
