Studies were made on differences among types and varieties of rice in stomatal density and gas diffusion resistance, and on the relationship between these traits and photosynthetic rate. Significant differences among types and varieties were found stomatal density and gas diffusion resistance. Generally, stomatal density was higher in indica varieties than in Japonica varieties, gas diffusion resistance was lower in the former than in the later, in varieties developed through indica-japonica hybridization it was intermadiate. The stomatal density was closely positively correlated with the gas conductivity and the net photosynthetic rate, was not correlated with single leaf area, and had significant negative correlation with specific leaf weight. Higher photosynthetic rate of indica varieties mainly results from its high stomatal density and low gas diffusion resistance. The result also suggested that high photosynthetic rate might be obtained if the high stomatal density and low gas diffusion resistance in indica could be combined with the larger specific leaf weight in japonica through crossing between two.
In this paper, factors affecting intra-organizational diffusion of Big Data systems from the perspective of the Big Data system vendors have been analyzed. In particular, the theory of resistance against innovation that exists in some form before the adoption or rejection of innovation has been focused on. In order to do that, the resistance has been divided into three categories : postponement, rejection and opposition. The variables affecting each type are also divided into four independent variables : perceived risk, innovation characteristics, user attributes, and organizational attributes. As a result of the survey, it was confirmed that the influences of each variable are different according to the type of resistance. As the strength of the resistance was increased, the influence of the trialability was increased as well. As the strength of the resistance was decreased, the satisfaction with the existing system became more influential on the resistance. The time risk and the satisfaction with the existing system were found to affect all types of resistance. From the vendor's point of view, strategic implications are presented in terms of marketing or system development for diffusion, depending on the degree of resistance of the adopter.
It has been observed that coated steel structures deteriorate more rapidly than the designed lifetime due to acid rain caused by air pollution, etc. Therefore, improving the corrosion resistance of anti-corrosive paint is very important in terms of safety and the economic point of view. In this study, the corrosion resistance of five kinds of anti-corrosive paints, including the Acryl, Fluorine, and Epoxy resin series, were investigated with electrochemical methods, such as corrosion potential measurements, polarization curves, diffusion limiting current density, etc. As a result, the corrosion resistance of the F101 specimen with the fluorine resin series was found to be superior to the other specimens, while E100 with the epoxy resin series also showed a somewhat good corrosion resistance. Furthermore, it was observed that the amount of water and oxygen entering the inner side of a painted film increased with an increase in immersion time, irrespective of the kind of resin series. However, the oxygen diffusion limiting current density of a specimen with good corrosion resistance was relatively decreased compared to other specimens, because of the difficulty of oxygen diffusion penetrating to the inner side of the film. Consequently it is suggested that we can qualitatively evaluate the corrosion resistance of an anti-corrosive paint by measuring the diffusion limiting current density as an electrochemical method.
In the WSi2/CVD-Si/SiO2 polycide structure, electrode resistance and its property were studied as a function of deposition temperature and thickness of CVD-Si, diffusion condition of POCl3, and WSi2 being deposited or not. Resistivity of poly-Si is decreased with increment of thickness in the case of POCl3 diffusion of low sheet resistance, but it is increased in the case of high sheet resistance. The resistivity of amorphous-Si is generally lower than that of poly-Si. Initial sheet resistance of poly-Si/WSi2 gate electrode is affected by the thickness and resistance of poly-Si layer, but final resistance after anneal, 900$^{\circ}C$/30min/N2, is only determined by WSi2 layer. Flourine diffuses into SiO2, but tungsten does not. In spite of out-diffusion of phosphorus into WSi2 layer, the sheet resistance is not changed.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the diffusion period and productivity of smartwork in an organization. Firms are increasingly interested in smartwork for non contact work and working from home because of the corona 19. The smartwork is a new technology that changes face-to-face work in an organization. It helps the work of individuals and organizations regardless of time and place. The theoretical background describes the complexity, system thinking, diffusion theory, smart work, organizational resistance, and productivity. This study analyzes the diffusion period and productivity of smart work through business simulation techniques. A simulation study progresses four stages. There are problem definition, hypothesis establishment and causal loop diagram, model construction and verification, and policy evaluation. The simulation models contain an individual's resistance variables organizational investment and leadership variables related to the operation of smartwork. The organizational investment variables include organizational culture, legal system, implement systems and technology investment. The individual resistance variables include cognitive, attitude, structure and technological resistance. The leadership includes leadership interest variables and performance linkage variables. The simulation executed the changes of a people number adopting smart work and the organizational productivity monthly. As a result of the simulation, many organization members have accepted the smart work innovation after 20 months. The organizational productivity through smart work showed very high value after 16 months. In scenario analysis, the individuals' awareness and attitude resistance showed very important variables to productivity and a personal change of smart work adoption. Meanwhile, The organizational investment showed that the high driving-force increased not productivity and the low driving-force showed decreased low productivity. Also, leadership variables showed a powerful driver for changing smart work productivity. The implication of the study has suggested extending complexity, diffusion theory and organization resistance theory based on simulation methods.

The protective oxide scales and coatings formed on high temperature materials must be preserved in high temperature atmosphere. And the thermal stresses induced by thermal cycling and the growth stresses by the formation of oxide scales can cause the loss of adherence and spalling of the oxide scales and coated layers. Among the coating processes Al diffusion coating is favored due to thermochemical stability and superior adherence in an hostile atmosphere. In this study, protective oxide forming element, Al was coated on Ni, Inconel 600 and 690 by diffusion coating process varying coating temperature and time. And the surface stability and adherence of oxide scales formed on those Al diffusion coated materials were evaluated by thermal cycling test. Al diffusion coated specimens showed superior cyclic oxidation resistance compared to bare ones and specimens coated for longer period had better cyclic oxidation resistance, due to the abundant amount of Al in the coated layer. Meanwhile Al diffusion coated Inconel 600 and 690 showed improved cyclic oxidation resistance by the effect of Al in the coated layer and Cr in the substrate. Comparing both Al diffusion coated Inconel 600 and 690, Al diffusion coated Inconel 690 maintained better adhesion between coated layer and substrate by virtue of the bridging effect resulting from the segregation of Cr in the interdiffusion zone.
In this study, the wear resistance of the complex powder diffusion treated KS STD 61 has been investigatived. KS STD 61 tool steel was pretreated in quenching and tempering processes to obtain the tempered martensitic microstructure. The samples were packed with complex powder in steel pot($\Phi$90x60mm) and heated in a box furnace. the complex powder diffusion treatment are carried out at $540^{\circ}C$, $520^{\circ}C$, $500^{\circ}C$ for 40min, 1.5hr and 2.5hr. The microstructure, microhardness, wear resistance, and coating layer thickness of the complex powder diffusion treated samples were investigation. The weight loss of as heat treated sample was 0.4mg and that of the complex powder treated at $540^{\circ}C$ for 2.5hr was 0.17mg. These result means that the wear resistance of tool steels can be easily improved by the powder diffusion process at conventional tempering treatment temperature.

The Ni base superalloy Mar-M247 substrate was aluminized or aluminized after boronizing by the pack cementation under Ar atmosphere. The hot corrosion resistance and after-heat-treatment effect of aluminized specimens were studied by the cyclic hot corrosion test in $Na_2SO_4$-NaCl molten salt. XRD analysis showed that the $Ni_2Al_3$ phase was formed between the coated layer and substrate below 1273K but the NiAl phase above 1273K. The peak of the NiAl phase was developed after heat treatment. Corrosion test showed that corrosion resistance of the specimen with the NiAl phase was better than that with the $Ni_2Al_3$ phase. Corrosion resistance could be improved by heat treatment to form ductile NiAl phase, where cracks were not formed by thermal shock on coating layer. Moreover, it appeared that heat treatment played a role to improve corrosion resistance of Al diffusion coating above 1273K. The existence of boron in the Al diffusion coating layer obstructed outwared diffusion of Cr from the substrate, and it influenced on corrosion resistance of the coating layer by weakening adherence of the oxide scale.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of conditions for quenching and/or tempering on the corrosion and hydrogen diffusion behavior of ultra-strong automotive steel in terms of the localized plastic strain related to the dislocation density, and the precipitation of iron carbide. In this study, a range of analytical and experimental methods were deployed, such as field emission-scanning electron microscopy, electron back scatter diffraction, electrochemical permeation technique, slow-strain rate test (SSRT), and electrochemical polarization test. The results showed that the hydrogen diffusion parameters involving the diffusion kinetics and hydrogen solubility, obtained from the permeation experiment, could not be directly indicative of the resistance to hydrogen embrittlement (HE) occurring under the condition with low hydrogen concentration. The SSRT results showed that the partitioning process, leading to decrease in localized plastic strain and dislocation density in the sample, results in a high resistance to HE-induced by aqueous corrosion. Conversely, coarse iron carbide, precipitated during heat treatment, weakened the long-term corrosion resistance. This can also be a controlling factor for the development of ultra-strong steel with superior corrosion and HE resistance.
Aqueous phase adsorption of phenols by granular activated carbon was studied in a batch adsorption vessel. Adsorption Isotherms of phenol(Ph), p-chlorophenol(PCP) and p-nitrophenol (PNP) from aqueous solution on granular activated carbon have been obtained. The experimental data were analyzed by the surface and pore diffusion models. Both models could be applied to predict the adsorption phenomena. However, the pore diffusion model was slightly better than the surface diffusion model In representing the experimental data for the initial concentration changes. Therefore, the pore diffusion model was used to predict the change of operating variables such as the agitation speed and Particle size of adsorbent which have influence on the film resistance and intraparticle diffusion.
