Single-parent families are on the rise because of the death of one parent for various disasters and rapid rise of divorce, single-parents suffer various stress such as economical difficulties and emotional confusion like domestic duties, nurturing, remarriage originated from the lost of one spouse. Especially the purpose of this study was to develop family life education program focused on single-fathers. This program was developed in the viewpoint of the family consolidation. The program was composed of 3 dimensions; the stress management from domestic duties, the guideline of child nurturing, and the good remarriage. And the trial method and assessment method were suggested. The advantages of this program were the objects and contents : This program put the focus in the single-fathers which were ignored in other researches, and in the source of anxiety of single-fathers originated daily family life. This program will provide useful data for an intervention of proper welfare policy of single-father families.

Purpose: The prevalence rate of stroke is increasing due to the rise in the aging population. The stroke sequela, including physical and mental disabilities, remain even though patients are alive, and these circumstances are causing major problems, both socially and economically. This correlation study aimed to identify uncertainty, depression, and quality of life among stroke patients. Methods: Participants included 94 outpatients who were diagnosed with stroke and discharged from a tertiary hospital in S city. Between September and October 2014, a survey on uncertainty, depression, and quality of life was conducted. Data collected were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. Results: The average scores of uncertainty, depression, and quality of life were 48.36 out of 80, 41.90 out of 80, and 175.94 out of 245, respectively. The uncertainties exhibited a positive correlation with depression and a negative correlation with quality of life. The correlation between depression and quality of life was found to be negative. Conclusion: To enhance the quality of life of stroke patients, interventions to reduce uncertainty and depression as well as improve physical care to reduce difficulties in daily living should be implemented.

The purpose of this study was to use phenomenological perspectives to identify the meaning and structure of the exercise experiences in patients with low back pain. The participants were 20 patients who live in one city. The patients were asked to describe their exercise experiences. With permission of the subjects, the interviews were recorded and transcribed. Colaizzi's method was used for the phenomenological analysis. The investigator analysed the data to identify and categorize themes and basic structural elements. The process of the exercise experiences in patients with low back pain has three proposed phases pre-exercise phase, exercise phase, post-exercise phase. 150 formulating meanings, 54 themes, 20 theme clusters were identified. The interview data were organized by theme clusters into 9 categories : 'difficulties with activities of Daily Living', 'Psychological Distress', 'Support', 'Effectiveness after Exercise', 'Confidence of Healing', 'Importance of Exercise', 'Exorcise Self-Efficacy', 'Control', and 'Barrier'. Since the importance of exercise and exercise self-efficacy were identified as significant factors in this study, it may be important to plan nursing interventions to assist clients to realize the exercise self-efficacy and importance of exercise. Also, continuous support from health professionals, family, and experienced persons are needed. Further strategies for reducing barriers should be devised.

The changes of neighbor relation by joining communal childcare cooperative are as follows. Neighbors who are cooperative members are consultant who advise on childcare and communal parents who nurture children in communal local society. They are also consultant on problems of couples because one can reveal difficulties and troubles in the relation with the spouse easily to the neighbors. They admit gradually that their daily life can also be shared with other families. Living with neighbors extend the boundary of family and form a sound family culture. On the other hand, because their relationship is satisfactory, they have no need to form relationship with neighbors who are not cooperative members. They regard neighbors who are not cooperative members as 'peoples with different color from us'. Also they recognize exclusive eyesight from neighbor who are not cooperative members. The changes of family relation by joining communal childcare cooperative are as follows. In the relationship between wife and husband, both husband and wife take equal responsibility of childcare and that husband gets to familiar with household matters. In the relationship between parents and children, equality comes true and parents get to blow wars to be good parents. And they neither attach to their children nor bear expansive delusions on their children.

Objective: Covid-19 is changing many aspects of child care programs. The objective of this study was to explore how the pandemic and mitigation efforts affected the experiences and practices at child care centers in the summer of 2020. Methods: Focus group interviews and mobile surveys were conducted with principals and teachers of child care centers in August and September 2020. Descriptive statistics including frequency distributions, means and standard deviations and mean differences were used to analyze the survey data with SPSS 22.0. Results: It was found that each sector of child care settings experienced different difficulties and had various needs. Young children's lack of energy, child care teachers' workload and stress, and principles' efforts to interrupt transmission of the infectious disease based on insufficient government guideline and supports were revealed as the main experiences. Conclusion/Implications: The Covid-19 pandemic has had a tandem of influences on daily life at child care centers. As policy makers consider additional guidelines or supports measures to prevent the infection and spread of Covid-19 at child care centers, long-term as well as short-term plans at various levels should be considered to meet the unique needs of child care programs.

These days, the Internet networks have rapidly expanded and used in various fields and been recognized as essential in our daily life. However, there are users who have difficulties in access to web sites like those with physical disabilities. Therefore, our country as well as developed countries have paid more attention to web access, and organized investigation and research are needed. This study presents how to reduce the number of access for efficient web access by the visually disabled and designs user interface.

This paper is built upon an attempt to answer the question: "What can be done to facilitate social integration between the elderly of Bagac, Bataan and the communication students of St. Paul University Manila?" The research was designed as a qualitative inquiry that involved an outreach activity by 24 dominantly female students of Development Communication to the senior citizens of Bagac, Bataan (Philippines) and a reflection period involving the students. The students were tasked to pay special attention to the digital engagements and/or disengagements of the elderly to allow them to learn more about the difficulties and potential of using social media in development-related projects involving senior citizens. The actual two-hour encounter involved socialization between the elderly and the students. The students, prior to the encounter, were tasked to generate the funds, use them to acquire and prepare the gifts, develop the program during the actual encounter based on research-based guidelines, and photo document the entire activity. They were given guide questions for reflections a week after. The reflections were thematically analyzed and revealed that in order to facilitate greater social integration between the elderly and the communication students. The university should address the health and digital aversion issues that intensify the sense of isolation of the elderly experience daily. This can be done by enhancing the communication skills of the communication students in 16 areas.

Driving-related injuries associated with elderly drivers are on the rise, although the overall rate of driving-related injuries has decreased. To determine the causes of this trend, we researched existing vehicle systems that use different sensors and signals to promote safe driving. We found that although the systems alert drivers to potential collisions and assist them in finding a location easily, they were created by people who rarely use the systems in their daily lives. For the most part, they're not created by people with driving difficulties caused by health problems, which in turn often afflict the elderly. To address this issue, we analyzed the drawbacks of the current systems and used a focus group of people with body conditions that have declined due to age to discover the problems they encounter while driving. With the focus group, we used diverse research activities, such as observation and interview to demonstrate how new system concepts could be developed for the elderly. Finally, we propose that adequate system concepts for the elderly would improve driving safety and provide a more enjoyable driving environment for this population.

There are clinical cases that always give us trouble in our daily practice. But, those kind of difficulties may be from our intradisciplinary approach not from interdisciplinary approach. Many dentists are getting good results from interdisciplinary treatments, involving periodontics, operative dentistry and prosthodontics. But, the orthodontics is the discipline can't be missed to the dentists trying to esthetic treatment. Here, I'd like to share the following cases because I couldn't get esthetic outcomes if there was no orthodontic involvement, with periodontics, operative dentistry and prosthodontics.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is effective for people with an addiction tendency. This study aims to implement a CBT program for college students at high risk of smartphone addiction and investigate the impact of the program on their desire to use a smartphone, depression, impulsivity, and anxiety. Baseline/post-intervention evaluation and the ABA' single-case experimental design were used. The study consisted of the baseline phase (A), pre-evaluation, intervention phase (B), post-evaluation, and baseline phase (A'). Six participants were enrolled, and the main outcome variables were daily changes in the desire to use a smartphone and changes in depression, impulsivity, and anxiety after the program. Prior to the intervention, all six participants had mild to moderate depression, but after the intervention, three were normal, two had mild depression, and only one had moderate depression. Impulsivity and anxiety scores decreased after the intervention, with anxiety scores showing the most dramatic change. The percentage of non-overlapping data for the baseline phase (A)-intervention phase (B) was more than 75% and that for baseline phase (A)-baseline phase (A') was 100% for all 6 participants. This study presented a good protocol for people with low access to psychological therapy. We expect the findings will be highly useful for people suffering from psychological difficulties due to smartphone addiction.
