  • We give characterizations of the differentiability points and the non-differentiability points of the Riesz-N$\'{a}$gy-Tak$\'{a}$cs(RNT) singulr function using the distribution sets in the unit interval. Using characterizations, we show that the Hausdorff dimension of the non-differentiability points of the RNT singular function is greater than 0 and the packing dimension of the infinite derivative points of the RNT singular function is less than 1. Further the RNT singular function is nowhere differentiable in the sense of topological magnitude, which leads to that the packing dimension of the non-differentiability points of the RNT singular function is 1. Finally we show that our characterizations generalize a recent result from the ($\tau$, $\tau$ - 1)-expansion associated with the RNT singular function adding a new result for a sufficient condition for the non-differentiability points.

  • Let $S(R^d)$ be the Schwartz space of infinitely differentiable functions on $R^d$ which vanish at $\infty$ and $S'(R^d)$ be its dual space. The theory of stochastic differential equations(SDEs) governing processes that takes values in the dual of countably Hilbertian nuclear space such as $S'(R^d)$ studied by many authors(e.g [M],[KM]). Let M be a martingale measure defined by Walsh[W], then M can be considered as a $S'(R^d)$-valued process in a certain condition i.e. M has a version of $S'(R^d)$-valued martingale process. • The goal of this paper is to study the existence of non-trivial non-negative weak solution for the nonlinear elliptic equation: $$-div(h(x){\nabla}u)=f(x,u)\;in\;{\Omega}$$ with Dirichlet boundary condition in a bounded domain ${\Omega}{\subset}\mathbb{R}^N$, $N{\geq}3$, where $h(x){\in}L^1_{loc}({\Omega})$, $f(x,s)$ has asymptotically linear behavior. The solutions will be obtained in a subspace of the space $H^1_0({\Omega})$ and the proofs rely essentially on a variation of the mountain pass theorem in [12].

  • In this paper we study the existence of non-trivial weak solutions of the Neumann problem for quasilinear elliptic equations in the form $$-div(h(x){\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}^{p-2}{\nabla}u)+b(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u=f(x,\;u),\;p{\geq}2$$ in an unbounded domain ${\Omega}{\subset}\mathbb{R}^N$, $N{\geq}3$, with sufficiently smooth bounded boundary ${\partial}{\Omega}$, where $h(x){\in}L_{loc}^1(\overline{\Omega})$, $\overline{\Omega}={\Omega}{\cup}{\partial}{\Omega}$, $h(x){\geq}1$ for all $x{\in}{\Omega}$. The proof of main results rely essentially on the arguments of variational method.

  • Noncommutative extensions of the Gross and Beltrami Laplacians, called the quantum Gross Laplacian and the quantum Beltrami Laplacian, resp., are introduced and their basic properties are studied. As noncommutative extensions of the Fourier-Gauss and Fourier-Mehler transforms, we introduce the quantum Fourier-Gauss and quantum Fourier- Mehler transforms. The infinitesimal generators of all differentiable one parameter groups induced by the quantum Fourier-Gauss transform are linear combinations of the quantum Gross Laplacian and quantum Beltrami Laplacian. A characterization of the quantum Fourier-Mehler transform is studied.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present an operator method of regularization for the problem of finding a solution of a system of nonlinear ill-posed equations with a monotone hemicontinuous mapping and N inverse-strongly monotone mappings in Banach spaces. A regularization parameter choice is given and convergence rate of the regularized solutions is estimated. We also give the convergence and convergence rate for regularized solutions in connection with the finite-dimensional approximation. An iterative regularization method of zero order in a real Hilbert space and two examples of numerical expressions are also given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

  • A canonical Finsler connection Nr is defined by a generalized Finsler structure called a (G, N)-structure, where G is a generalized Finsler metric and N is a nonlinear connection given in a differentiable manifold, respectively. If NT is linear, then the(G, N)-structure has a linearity in a sense and is called Berwaldian. In the present paper, we discuss what it means that NT is with a vanishing hv-torsion: ${P^{i}}\;_{jk}\;=\;0$ and introduce the notion of a stronger type for linearity of a (G, N)-structure. For important examples, we finally investigate the cases of a Finsler manifold and a Rizza manifold.

  • We give a function associated with generalized Ostrowski type inequality and its integral representation for local fractional calculus. Then, using this function and its integral representation, we establish several inequalities of generalized Ostrowski type for twice local fractional differentiable functions. We also consider some special cases of the main results which are further applied to a concrete function to yield two interesting inequalities associated with two generalized means.

  • The semilocal convergence of the secant method under $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ continuous divided differences in a Banach space setting for solving nonlinear equations has been examined by us in [3]. The local convergence was recently examined in [4]. Motivated by optimization considerations and using the same hypotheses but more precise estimates than in [4] we provide a local convergence analysis with the following advantages: larger radius of convergence and finer error estimates on the distances involved. The results can be used for projection methods, to develop the cheapest possible mesh refinement strategies and to solve equations involving autonomous differential equations [1], [4], [7], [8].

  • In Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) which realizes continuous mappings, the output errors is directly affected by the weight errors which may be caused by the limited precision of digital or analog hardware in implementations. So, it is important to study the sensitivity due to the perturbation of connection weights between neurons. In this paper, we derive a sensitivity function to the statistical weight perturbations in MLP with differentiable activation functions. This sensitivity function can be regarded as an ensemble average of deterministic sensitivity measures due to the perturbations of weights. Hence, this sensitivity function can be used as the criteria for selecting weights with the minimum sensitivity among possible sets of connection weights in MLP. For the verification of the validity of the proposed sensitivity function, computer simulations have been performed and through the simulations we find good agreement between the theoretical and simulation results.
