Recently, there have been many changes in researches of mathematics education. There is a growing number of researchers who are interested in empirical researches. According to the these changes, there is also an emphasis on methodology of mathematics education. This means that many researchers try to conduct an research using scientific approach. Therefore, new types of research developing mathematics courses recently has evolved as follows: teaching experiment, hypothetical loaming trajectory, design science, developmental research. The aim of this study is to reflect on developmental research in RME and to induce desirable directions for developing our mathematics courses. In order to attain these purposes, the present paper reflects the philosophy of RME, aim, procedure, data collection, data analysis, and justification of developmental research with illustrating a exemplar Based on these reflections, it is discussed that it needs to construct the mathematics curriculum connecting theory and practice in mathematics education, to report the process of developing mathematics courses faithfully, and to develop real mathematics courses after conducting basic developmental researches in order to take scientific app- roaches for developing mathematics courses.

This paper demonstrated how application of evolutionary knowledge to developmental perspectives enhances understanding of human ontogeny. Evolutionary Developmental Psychology (EDP) explains human behavior through evolutionary principles and focuses on ontogeny rather than phylogeny. In this paper, the authors review concepts of evolution, adaptations, and the processes of evolution from EDP perspectives. The definition and basic assumptions of EDP are introduced, followed by explanations of how evolution happens in ontogeny by looking at developmental systems approaches, concepts of ontogenetic and deferred adaptations, evolution of childhood, and brain plasticity. Possible pathways of evolution in ontogeny are also discussed. Finally, some research methodology for applying EDP to child development is suggested with specific hypotheses and studies.

The purposes of the article are to explore historical contexts where everyday life is identified as the essence of family studies, and to suggest qualitative methodology which is effective to understand meanings of family everyday life. Everyday life is the integrity of the time when family members progress in a family life cycle, the space where they interact with each other, and the way how they achieve their developmental tasks. Qualitative methodology, coming from interpretive science paradigm, focuses on those processes, interactions, and meanings of family members in natural settings. Example researches are introduced to show what specific topic can be studied and how they be interpreted for exploring family everyday life. The future of studying everyday life is discussed in terms of the research topic and the methods.

This study investigates aspects of the zone of proximal development (ZPD), the distance between the actual development and the potential development. Out of 18 university students taking a geometry course, two students with the same actual developmental level in the van Hiele model in the pre-test and post-test were interviewed for measuring their potential developmental level. Based on the communicational approach to cognition, the characteristics of the two interviewees' discourse on 3D reflective symmetry were identified. There were considerable differences between the two interviewees in terms of their potential developmental level. Methodological implications for how to investigate students' ZPD in mathematics education research were addressed.

Purpose: This study aimed to develop and evaluate a mobile application focusing on developmental support care for infants born prematurely. Methods: An application was developed using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation model. In the analysis phase, previous research was evaluated through big data text-mining and a literature review. In the design phase, the preliminary content of the application was designed, and the content validity and comprehension were verified. A hybrid application was developed and used by eight experts and ten users, who evaluated the layout of the mobile application and their satisfaction with it. Results: The content of the designed application comprised a diary, customized information, developmental play, and community. The mean scores for layout were 3.73±0.47 and 3.43±0.68 out of 4 points among the experts and users, respectively. Users' mean satisfaction score was 3.70±0.70 out of 5 points. Conclusion: The information provided by the mobile application was evaluated as consistent and systematic. The application was also found to be satisfactory by infants' parents. The mobile application developed through this study is expected to be effective in supporting the development of children born prematurely.

Purpose - This study aims to suggest a developmental direction to small enterprisers who start their business. The developmental direction makes the small enterprisers more stable with providing the Business District Information System service, which offers the location and business area's information aimed at pre-enterprisers after analyzing its overcrowded index's current state and problems. Research design, data, and methodology - This research proposes the developmental direction for helping the pre-small enterprisers to have more stability through examining the Business District Information System's-operated by Small Enterprise and Market Service-overcrowded index's current state and problems. Results - This system has drawbacks about giving the start-up overcrowded index as follows: ① non-accurate consultative group for sharing the DB ② providing analysis information, not evaluation information ③ not to anticipate the changes of business types & the flow of business district and perceive the symptom data with providing predictive information. Conclusions - This system should be more publicized through the mass media for making it approachable with collecting the user's opinion and investigating customer satisfaction & the level of awareness.

Today's Eastern philosophers try to use the formal logic organized by Aristotle, saying that there was no logic in the East. This researcher found that Confucius and other Asians used Che-Yong logic. The Che-Yong logic is based on the Che-Yong law, which is a natural law. The Che-Yong law consists of the Che-Yong principle and the Hyeon-Mi principle. The Hyeon-Mi principle is that if there is an appearance on the outside, there is a corresponding cause in it. The Che-Yong principle is that the highest common cause of various appearances is Che, and the Che grows and changes on its own to become a Yong. Identifying Che and predicting Yong is Che-Yong logic. Here, I'd like to introduce Che-Yong logic and suggest a new research methodology to apply it.

This research intends to propose the methodology for analyzing the current trends of agriculture, which directly connects to the survival of the nation, and through this methodology, identify the agricultural trend of Korea. Based on the relationship between three types of data - policy reports, academic articles, and news articles - the research deducts the major issues stored by each data through LDA, the representative topic modeling method. By comparing and analyzing the LDA results deducted from each data source, this study intends to identify the implications regarding the current agricultural trends of Korea. This methodology can be utilized in analyzing industrial trends other than agricultural ones. To go on further, it can also be used as a basic resource for contemplation on potential areas in the future through insight on the current situation. database of the profitability of a total of 180 crop types by analyzing Rural Development Administration's survey of agricultural products income of 115 crop types, small land profitability index survey of 53 crop types, and Statistics Korea's survey of production costs of 12 crop types. Furthermore, this research presents the result and developmental process of a web-based crop introduction decision support system that provides overseas cases of new crop introduction support programs, as well as databases of outstanding business success cases of each crop type researched by agricultural institutions.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to generate industrial insights for developing sports movie industry. Related studies are scare. Research design, data, and methodology: The study employed case study and selected typical case samples who seem informative about sport movie industry. The authors interviewed six experts who are experienced in sport movie and related academic sector. Interviews were audio-taped and the text were decoded by multiple reading. Through this process, the study categorized significant meanings and produced results. Interviewees reviewed again the final findings to confirm validity, which calls member check. Results: It was suggested that developmental factors of sports movie were the realization of realistic sports scenes by using technologies. Second, participants told that contents of sport movie need to reflect real stories and it should tell the stories. Regarding constraints of sport movies, movie producers feel difficulty to make scenes in that sports are inherently quickly performed. Another constraints are that production cost is expensive but audiences are barely attended. Conclusions: For promoting economic outcomes and developing sport movie industry, government needs to financially support related markets to support sport movie producers assisting them to concentrate their movie works. Future directions for related-studies were discussed.

The number of studies on social media has increased rapidly worldwide. There has been, however, little effort to assess the achievements and limitations of social media studies up to present. The purpose of this study is to provide a systematical viewpoint on social media research published by scholarly business-related journals. Our analysis focus on research topic, functionality, targeted media types, methodology, and characteristics. User research receives the most attention, followed by effect research in terms of developmental models of media research agenda. The major methodological trend is online survey. Facebook and twitter are the two most popular mediums studied in literature, and social media is mainly characterized as information sharing as well as relationship building. Two recommendations are suggested in ways to strengthen social media research: more various topics and application areas, and the rigor and diversity of research methods.
