치주염증에 대한 마치현 및 금전초 에탄올 추출물의 억제 효과 (Inhibitory Effects of Portulaca Oleracea Ethanol Extract and Glechoma Hederacea Ethanol Extract on the Periodontitis)

  • Both Portulaca oleracea (PO) and Glechoma hederacea (GH) have been used as traditional medicine due to the multiple pharmacological activities. However, the effects of PO and GH in the pathology of periodontitis is still elusive. In this study, we examined anti-microbial activity of PO ethanol extract (POEE) and GH ethanol extract (GHEE) in vitro, and physiological effects of POEE and GHEE on the cell inflammatory responses and the severity of periodontitis were determined using the rat periodontitis model. Our results indicate that POEE and GHEE had no effects on the proliferation of streptococcus mutans and on LPS-mediated inflammatory responses in gingival fibroblast cells. Notably, ingestion of POEE and GHEE resulted in attenuating the severity of periodontitis and population change of immune cells. These data suggests that PO and GH should be considered as candidates for relieving the severity of periondontitis.

개방화시대의 수산경제학의 과제 (The Problem of Fisheries Economics Arising from the Liberalization of korean Economy)

  • In this paper, fishery economics is reviewed to extend a basic opportunity for developing new fishery economics and to evaluate the effects of the import liberalization on the fish trade structure of Korea. The principle outline of extensions emphasis to realize the modern fishery problems based on fishery economics and develop the practical methodology in order to analyze the impacts of the import liberalization on the fishery and fishermen welfare. During the process of export - oriented industrilization, the role and position of fishery in the economy is changed dynamically. When faced with the imperative of the role and position of fishery in the economy, fishery economists and domestic policy makers must decide how to organize themselves for solving fishery problems under the new regime in the import liberalization on the fish trade. Fishery problems impacted by the new regime can not be solved by fishery itself but be solved by the centralized efforts of all contributors in national views. Therefore the new systematic analytical methodology must be develop and the traditional fishery economics must be related to the regional development strategy and fishery sociology as subsidiary theories specialized. Due to the impacts of the import liberalization on the fish trade structure, fishery economists face with radical changes in the domestic fishery : a place of the resources harvest to place of the combination resource harvest and its demand, a fishing as a resource exploitation to a fishing as a resource management, a traditional small scale costal fishing to a modernized and scaled fishing, fishery using the given natural resource itself to fishery as technology intensive industry, and a food supply industry to a welfare indusry based on the regional and economic resource and social environment. As these changes, fishery and its community's regional and economic resource and social environments as multiple roles of the regional economic development are emphasized in fishery economics under the new regime in the import liberalization on the fish trade. Furthermore, domestic policy makers and administrators in a public sector must realize the above radical changing trends in fishery and understand a social and economic environment in fishery and develop a new fishery structure focusing on the fishing system and the fishery laws. As this point, they make efforts to improve and develop fishery as a food supply industry. Japan, for example, has a non - governmental organization to conflict the problem of international fishery such as a movement of a civil environmental protection. Also fishermen in Japan already realized conservation and pollution problems in fishing as fundamental issues of human being.

어린이급식관리지원센터의 예산규모에 따른 유아 당류 영양교육 실태 및 요구도 (Current Status and Needs of Nutrition Education on Children's Sugars Intake Reduction according to the Budget of Center for Children's Foodservice Management)

  • This study investigated the current status and needs of nutrition education to help reduce children's sugars intake, according to the annual budget of the Center for Children's Foodservice Management (CCFM). Through an online survey conducted in October 2015, the 115 CCFMs participated in this survey and they were divided into the following three groups according to the annual project budget: 1~2 million won (${\leq}2M$; n=25), 3~4 million won (3~4 M; n=60), and 5 million and over won (${\geq}5M$; n=30). A total of 8.0% of the ${\leq}2M$ group respondents provided nutrition education on the sugars intake to young children as a main topic, which was significantly lower than those of the 3~4 M(16.7%) and ${\geq}5M$ (16.7%) groups (p<0.05). The most common reasons given for not delivering nutrition education on sugars were "insufficient nutrition education information and materials" for the ${\leq}2M$ (47.1%), and "more urgent nutrition education topics than that" for the 3~4 M (66.7%) and ${\geq}5M$ (50.0%). The percentage of nutrition education on children's sugars intake provided to their parents was low, showing about 8% in the ${\leq}2M$ group, 28.3% in the 3~4 M group and 23.3% in the ${\geq}5M$ group (p<0.05). However, more than 90% of the respondents answered providing nutrition education on sugars intake reduction to children was needed regardless of the annual project budget. The results indicate a great need for the development and dissemination of standardized educational programs about children's sugars intake in order to provide a leveled education program regardless of the project budget, and to solve the difficulties of development and operation of nutrition educational programs due to a lack of budget and human resources of CCFMs with less annual project budget to manage the projects.

일본 출신 결혼이주여성이 인지하는 자녀에 대한 민족사회화 수행 : 만 7-18세 자녀를 중심으로 (Perceived Enactment of Ethnic Socialization by Japanese Marriage Migrant Mothers of 7- to 18-Year-Old Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore ethnic socialization enacted by Japanese marriage migrant women currently raising 7- to 18-year-old children in Korea. To accomplish this goal, we examined the following research questions: (1) What is the level of ethnic socialization enacted by Japanese marriage migrant mothers? (2) Does the level of ethnic socialization vary by demographic and ethnocultural factors? (3) To what extent do demographic and ethnocultural factors influence the enactment of ethnic socialization by Japanese marriage migrant mothers? The sample consisted of 243 Japanese marriage migrant women currently raising 7- to 18-year-old children in Korea. For data analysis, T-test, correlation, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analyses were used. Also, we performed separate analyses for two subtypes of ethnic socialization in particular, namely cultural socialization and preparation for bias. Ethnocultural factors examined in this study were the level of discrimination experience, Japanese ethnic identity, and husbands' ethnic orientation in childrearing. The main results of this study were as follows. First, results showed that Japanese marriage migrant women enacted moderate levels of cultural socialization and preparation for bias. Second, Japanese marriage migrant women's cultural socialization and preparation for bias were both positively related to the levels of women's discrimination experience and Japanese ethnic identity. Also, the younger the age of the firstborn child, the more preparation for bias these women performed. In addition, women whose Korean husbands wanted to raise their children more biculturally performed more cultural socialization compared to those with Korean husbands who wanted to raise their children as Korean. Third, hierarchical regression analyses revealed that women's discrimination experience and ethnic identity positively predicted both types of ethnic socialization. Also, Korean husband's bicultural orientation towards childrearing predicted a higher level of cultural socialization by Japanese marriage migrant women. Results of this study provide basic information about ethnic socialization among multicultural families in Korea, which can be useful for promoting positive self-identity among multicultural children. Furthermore, the results suggest that husbands' support and cooperation in ethnic socialization can be crucial for marriage migrant women to socialize their children utilizing their cultural and experiential resources.

밤부산물(율피)의 주름개선 및 미백 효과 (The Anti-Wrinkle and Whitening Effect of Extracts of Castanea crenata Inner Shell)

  • 율피를 기능성 화장품 소재로 활용하기 위하여 주름개선, 미백 및 수렴효과를 검증하였다. 주름개선 효과를 검증하기 위하여 elastase 저해활성과 collagenase 저해활성을 측정하였다. Elastase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 율피 아세톤 추출물 100 ug/ml에서 51.0%의 효과를 나타내었으며, collagenase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 아세톤 및 에탄올 추출물이 50 ug/ml 에서 96.4%, 94.3%의 저해활성을 나타내었다. 미백효과를 확인하기 위하여 tyrosinase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 아세톤 및 에탄올 추출물이 열수 추출물보다 높은 Tyrosinase 저해활성을 나타내었으나 대조군으로 사용한 Vitamin C와 비교시 약 50%의 효과를 나타내었다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 보아 율피 추출물의 주름개선 효과가 높음을 확인할 수 있었고, 주름개선 기능성 화장품 소재로서의 가능성을 확인하였다.

일선 간호관리자를 위한 리더십 훈련 프로그램 개발 (A Study on the development of leadership training program for first-line nurse managers)

  • The health care environment becomes more competitive every day. It has fallen to nurse managers - from vice presidents of patient care to nurse managers and their assistants - to recruit and develop a workforce that successfully meets the needs of both patients and the organization. This means employees who demonstrate advanced critical thinking skills, creative problem solving, and sound decision making skills combined with clinical skills and patient advocacy. The environment which nurse managers create and the way they relate to their workforce, are pivotal to organizational viability. Especially leadership of first -line nurse managers contributes to the success of their organizations. First-line nurse managers are deserved to be one of the most administrative supervisors through the middle stratum in a hospital organization as being a manager in the field service if assessed from the overall aspects of hospital, as being an interim managers in the nursing department as well as being a supreme supervisor in a unit in terms of an organizational structure in the hospital. Similarly, as a compete leader, the first-line nurse managers have not only a professional which is qualified to perform a role of appropriate coordination with medical staff and key personnel but also hold an important key position a being responsible for performing his or her given role. The first-line nurse manager is expected to manage human and fiscal resources in ways not required before. While an identified need for well-prepared first-line nurse manager continues to plague the profession, first-line nurse managers often have difficulty providing the leadership required. The need leadership training to function effectively in their positions. But we hardly find a useful leadership training program for first-line nurse managers, therefore the purpose of this study was to developed the leadership training program for them. The steps of leadership program development were below: 1st step, 2 studies were done before develop a leadership program. One was done to ask to first-line nurse managers what they want to learn through leadership training, the other one was to ask the staff nurses what their opinions are for their first-line nurse managers leadership. 2nd step was searching other leadership programs contents. The results of this study were below: The total amount of hours is 24. Leadership training program contents are : Future of nursing profession (210min), understanding basic factor's of leadership and leadership theories(310 min), self understanding as first- line nurse managers(320 min), basic principle and practice of interpersonal relationship(210 min), assertiveness training, conflict management (180min), and group study(210min). This is challenging time to be a leader, especially in nursing. As nurse managers look toward the new millennium, it seems as through the same struggles are ahead that are behind. So nurse managers need to embrace change with a positive attitude. They need to demonstrate risk taking and support it in their staffs. All these things are possible that after they participate the leadership training program.

  • RGB 조건에서 하나의 픽셀은 255의 세제곱 개 이상의 색상을 표현할 수 있다. 현재까지의 컴퓨터 비전 연구는 조류에서 나타나는 다양한 깃털색 표현형에 대해 세밀히 분석하여 종을 구분하였지만, GWAS에 이용될 목적을 위해 다양하게 유전되는 색상을 단순화하지 못하였다고 판단된다. 본 연구는 연산오계(YO)와 백색레그혼(WL) 상호역교배 F2 집단을 이용하였으며 이미지 양자화를 통하여 이미지의 크기를 줄이고 저장을 용이하게 하였으며 깃털색의 원인 유전자 탐색을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 육안으로 결정하였던 다양한 깃털색을 단순화하였다. 특히, GWAS 연구에 필요한 수치화된 표현형을 제시하였다는 측면에서 가치가 있다고 판단된다.

일제 강점기 사설철도의 변화와 특징에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Status and Characteristics of a Private Railway During the Japanese Colonial Period)

  • 본 연구에서는 그간의 연구를 참고하여 연구가 미진한 부분인 조선에 있는 사설철도의 법과 제도 그리고 인력, 보조금의 변화와 함께 사설철도가 가지고 있는 특징을 분석하여 일제강점기의 사설철도의 성격을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 일제강점기의 조선의 사설철도의 특징은 조선 내에서의 사설철도는 조선 내에서의 간선철도를 보조하는 역할을 하는 국책사업성격의 사설철도의 역할이 컸다는 것이다. 변화과정을 보면 관련법의 개정에 의해 보조율이 증가하였고 일본의 철도정책에 따라 좌우되는 양상을 보였다. 조선의 사설철도 특징은 일본 본토 보다 보조금이 높았으며, 외부자본의존형의 자본조달과 사철종사 임원의 경우도 조선철도국 출신이 많았다. 수익은 국유철도보다 낮아 이는 보조금으로 보전하였다. 이러한 사실을 근거로 조선내의 사설철도는 국책사업과 연관성이 깊은 철도회사였다고 볼 수 있다. 조선 내의 사철회사는 지역의 산업과 연관이 깊었다. 사설철도의 노선 분포를 보면 거의 간선을 보조하는 노선 혹은 산업개발지역과 일치하고 있다. 아울러 사설철도의 성격상 다양한 부대사업을 운영하여 일본국내의 사철의 부대사업으로 수익을 창출하고 철도운영을 해 나가는 사설철도본래의 기능도 가지고 있는 이중적인 성격의 철도라고 할 수 있다.

연구개발(R&D)활동이 GDP에 미치는 영향 분석: 과학기술논문과 특허의 매개를 통하여 (Impact Analysis of R&D Activity on GDP through S&T Papers and Patents)

  • 기술경제이론에서는 연구개발을 통한 기술혁신이 경제성장의 핵심요소로 간주하고 있다. 본 연구는 사회학, 경영학에서 사용되고 있는 경로분석(path analysis)방법을 활용하여 연구개발 투입변수(GDP 대비 총 연구개발비 비중, 총 연구원수, 이공계 학사학위 비율)가 매개변수인 산출변수(과학기술논문수, 특허등록수)를 통해 경제적 성과변수인 GDP에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 연구개발 활동 변수 중 과학기술논문수(0.967), 총 연구원수(0.373), 총 연구개발비 비중(0.191), 특허등록수(0.049), 이공계 학사학위 비율(0.007) 순으로 GDP에 가장 큰 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 총 연구개발비 비중과 총 연구원수는 GDP에 직접효과보다 논문이나 특허를 매개로 하여 GDP에 미치는 간접효과가 더 크게 나타났다. 이는 연구개발비 규모나 GDP 대비 비중을 꾸준히 유지시킬 필요성과 고급인력양성의 중요성을 시사한다. 또한, 과학기술논문수는 GDP에 가장 큰 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타나, 연구개발로 창출된 새로운 지식 및 기술이 공유 확산됨으로써 새로운 성과와 가치로 이어진다는 것을 시사한다고 할 수 있다.

G 대학 대학생 핵심역량 설정에 관한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study on the Core Competencies of students: G university)

  • 본 연구는 대학생 핵심역량을 기초하여 학생들에게 다양한 교육기회를 제공하고 산업변화에 따른 산업인력 수요에 적합한 대학인력 양성이 가능하도록 대학생의 핵심역량을 설정하고자 시도되었다. 연구절차는 핵심역량에 대한 문헌고찰과 학생, 교수, 산업체, 학부모 대상의 핵심역량의 중요도에 대한 조사 및 전문가의 타당도를 통해 대학생 핵심역량을 설정하였다. 연구결과 문헌고찰을 통해 14개의 역량을 도출하였으며, 재학생, 졸업생, 교수 대상으로 중요도와 전문가 타당도를 통해 창의력, 문제해결능력, 자기주도능력의 종합적 문제해결역량, 전문지식보유능력, 정보처리능력, 기술활용능력의 산업체맞춤전문역량, 배려 섬김인성, 사회봉사의 실천 나눔역량, 의사소통능력의 의사소통역량, 자기관리능력, 대인관계능력, 리더십, 외국어 능력, 글로벌 역량의 글로컬 리더십의 최종 5대 핵심역량과 세부 14개 하위 역량이 설정되었다. 본 연구결과에 기초하여 교육과정 개발과 운영에 적용하여 대학생들의 역량을 증진시키고, 향후 역량측정도구 개발을 통해 역량증진 정도를 파악하는 것이 필요하다.
