  • For the development of surveillance Multi Sensor and IFOG, development of integrated surveillance camera for day and night time of its system Control Unit design and navigation device interlocking system was made. Control Unit analysis of integrated ship system began with selection of control unit related to feasible navigation device list.After sorting navigation equipment list, applications, features, connection methods, communication methods, data type of control unit and data direction between navigation equipments and the data types of each navigation equipment is sorted to observe its performance.

  • This paper introduces an integration of Product Data Management (PDM) and Software Configuration Management (SCM). PDM and SCM have supported development of mechanical products and software products respectively. The importance of software components in the current products increases rapidly since the software enables the products to satisfy various customer requirements efficiently. Therefore the current product development needs enhanced product data management that can control both the hardware and software data seamlessly. This paper proposes an extended product data model for integrating SCM into PDM. The extension enables PDM document management to support the version control for software development. It also enables engineers to control both the software and hardware parts as integrated data objects during product configuration and engineering change management. The proposed model is implemented by using a commercial Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and a development of a network based robot system is tested by the implemented product development environment.

  • The vehicle-mounted mine detection system with large detection sensor modules can search wide areas with a fast detection speed. To mount the heavy mine detectors on a manned or unmanned vehicle, it is necessary to design the detector driving mechanism and control system based on the considerations driven from the characteristic analysis and the operation requirements of the detection system. Furthermore, while operating the mine detector mounted on a mobile vehicle, it is significant to keep the height from the ground to sensors within a certain distance in order to get a qualified detection performance. As the mine detection sensor, we used ground penetrating radar widely used to geotechnical exploration, mine detection and etc. In this paper, we introduce a driving mechanism through analyzing the characteristics of the vehicle-mounted mine detection system. We also suggest a method to automatically control the distance between the ground and GPR by utilizing the GPR output values, used to detect mines at the same time.

  • This study is shown the result of the first year to develop an export 1050MPa-class lightweight ductile iron castings Austempered control arm through the research process to obtain the following results. First, the structure of the optimal design Layout design and development of the component, and then achieve them through the Control Arm rigidity and optimal structure design and robust design of the focus areas of the expected stress Control Arm. Second, to develop a Control Arm reflects the high rigidity and high performance lightweight structures. Control Arm them developed to meet the design and rigidity as required by the consumer through the hollow, and to develop a process for the Core. Third, through optimum alloy composition and heat treatment methods will be derived to derive the amount of iron alloy (Cu, Ni, Mo) and Austempered heat treated and tempered condition. Fourth, through the development of optimum molding technology development component to develop the optimum ADI for the low-stiffness, high-rigidity component development, it attempts to develop a high-strength casting forming technology..

  • The importance of interoperability between weapon systems is continuously increasing. Usually it is implemented by data exchange. The existence of information heterogeneities between systems decreases the efficiency and quality of the implementations enterprise-widely. Many other developed countries increase the efficiency and quality of the implementations by using information exchange model commonly. However, Korean military is still not aware of the importance and necessity of the model. This study explains the necessity of development and adaptation of the Korea command and control information exchange model(KC2IEM), and presents the methodology for the development of the model, and verifies and improves it through a prototype model development. The completion of the information exchange model could not be possible by academic research, therefore this study contributes as a motivation and a stepping stone for the following developments.

  • In this study, we research and develope Intelligent Remote management controller. According to the load condition, we will apply various control techniques and plan high efficient Demand control. After development, According to the Demand Control, An electricity enterprisers will expect enlargement of equipment coefficient, elevation of back up load factor and reduction effect of equipment investment. On Customer side, They will expect reduction of electric fee, saving energy and variety of service choice.

  • According to database and information technology development, many interests of database quality control have being increase. The purpose of database quality control is improvement quality of data itself as well as database system to satisfy user's need. As this paper was especially written about quality control of bibliographic database, to embody complete bibliographic database, it was invested numerous errors and its case by analyzing MARC records. In addition, it was presented that high degree's cataloging education, introduction of su n.0, pporting systems, and development of intelligent quality control system for quality improvement.

  • This paper presents a development of the Pulse Width Modulation ASIC for control of the AC servo or spindle motor in machine tools. The ASIC is designed two PWM functions for simultaneous control of a converter and an inverter. Also the device includes additionally two UART functions for interfacing the RS232C with PC or other devices. The device is connected to the microprocessor of Intel or Motorola by bus interface. The required output voltage and frequency for the motor control is programmed to the PWM block and the corresponding switching signals are calculated and generated with regard to the programmed value.

  • Welding processing is used in the various industrial fields such as shipbuilding, car, airplane and steel structure, etc.. But the welding process has a bad working condition and lack of skillful worker. The welding depended on man power causes low productivity and difficulty in keeping continuous and stable quality control. This paper shows the development results of welding mobile robot with the several functions such as continuous/intermittent welding, initial welding speed control, acceleration control, crater and deceleration speed control in welding end. The robot is developed based on microprocess which is intel 80c196kc.

  • A control system for crop cutting in Hot strip Mill is developed. The development system is composed of three sub-systems. one is crop shape system which captures the shapes of the strip's head and tail using the area CCD camera. Another is Laser Speed System which measures the speed and length of strip. and, the other is control system which controls the optimal cutting length and crop shear motor. As a result, with a developed system we can reduce crop loss considerably.
