The first known males of the spider Alloclubionoides ovatus (Paik, 1976) from Korea are described with detailed illustrations, spination of each leg and trichobothrium patterns. Males have a large conductor expanded curvedly 'p'-shaped with thin membrane of distal end surrounded the linear embolus and slender embolus penetrating tegulum.

In this paper, a new speed control scheme for induction motor drives that regular sampled PWM and harmonic elimination switching pattern over the full range of output speed is presented. The proposed scheme(hybrid scheme) provides three mode and guarantees smooth voltage boost. A detailed description of the scheme, along with the relalization aspect, is described. Moreover, methods of compensating for dead time and optical transmission system of drive signal are proposed and investigated. Finally, experimental investigation of hybrid scheme is presented.

In "Huangdineijing", detailed descriptions of the human physiology, pathology, causes of diseases, and symptoms can be found. The doctors who studied "Huangdineijing" interpreted "Huangdineijing" from many different points of view and such contents are being put to practical use even today. Some parts, however, are not translated clearly enough. Contents of the book of Fuqibing falls into this category. It cannot be explained why the description of Fuqibing is mentioned after Fuqibing. This study is an organization of the writer's opinion on Fuqibing.

Chordoid meningioma, an uncommon subtype of meningioma, occurs rarely in the spine. In this case report, the authors present a case of spinal chordoid meningioma in a young female patient, and include a detailed description of imaging findings and a literature review.

This paper defines a 3D full core neutronics benchmark which is based on the NuScale small modular reactor (SMR) concept. The paper provides a detailed description of the NuScale-like core, a list of expected outputs, and a reference solution to the benchmark exercises obtained with the Monte Carlo code Serpent. The benchmark was developed in the framework of the Euratom McSAFER project and can be used for verification of computational chains dedicated to 3D full-core neutronics simulations of water cooled SMRs. The paper is supplemented with a digital data set to ease the modeling process.

To date, no study has reported detailed morphological characteristics of Korean sea turtles. Due to the lack of such basic information on Korean sea turtles, further related studies have been difficult in South Korea. In this report, we determined the species and the sex of the one sea turtle caught from the Yellow Sea of Korea (Taean-gun, Chungcheongnamdo) on July 17, 2013, and described its detailed morphological characteristics. The sea turtle was identified as a loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) by the presence of an interprefrontal scale on the head. The turtle had three times longer length between the edge of anal scute to the anus than that between the anus to tip of the tail, and the size of a pair of claws on the flippers were distinctively different, suggesting that the turtle was a male. Finally, the assumption that the sea turtle might be sexually mature is based on its body weight (59.95 kg), the maximum straight length of the carapace (72.5 cm), and the worn serrated parts at the edge of supracaudal scutes. The loggerhead sea turtle described in this study is the first record from the Yellow Sea of Korea.

농업계 특성화고 동물자원과의 전공 교과 이수에 수학 지식이 크게 요구되지는 않지만, 수학의 몇 가지 기초 개념에 대한 이해와 숙달 여부는 전공 교과 이수에 적지 않은 영향을 미친다. 이 논문에서는 농업계 특성화고 동물자원과 전공 교과에 포함된 수학 관련 내용 및 이들 내용 이해에 필요한 수학 기초 개념을 분석하여 추출하고, 수학 기초 개념에 대한 학생들의 이해도를 분석한다. 그리고 수학 관련 내용의 제시 방식에 따른 학생 이해도와 선호도를 조사한다. 이를 통해 농업계 특성화고 동물자원과 학생들의 전공 교과목 학습 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다.

본 연구는 이용자의 온라인목록 검색 향상과 FRBR 저작 및 표현형을 구현하기 위해 내용과 용기로 자원유형을 기술하는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. KCR4, 통합KORMARC의 자원유형 리스트의 내용과 용기의 구분이 명확하지 않아 GMD 및 SMD 자원유형 기술 시 어려움을 주고 있다. 이를 위해 본고는 RDA와 ISBD(2010)의 자원유형리스트의 특징을 파악하고, KERIS 종합목록을 대상으로 비디오녹화자료, 녹음자료, 지도자료의 다양한 용어 사용과 기술 현황을 분석하였다. 분석결과 GMD, SMD 용어리스트에 일관성이 부족하였으며, 도서관에서는 내용유형과 용기 유형 용어를 자관에 맞게 혼합하여 적용하였다. 새로운 방안으로 자원의 내용유형 기술의 필요성, 내용유형 및 용기유형 용어의 정립, 디스플레이방식을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 앞으로 FRBR 개념모델을 구현할 수 있는 자원유형 기술에 새로운 방안을 마련할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to standardize ingredients used by school foodservices. This study analyzed the current notation of ingredients in used by used in school foodservices through the NEIS system employed by school foodservices of elementary schools through high schools in South Korea. Specifically, this study suggests systemized standardization of ingredient classification and quality attributes of at school foodservices by applying a case study analysis. The findings from the case analysis of the Electronic Procurement System operator are as follows. Classifications for ingredients of the NEIS system used by school food services consisted of included food group, food name, detailed food name, and description. Classification was not clearly divided between the classification scheme and the attribute system. Therefore, food group, food name, and product information of each food should be categorized as the classification scheme, whereas the detailed food name (excluding product information) and description should be standardized as the attribute system, which is composed of required attributes, recommended attributes, and other attributes. This study suggests that system standardization should be carried out in the field of school foodservices, as advancements between distributors and school food service providers could affect food ingredient quality. Thus, standardization can influence purchase and distribution in many ways.

It is very difficult to capture the multi-dimensional phenomena such as asymmetric flow and temperature distributions with the one-dimensional (1D) model, obviously, due to its inherent limitation. In order to overcome such a limitation of the 1D representation, many state-of-the-art system codes have equipped a three-dimensional (3D) component for multi-dimensional analysis capability. In this study, a standard multi-dimensional analysis model of APR1400 (Advanced Power Reactor 1400) has been developed using TRACE (TRAC/RELAP Advanced Computational Engine). The entire reactor pressure vessel (RPV) of APR1400 has been modeled using a single 3D component. The fuels in the reactor core have been described with detailed and coarse representations, respectively, to figure out the impact of the fuel description. Using both 3D RPV models, a comparative analysis has been performed postulating a double-ended guillotine break at a cold leg. Based on the results of comparative analysis, it is revealed that both models show no significant difference in general plant behavior and the model with coarse fuel model could be used for faster transient analysis without reactor kinetics coupling. The analysis indicates that the asymmetric temperature and flow distributions are captured during the transient, and such nonuniform distributions contribute to asymmetric quenching behaviors during blowdown and reflood phases. Such asymmetries are directly connected to the figure of merits in the LBLOCA analysis. Therefore, it is recommended to employ a multi-dimensional RPV model with a detailed fuel description for a realistic safety analysis with the consideration of the spatial configuration of the reactor core.
