This system is significantly favorable due to the following points: the expandibility and portability is outstanding compared with the existing signage system, establishment expenses may be reduced because the platform can be established in various configurations independently, maintenance and management, and the strong point of the system is that costs can be reduced due to the fact that the electric power can be controlled according to environmental situations. Various researches should be conducted simultaneously such as researches on automatic pattern recognition technologies which recognizes the sex, age, location among other data of the user and various methods of image processing for the production of contents to elaborate lively contents to provide diverse experience and enjoyable configurations for the future generation.
Humor is often considered as a positive phenomenon, and thus frequently employed as an impression management technique for individuals. However, humor may create unexpected outcomes in terms of impression management. This study investigates the relationship between humor and impression management of individuals within three South Korean organizations. A qualitative methodology is employed and data collected through participant observation and semi-structured interviews. Findings suggest that humor may be used more frequently by workers in superior positions, and it may be dangerous for individuals in subordinate positions to initiate humor, as negative impressions such as lack of professionalism and work competence may be crafter through humor. In particular, traditional Confucian values and expectations may lead to perceptions that humor is inappropriate and even rude when it is used by individuals in subordinate positions. However, humor may help to craft an independent identity, and help alter user's impressions as desired. This suggests that while perceptions towards humor as an impression management tool may embed significant risks, humor may help individuals to influence their impressions and diverge from a stereotypical expectations and impressions of workers(according to their hierarchical status), which may be interpreted in multiple ways. This implies that organizations should be careful in encouraging workers to use humor as an impression management tactic, as the relational outcomes may be complex, depending on the cultural understanding of hierarchy and relationships between communicators.

We have implemented a technique to correct the brightness, saturation, and contrast of an image according to the degree of light, and further compensate the backlight. Backlight compensation can be done automatically or manually. For manual backlight compensation, we have to select the region of interest (ROI). ROI can be selected by connecting the outline of the desired object. We make users select the region delicately with the new magnetic lasso tool. The previous lasso tool has a disadvantage that the start point and the end point must be connected. However, the proposed lasso tool has the advantage of selecting the region of interest without connecting the start point and the end point. We can automatically obtain various results of backlight compensation by adjusting the number of k-means clusters for texture extraction and the threshold value for binarization.
The first Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) onboard its Communication Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS) is scheduled for launch in 2008. GOCI includes the eight visible-to-near-infrared (NIR) bands, 0.5km pixel resolution, and a coverage region of 2500 ${\times}$ 2500km centered at 36N and 130E. GOCI has had the scope of its objectives broadened to understand the role of the oceans and ocean productivity in the climate system, biogeochemical variables, geological and biological response to physical dynamics and to detect and monitor toxic algal blooms of notable extension through observations of ocean color. The special feature with GOCI is that like MODIS, MERIS and GLI, it will include the band triplets 660-680-745 for the measurements of sun-induced chlorophyll-a fluorescence signal from the ocean. The GOCI will provide SeaWiFS quality observations with frequencies of image acquisition 8 times during daytime and 2 times during nighttime. With all the above features, GOCI is considered to be a remote sensing tool with great potential to contribute to better understanding of coastal oceanic ecosystem dynamics and processes by addressing environmental features in a multidisciplinary way. To achieve the objectives of the GOCI mission, we develop the GOCI Data Processing System (GDPS) which integrates all necessary basic and advanced techniques to process the GOCI data and deliver the desired biological and geophysical products to its user community. Several useful ocean parameters estimated by in-water and other optical algorithms included in the GDPS will be used for monitoring the ocean environment of Korea and neighbouring countries and input into the models for climate change prediction.

In recent days, the Non-Linear Editing is mainly used in the field of broadcasting. In comparison to conventional editing, Non-Linear Editing can immediately access the image of the desired position and facilitate the insertion and deletion of video frame. Furthermore, it directly apply a title and transition effect to video frame. Moreover, it has an advantage of preview and easy modification in title effect, transition and editing prior to export. However, students who learn Non-Linear Editing first time are not easy to learn it. In this paper, we propose a new learning model based on Reciprocal Peer Teaching (RPT), which helps NLE beginners to understand Non-Linear editing more clearly. We divide the students into two groups i.e. control group and experimental group. The control group students do not apply proposed method while experimental group performs evaluation over our model. Furthermore, we carry out the experiments, which include the overall average of the two groups, academic achievement of students with low grades, standard deviation, T-test and satisfaction surveys. The experimental group shows the superiority in performed experiments and higher satisfaction ratings than the control group.

Although the core of national competitiveness in the knowledge information society lies in IT, school education at the moment is failing to execute systematic and organized computer education. Recently, the 7th on-demand partial amendment of educational curriculum at national level is being executed in full-scale. Educational curriculum for elementary and middle class at national level is the systematic and organized program for cultivation of competent persons in order to foster the desired image of human kind for the future society pursued by the nation. For such reason, stabilization of program for cultivation of competent persons for establishment of true IT superpower is not irrelevant with the 7th amendment of the educational curriculum. Therefore, this thesis shall look into the 7th national level education curriculum at level of general outline as well as their particulars, and present means of amendment of computer subject educational curriculum through the means connecting the issues raised in general outline and their particulars regarding the direction of the amendment of the national level educational curriculum for establishment of true IT superpower.

This study suggests the new technique to express the texture that copes with the demands of the times by trying to apply the new Nuno-felt technique, to the silk, the representative material for emotion, in order to provide the basic data for the development of highly value added and competitive materials in the domestic and international markets as well as to meet the demand of consumers in the high emotion age pursuing the idiosyncrasy and qualify enhancement. Nuno-felt is the felting technique that places the wool of desired thickness on the thin fabric using wools and various kinds of fabric materials and rubs them. The samples are 3 kinds of silk including plain Chiffon with different touch, Pongee and Organza and Merino Wool, the best quality wool of wools. As a result, beyond the simple surface effect from the silk showing the superior drape feature with one color and soft wool, the Nuno-felt technique created the feminine as well as masculine, classic and modem image. Furthermore, the harmony of opacity and transparency produced the new dynamic and dimensional texture with the combination of different emotions through the visual emotion of different grey colors and rough, crude and soft touch. This study suggested the possibility that the Nuno-felt technique could create the new emotional materials for the modem sense by combining the materials with different features from the wools unlike the traditional simple felt technique.

Peplums have a great advantage in easy styling for wearers to acquire desired physical and reminiscent images depending on the type and where it is placed on the waist line. However, the study of peplum blouses has not yet recognized. This study suggests a baseline data for visual appraisals as a determined key factor is changes. The result of this study as follows: First, peplums published between 2012 through 2014 collections are used for decorative effects on tops or bottoms as the finest decoration details of fashioning women's physical attractiveness. Its application has been extended to various fashion themes such as belts and overskirt that are made of peplum itself. Second, peplums published between 2012 through 2014 collections have close correlation of how the position, shape, and length of peplums are attached on bottoms. Peplum effects are categorized as extension of tops, expansion of bottoms, connections of tops and bottoms, and separation of tops and bottoms. Third, total of seventy nine peplum blouses that are found in the domestic online shopping mall are analyzed. The total length of peplum blouses are generally produced to 56 to 61cm, which is little shorter than or approximately equal to the hip line of women aged in between twenty to twenty four. In addition, the most popular peplum design is made of flare and cutting lines on the waist line and is 45.56% of samples. The most common location of peplums is identified as 3 to 6 cm above the natural waist line or the natural waist line and is 78.47% of samples. Fourth, the key factor of peplum blouse that can significantly influence the visual image is the total length of blouse, position of peplum, and peplum shape.
In order to obtain desired arc welding performance, we already developed an arc welding robot system that enabled coordinated motions of dual arm robots. In this system one robot arm holds a welding target as a positioning device, and the other robot moves the welding torch. Concerning to such a dual arm robot system, the positioning accuracy of robots is one important problem, since nowadays conventional industrial robots unfortunately don't have enough absolute accuracy in position. In order to cope with this problem, our robot system employed teaching playback method, where absolute error are compensated by the operator's visual feedback. Due to this system, an ideal arc welding considering the posture of the welding target and the directions of the gravity has become possible. Another problem still remains, while we developed an original teaching method of the dual arm robots with coordinated motions. The problem is that manual teaching tasks are still tedious since they need fine movements with intensive attentions. Therefore, we developed a 3-dimensional vision guided robot control method for our welding robot system with coordinated motions. In this paper we show our 3-dimensional vision sensor to guide our arc welding robot system with coordinated motions. A sensing device is compactly designed and is mounted on the tip of the arc welding robot. The sensor detects the 3-dimensional shape of groove on the target work which needs to be weld. And the welding robot is controlled to trace the grooves with accuracy. The principle of the 3-dimensional measurement is depend on the slit-ray projection method. In order to realize a slit-ray projection method, two laser slit-ray projectors and one CCD TV camera are compactly mounted. Tactful image processing enabled 3-dimensional data processing without suffering from disturbance lights. The 3-dimensional information of the target groove is combined with the rough teaching data they are given by the operator in advance. Therefore, the teaching tasks are simplified

We propose an algorithm for extracting the boundary of a desired object with shape information obtained from sample images. Considering global shape obtained from sample images and edge orientation as well as edge magnitude, the Proposed method composed of two steps finds the boundary of an object. The first step is the approximate segmentation that extracts a rough boundary with a probability map and an edge map. And the second step is the detailed segmentation for finding more accurate boundary based on the SEEL (seed-point extraction and edge linking) algorithm. The experiment results using IR images show robustness to low-quality image and better performance than conventional segmentation methods.
