  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the philosophy behind the Kasaya and its evolution through its clothing material colour structure and sewing. According to the study the results were as follows. 1. The philosophy behind the dressing of the Kasaya can be found in the Therefore wearing the Kasaya symbolizes the Buddhist philosophy of Jat'ailshisongbul ("Simultaneous attaining of Buddhahood for Everyone") 2. The material symbolizes endurance and contentiment by being satisfied with any kind of clothes may they be good or bad. The material of the kasaya comes to signify the harmony among the monk's community 3. The Kasaya uses peculiar colours and the prohibits the use of the five primary and seconary colous. This is to symbolize equality wherein there is no distinction between the noble and the mean. 4. The structure of the Kasaya according the takes the form of a field The Jo is cut lengthwise and divided in nine grades following the Mahayana tradition as written in the This idea reflects the philosophy of salvation of the Pure land thought. The Je has many Jang('long') and fex Dan('short') The meaning of this is that all living beings by self-cultivation can overcome the dirty law of the secular world and follow the way of the sage who have attained their Buddha nature. 5. With respect to the sewing after finishin the sewing the Jang and the Dan are combined together representing the interdependence between the holy person and the common person. Therefore the sewing ssymbolizes the interconnection among all living beings as it arise from the "conditional causation" law. As I have shown above the philosophy behind of the Kasaya developed and was enriched as it cross over China from India to the Original Buddhist thought with which was created in India was added the richness of the Mahayana buddhist thought. As a result the Dasaya came to signify the "field image". The field-image symbolized by the kasaya came to signify the "heart-field" of all living beings. The "heart-field" by its cultivation is field with blessings. Therefore from the sanghati the Nine Grade the evolution and changes in the designs of the kasaya through the different periods of history became clearly an expression how it is possible for anybody to attend the Buddha nature. • The purpose of this paper draws out a theoretical frame for dwelling space from Heidegger's thought, "Dwelling" and analyze Luis Baraggan's housing design as an instance of the practical expression of them. The 'creative inculturation' of dwelling space is possible through familiarity by disclosuring in time and place. Heidegger suggests that place as existential space represents the occasion revelation of incidents in Dasein. He interprets the dwelling as creative openness in which elements comprising this world face and interact with each other into one. Openness may be referred to a dynamic coordination in which the each and the world sustain each other under incessant mutual tension, but not sticking each other. Creative inculturation is determined according to how deeper conversation was made internally. To complete the process properly requires determining several relationships involved in the land area.land area.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of 'Nomadic thought' in interior space through the understanding and interpretation of the contemporary nomadic life. The citizens in modern times lead a nomadic life on the move rather than settle down in place, and this pattern of life is going with increasing speed keeping in step with the development of the Internet. From this point of view, this theoretical investigation on the relationship between the interior architectural analysis and their applications through nomadic thought as a new paradigm is to establish the basis of interior design in the capacity of the main value system in our new generation and to explore the new notion of interior space

  • Among the architects who use diagrams as a digital design process, especially through Peter Eisenman and Ben van Berkel's works, we have specifically got the meaning of their diagrams. Their diagrams act as 'the block of becoming' and we can regard the diagrams not only as a tool of devenir including architect's root thoughts beyond a tool of schematic presentation, but also as architect's intention including devenir thought. And in the case of diagrams which the architects use, we can recognize that architects' intentions are to think that Deleuze's 'machine abstraite' evolve the diagram into various and transformed form. That is to say, Peter Eisenman interprets the machine abstraite as a root thought of devenir by using diagram as medium to reveal the virtual. And Ben van Berkel transforms the diagram by including all external conditions into selected diagram which shows the abstract relations to the elements. We can get the meaning of the machine abstraite from these cases well. This study will play an important role in giving good usage of the diagram in making a form of contemporary digital architecture and showing the direction of form creation field.

  • Much controversy has been generated over whether the ecological restoration project in Korea is faithful to the basic approach of ecological restoration compared to projects aimed at creating parks or green spaces. This study was aimed at understanding the level of awareness of practitioners in the planting design method, which is recognized as relatively important in landscape architecture and ecological restoration. The proficiency of practitioners in planting design techniques for ecological restoration projects was investigated and analyzed in seven areas: overall planting design awareness, plant species selection method, planting tree sizes, planting density, use of native species, vegetation climatic zone, soil environment, and weed control. There was no statistically significant difference between the group who thought they were experts in the field of ecological restoration and the group who thought they were experts in the field of parks and green spaces. Moreover, there was no statistically significant difference between the degree of work performance, that is, the group whose main industry was ecological restoration, the group that performed relatively more ecological restoration work, and the group that rarely performed it. Therefore, to apply desirable ecological restoration techniques in the future and to clearly differentiate between the approach in the field of parks and green spaces, the appropriate tree size or planting density selected in the ecological restoration planting design stage must be chosen. To this end, the awareness of expert groups must be improved and related laws, systems, and guidelines must be revised.

  • A contemporary design which might accept diversity through the coming materialised world and the development of communication of technology Quickly, would have no more new design value with such a design thought that is still fixed by general and principle rule. Because there are a lot of requirements of new relationship between humans who are going to have more sensitivity and things which are born continuously Even though Droog Design is a young design group, they have been recognised by the design community for their experimental approach and re-think not only as a function but also as a concept of existing things. Their thought is that humans have been given a better quality of life through design, and that there should be responsibility for abuse in the material world and has to do with the improvement of things related with human life. Particularly when dealing with form-giving they endow it not just as a tool but also as a sensitivity and experience with both human and human-made artifacts. Like A design mentality of Droog Design, which is extraordinary originality and methodological skills, is a stimulus on a contemporary design.

  • Korea's design developed closely related to economic growth and plays a key role in material growth, wealth growth, and consumption promotion today. Of course, it is true that Korea's design level has grown significantly, but it has not reached a trend-leading level. Behind this, it is thought that one of the reasons behind this is that most design companies are biased towards trend research and benchmarking from a supplier perspective, resulting in the creation of design sculptures. If you look at the examples that lead the world's design trends, you can see that their subjective thinking from the author's point of view accounts for a significant portion of design sculpture creation. Through an in-depth interview with designers and artists at both extremes of the spectrum of thought, I want to look at examples of self-expression design development and get implications for suggesting conceptual models of self-expression design sculpture. Through this, a conceptual model was proposed, which is organized into a five-step design creation process in which balanced thinking is achieved by combining the thinking system and process according to the writer's point of view with the majority of design creation dominated by supplier perspective.

  • Purpose - This study investigates the effects of thought suppression on depression and uneasiness among college students likely to be influenced by smart phone addiction. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 151 valid questionnaires were collected. The following analyses were conducted using SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 19.0: frequency, descriptive statistics, correlation, simple regression, and multiple regression. Results - Smart phone addiction increased uneasiness, depression, impulsiveness, and aggression. Moreover, uneasiness, depression, impulsiveness and aggression from smart phone addiction, had a negative influence on psychological wellbeing resulting in potential delinquent behavior. In addition, the addiction treatment relied heavily on drugs; therefore, such psychological treatment should be strengthened to control intermittent addiction. Conclusions - The results indicate that various kinds of research are needed to investigate personality and environmental factors that influence smart phone addiction. Additionally, studies on lessening smart phone addiction and living healthy lifestyles are needed. Moreover, psychological rehabilitation and treatment should be developed to lessen the rebound effect after thought suppression, to verify the effects of clinical application, and to prevent intermittent addiction.
