In accordance with the increasing of human engineering in modern industrial society, we must give thought to Colorergonomics. The reason is that color is a very important factor of the human engineering. And selecting the right colors in human working environment could bring many positive effects. This study tries to present a theoretical base for the color design in the plan of modern office especially through the analysis of the Model of Coloregonomics and the Color Cycleo of Human Engineering developed by the German colorist Axel Venn. As a main result of this study a man must be the focus of attention in the color design for the office.

In order to satisfy the requirements of cultivation of talents required by the new age, Chinese primary schools have carried out reform of quality education but are still in the elementary stage of reform such as educational management, teaching approaches and so on. On the contrary, the reform of school facilities which should adapt to the thought of quality education has been not carried out yet. Therefore, under such an circumstance, this paper makes an analysis of development process, current design situation and current distribution status of facilities of primary school sand the merger of primary schools due to decrease of birth rate and urbanization and its reasons and reveals the status quo of facilities of Chinese primary schools, expecting to provide reference for the future transformation and design of school facilities and recycle of abandoned schools.

Recently, the regulations from the government and the concerns of people give rise to the interest in exhaust and intake noise of passenger car as much as other vehicles. In these demands, performance prediction software was developed in the previous study. In this study, Robust design was used for improving the noise reduction capacity of intake system with the performance prediction software. On the basis of the existing design, length and radius of each component that was thought to effect to capacity of intake system was selected. At first factors are arranged by using $L_{18}$ table of orthogonal array and then optimum value can be obtained by $L_{16}$ table of orthogonal array.

In this paper, I introduce a simple design method using existing filter design method, such as Parks-McClecllan algorithm, for root-squared type raised cosine filter with equiripple characteristics, Thought some design examples, we show that the proposed filter has much better performance in ripple than the conventional SRCF at the expense of small increasing of ISI. In addition, the proposed filter is compatible with conventional SRCF. Finally, the filter for W-CDMA which uses RRC (Root Raised Cosine) with a=0.22 is designed in 12bit finite precision.

This paper is about automatic design of measuring master gears. Master gears are usually thought of as gears of extreme accuracy level, but are better defined as gages to check the meshing action of production gears. This is usually not recognized because most mechanical gages are associated with static measurements rather than having the form of machine elements used in a functional check involving machine motion. In this paper the interface that allows beginners to design easily and quickly is provided. The addition and modification of data is easy and the reduced design lead time is feasible with the program even though users don't know much about program since it is developed with Visual Lisp and DCL.

In designing and evaluating a new product, the company needs to give thought to the entire spectrum of produceability, usability, and ultimate reliability, as well as safety of users. For each design review(DR) stage, a formal, systematic, documented review and evaluation of a product design is conducted to assure that the product is safe and reliable, that costs and materials have been optimized, and that the design complies with its specifications and requirements. This paper presents how to improve development process for product's safety and reliability. The process requires gathering the appropriate information, determining the limits of the product, estimating risk associated with the task-hazard combinations, and reducing risk according to a prioritized procedure.

The railroad station building is a public facility that many people use. The disabled persons cannot move as freely as the ordinary persons do, so the facility shall be considered on this matter. We reviewed on the features of the retarded, visually handicapped and mentally retarded persons upon moving, and calculated the minimum space required in their move, access and use of the reachable space, and we also analyzed the design factors so that the prior guidance can be considered for the visually handicapped such as installation of guidance facility, change of finishing material and Braille points block handrail to avoid obstacles for the use of senses of touch, hearing and remained eyesight of the visually handicapped. In addition, we also analyzed the requests of general design totally to analyze and arrange the design factors with the thought that the facility for the handicapped shall be useful for the ordinary people as well as the handicapped.

This study investigated aesthetic characters of textile design on the modern fashion in 1990s. 1. Spiritual desolation caused by modern society of high-technology made people be interested in ethnic image. 2. It was expressed aesthetic beauty by application of various kinds of art for more new and creative designs. 3. Resistance against environmental pollution or ecosystem destruction caused by scientific technology and industrial development pursed ecology, so lots of natural patterns were used. 4. It was persued beauty of simplicity and visual angels by using geometrical graphism. 5. Self-consciousness or resistance of period was expressed by deconstructive symbol. Accordingly, textile design is expressed related to the trend of modern fashion, the current thought of the times, social phenomenon and art. So we need various analysis on above factors. Then, it will be helpful to develope the creative and distinguished fashion design.

This survey was carried out to clarify the consumers' behavior related the purchase and use of women's dress shoes. The subjects participated in this study were 386 Korean women. Their age were ranged from 18 to 86 years. The results of this study were as following; 1. The most popular women's dress shoe sizes were 235 and 240. 2. 82.6% of subjects had experienced uncomfortable fit when they wore dress shoes. 3. The subjects aged over 30 years preferred low heel shoes. They valued wearing comfort above fashion trend in shoe design consideration. 4. The subjects aged under 30 years gave more emphasis on fashion trend than comfort and fit when they purchase dress shoes. 5. Consumer's experience of unfit with dress shoes was different with age. The younger subjects complained improper bottom sole shape. The older subjects had experience of unfit with outshell design and material. The subjects aged over 60 years thought that their dress shoe design was too narrow at the toe and lack for flexiblity of shoe material.

e-revolution makes a lot of changes in the methodology all over the world. That is, the theory of real time showing helps people to access audio and visual wherever and whenever they are. In the pst computers were considered as only tools which could make us work easily. However, the meaning of computer is changing with e-revolution nowadays. Computers are not just computers as they were; they have done a lot of things which we thought impossible and they will do in the future as well. This new wave encourages people who are teaching the design to use computers whatever they do. For example, instead of using pencil and a drafting board, most people in the design field work with monitors, mouse and plotter. Therefore, most people who are in the design field need to have the ability of computer skills. They have to use computers not only in their class but also in their office. However, if we use computers for visual presenting in the class, it will not be enough to catch the e-revolution. That is, we should work with computers in the creative and conceptual design such as the using of the design information and the applying digital techniques in the early stage of the work. The purpose of this study is to show how to work with computers in the spacial design process especially th using of the DIS(Design Information System) and the applying digital techniques in the early stage of the work.
