여자수의 디자인에 대한 감성선호도 분석 (The Analysis of Sensibillity Preference of Women's Shroud Design)

  • Apart from keeping the body pleasant and protecting it from the environment, the purpose of clothing is to express one's sensibility, sense of belonging, status, and aesthetic sense. In the past, hanbok was also used to express status and class with the colors and the types and according to the times, the forms of hanbok has changed. Nowadays, people choose and wear hanbok that suits their tastes or purposes and various types of hanbok that considered pros and cons of it are now disseminated. Given this reality, traditional shrouds that are worn by the dead should also be designed newly to fit the modern trend. This research aims to analyze how people's sensibility preferences change on the traditional shrouds and the modern shrouds that are designed to fit the current trend. To see the change, this research analyzes sensibility preferences by using Semantic Differential Method on 4 modern shrouds that are used in preceding research and 1 traditional shroud. The survey was answered by total of 130 ordinary people in groups of 26 people in 5 groups who reside in Seoul and Kyungkhi province. As the result of the analysis, firstly, people preferred "high quality", "elegant", and "Korean" sensibility words for modern shrouds 1, 2, 3, and 4. Secondly, on traditional shroud, "uncomfortable", "neutral-elegant", "neutral-Korean", and "neutral-quality" that is closer to low quality sensibility words are preferred. Thirdly, "modest" and "extravagant" did not show any statistically significant difference. I hope this research can provide basic data that can be used to understand and comprehend on people's sensibility preference about shroud designs.

  • 식기는 사람들의 일상생활용품으로 매우 중요한 역할을 하며, 특히 유아용 식기는 사회적으로 더 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 유아용 식기의 사용자를 중심으로 사회적 배경과 결합하고 Q방법론을 적용하여 건강과 안전, 감각적 체험, 행위 유도, 정서적 인지의 네 가지 관점에서 유아용 식기 제품에 관한 평가와 연구를 진행하였다. 연구를 통해 중국 유아용 식기의 디자인에 관한 조사 대상자들의 수요를 네 가지 유형으로 나눌 수 있었다.이 외에도 인터뷰 과정에서 일부 조사 대상자들은 유아용 식기 디자인의 인체공학과 각 지역의 문화 차이도 주목해야 한다고 제기하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 중국 유아용 식기의 디자인 선호도를 평가하였고, 그 결과에 따라 본 연구의 타당성을 검증하였다.

아파트 마감방식 다양화를 위한 거주자의 실내디자인 태도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the User's Attitudes toward Interior Design in Apartment)

  • This study attempts to find out the users' attitudes regarding interior design(for finishing, moods, and elements of interior design) and suggests the attitude model of interior design for the apartments, For this purpose, a field survey has been carried out with 321 households living in the apartments in Pusan. The relationships between the residents' characteristics and their attitudes toward interior design were examined in view of developing more diverse interior design alternatives for the apartments. The major findings are as follows: 1. Most residents in the apartments are interested in making diversified dwelling units and want to have diverse interior design alternatives. 2. The users' attitudes regarding interior design are significantly different according to the function of each room(master bedroom, living room kitchen, and bath room) and the household characteristics(age of housewife. income, and family life-cycle). 3. The attitude models of interior design are suggested as 3 types(6 models)according to residents' housing area and income.These findings could be used as useful data for developing diverse design alternatives to correspond with users' preferences.

Design and optimization of steel trusses using genetic algorithms, parallel computing, and human-computer interaction

  • A hybrid structural design and optimization methodology that combines the strengths of genetic algorithms, local search techniques, and parallel computing is developed to evolve optimal truss systems in this research effort. The primary objective that is met in evolving near-optimal or optimal structural systems using this approach is the capability of satisfying user-defined design criteria while minimizing the computational time required. The application of genetic algorithms to the design and optimization of truss systems supports conceptual design by facilitating the exploration of new design alternatives. In addition, final shape optimization of the evolved designs is supported through the refinement of member sizes using local search techniques for further improvement. The use of the hybrid approach, therefore, enhances the overall process of structural design. Parallel computing is implemented to reduce the total computation time required to obtain near-optimal designs. The support of human-computer interaction during layout optimization and local optimization is also discussed since it assists in evolving optimal truss systems that better satisfy a user's design requirements and design preferences.

브랜드 아파트의 주동 입면 디자인에 대한 소비자들의 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preference of Consumers for facade Design with Brand Concepts in Apartments)

  • In the recent years, domestic construction companies have tried to differentiate their apartments using brand positioning. Respective construction companies are attracting public attention with discriminative brands. This study investigated residents' preferences focusing on apartments facade design used in marketing strategy of brand apartments. Four concepts in surveyed brand apartments are deluxe, modern, eco-friendly and comfortable. According to the related study on design factor of apartment facade, the design factors are chosen such as the overall building shape, balcony form, main color, exterior wall shape, material, main access shape, pent house design and window size. As a result of analysis, there was a difference between brand concepts and consumers' views. Therefore, apartment facade design to differentiate their own companies' brand images should consider the perception of customers.

공단 기업체의 근무복 디자인 개발 사례 연구 (The Case Study on Design Development of Working Uniform in the Industrial Complex)

  • The purpose of this case study was to design development of Working Uniform in 10 enterprises which were located in Changwon national industrial complex. The 10 enterprises were small-medium business in machinery. For finding actual conditions and preferences by employers, interview with employers was accomplished and their uniforms were collected. The uniforms were analyzed by Design elements ; shapes, colors, details. From the results, working uniforms were designed by each enterprise. The design was suggested CAD work sheets and send to each enterprise. After discussion and correction, design were made in fabric. Total 50 items(winter jacket and pants, spring & fall jacket and pants and summer T-shirts) were made by P/C, P/A and polyester coolon materials. The new designs have worn by the enterprises, now. This case study could be one of academic - industrial relationship cooperation.

  • The psychophysical magnitude estimation thechnique can provide a useful tool for determining the best design features of a product in terms of user preference, especially when it is difficult or almost impossible to obtain objective and quantitative data on the user performance. In this research, several interior design features of a high speed train such as arrangement of passenger seats, and availability of interior facilities were examined quantitatively to provide interior design recommendations for the high speed train. A train simulator was built to provide a realistic interior enviror enviroment of the high speed train, and individual design features were manipulated by using a three-factor within-subject experimental design. At the same time, a psychophysical scale of verbal descriptors ranging from "extremly like" to "extremly dislike" was developed to explain the magnitude estimates of the design features in ordinary language.n ordinary language.

금강 경관의 수면폭 변화에 따른 시각적 선호도 연구 (A study on the Visual Preference of Keum River Sceneries at Different Water Level)

  • 본 연구는 수량에 의한 수면폭의 변화로 인한 하천경관의 시각적 선호도에 미치는 선호요인을 파악하기 위하여 '주변 환경이 일정할 때 수량에 의한 수면폭은 어떠한 요인에 의해 선호되어지는가?'에 대한 연구의문에서 출발하여 금강경관의 수면폭에 미치는 선호요인을 구명하였다. 1) 수면폭 변화에 따른 금강경관의 시각적 선호요인 변수는 먼저 갑천의 경우 감정적 인자, 물리적 특성 인자, 심미성 인자, 개성적 인자 4개의 변수, 무주의 경우 감정적 인자, 물리적 특성 인자 2개 변수로서 모두 유의성이 있는 것으로 판명되었다. 모든 선호요인의 값이 증가함에 따라 시각적 선호의 값도 증가를 가져오곤 그 반대의 경우도 마찬가지였다. 2) 다중회귀모형에서 다른 조건이 불변일 경우, 갑천, 무주 모두 감정적 인자의 값이 증가할 때 전체적인 시각적 선호에 가장 크게 영향을 미치고, 다음으로 물리적 특성 인자가 두 번째로 영향을 미치는 것으로 판명되었다. 선호요인이 시각적 선호에 기여하는 상대적 중요도는 갑천의 경우 감정적인자, 물리적 특성 인자, 심미성 인자, 개성적 인자 순으로 나타났으며, 감정적 인자는 개성적 인자에 비해 4.3배만큼 중요도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 무주의 경우 감정적 인자, 물리적 특성 인자 순으로 나타났으며 감정적 인자는 물리적 특성 인자 비해 1.1배만큼 중요도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 두 장소 모두 감정적 인자가 가장 중요한 선호요인으로 판명되었다. 수면폭 변화에 따른 금강경관의 시각적 평가에 의한 요인분석 결과는 하천의 수면 폭 및 수량에 큰 영향을 미칠 것이다.

미혼 여성의 웨딩드레스 디자인에 대한 선호도 연구 - 울산과 서울을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Preference of Wedding Dress Design - Focused on Ulsan and Seoul -)

  • This study is to examine unmarried women's preferences about wedding dresses. This is researched with a survey of 300 unmarried women in Ulsan and Seoul. The survey inquires their preferences of silhouettes, necklines, materials, and details in wedding dress. 290 valid questionnaires are analyzed statistically. Statistical analysis is used average, frequency, and crosstabs with SPSS10.0. The results of this study are as below; As for an income level, the high-income brackets in Ulsan preferred X silhouette, whereas in Seoul H silhouette. The low-income brackets in both areas preferred X silhouette. In necklines, boat neckline was preferred in both areas regardless of incomes. In materials, in Ulsan, the high-income brackets preferred silk, but the low-income brackets in Ulsan preferred satin. In Seoul, silk was preferred regardless of incomes. In details, the high-income brackets in both areas preferred beads and ribbon. In the low-income brackets, embroidery decorations were preferred in Ulsan, whereas beads, jewels and ribbons in Seoul. As for personalities, X silhouette was preferred in most personalities, A silhouette in some personalities in Seoul. In necklines, boat neckline is preferred in most personalities. In materials, silk was preferred in most personalities. In details, beads and jewels were preferred in most personalities. As for ages, in most ages, X silhouette was preferred in Ulsan, and X and A silhouettes in Seoul. In necklines, in most ages, boat neckline was preferred in both areas. In materials, silk was preferred in most ages. In details, beads and jewels were preferred in most ages.

디자인요소와 감성언어 추출을 통한 디지털 카메라의 선호도와 구매도에 영향을 미치는 요소에 관한 연구 (Extraction of design elements and sensibility factors influencing on preference and purchase for digital cameras)

  • 본 연구에서는 특정 목적을 가진 디지털 카메라 제품들의 특성들을 파악하여 디자인 개발시 소비자 니즈를 분석하고 제품을 이해하는 기초 자료의 확보이며, 디자이너가 제품을 보다 쉽게 이해하고 디자인 개발 시 컨셉 설정에 도움이 되고자함이다. 본 연구를 위하여 2000년부터 현재까지 출시된 제품을 수집하여 동질성 분석을 실시하여 대표제품을 선정하여 제품에서 느껴지는 형용사와 선호도를 설문을 통해 추출하였다. 설문을 토대로 종속변수와 선호도에 대한 회기분석과 종속변수와 구매도에 대한 회기 분석을 통해 어떠한 요소들이 소비자가 선호하는 이미지인지를 기초 설문과 실험 대상 이미지 분석을 실시하였다. 실험 결과 디지털 카메라를 디자인 할 때에는 편리한, 감각적인, 기능적인, 품위 있는 의 요소를 고려하여야 한다. 또한 전체적인 형태에서는 그립을 강조한 형태와 그립이 있고 액정이 크고 칼라는 어둡고 매뉴얼 버튼이 있는 디지털 카메라를 선호하는 것으로 분석되었다.
