  • CAGD(Computer Aided Geometric Design) is a branch of applied mathematics concerned with algorithms for the design of smooth curves and surfaces and for their efficient mathematical representation. The representation is used for the computation of the curves and surfaces, as well as geometrical quantities of importance such as curvatures, intersection curves between two surfaces and offset surfaces. The $B\acute{e}zier$ curves, B-spline, rational $B\acute{e}zier$ curves and NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) are basically and widely used in CAGD. The definitions and properties of these curves are presented in this paper. And a brief history of study on the bound for derivative of rational curves in CAGD is also presented.

  • Access Control is one of essential branches to provide system's security. Depending on what standards we apply, in general, there are Role-based access control, History-based access control. The first is based on subject's role, The later is based on subject's history. In fact, RBAC has been implemented, we are using it by purchasing some orders through the internet. But, HBAC is so complex that there will occur some errors on the system. This is more and more when HBAC is used with other access controls. So HBAC's formalization and model which are general enough to encompass a range of policies in using more than one access control model within a given system are important. To simplify these, we design the mathematical model called non-access structure. This Non-access structure contains to historical access list. If it is given subjects and objects, we look into subject grouping and object relation, and then we design Non-access structure. Then we can determine the permission based on history without conflict.

  • Contradictions often occur between the process of urban modernization and protection of history and culture, which have become the topics of current studies. The development of a city has its past, present and future while history and culture have their continued process. Culture is the sediment of history, left among buildings and merged in life. Exerting a subtle influence on the construction of a city and behaviors of citizens, culture is very important to the urban construction and is also the soul of a city and its buildings. Culture is closely bound up with inhabitants' life and the key to protect well the cultural features is to protect well historical and cultural venues. Qushuiyuan Garden is a venue for local folklore activities. The programming holds that folklore, historical and humane sceneries should be protected and left to our coming generations.

  • Even in moderate to low seismic regions like Korean peninsular where wind loading usually governs the structural design of a tall building, the probable structural impact of the design basis earthquake or the maximum credible earthquake on the selected structural system should be considered at least in finalizing the design. In this study, by using response spectrum analysis and linear time history analysis method, seismic performance evaluation was conducted for wind-designed concentrically braced steel highrise buildings. Both spectrum-compatible artificial accelerograms and recorded accelerograms were used as input ground motions for the time history analysis. The analysis results showed that wind-designed concentrically braced steel highrise buildings possess significantly increased elastic seismic capacity due to the system overstrength resulting from the wind-serviceability criterion and the width-to-thickness ratio limits on steel members. Time history analysis results generally tended to underestimate the seismic response as compared to those of response spectrum analysis.

  • A manufacturing execution system in the process according to automation system of installation management has been growing interest about effective system design and effective system manage. In this paper, we propose an ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System based on RFID/USN for checkup monitoring and history management of installation in manufacturing execution systems. For this, we design and implement installation history and statistics management system based on RFID grafting RFID for efficient installation equipment history and statistics management of ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System, and was implemented checkup monitoring system based on USN using temperature sensor, humidity sensor, hydraulic pressure sensor for failure prevention of ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System. And proposed ubiquitous Manufacturing Execution System is implemented based on JSP for access through Web in real time.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to design a standardized questionnaire for patients with atopic dermatitis in oriental dermatology. Methods: We selected atopic dermatitis from the evaluation of students' satisfaction conducted by the Department of Oriental Dermatology, Dong-guk University College of Oriental Medicine in 2011. To design the questionnaire for atopic dermatitis, we made up descriptive materials consisting of history of the present illness, patient risk factors, past medical history, personal history, and physical examination. Results: Standardized patients (SP) were used in teaching and practicing interviewing and physical examination skills for students. The SP offers a readily available tool for teaching and evaluating the clinical performance and interpersonal skills of medical students. However, the SP program needs to be more thoroughly researched and developed. Research of pattern identification in atopic dermatitis is needed to design the questionnaire. Conclusions: Using an SP program is strongly recommended to teach and evaluate in oriental medicine clinical clerkships.

  • In this study, 5-story structures were designed in accordance with KBC2009 for inelastic time history analysis of RC IMRF. Bending moment-curvature relationship for beam and column was identified with fiber model and bending moment-rotation relationship for beam-column joint was calculated with simple and unified joint shear behavior model and moment equilibrium relationship for the joint. The hysteretic behavior was simulated with three-parameter model suggested in IDARC program. The analytical results showed that the inelastic shear behavior of the joint could be neglected in the structural design for seismic design category C but the structure of category D did not satisfy the criteria of FEMA 356 for collapse prevention performance level.
