유아 컴퓨터 교사를 위한 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구 (The Design of the Educational Computing Course for Early Childhood Teacher)

  • 본 연구는 유아교육 현장에서 컴퓨터 활동을 효과적으로 진행하기 위하여 유아의 발달적 적합성과 유아교육과정 상에 컴퓨터 활동의 통합을 고려한 교사교육과정을 개발하고자 한다. 유아 컴퓨터 교육을 위한 교사교육과정의 개발 절차는 선행 연구들을 고찰하여 유아 컴퓨터 교육의 실태와 요구도를 파악하고, 유아 컴퓨터 교육을 위한 교사교육에 대한 연구 내용들을 토대로 일차적인 교육과정 시안을 구상하였다. 다음으로 대전지역 병설유치원에 근무하는 유아교사 15명에게 내용타당도 검사를 거친 후 교육과정을 개발하였다. 그리하여 유아컴퓨터교육을 위한 교사교육의 최상위 목표아래 4개의 하위목표를 설정하고 각 목표를 충족시키는 4개의 영역과 관련 교육내용을 최종적으로 개발하였다. 본 연구는 직전교사교육과 현직교육에 다양하게 활용할 수 있으며, 현장에서 교사들이 수업에 컴퓨터를 통합적으로 사용할 수 있는 기술을 향상시키는 데에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

  • Emergent computing paradigms such as genetic algorithms have found increased use in problems in engineering design. These computational tools have been shown to be applicable in the solution of generically difficult design optimization problems characterized by nonconvexities in the design space and the presence of discrete and integer design variables. Another aspect of these computational paradigms that have been lumped under the bread subject category of soft computing, is the domain of artificial intelligence, knowledge-based expert system, and machine learning. The paper explores a machine learning paradigm referred to as teaming classifier systems to construct the high-quality global function approximations between the design variables and a response function for subsequent use in design optimization. A classifier system is a machine teaming system which learns syntactically simple string rules, called classifiers for guiding the system's performance in an arbitrary environment. The capability of a learning classifier system facilitates the adaptive selection of the optimal number of training data according to the noise and multimodality in the design space of interest. The present study used the polynomial based response surface as global function approximation tools and showed its effectiveness in the improvement on the approximation performance.

유전 알고리즘을 이용한 공력 형상 최적화 연구 (Study of Aerodynamic Design Optimization Using Genetic Algorithm)

  • Genetic Algorithm(GA) is applied to aerodynamic shape optimization and demonstrated its merits in global searching ability and the independency of differentiability. However, applications of GA are limited due to slow convergence rate, premature termination, and high computing costs. The present aerodynamic designs such as wing shape optimizations using GA have seldom been applied because of high computing costs. This paper has two objects; improvement of the efficiency of GA and application of GA into aerodynamic shape optimization for 2D and 3D wings. The study indicates that GA can be applied to aerodynamic design and its performance is comparable to traditional design methods.

  • In this paper, the electromechanical displacements of curved actuators such as THUNDER are calculated by finite element method to design the optimal configuration of curved actuators. To predict the pre-stress in the device due to the mismatch in coefficients of thermal expansion, the adhesive as well as metal and PZT ceramic is also numerically modeled by using hexahedral solid elements. Because the modeling of these thin layers causes the numbers of degree of freedom to increase, large-scale structural analyses are performed in a cluster system in this study. The curved shape and pre-stress in the actuator are obtained by the cured curvature analysis. The displacement under the piezoelectric force by an applied voltage is also calculated to compare the performance of curved actuator. The thickness of metal and adhesive, the number of metal layer are chosen as design factors.

  • In the present study, an interactive mode of the computing system has been developed for the hydraulic analysis of the circulating waters in the industrial pipings. The system consists of three separated modules, which are linked together with common graphical user interfaces. Application to the design of the cooling sea-water system for the ships was demonstrated to be very reliable and practical in support of design activities.

  • The concept of VDD(Virtual Design & Development) based on high performance computing technology is introduced. The whole process of design and development could be carried out in cyber space through VDD technology in which high-precision simulation technology is combined with virtual reality technology. Therefore, time for design and development of a new product can be shorten and quality of product can be also improved. However, efficient simulation technology must be developed and appropriate supercomputing system must be available to realize VDD technology. In this work, several technologies for obtaining cost-effective supercomputing systems for VDD technology are introduced and investigated. The detail informations about optimization technology for PC(Personal Computer) computing, clustering technology, Internet Supercomputing technology, and Piggyback technology are provided and numerical results are also presented.

일반화 경사처짐법에 의한 선체의 횡강도 해석 (Structural Analysis of Ship Structures by Generalized Slope Deflection Method)

  • 선체의 횡강도 해석을 하기 위해서는 유한요소법 등을 이용하는 것이 일반적이지만 설계 관점에서 볼 때 기존의 유한요소법을 이용하는 경우 작업 시간 및 계산 시간이 대단히 많이 소요되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 다양한 반복 설계 및 최적 설계를 수행하기 위해서는 막대한 계산 시간이 소요되는 유한요소법보다는 계산 시간이 빠르며 정도도 좋은 새로운 횡강도 해석 방법을 이용하는 것이 바람직하다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 우선 일차적으로 횡강도 해석 측면에서 기 개발한 일반화 경사처짐법 및 신 등가 곡선보 이론의 유용성을 확인하고자 유조선의 횡강도 해석을 수행하였으며, 기존의 방법과 계산 시간 및 정도를 비교하여 그 우수성을 입증하였다.

  • 치명적인 사고를 막기 위해 드라이버 졸음 (DD)를 검출하는 다양한 최근 방법이 제안되고있다. 본 논문은 운전자의 눈에 폐쇄 속도를 모니터링 할 수 있는 기능을 AdaBoost 기반 물체 검출 알고리즘에 적용한 DD 탐지 시스템 구현에서 하드웨어/소프트웨어 공동 설계 방법을 제안한다. 소프트웨어 구성 요소는 DD 검출 알고리즘 중에서 필요한 기능성을 완전하게 달성하기 위해 전체적인 제어 및 논리 연산을 구현한다. 반면, 본 연구에서는 DD 검출 알고리즘의 중요한 기능은 처리를 가속화하기 위해 맞춤형 하드웨어 구성 요소를 통해 가속된다. 하드웨어/소프트웨어 아키텍처는 비디오 도터 보드와 알테라 DE2 보드에 구현되었습니다. 제안 된 구현의 성능을 평가하고 몇 가지 최근의 작품을 벤치마킹했다.

ARCHITECTURAL ANALYSIS OF CONTEXT-AWARE SYSTEMS IN PERVASIVE COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

  • Context aware systems are those systems that are aware about the environment and perform productive functions automatically by reducing human computer interactions(HCI). In this paper, we present common architecture principles of context-aware systems to explain the important aspects of context aware systems. Our study focuses on identifying common concepts in pervasive computing approaches, which allows us to devise common architecture principles that may be shared by many systems. The principles consists of context sensing, context modeling, context reasoning, context processing, communication modelling and resource discovery. Such an architecture style can support high degree of reusability among systems and allows for design flexibility, extensibility and adaptability among components that are independent of each other. We also propose a new architecture based on broker-centric middleware and using ontology reasoning mechanism together with an effective behavior based context agent that would be suitable for the design of context-aware architectures in future systems. We have evaluated the proposed architecture based on the design principles and have done an analyses on the different elements in context aware computing based on the presented system.

  • In order to provide a tailored education for learners within the ubiquitous environment, it is critical to undertake an analysis of the learning activities of learners. For this purpose, SCORM (Sharable Contents Object Reference Model), IMS LD (Instructional Management System Learning Design) and other standards provide learning design support functions, such as, progress checks. However, in order to apply these types of standards, contents packaging is required, and due to the complicated standard dimensions, the facilitation level is lower than the work volume when developing the contents and this requires additional work when revision becomes necessary. In addition, since the learning results are managed by the server there is the problem of the OS being unable to save data when the network is cut off. In this study, a system is realized to manage the actions of learners through the event interception of a web-browser by using event hooking. Through this technique, all HTMLbased contents can be facilitated again without additional work and saving and analysis of learning results are available to improve the problems following the application of standards. Furthermore, the ubiquitous learning environment can be supported by tracking down learning results when the network is cut off.
