SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) has the ability to generate high resolution images regardless of a weather condition(e.g. visibility good or poor and day or night, etc.). SAR is considered as one of the most important powers and needs for the future since it has been utilized in a number of important military fields such as early warning, urban defense, missile guidance system, etc. Additionally there are many civilian demands and applications in aviation, traffic control, earth and space explorations, weather forecast etc. This days, the ability to acquire and analyze information is needed to cope with the urgency of global politics and international changes. In this paper, technical survey and development review for SAR systems are investigated to derive the core and immature technologies of domestic defense industry.

The main objective of research is to present research outcomes in relation to the development of small size housings for 1 to 2 person households that have been increasing at a rapid pace due to many socio-economic factors. The method of this research was used by questionnaires. The effective numbers of survey questionnaire was 215, and the survey analysis has been made by using of SPSS win 12.0. The conclusions drawn from the research can be summarized as follows: 1) 1 to 2 person households can be typified by nine key characteristics according to the questionnaire designed to explore lifestyles and demands for new housing types. The nine lifestyles include information seeking urban dwellers, well-being oriented, practical trend followers, urban culture lovers, brand lovers, active listeners, easy life seekers, self-centered, and heavy consumers. 2) Occupants may need less space than they anticipate when more user-friendly and space conscious products and services are implemented. 3) There is a great potential market for small size housings if more convenient features and services are provided.

Purpose This study aims to develop a job model for data convergent talents to meet the rapidly changing demands of the data industry. To create a job model, we first define and categorize data convergent talents with balanced competencies in data technology and domain knowledge, and then develop a job model by investigating job areas, scope, activities, and competencies. Design/methodology/approach The research is conducted using the following procedures and methodology. First, we conduct a current status survey on data talent demand, data talent policies, data talent programs, and curricula at home and abroad; second, we collect opinions on the jobs and competencies required for data convergent talents and curricula for talent development through in-depth interview with experts; and third, we present the job areas and job activities of data convergent talents derived from the previous status survey and expert opinions based on the National Competency Standards(NCS). Findings The research findings indicate that there are total of six job roles for data convergent talents, including data scientist, data planner, data architect, data developer, data engineer, and data analyst. It was observed that each of these roles requires the development of common competencies within their respective fields, followed by a need for further specialization into specific competencies within each professional domain.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the space planning of the Senior Center which was supplied recently in apartment complex, to activate the spaces suitable for the changes and needs of the elderly and to explore the complex functions as a community space where intergenerational exchanges are possible. In other words, we sought implications for the physical plan of the district as a community base space and searched for improvement plan. Methods: The survey was conducted by five large private sectors of construction, and 10 of them were built after 2010 in an urban area(Seoul). Literature review, data analysis, field survey and interview were used for the research method. Results: As a result, it was difficult to meet the demands of various elderly people in the space planning, program and operation mode at the current level. In particular, the Baby Boomer generation as an active silver generation will not use the Senior Center. Therefore, based on the results of the survey, we propose some of the following about the Senior Center in apartment complex. First, it is necessary to change the term "the Senior Center" as defined in Article 55-2 of the "Regulations on Housing Construction Standards, etc.". Second, the criteria for setting up the elderly complex space should be presented specifically. Third, it is necessary to secure financial resources in operation and management. Finally, it is necessary to support the residents' organization for community revitalization. Implication: Through the amendment of the laws, it will be possible for various generations to have opportunities to interact by activating the existing community spaces for seniors. It will also contribute to improving the community of apartment complexes.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to identify factors influencing communication satisfaction between geriatric caregivers and older adults in urban-rural complex communities. The ultimate goal was to design local community educational programs and policies to enhance communication satisfaction among geriatric caregivers and improve the quality of care services for older adults. Methods: To identify factors influencing communication satisfaction between elderly caregivers and older adults, a survey titled "CCEP: Assessment of Communication Status between Elderly Care Service Providers and Recipients" was conducted from February to July 2020, focusing on rural-urban complex areas. The survey was administered based on providers of elderly healthcare services. The survey targeted 131 respondents involved in providing care services for older adults. The dependent variable of this study was the communication satisfaction reported by elderly caregivers in their interactions with the elderly. The independent variables included perceptions of older adults, factors associated with communication difficulties, and communication efforts. Additionally, gender, working environment, working experience, and the proportion of face-to-face interactions with older adults during caregiving were controlled for the hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results: The analysis revealed that communication efforts with older adults significantly influenced communication satisfaction (β=.09, p<0.01). However, perceptions of the elderly and communication hindrance factors did not have a significant impact on communication satisfaction among geriatric caregivers. Conclusion: Effective communication between geriatric caregivers and older adults is crucial for identifying and meeting the needs and demands of caregiving services, and it plays a vital role in overall caregiving service satisfaction. To enhance communication skills and satisfaction among geriatric caregivers and ensure the appropriate fulfillment of elderly care needs in the local community, the development of community-centered, specialized health communication programs and other initiatives will be necessary in the future.

Background: As social distancing persists and interest in work-life balance grows, more companies are adopting flexible work policies. While there have been studies on sleep disorders associated with different types of work, such as shift work, research exploring the relationship between flexible work schedules and sleep disorders is still limited, particularly among Korean workers. Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of the 6th Korean Working Conditions Survey, focusing on 31,243 paid workers out of a total of 50,538 participants. We defined flexible workers as those who set their own working hours. Sleep disorders were divided into three categories: 'difficulty falling asleep,' 'frequent waking during sleep,' and 'waking up feeling exhausted and fatigued.' Using scores derived from three specific symptoms, the Minimal Insomnia Symptoms Scale (MISS) was calculated to assess the prevalence of insomnia. We used chi-square tests to analyze demographic and job-related differences. A multivariate logistic regression analysis was employed to identify any relationship between flexible work schedules and sleep disorders. Results: Significant differences were found between flexible and non-flexible workers regarding age, income level, education level, and job type. Flexible workers reported sleep-related symptoms significantly more often. The odds ratio for insomnia was 1.40 (95% CI 1.21-1.61). For males, the odds ratio was 1.68 (1.36-2.08). Conclusion: This study establishes a correlation between flexible work schedules and sleep disorders among Korean salaried workers. Potential causes could include changes in circadian rhythm, increased work demands, and extended working hours. To precisely determine causality and associated diseases, further research is required.

The purpose of this study is to identify the types of professional teaching practice of Home Economics teachers who are working at Korean secondary school for changing their professional teaching practice and developing home economics curriculum. A mail questionnaire, Professional Teaching Practice(PTP) was used to survey randomly selected 525 Home Economics teachers. The professional teaching practices examined were customary-instrumental, interactive and reflective practices. Customary-instrumental practice was the predominant type of professional teaching practice used by Home Economics teachers. About 26% of the teachers used reflective practice, and 14.67% used interactive practice. Only the number of students was significantly related to their professional teaching practices. Five influential factors on teaching practices identified by Home Economics teachers emerged in the following order: examination-centered educational system, lack of class hours, lack of resource materials and facilities, demands from the Ministry of Education, school administrators, or parents, and large class sizes.

The purpose of the study was to examine the determinants of financial well-being of the baby boomers. With data on 1,789 households from the 1998 Survey of Consumer Finances, the study provided a profile of baby boomers using demands, resources, financial attitudes, and financial practices. The descriptive statistics showed that 18% of the baby boomers were financially well off showing that they met the guidelines for two financial ratios: liquidity and solvency ratio. The results of logistic analysis on the measures of financial well-being revealed that financial management practices played an important role in predicting boomer's financial well-being. This suggested a positive approach of financial education to the baby boomers to help them manage their current finance well as well as prepare for their retirement.

As the rapidly changing e-business environment and development of IT, it is difficult to predict appropriate demand and supply of human resources in e-business industry. Such problem causes the imbalance of needs in demand and supply and the difficulty of proving useful information about fostering necessary e-business human resource and so forth. This study present a manpower training plan in e-business industry by investigating e-business human resource in the market and by analyzing curriculums in selected universities. To achieve this objective, we conducted a survey study of e-business companies, educational organizations and workers. From the results of this study, we present the current status of e-business human resource market and the problems of past manpower training system, and provide recommendations. This study would help policy makers, the private companies and academic institutions in developing effective strategies for the e-Biz human resource sector.

The capabilities of the metaverse have been demonstrated by representative examples such as Roblox, Fortnite, and Zepeto, and it can enable gaming, social networking services, and other applications. Nevertheless, research on the metaverse has been fragmented owing to conflicting definitions, core values, and characteristics. This ambiguity in metaverse conventions has hindered related research, analysis, and policy establishment. As the confusion seems to aggravate, consistent concepts should be established. Although the coronavirus disease pandemic led to a collapse in metaverse usage, it is regaining public interest since 2022. To promote the metaverse development, we structure core values based on existing research and surveys of consumer expectations. We found that consumers perceive the metaverse as a realistic virtual space and a potential economic opportunity. Hence, it seems necessary to track the extent to which the metaverse core values satisfy consumer demands. Such core values should be consistently reflected in policies and technology development.
