건설장비 안전사고 저감을 위한 위험성평가 (Risk Assessment for Reducing Safety Accidents caused by Construction Machinery)

  • Construction machinery has been utilized to carry out construction works effectively. Using construction machinery enables a builder to reduce the time and the cost needed for the construction, but the fatal accident caused by it has been increased. This study is intended to identify risk magnitude of accident by kind of construction machinery through interviews with experts. Construction machineries surveyed in this research are excavator, tower crane, lift, mobile crane and forklift, those are the machinery which accident occurs more often than the other machinery. To evaluate the risk of the accidents identified, risk category was determined according to the US DOD system safety program (MIL-STD-882B) considering the risk degree and intensity. As a result, accident occurred in the process of material transport & handling was found to be the most dangerous. On the other hand, the accidents caused by the defective machinery and the poor safety gear were considered to be less dangerous relatively. The risk category by type of construction machinery suggested in this study is expected to provide the basic data in developing the safety guidance for construction project.

영아의 기질과 어머니의 정서적 가용성 및 영아의 정서적 반응성과 참여 간의 관련성 (The Relationship between Infant Temperament, Maternal Emotional Availability, Infant Emotional Responsiveness and Involvement)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the variables of infant temperament, maternal emotional availability, infant emotional responsiveness and involvement. A total of 60 infants and their mothers participated in this study. Mother-infant dyads were observed and mothers then completed questionnaires. Data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson's correlations and hierarchical regressions. In terms of infant emotional responsiveness, maternal sensitivity and non-hostility, these were revealed to have had an effect on infant emotional responsiveness. Moreover, infants who have mothers who had the ability to read their infants' emotional signals accurately, responded in appropriate ways and interacted with affection, showed a higher level of responsiveness. In terms of infant emotional involvement, maternal structuring had an effect on infant emotional involvement. That is, infants who have mothers willing to support their infants through appropriate guidance and facilitate their interaction were more emotionally involved during the play sessions. In conclusion, maternal sensitivity, non-hostility and structuring were all related to infant emotional responsiveness and involvement, however, the degree of the effects of these variables differed.

  • Failure to thrive (FTT) is a term generally used to describe an infant or child whose current weight or rate of weight gains is significantly below that expected of similar children of the same age, sex and ethnicity. It usually describes infants in whom linear growth and head circumference are either not affected, or are affected to a lesser degree than weight. FTT is a common problem, usually recognized within the first 1-2 years of life, but may present at any time in childhood. Most cases of failure to thrive involve inadequate caloric intake caused by behavioral or psychosocial issues. The most important part of the outpatient evaluation is obtaining an accurate account of a child's eating habits and caloric intake. Routine laboratory testing rarely identifies a cause and is not generally recommended. FTT, its evaluation, and its therapeutic interventions are best approached by a multi-disciplinary team includes a nutritionist, a physical therapist, a psychologist and a gastroenterologist. Long term sequelae involving all areas of growth, behavior and development may be seen in children suffering from FTT. Early detection and early intervention by a multidisciplinary team will minimize its long term disadvantage. Appropriate nutritional counseling and anticipatory guidance at each well child visit may help prevent some cause of FTT.

일개 간호대학생의 학습유형과 자기주도적 학습 (Learning Style and Self-directed Learning of Nursing Students at One University)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the preferences for learning style and the degree of self-directed learning and influencing factors on it among nursing students working on a Bachelor of Science in a nursing program at Suwon. Methods: The study sample included 156 nursing students. A self-report questionnaire was used to assess the data. The data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN program for descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Most of the students preferred lectures rather than discussion or team projects as a teaching method. Students preferred deliberating, sensing, and the use of visuals for their learning style. In addition, they favored sequential learning over comprehensive learning. Self directed learning had better outcomes in 3rd and 4th year students than 1st or 2nd year students. Additionally, active learners and high achievers who had a good GPA showed higher self directed learning than the others. Conclusion: In order to maximize students' self-directed learning, study guidance will be necessary for freshmen and for some who experience difficulties in studying nursing courses. Nursing faculty members should pay close attention to facilitate student's self directed learning, and encourage more discussions in the classes.

EFL College Students' Perceptions toward the Use of Electronic Dictionaries

  • The purpose of this study is two-fold: first, to examine the current status of e-dictionary use in Korea and the attitude toward its use by Korean college students; second, to investigate to what degree e-dictionaries may be useful and effective tools in helping to improve learners' overall English skills. The subjects were 84 college students and they were divided into two groups: the experiment group and the control group. The instrument employed was the Preliminary Student Usage Questionnaire, which was developed by the researcher, together with the questionnaire survey developed by Koyama and Takeuchi (2004), which was modified for the study. The findings from this research are as follows: First, a special instruction session on how to use e-dictionaries made a statistically significant difference among users of the dictionaries. Those subjects who had received the instruction displayed a more positive attitude toward the use of e-dictionaries. Second, the experiment group showed a more favorable attitude toward the use of e-dictionaries. On the basis of the above results, the researcher suggests that proper guidance on the use of e-dictionaries and their benefits should have a positive influence on users. The findings from the current research will shed light on the current status of electronic dictionary use among Korean college students.

재킷 소재에 따른 Fitting용 머슬린 선정에 관한 연구 (A Guide to Select Muslin for Fitting)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a guidance to select proper muslin through investigating fabric characteristics. The structural and physical properties of muslin and top fabric samples were tested by KES-FB system and other testers. And in order to examine the relation between fabric characteristics and the shape of garments, wearing tests were done with jackets made of those samples. As a result, bending rigidity(B), bending hysteresis(2HB), shear stiffness(G), shear hysteresis at=0.5(2HG), shear hysteresis at=5(2HG5), stiffness, cloth count/5cm, weight, thickness were extracted as the key factors affecting the appearance of garments. To have similar appearance, all of these should be counted. After standardizing, we calculate the variance between top cloth and muslin. And from this we could get the range that the proper muslin should be included. The ranges were as follows: Bending rigidity(B): within 0.024g.$\textrm{cm}^2$/cm(0.3$\sigma$); Shear stiffness(G): within 2.21g/cm.degree(1.3$\sigma$) Weight: within 9.33mg/$\textrm{cm}^2$(18$\sigma$); Thickness: within 0.20mm(1.8$\sigma$)

스마트폰 기반 간편결제 서비스의 확산 가능성 평가 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Competency Assessment for Smart Phone Based Simple Payment)

  • 본 연구는 선행 연구 분석과 전문가 심층 인터뷰를 통해 스마트폰 기반 간편결제 서비스의 사용자 확산 정도를 결정하는 요인을 범용성, 보안성, 사용 편의성, 사용자 경제성, 가맹점 경제성으로 도출하였다. 또한 전문가 설문을 AHP 기법으로 분석한 결과, 각 요인별 중요도는 보안성, 범용성, 사용 편의성, 사용자 경제성, 가맹점 경제성 순으로 나타났다. 그러나 보안 관련 법규 준수 의무로 인해 보안성은 모델 간 평가 결과의 차이가 크지 않았고, 상대적으로 편차가 큰 범용성이 실질적으로 간편결제 서비스의 확산을 결정하는 요인임을 규명하였다. 또한 요인별 가중치를 주요 간편결제 서비스 모델인 MST, NFC, APP 카드에 적용한 결과, MST의 확산 가능성이 가장 높음을 확인하였다.

4년제 간호대학(과) 아동간호학 실습교육의 현황과 발전방향 (Evaluation of Clinical Practicum for Child Health Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of study was to describe and evaluate the educational status regarding clinical practicum for child health nursing to facilitate student's clinical compliance for the bachelor's degree in Korea. Methods: The study was a descriptive study and included data from 40 institutions among the 53 university nursing programs in Korea(75.5% response rate). Data were collected using mailed semi structured questionnaires and content analysis was done. Results: Findings show that most institutions have common learning objectives for the clinical practicum; neonatal care, high risk infant care, hospitalized child care, and advanced nursing practice. The mode for theoretical credits in child health nursing was 5 to 6 and 3 to 4 credits for clinical practice. The practice settings were prepared to provide diverse experiences, including childcare centers, and community centers with various learning activities. Evaluation for learning outcomes included faculty and instructors. It was pointed out that updating evaluation based on student and faculty feedback is important for a comprehensive practicum evaluation. Conclusions: Findings suggest that there is a -need for a generalized curriculum for clinical practicum and for the expanding role of advanced nursing practice-, a need for diverse clinical settings for practice, and effective guidance and learning activities. It is significantly noted that the attitude and teaching methodologies of clinical instructor's are highly important to effective clinical learning outcomes.

Investigating the reassessment opportunity for prospective teachers within their initial required content course

  • In K-12 education, reassessment is a common practice, providing students with opportunities to enhance their understanding through low-stakes assignments. However, reassessment is underutilized in higher education, including during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our study advocates for expanding the use of reassessment in university settings to promote holistic learning and focus on what shifts of change were made by students in an initial mathematics content course as they sought to gain licensure for teaching in a birth (daycare/pre-K setting) to eighth-grade classrooms. Our study took place during COVID-19 semesters and aimed to examine how using a reassessment approach early on in a gateway course for Prospective Teachers (PTs) affected the pass rate of the course. Results showed significant differences between the PTs who engaged with the test recovery and those who did not. We propose recovery opportunities like ours provide the necessary guidance to support early degree necessary classes that are typically gatekeeping and, as another, likely cause too few students within the courses because they were able to advance into the teacher pipeline and out into the field. Future studies may consider how the reassessment could be done more before the official summative assessment of a unit or chapter to continue the shifts in teaching practices and pedagogy that are constant within the K-12 education systems at the university level.

  • KSLV-I 발사체에 탑재되는 원격측정시스템, 추적시스템, 비행종단시템, GPS, 관성항법유도시스템의 개별적인 성능과 고홍우주센터 및 제주추적 소에 설치된 지상장비와의 연계성능을 확인하기 위하여 항공기를 이용한 비행시험이 요구된다. 시험에 적용할 탑재장비의 선정, 하니스, 운용방법, 안테나 부착방법 등의 면밀한 계획과 분석을 통해 시험의 효율성이 향상되기 때문에 KSLV-I의 통신환경과 비행프로파일 둥이 비행시험에 최대한 정확하게 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 KSLV-I 전자탑재장비의 목록과 규격, 비행시험용 랙과 하니스, 항공기 제원, 비행궤적 둥 효과적인 비행시험을 위해 준비 및 분석되어야 하는 전반적인 사항이 제시된다.
