A Study on Data Model Conversion Method for the Application of Autonomous Driving of Various Kinds of HD Map (다양한 정밀도로지도의 자율주행 적용을 위한 데이터 모델 변환 방안 연구)

  • Recently, there has been much interest in practical use of standardized HD map that can effectively define roads, lanes, junctions, road signs, and road facilities in autonomous driving. Various kinds of de jure or de facto standards such as ISO 22726-1, ISO 14296, HERE HD Live map, NDS open lane model, OpenDRIVE, and NGII HD map are currently being used. However, there are lots of differences in data modeling among these standards, it makes difficult to use them together in autonomous driving. Therefore, we propose a data model conversion method to enable an efficient use of various kinds of HD map standards in autonomous driving in this study. Specifically, we propose a conversion method between the NGII HD map model, which is easily accessible in the country, and the OpenDRIVE model, which is commonly used in the autonomous driving industry. The proposed method consists of simple conversion of NGII HD map layers into OpenDRIVE objects, new OpenDRIVE objects creation corresponding to NGII HD map layers, and linear transformation of NGII HD map layers for OpenDRIVE objects creation. Finally, we converted some test data of NGII HD map into OpenDRIVE objects, and checked the conversion results through Carla simulator. We expect that the proposed method will greatly contribute to improving the use of NGII HD map in autonomous driving.

The New Understanding of Korean Medicine Practice in Korean Medicine Doctor's Medical Devices Using and Duty of Care (한의사의 의료기기 사용과 주의의무에 있어서 한방의료행위의 새로운 이해)

  • Objectives : Korean medicine practice is not specifically described in medical law, and then has always been a quarrel. So far The criteria for judgment in Korean Medicine Doctor's Medical Devices Using should clinically prove it only by Korean medicine theory and academic Traditionally descending from old ancestors. Comprehensively review of Korean Medicine Doctor's Medical Devices Using and Duty of Care, and then present a new understandings to determine future Korean Medicine Practice. Method : An existing court cases of Korean Medicine Doctor's Medical Devices Using and Duty of Care were reviewed. After reviewing various papers published for several years, various opinions were reviewed and suggested. Results : The range of Korean Medicine Doctor's Medical Devices Using has changed since the 1951 National Medical Law stipulated Korean medicine as medical professionals. The issue of the recent ruling that distinguishes medical practice from Korean medicine practice were condensed into what emphasis to interpret amongst 1) The basic principles of learning, 2) Curriculum and professionalism, 3) Risks. The Constitutional Court's ruling was important in order of 'Risk', 'curriculum and expertise', and 'basic principles of learning.' A duty of Care means an obligation to pay attention to something. A duty of Care does not mean a "highest level," but requires a "best care" and does "best under given conditions." Even in the duty of Care, Because Korean medicine has a purpose to protect and promote the health of the people, Some standards of western medicine have to be adapted to the current general medical technology. Korean Medicine doctors can recognize the duty of care in the "some basic range" of knowledge belonging to western medicine. Conclusions : The interpretation of Korean Medicine practice are currently in compatible the argument that should clearly divide Korean medicine from Western medicine, and that should be changed in light of the changing medical environment. Therefore If Korean medicine's standard is applied to the extent to which Korean Medicine doctors are educated, it is necessary to define a new definition to actively interpret Korean Medical practice. The academic basis of Korean medicine and the level of Korean medicine practice based on the books that are traditionally available, and then current textbooks of Korean Medicine College, Korean Medicine Clinical Care Guidelines, and classification of Korean standard medical practices should be standardized. Increasingly, Korean Medicine practice should be interpreted according to reality, focusing on protecting and promoting the health of the people rather than academic differences.

Using Requirements Engineering to support Non-Functional Requirements Elicitation for DAQ System

  • In recent machine learning studies, in order to consider the quality and completeness of data, derivation of non-functional requirements for data has been proposed from the viewpoint of requirements engineering. In particular, requirements engineers have defined data requirements in machine learning. In this study, data requirements were derived at the data acquisition (DAQ) stage, where data is collected and stored before data preprocessing. Through this, it is possible to express the requirements of all data required in the existing DAQ system, the presence of tasks (functions) satisfying them, and the relationship between the requirements and functions. In addition, it is possible to elicit requirements and to define the relationship, so that a software design document can be produced, and a systematic approach and direction can be established in terms of software design and maintenance. This research using existing DAQ system cases, scenarios and use cases for requirements engineering approach are created, and data requirements for each case are extracted based on them, and the relationship between requirements, functions, and goals is illustrated through goal modeling. Through the research results, it was possible to extract the non-functional requirements of the system, especially the data requirements, from the DAQ system using requirements engineering.

A Study on the Current Status and Challenge of Core Project in Urban Regeneration -Focused on the Type of Central Commercial District- (도시재생사업에서 핵심사업의 추진 현황과 과제 -중심시가지형 사업 추진 사례를 중심으로-)

  • In urban regeneration projects, the core projects define the characteristics of the project site and contribute to the highest project cost and drive the project forward. The purpose of this study was to identify the current status and characteristics of the project as a priming project for urban regeneration and to seek desirable alternatives in the future project process. For this purpose, the case of urban regeneration projects in the Chungcheong region was targeted. The results showed that the core projects for each case consisted mainly of projects to develop physical facilities on a relatively large scale. Securing large-scale complex base space and constructing public parking lots are planned as key projects. In addition, based on the cost composition of the priming project, the core project accounted for approximately 80 % of the total project, and the project cost between linked projects does not appear to be relatively well linked in both public and private investment sectors. These findings are expected to help promote substantial urban regeneration projects and enhance efficiency by using them as basic data for urban regeneration projects in the future.

  • Citizen participation and Living Lab are attracting interest as one of the major strategies for the success of smart cities. In a Living Lab, citizens, who are the end-users of technology, participate in the search for alternatives to define and solve problems and repeat experiments to verify alternatives in a circular process. The purpose of this research was to present an operating model of a citizen-participating online community platform to improve urban problems, implement and test it, and show its applicability. To this end, an operation model of a citizen-participating online community platform was proposed to improve urban problems. An online platform was designed and implemented to reflect the functions pursued by the operation model. Finally, a pilot test for the function was performed using the Oma Elementary School case located in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The operating model was designed with the city's pedestrian environment and children. As a result, the sharing and communicating process of urban issues among community members worked appropriately according to the designed intention. The Living Lab coordinator could visualize and view urban issues posted by users on a map based on location information. Visualizing the urban problem as a heat map confirmed that urban problems were concentrated in a specific area.

Ensemble Deep Network for Dense Vehicle Detection in Large Image

  • This paper has proposed an algorithm that detecting for dense small vehicle in large image efficiently. It is consisted of two Ensemble Deep-Learning Network algorithms based on Coarse to Fine method. The system can detect vehicle exactly on selected sub image. In the Coarse step, it can make Voting Space using the result of various Deep-Learning Network individually. To select sub-region, it makes Voting Map by to combine each Voting Space. In the Fine step, the sub-region selected in the Coarse step is transferred to final Deep-Learning Network. The sub-region can be defined by using dynamic windows. In this paper, pre-defined mapping table has used to define dynamic windows for perspective road image. Identity judgment of vehicle moving on each sub-region is determined by closest center point of bottom of the detected vehicle's box information. And it is tracked by vehicle's box information on the continuous images. The proposed algorithm has evaluated for performance of detection and cost in real time using day and night images captured by CCTV on the road.

A Study on the Defined and Realized Attributes of SMART Education (스마트교육의 속성과 구현 실태에 관한 연구)

  • Since the development of Smart technology and the advent of various Smart media, a learning environment for individual learners and the school has been changing. In the stream of changing learning environments, in 2011, the government announced SMART education strategies, introducing the term officially, "SMART education." With the governments' efforts to develop and implement SMART education in school, many policies has been enacted and many research has been conducted and increased gradually. However, as policies of SMART education have initiated in situation where there is no clear understanding in regard of SMART education, many researchers and teachers confused of SMART education and its identity and attributes, even though it has been 6 years since the concept was introduced. Unfortunately, SMART education has been implemented as one type of instructional methodology as utilizing Smart technology. Thus, in this research, we tried to build theoretical foundation of SMART education through analyzing former research on SMART education to define the attributes of SMART education. To examine how SMART education has been implemented in terms of its attributes, also, we analyzed research that conducted instructional design and implementation on SMART education in actual learning environments. As the results of former research analysis, the attributes of SMART education include Information and Communication Technology, open learning environment, self-directed learning, customized learning, and social learning. In majority of research, SMART education focused on utilizing Smart technology and media in teaching and learning environments but self-directed, and customized learning were less adapted in SMART learning environments. In the following research, how to improve educational benefits of SMART education through adapting original attributes of SMART education need to be examined.

How Populist are South Korean Voters? Antecedents and Consequences of Individual-level Populism (한국 유권자의 포퓰리즘 성향이 정치행태에 미치는 영향)

  • The recent success of populist parties and candidates in the US and European countries leads to a massive amount of empirical research on populism, a deviant form of representative democracy. Much ink has been spilled to define populism and to identify the causes of its rise and continued success in democratic political system. However, little is known about populist attitudes of individual voters. Using a large-scale online survey fielded in the context of the South Korean presidential election in 2017, this study examines (1) what determines populist attitudes of South Korean voters and (2) how populist attitudes are associated with evaluations of political parties, candidates, and political issues. Statistical analysis reveals that people high on populism are more likely to support an underdog left-wing political party and its presidential candidate, and are less likely to support policies implemented or proposed under the auspices of the Park Geun-hye administration. These findings do not necessarily suggest the inherent affinity between populism and left-wing ideology; rather, it implies populist attitudes happened to appear in 2017, in reactions to lack of confidence in the previous government.

A study on 'Life-giving function' of Dance as a performing arts (공연예술로서 무용의 '생명적 기능'에 관한 연구)

  • This study says that giving a life through the mixed power of motions which can not be fixed. It is a fundamental activity of the art of dance. In the fact, the art of dance is defined as the most instinctive and intuitive arts show that dance is a harmony of emotion on the body, thus, this view wants to discuss the relations between "sense and body". This view doesn't focus on the mere motions of dancing form, but characterizes dance as an art of another vitality through the mixture and combination of these motions. In other words, this study emphasizes that dance transcends time and space on stages, and that dance, as an expression of identity, is an art which shows a sense from inside of human. Therefore, when we want to understand the true meaning of the art of dance, we should attend what attributes of dance define it as an art and show its creative. This study, thus, seeing those attributes as the life-giving function of dance, aims to help understand the principle meaning of the art of dance that realizes creation as well as the attitudes of audience who appreciate the art of dance. And by doing so, this study contemplates how we should see the creative idea of choreography, forming sympathy and the art of dance.

The study of monistic mind-nature theory of Nog-Moon Yim Seong-Joo (녹문 임성주의 일원적(一原的) 심성론(心性論) 연구)

  • Nog-Moon Yim Seong-Joo(녹문 임성주) is a philosopher of late Choseon Dynasty of the 18th Century. He concluded that the debates between the school of Ho and that of Rack originated from the seclusion of Li(理) and Ki(氣), and theorized the new Li and Ki theory according to his own perspective. The prime point of Nog-Moon's Philosophy is said to be Li-Ki dongshil(理氣同實), Mind and Nature ilchi(心性一致) ; he proves his prime potints based on his pure and clean Ki substance. Thus Li-Ki is reduced to monism from dualism, and Mind-Nature(心 性) is reduced to mind. Since the basis of the existence of Mind is Ki(氣), Nog-moon's theory of Substance is concluded to be Ki-monism. Nog-Moon presents his great philosophy of Ki monism suggested by Jeong Myeong-Do's monistic methodology; he explains the universality of Substance and the diversity of Phenomenon with the logical structure of ilwonbunsu(一原分殊). The characteristics of Nog-Moon's philosophy is that ilwon(一原) and bunsu(分殊) are bonnyeon(本然) identical, which means Substance and Function(體用) are identical, or bonmalilchi(本末一致). It means Mind and Nature are bonnyeon(本然) identical, Ki and Mind and Nature are identical. With the expression of seongrihak (性理學) Gijil(氣質) is not different from bonnyeon(本然). Therefore 1 define the philosophy of Nog-Moon had been built on the context of a sage.
