An existing plasticity model using multiple failure criteria is modified to describe the behavior of reinforced concrete planar members under cyclic load. Multiple failure criteria are used to define both isotropic damage of compressive crushing and anisotropic damage of tensile cracking. A numerical method is developed to define multi-directional and non-orthogonal crack directions. The material model is implemented in the finite element analysis and verified by comparison with existing experiments of reinforced concrete shear wall.

The goal of this paper is to develop a system which provides infotainment services for the healthy life of the elderly. First, we define the infotainment services for the elderly, and then determine the infotainment contents and categories related to the infotainment service. In order to provide the infotainment service, we define several modules as follow: user representation, contents generation, contents personalization, provision and learning manager. Finally we develop a pilot system which is based on the proposed framework.

The Kantian idea that some judgments are synthetic even in the area of a priori judgments cannot be accepted in its original version, but a modification of the notions 'analytic' and 'synthetic' discovers a rational core of that idea. The new definition of 'analytic' concerns concepts and makes it possible to distinguish between analytic concepts, which are effective ways of computing recursive functions, and synthetic concepts, which either define non-recursive functions, or define recursive functions in an ineffective way. To justify this claim we have to construe concepts as abstract procedures not reducible to set-theoretical entities.

We define a stratification and a partition of a finite topological space and define a partial order on the partition. Open subsets can be described completely in terms of this partially ordered partition. We associate a directed graph to the partially ordered partition of a finite topological space. This gives a one-to-one correspondence between finite topological spaces and a certain class of directed graphs.

In this Paper we consider non-deterministic finite Rabin-Scott's automata. We define special abstract objects, being pairs of values of states-marking functions. On the basis of these objects as the states of automaton, we define its edges; the obtained structure is considered also as a non-deterministic automaton. We prove, that any edge of any non-deterministic automaton defining the given regular language can be obtained by such techniques. Such structure can be used for solving various problems in the frames of finite automata theory.

The purpose of this note is to study the relation between Heyting algebra and t-algebra which is the dual concept of BCK-algebra. We define t-algebra with binary operation ${\rhd}$ which is a generalization of the implication in the Heyting algebra, and define a bounded ness and commutativity of it, and then characterize a Heyting algebra and a Boolean algebra as a bounded commutative t-algebra X satisfying $x=(x{\rhd}y){\rhd}x$ for all $x,y{\in}X$.

In this paper, we define an analogue of generalized Wiener measure and investigate its basic properties. We define (${\hat}It{o}$ type) stochastic integrals with respect to the generalized Wiener process and prove the ${\hat}It{o}$ formula. The existence and uniqueness of the solution of stochastic differential equation associated with the generalized Wiener process is proved. Finally, we generalize the linear filtering theory of Kalman-Bucy to the case of a generalized Wiener process.

In this paper, we further develop the weak polygroup theory, we define quotient weak polygroup and then the fundamental homomorphism theorem of group theory is derived in the context of weak polygroups. Also, we consider the fundamental relation $\beta$$^{*}$ defined on a weak polygroup and define a functor from the category of all weak polygroups into the category of all fundamental groups.s.

In this paper, we define precompact set in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and prove that any subset of an intuitionistic fuzzy metric space is compact if and only if it is precompact and complete. Also we define topologically complete intuitionistic fuzzy metrizable spaces and prove that any $G\delta$ set in a complete intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces is a topologically complete intuitionistic fuzzy metrizable space and vice versa.

현장의 품질 관리방법으로 식스시그마 DMAIC(Define-Measure-Analysis-Improve-Control) Process는 설계 분야의 Design for Six Sigma Process인 DMADV (Define-Measure-Analysis-Design-Verify), ICOV (Identify-Characterize-Optimize-Verify) Process 로 문제를 설계 단계에서 사전에 해결하는 How to do 의 방법, Process 로 확대되어 많은 기업으로 확대되고 있다. 또한 최근 신상품, 신사업 기획이 중요해지면서 What to do 에 해당하는, 블루오션 전략과 트리즈의 예측 방법과 Computer Aided Innovation Software를 포괄하는 DFSS의 확대 Process 와 그 효용에 대해서 본 논문에서 설명하고자 한다.
