A Lagrangian Relaxation Approach to Capacity Planning for a Manufacturing System with Flexible and Dedicated Machines

  • We consider a multiperiod capacity planning problem for determining a mix of flexible and dedicated capacities under budget restriction. These capacities are controlled by purchasing flexible machines and/or new dedicated machines and disposing old dedicated machines. Acquisition and replacement schedules are determined and operations are assigned to the flexible or dedicated machines for the objective of minimizing the sum of discounted costs of acquisition and operation of flexible machines, new dedicated machines, and old dedicated machines. In this research, the Problem is formulated as a mixed integer linear Program and solved by a Lagrangian relaxation approach. A subgradient optimization method is employed to obtain lower bounds and a multiplier adjustment method is devised to improve the bounds. We develop a linear programming based Lagrangian heuristic algorithm to find a good feasible solution of the original problem. Results of tests on randomly generated test problems show that the algorithm gives relatively good solutions in a reasonable amount of computation time.

An Exact Splitting Algorithm for a 4-Class-Based Dedicated Linear Storage Problem

  • In this paper, we address a layout design problem for determining an optimal 4-class-based dedicated linear storage layout in a class of unit load storage systems. Assuming that space requirement for a class is the sum of the maximum inventory levels of products assigned to the class, and that one-way travel time is a linear function of storage index, we formulate a 4-class-based dedicated linear storage problem PTL[4] and provide an exact splitting algorithm with $O(n{\lceil}logn{\rceil})$. Our algorithms could be applied to more than a 4-class-based dedicated storage layout problem with slight modification in order to reduce computational execution time.

A Converging Exact Algorithm for Determining an Optimal 3-Class-Based Dedicated Linear Storage System

  • In this paper, we readdress a layout design problem, PTL[3], for determining an optimal 3-class-based dedicated linear storage layout in a class of unit load storage systems. Based on some fundamental properties derived, we provide a converging exact algorithm with O(n[logn]), which is more efficient than that of Yang and Kim [8] and can be applied to PTL[K] with $K{\ge}4$ in order to reduce computational execution time. In addition, we prove that the necessary condition suggested by them is also a sufficient condition to PTL[3].

공유재산 운영성과 증진을 위한 관리전담부서 설립에 대한 연구 - 경기도를 중심으로 - (A Study on Establishment of the Dedicated Management Department to Improve the Operational Performance of Public Properties - Focused on Gyeonggido Province)

  • 본 연구는 경기도를 주요 분석대상으로 하여 공유재산 보유현황, 관리체제와 운영성과, 운영의 한계점 등을 분석하였다. 또한 경기도와 서울특별시, 인천광역시 등의 타 광역단체들의 공유재산 관리체제를 비교·분석하여 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 동시에 경기도 전체 공유재산 실무담당자를 대상으로 공유재산 운영과 관련된 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 경기도는 재정자립도가 완전하지 않기 때문에 재원확충이 중요인데도 불구하고 공유재산의 세외수입 실적이 보유규모에 비해 미미한 수준이다. 그 원인으로는 무엇보다도 공유재산 관리전담부서가 별도로 신설되어 있지 않고 기존의 업무를 담당하는 주무부서도 행정력이 부족하다는 점이 주요 원인이라 판단된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공유재산의 운영 성과와 기타 재산 가치를 증대시키기 위해서는 공유재산 전담부서를 신설할 것을 제안하고자 한다. 설문조사에서도 공유재산 운영 성과를 개선시키려면 현재의 관리체제를 개편해야 하며 그 개편방향은 전담부서의 신설이어야 한다는 인식이 형성되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 고속의 전용회선 통신서비스에 대한 급격한 수요로 통신망은 그 양과 종류가 급격하게 증가하고 있어서 전용회선 통신망 운용에 따른 망구성 및 고장처리 체계의 정립이 필요하게 되었다. 전용회선은 특성상 가입자 구간에서 시작하여 여러 전화국의 전송장치를 경유하고 다시 가입자구간으로 연결된다. 전용회선의 유지보수 및 운용관리는 전국 규모로 전용회선을 단대단으로 시험할 수 있고, 운용관리 업무를 집중화, 자동화, 전산화시킴으로써 전용회선에 대한 시험 및 운용관리업무를 일원화한 집중운용보전체제를 필요로 한다. 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위해서는 확장성이 높고 유연하여 데이터를 원격지에서도 접근할 수 있도록 하는 분산 시스템의 구성이 필수적이다. 분산시스템 설계의 하나의 방법으로 객체지향 설계가 많이 적용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 새롭게 요구되는 환경에서의 전용회선 통신망에 대한 구성 및 고장관리 요구사항을 정리하고 객체지향설계 언어인 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 적용한 전용회선운용관리시스템설계 방법을 제안한다

시청각기록물의 이관 및 관리 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Enhanced Plans of Audio-visual Records Management and Transfer)

  • 시청각기록물의 생산이 증가되고 포맷도 다양해지고 있다. 그러나 생산만 이루어지고 있을 뿐 이관 및 관리는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 중앙부처의 시청각기록물 현황을 생산 및 등록, 관리 및 활용, 이관, 전용 프로그램 관리 운용 현황과 문제점을 4가지로 나누어 살펴보았다. 이를 보완하기 위해서는 프로세스 및 전용 S/W 등 시청각기록물 관리의 프로세스 도구의 개발, 시청각기록물 관리 단계별 표준화, 시청각기록물 담당자의 인식변화와 기록관리 교육, 시청각기록물을 전담할 수 있는 인력의 필요, 국가기록원의 시청각기록물 전문 인력의 충원 등이 필요하다. 더불어 향후 활용과 보존을 위한 노력이 필요하다.

신재생에너지 예측을 위한 송전선로의 계량 데이터 계산 방법 (Calculation Method of Dedicated Transmission Line's Meteological Data to Forecast Renewable Energy)

  • This paper introduce Renewable Energy forecasting technology, which is a part of renewable management system. Then, calculation method of dedicated transmission line's meteorological data to forecast renewable energy is suggested. As the case of dedicated transmission line, there is only power output data combined the number of renewable plants' output that acquired from circuit breakers. So it is need to calculate meteorological data for dedicated transmission line that matched combined power output data. this paper suggests two calculation method. First method is select the plant has the largest capacity, and use it's meteorological data as line meteorological data. Second method is average with weight that given according to plants' capacity. In case study, suggested methods are applied to real data. Then use calculated data to Renewable forecasting and analyze the forecasting results.

사내기업가정신이 의료기관의 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 : 사내 혁신·창업 공모전 참여동기의 매개효과와 전담조직 지원의 조절효과 (The Effect of Corporate Entrepreneurship on Organizational Effectiveness of Medical Institutions : Mediating Effect of Motivation to Participate in The In-house Innovation & Start-up Contest and Moderating Effect of Support from a Dedicated Organization)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and organizational effectiveness among employees of medical institutions. In addition, we aim to investigate the mediating effect of motivation to participate in the In-house Innovation & Start-up Contest and the moderating effect of support from a dedicated organization. Methodology/Approach: A survey was conducted on participants in the 3rd in-house contest held in 2023 at Granum Sinapis Center of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. A total of 122 people responded to the survey. The collected data were analyzed PLS-SEM(Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model) using SmartPLS 4.0 program. Findings: First, 'Corporate entrepreneurship' had an effect on 'Participation motivation in in-house contest'. Second, 'Corporate entrepreneurship' had an effect on 'Organizational Effectiveness'. Third, 'Participation motivation in in-house contest' mediated the relationship between 'Corporate entrepreneurship' and 'Organizational Effectiveness'. And last, 'Support from a dedicated organization' had no moderating effect on the relationship between 'Corporate entrepreneurship' and 'Organizational Effectiveness'. Practical Implications: Since the dedicated organization is in the early stages of operation, there may be no moderating effect on organizational effectiveness. If follow-up research is conducted after the dedicated organization's system has been supplemented, the moderating effect may appear differently.

전용기계가 있는 혼합흐름공정의 생산 일정 계획 수립을 위한 2단계 접근법 (A Two-Stage Scheduling Approach on Hybrid Flow Shop with Dedicated Machine)

  • Purpose: This study deals with a production planning and scheduling problem to minimize the total weighted tardiness on hybrid flow shop with sets of non-identical parallel machines on stages, where parallel machines in the set are dedicated to perform specific subsets of jobs and sequence-dependent setup times are also considered. Methods: A two-stage approach, that applies MILP model in the 1st stage and dispatching rules in the 2nd stage, is proposed in this paper. The MILP model is used to assign jobs to a specific machine in order to equalize the workload of the machines at each stage, while new dispatching rules are proposed and applied to sequence jobs in the queue at each stage. Results: The proposed two-stage approach was implemented by using a commercial MILP solver and a commercial simulation software and a case study was developed based on the spark plug manufacturing process, which is an automotive component, and verified using the company's actual production history. The computational experiment shows that it can reduce the tardiness when used in conjunction with the dispatching rule. Conclusion: This proposed two-stage approach can be used for HFS systems with dedicated machines, which can be evaluated in terms of tardiness and makespan. The method is expected to be used for the aggregated production planning or shop floor-level production scheduling.
