Measurement of Food Process Variables with Microcomputer (마이크로컴퓨터를 이용한 식품공정의 변수계측)

  • To measure of important variables such as temperature, weight, and relative humidity in food processing process, computer-aided data acquisition system was composed of 16 bit microcomputer and PCL-711S interface board. Process variables in dehydration and storage of food were measured through sensors, converters, and computer system which were operated by the PC-LabDAS software for data acquisition, process control, and data analysis. The relationship between measured values of process variables and the output voltages of ADC showed more than 0.99 in $r^2$ value. Response time of sensors was enough fast to measure minute values changed in a moment.

  • The large distribution automation system for metropolitan city was developed in KEPCO just recently. This system has many functions for remote control and data acquisition, and it will be linked the other computer aided system such as NDIS(new distribution automation system) and SCADA(supervisory control and data acquisition) to construct the database of DAS(distribution automation system).

  • TETRA(TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) is the wireless communication system generally adopted to public network and backbone network, as the technology of Trunked Radio System specified by ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and currently adopted to the Electric Power IT Backbone Network in Korea. IEC 61850 is the protocol proposed for SAS(Substation Automation System) of SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system. In this paper, IEC 61850 Server and Client simulator are used based on Linux operating system. The multi-functional gateway, which transforms the communication based on TCP/IP between IEC 61850 Server Simulator and Client Simulator to the one based on TETRA Packet Data Service, is developed such that IEC 61850 SCADA system is constructed based on TETRA.

  • In this paper describe for development of conversion program by EMS data acquisition. Currently EMS output data has a arbitrary bus number and incorrect bus name. It is need to delvelop converting program for using this data to analysis real power system. Conversion consist of bus number and bus name convert, machine's MBASE, X''d, Machine ID, Area, Zone Code, adding tie-line and remove small genererator that was not consider in transient stability analysis. As result of this work, the efficiency of power system analysis is increase and the result input data is used for many analysis applications.

  • The design of Graphic Information System(GIS) in various applications is suffering from the difficulty of data acquisition, which is labor-intensive and time consuming. In order to provide the spatial data rapidly and accurately, 4S-Van, a prototype mobile mapping system, has been developed. The 4S-Van consists of 1)Global Positioning System(GPS), Inertial Navigation System(INS) for estimating the geographic position and attitude of the moving van, i.e.,(x, y, z) and the direction of the Van, 2) Charge Coupled Device(CCD) camera and laser scanner for capturing images and for measuring depth from geographic objects, and 3) External Synchronization Device(ESD) and industrial PC for synchronizing data from GPS/INS/CCD camera and for storing the data. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of the proto-Dpe 4S-Van system for spatial data acquisition for various GIS applications.

  • A thermal management system of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell is taken charge of controlling the temperature of fuel cell stack by rejection of electrochemically reacted heat. Two major components of thermal management system are heat exchanger and pump which determines required amount of heat. Since the performance and durability of PEMFC system is sensitive to the operating temperature and temperature distribution inside the stack, it is necessary to control the thermal management system properly under guidance of operating strategy. The control study of the thermal management system is able to be boosted up with hardware in the loop simulation which directly connects the plant simulation with real hardware components. In this study, the plant simulation of fuel cell stack has been developed and the simulation model is connected with virtual data acquisition system. And HIL simulator has been developed to control the coolant supply system for the study of PEMFC thermal management system. The virtual data acquisition system and the HIL simulator are developed under LabVIEWTM Platform and the Simulation interface toolkit integrates the fuel cell plant simulator with the virtual DAQ display and HIL simulator.

  • COMS DATS C&M software is an integrated management system providing control and monitoring functionalities for COMS IDACS (Image Data Acquisition and Control System). DATS C&M S/W consists of a system management module, a control and monitoring module, a data management module, and a trend analysis module. COMS SOC is supposed to operate IDACS as a backup of MSC. Especially, for the backup operation, the control and monitoring module of DATS C&M S/W is designed to support the synchronization of the two IDACS systems. This paper describes design, implementation, and result of development of DATS C&M S/W.

  • Investigation has been carried out on the characteristics of thermally stimulated current for PVDF (polyvinylidene flouride) film, using Data Acquisition system, in the temperature range from -100[$^{\circ}C$] to 20[$^{\circ}C$]. The peaks observed, two of the diatinguished peaks such as $\delta$, $\gamma$ each of which appeared at -39[$^{\circ}C$] and -15[$^{\circ}C$] respectively. Their peaks exhibited by the depolarization in amorphous region. It proposed new numerical method for analysis of TSC spectra.

  • 태양광 시장이 증가되면서 데이터가 표준화되지 않고 다양한 태양광 인버터 등의 설비들이 설치되어 운영되고 있다. 또한 현재 인버터 제조업체가 태양광 모니터링을 주도하고 있으나 인버터 제조업체 입장에서는 돈이 되지 않는 서비스 품목으로 인식하고 있으며, 다양한 태양광 설비들의 유지보수를 위해서는 각 설비마다 태양광 발전상태 모니터링이 절실히 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 태양광 설비들을 위한 멀티프로토콜 파서를 갖는 DAD(Data Acquisition Device)설계하고자 한다.

  • SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for remote monitoring, data acquisition and control are applied to major industrial infrastructures including power, water and railroad. Recently, there are many researches on key management scheme for secure communication due to change to the open network environment. These systems are located at far distances and are connected to the main control center through various types of communication methods. Due to the nature of these systems, they are becoming the significant targets of cyber attack. We propose an efficient key management scheme which is established on ID-based cryptosystem without an expensive computation on MTU (Master Terminal Unit), Sub-MTU, and RTU (Remote Terminal Unit). The proposed method is secure and effective in key management among multiple legitimate devices.
