The main objective of this study was to assess reference evapotranspiration based on multiple GCMs (General Circulation Models) and estimation methods. In this study, 10 GCMs based on the RCP (Representative Concentration Pathway) 4.5 scenario were used to estimate reference evapotranspiration. 54 ASOS (Automated Synoptic Observing System) data were constructed by statistical downscaling techniques. The meteorological variables of precipitation, maximum temperature and minimum temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation were produced using GCMs. For the past and future periods, we estimated reference evapotranspiration by GCMs and analyzed the statistical characteristics and analyzed its uncertainty. Five methods (BC: Blaney-Criddle, HS: Hargreaves-Samani, MK: Makkink, MS: Matt-Shuttleworth, and PM: Penman-Monteith) were selected to analyze the uncertainty by reference evapotranspiration estimation methods. We compared the uncertainty of reference evapotranspiration method by the variable expansion and analyzed which variables greatly influence reference evapotranspiration estimation. The posterior probabilities of five methods were estimated as BC: 0.1792, HS: 0.1775, MK: 0.2361, MS: 0.2054, and PM: 0.2018. The posterior probability indicated how well reference evapotranspiration estimated with 10 GCMs for five methods reflected the estimated reference evapotranspiration using the observed data. Through this study, we analyzed the overall characteristics of reference evapotranspiration according to GCMs and reference evapotranspiration estimation methods The results of this study might be used as a basic data for preparing the standard method of reference evapotranspiration to derive the water management method under climate change.

Reference interval is critical for interpreting laboratory results, monitoring response to therapy and predicting the prognosis of the patients in clinical settings. The aim of the present study was to update established reference intervals for routine hematologic and serum chemistry values for a population of clinically healthy dogs (range, 1-8 years) seen in an animal hospital. Blood was obtained by venipuncture while animals were physically restrained, and samples were analyzed for 9 chemistries on MS9-5H (Melot Schloesing Lab, France) and 6 hematology on Vet Test 8008 (IDEXX, USA). Data from 105 dogs (52 males and 53 females) for hematology and 113 dogs (37 males and 76 females) for chemistry were used to determine reference intervals using the parametric, nonparametric and bootstrap methods. Prior to analysis, all parameters were tested for normal distribution using Anderson-Darling criterion. Of the 9 biochemical analytes, alkaline phosphatase, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, creatinine, total protein, and glucose concentrations did not fit normal distribution for both original and transformed data. All but eosinophil count satisfied normal distribution for either original or transformed data. Parametric method can be used for original cholesterol concentrations, RBC, WBC, and neutrophil counts. This technique can also be used for power-transformed values of blood urea nitrogen concentrations and for logarithm of lymphocyte and monocyte counts. Non-parametric or bootstrap method was the preferred choice for the remaining 7 biochemical parameters and eosinophil count as they did not follow normal distributions. All three statistical techniques performed in similar reference intervals. When establishing reference intervals for clinical laboratory data, it is essential to assess the distribution of the original data to increase the accuracy of the interval, and non-parametric or bootstrap methods are of alternative for the data that do not fit normal distribution.

데이터의 품질을 평가하기 위해서 데이터 자체의 품질을 측정하는 방법과 데이터 품질을 관리하는 프로세스를 측정하는 방법이 활용되고 있다. 최근에는 조직의 데이터 품질을 보장 및 인증하기 위해 데이터 품질관리 프로세스의 성숙도를 측정하는 방법을 활용하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 본 논문에서는 데이터 품질관리의 프로세스 성숙도를 평가하는데 필요한 프로세스 참조모델을 제시한다. 우선 데이터 품질관리 프로세스 성숙도 평가 모델의 개요를 제시한다. 그리고, 프로세스 성숙도 평가에 기본이 되는 프로세스 참조모델을 제시한다. 여기서는 프로세스 도출 방안, 데이터 품질관리의 기본 원칙, SPICE 프로세스 참조 모델의 기본 개념을 기초로 하여 프로세스 참조모델의 구성과 세부 프로세스를 개발하였다. 그리고 본 모델의 특징 및 개선점을 ISO 8000-150의 프로세스와 비교하여 설명하였다.

Parameter identification is studied in viscoelastic rods by solving an inverse problem numerically. The material properties of the rod, which appear in the constitutive relations, are recovered by optimizing an objective function constructed from reference strain data. The resulting inverse algorithm consists of an optimization algorithm coupled with a corresponding direct algorithm that computes the strain fields given a set of material properties. Numerical results are presented for two model inverse problems; (i)the effect of noise in the reference strain fields (ii) the effect of minimal reference data in space and/or time data.

In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the common shape parameter of several inverse Gaussian distributions. Specially, we want to develop noninformative priors which satisfy certain objective criterion. The probability matching priors and reference priors of the common shape parameter will be developed. It turns out that the second order matching prior does not exist. The reference priors satisfy the first order matching criterion, but Jeffrey's prior is not the first order matching prior. We showed that the proposed reference prior matches the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense through simulation study, and an example based on real data is given.

In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the product of different powers of k means in the exponential distribution. We developed the first and second order matching priors. It turns out that the second order matching prior matches the alternative coverage probabilities, and is the highest posterior density matching prior. Also we revealed that the derived reference prior is the second order matching prior, and Jeffreys' prior and reference prior are the same. We showed that the proposed reference prior matches very well the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense through simulation study, and an example based on real data is given.

본 연구의 목적은 다음의 두 가설을 규명하기 위함이다. 첫째, 온라인 서비스의 특성은 근본적으로는 정보축적 매체의 변형에 따른 참고봉사의 자동화 연장이므로 전통적인 도서관 환경에 온라인 정보검색 서비스를 도입할 경우 궁극적으로 봉사업무를 실행하는 곳은 참고업무 부분이 된다. 따라서 데이터베이스 검색 서비스는 재래식 참고봉사를 보충하고 개선시키면서 완전히 통합될 때에 참고업무 전반에 걸쳐 변화를 줄 것이다. 둘째, 인쇄 출판물 자료속에서 탐색 제한을 받던 참고질문이 데이터베이스 검색 서비스로 가능해 지면, 서비스의 질적 향상과 함께 참고사서의 능률을 증대시킬 것이다. 또한 참고사서에 대한 이미지 향상과 전문직에 대한 인식 고취는 도서관 이용자를 증가시킬 것이다. 이러한 영향을 밝히기 위하여 "DIALOG" 데이터베이스 검색 서비스를 제공하고 있는 4개 전문도서관의 실태를 조사, 분석하여 참고하였다.

In this paper, we propose a novel D-ATR (Differential-Average Transmitted Reference) scheme for UWB (Ultra Wide Band) based on impulse radio. The proposed scheme utilizing differential coding at transceiver, does not cause half loss of data rate unlike the conventional TR (Transmitted Reference) and ATR (Average TR) systems which transmit additional reference signals. In addition, the proposed scheme may provide improved BER (Bit Error Rate) performance by averaging the received reference signals like the conventional ATR. The proposed D-ATR receiver produces the averaged reference template by considering both the detected data bit and the differential coding rule.

In this paper, we consider a decision-theoretic oriented, objective Bayesian inference for the difference between two normal means with known variances. We derive the Bayesian reference criterion as well as the intrinsic estimator and the credible region which correspond to the intrinsic discrepancy loss and the reference prior. We show the similarity between derived two-sample results and the results for the one-sample case in Bernardo(1999).

When X and Y have independent normal distributions with equal coefficient of variation, we develop the reference priors for different groups of ordering for the parameters. Propriety of posteriors under reference priors proved. A real example is presented to compare the classical estimator and Bayes estimator.
